Destiny's Child
Chapter 1
I was walking home from school like I normally did, blasting music through my headphones. I wonder what mama cooking for dinner? I hope it's her meatloaf I love it! I thought as went through my keys to enter the house.
As I entered sounds came a nearby room, I did what I normally did. Investigate. I saw my mother in corner a gun pointing at her head. I knew what this was, I had watched news in morning and it said something about a murderer this was probably him.
He turned his head to me then my mama the moved his gun to face me, " Move and she gets shot, now hand the money!" he yelled. My heart started to beat fast if my mama moved I would die but if she handed the money over I would still die.
My mama slowly crawled to her purse and handed him the wallet, he pulled the trigger. I wanted to think fast but I couldn't and now I wish I took classes that made you flexible so I could bend like that dude in the matrix.
It hit me right in the doggone chest, I felt pain all over me. My vision blurred but I could see my mama holding me as soon as the police arrived. Her crying made me even sadder, I put my hand on her face and whispered out my last words. "I did what I could mama, always know that I love you", I closed my eyes for the last time.
