"Why do we have to live like this now?" asked Apple Bloom. "We don't exactly have a choice, Sugar Cube."  "Eeyup." said Big Mac.

"Why are we hiding in here though? Is there a reason?"  asked Apple Bloom.  "Well yes Sugar Cube.  But it's...  a long story."  AppleJack was trying to avoid explaining the situation to Apple Bloom, figuring she would get scared.  "But I wanna be with Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo."  "Honeybun, it could be worse."  "I guess.  I could be stuck in a room with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon!  But AppleJack, why do we have to stay in the dark?"  "So they don't find us."  AppleJack replied.  "W-what? Wh-o?"

"TWILIGHT WE'RE GOING TO DIE!" Spike shouted. "Spike, don't say that. It's okay."  Twilight reassured him."Lies, lies lies, Twilight."

"Spike, please.  We're gonna be fine in here."

"I guess so."

*A call from Fluttershy's house comes in.

"Fluttershy? I'm so glad you called!"

"Twilight, that's not important now. Are your lights off?" asked Fluttershy.

"Wait, what?" asked Twilight.

"ARE YOUR LIGHTS OFF? TURN OFF YOUR LIGHTS!"

**Just about the same chaos was going on at everyone else's houses. Except for SugarCube Sweet Shop.

Pinkie remained rather calm. Surprisingly calm. ABNORMALLY calm.

"So this is the end?" she asked.

"Of course not!" said Carrot.

"No, don't lie to me like that." She spoke in a rather low voice, not cheery and high as usual.

"Pinkie, it's all going to be okay."

"Sure. Whatever it takes to make you feel better Carrot. But I know we're all gonna die."

Suddenly, the lights flickered on and then back off. But Pinkie was no longer there.

Rainbow Dash didn't know what was happening and was calling out, "HELLO? ANYONE?"

What's going on, she thought to herself. It was daytime, but the sky looked darker than usual. She could hear thunder, although the sky was perfectly clear. But it wasn't because of the Pegasus. The news had not reached them in  time, so they cleared the sky in the morning. After that, a lot of them were gone. This storm didn't have anything to do with the weather ponies. No. This was happening all on its own. All of a sudden, she heard screams coming from Sugarcube Corner. Then, there was a flash of lightning. THEN, the sky went completely black. After that, Rainbow Dash was gone. Meanwhile at Fluttershy's house, Angel was panicking, looking all over Fluttershy after the phone call. She went in private to do it, in her bathroom. He managed to knock down the bathroom door but there was no sight of her.

Twilight had been calming Spike down when she got the call, so she went over to the light switch to turn it off, and it turned off before she touched it. And just like that, Twilight was gone.

AppleJack was asking Big Mac if he knew what was happening. He had no way to say 'Eeyup' to that. But she saw a ray of light shining into the old barn threw a small hole in the wall. As she went to cover it up with a piece of cloth and some duct tape, she had a thought. She thought to herself, 'What if I'm lying to Apple Bloom? What if it isn't okay?' And as she covered the light, she disappeared.

Hello? Anyone here? I can't see anything! It's me, Twilight!"

Obviously, that was Pinkie. But she sounded different. Her voice was lower. Darker.

Uh... Hello? Anyone home? All I see is the color black! It's me! AppleJack!
