It was just Spitfire. "Oh, hello, ma'm!How have you been?" Rainbow asked. "Just fine, thank you. I need to talk with you."Spitfire was like a general today, Rainbow Dash noticed. "Come in, ma'm," Rainbow let her in. "Oh,you don't have to refer to me as ma'm right now."Spitfire's voice was more relaxing now. "So, what was it you wanted to talk to me about?"Rainbow Dash asked. "I want you to give flying lessons. For the fillies and colts.Also that Twilight Sparkle.She has poor flying skill,only because she is a newbie to this whole flying thing.So,will you do it?"Spitfire was firm about this. "Um, sure.When should I start?"Rainbow agreed. "Sign ups are today, so lessons will begin tomorrow." "Oh,um,ok.Who has signed up so far?" "Twilight Sparkle and a little filly named Scootaloo."Spitfire looked on her signup sheet. "Ok, what are the rules?"Rainbow needed to know. "Lessons will be Monday through Friday, beginning at 7 A.M and ending at 5 P.M.This will go on for a month. At the end of the month, you must give a flying skills test. I will be there to evaluate. If they fail, they must come back after a full month. You will give lessons every few months.Two, to be exact. Now, they must have an excuse to miss a lesson.Otherwise, they have to go to next month's practice, along with the month they signed up for.Also, I will pay you with the money they pay to get these lessons."Spitfire explained. "Okay, but will you be there for the lessons?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Wednesdays, sometimes.I will be recording each pony's progress.That will be your job every day I do not show up. This will be like school.If they fail, next month of lessons is where they shall go."Spitfire was eager to answer Rainbow Dash's questions. "That's all?"Rainbow asked. "That is.I will see you tomorrow." And with that,Spitfire left. This sounds cool!I can't wait for tomorrow!Rainbow thought. Rainbow Dash flew off to Ponyville, to see Twilight Sparkle, not only to ask about the flying lessons she signed up for, but also to check out anotherDaring Doo book. "Hi,Rainbow Dash!"Twilight was clearly excited to see her. "Oh,hey!"Rainbow Dash said. "Here for another Daring Doo?I have the newest one!"Twilight got the book from the shelves. "Yeah,actually!You read my mind!"Rainbow took the book."Hey, did you sign up for flying lessons?" "Oh, yeah!I did!Spitfire requested.She said it would help me a lot."Twilight said casually. Rainbow laughed nervously."Yeah." "I guess I'll see you tomorrow." "Bye" Rainbow was impatient to leave.She flew out of the library and in front of Rarity's home. "Hey,Rarity."Rainbow Dash called. "Oh-Rainbow!You're a mess!Here, let me clean you up!"Rarity went off and Rainbow followed her, feeling nauseous. She didn't know why. "Ah,this will-Rainbow, you're pale.Are you feeling-"Rarity was cut off by Rainbow Dash speeding off to her bathroom. Rainbow curled up, her stomach writhing in pain.She wanted to throw up, crawl in a hole, and die.She had originally planned to get uniforms for the lessons, but now she wasn't sure if she wanted to.She crawled out of the bathroom a few minutes later, handed Rarity a note telling about the uniforms and, then flew to the fields.No surprise, Fluttershy was there. "Oh, Rainbow Dash, what's the matter?"Fluttershy truly sounded worried. "Pain.I don't think I can do the lessons for Spitfire."Rainbow replied raspily. "Rainbow Dash!I thought you were the element of Loyalty!You can't give up because you are nervous!And I won't let you!I will not let you leave until you Pinkie Promise me you will do those lessons,whatever they are for!"Fluttershy sounded like Spitfire.That encouraged her.She did the motions, thanked Fluttershy, and flew off to her house to get some sleep for the next day.

Rainbow Dash knelt down and vomited.All the students flew back,although Scootaloo had a pained,grossed out,and a totally wicked expression on her face.Twilight Sparkle was leading the fillies and colts to the side of the room.Or rather,cloud. "Okay,okay,fly over here.Derpy,take them to lunch,and Scootaloo,Stardust,let's check on Rainbow Dash."Twilight went back to the cloud,and Derpy took the fillies and colts to lunch,even though they had lost their appetites. "R-Rainbow Dash?Are you OK?"Scootaloo asked gently. Rainbow Dash covered her face with her hooves."No.I never will.I lost to a...filly."she gagged. "Do you want me to just sent the ponies home for the day?We can always practice tomorrow...we can forget this even happened..."Twilight trailed off. Rainbow Dash used all of her strength to pull herself up to look at the three ponies. "Fluttershy,come on.You know I was just crazy from all the vomit and confusion.I delirious when I'm sick.Vomit sick,anyways.Please?Just...help me..."Rainbow teared up. Rainbow Dash flew off.She thought about her conversation with Fluttershy,and decided she would apologize.But Spitfire was mad at her.She probably didn't want to see her face.And Twilight Sparkle was even more mad.She probably had a force field over the library.And Scootaloo was about as mad as she was when Scootaloo,Sweetie Belle,and Apple Bloom pretended to be Gabby Gums to write the gossip column.Ugh.This was so hard.It was getting dark,so Rainbow flew home.She decided to go to sleep so she could wake up to...nevermind.Rainbow fell asleep. Rainbow Dash woke up to screams.She instantly got up and flew out.The scream was loud,and she flew off to search.There she found all the foals,Twilight Sparkle,and Spitfire tied up.Rainbow gasped. "It was Rainbow Dash!She tied us up!"one filly shouted. "My horn isn't working!"Twilight was mad. "Why,Rainbow Dash?!What did we do?!"another filly screamed. "It wasn't me!I swear!"Rainbow shouted. "Your right.It wasn't."a voice said.It was Marco Marco,another pegasus colt,who had been rejected due to violence. "Wait,where is Stardust Clover?"somepony asked. "I tossed her off of the highest cloud,just now."Marco Marco smirked. Rainbow flew off the cloud.It was around midnight.Princess Luna was flying around,and Rainbow caused her to spin like a tornado. "Rainbow Dash!What the..."Luna saw what she was going after. Rainbow didn't look back.Stardust was going to die if she didn't catch her.She caught her just in time,and pulled the young filly off into a cloud. "Are you okay?"Rainbow asked. "Oh,yeah!"the filly said. They flew off and untied the group.Marco Marco was taken away by Luna,and the lessons were canceled for the day. "Rainbow,I have decided to reinstate you to teach my lessons again."Spitfire said proudly.Rainbow was excited. "But on one condition:don't go crazy and race the students unless everyone races.So you can beat somepony else so you don't get sick again,if you know what I mean.Deal?"Spitfire winked. "Deal." They shook hooves on it.

"Are you sure you want to do this?I warn you, this will be very hard!"Rainbow barked. "Yes,ma'm!"they all shouted. Rainbow flew to a filly who didn't seem to belong. "And who are you?"She asked. "I am Stardust Clover,ma'm!"she looked straight ahead. "And how old are you?"Rainbow Dash asked. "I am 13 years old, ma'm." still looked straight ahead. "You really want to do this?"Rainbow asked. Stardust looked right into her eyes. "Yeah.Want some proof?" "Race me." The young filly unfolded her her wings,which were almost as big as Princess Celestia's. Rainbow Dash was beginning to regret her decision.But why would she sign up for lessons if she was a good flyer?Rainbow put that thought aside, and Twilight Sparkle whispered,"Do you really want to do this?On the first day?And with a filly?" "Yeah!" Scootaloo spoke up,only to get a glare from Twilight. "Let's do this." Rainbow and Stardust flew to a starting line. "Ready?.........Set?.........GO!!!!"Rainbow Dash and Stardust Clover flew off. The scenery was beautiful in Cloudsdale that day,and normally Rainbow would look as she flew.A little bit,so she could concentrate.But she was in pain,the same pain from the day before.Stardust was slowly catching up.She was going at speeds Rainbow had to fly long distances just to fly that fast.Then she realized terrible things.A sonic boom.Or a sonic starboom. Who knows? Then it happened. It was the combination of stars and four-leaved clovers.Like a sonic rainboom,but more epic.Everyone was in awe.Twilight Sparkle and Scootaloo were cheering for..Stardust? Rainbow Dash lost the race.
