Luna was sitting on the terrace,alone not a pony in sight. She heard hoof steps getting closer,closer and closer...
"Who walks upon a royal without addressing themselves!" Luna said while using the royal canter lot voice. But no answer.
All she heard were the twinkles of the stars.
" Oh Snowdrop, you will forever be in my heart..." Luna muttered gloomily as she looked at the stars while tears ran down
her face. Suddenly a shadow appeared, Luna's eyes went big and face went blank. As a dark figure appeared in front of her she
let out a scream.
"AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! Luna screamed for a moment and then realized that it was her, but her evil form. Nightmare Moon to be exact. She has battle scares and most of her armour was severely damaged. She was smiling but not a evil smile, a nice one! She was about to faint but before she did she said.
" I have changed" Nightmare Moon said before she fainted. Luna used her magic to take her to a free room in the castle.
" Sleep well me..." Princess Luna said before she walked out. She was about to close the door as she heard giggles, giggles of little filly's.
" Maybe we can get our cutie marks from healing!" Said sweetie belle in a joyful voice.
"Only YOU can heal ponies Sweetie Belle!" Said rudely Scootaloo.
"Yeah Sweetie Belle maybe you should just look for your cutie mark by yourself, me and Scootaloo will stay together, you just stay out of our way!" Apple Bloom said while Cantering off with Scootaloo.
"Poor Sweetie Belle..." Luna said while closing the door softly.
"Luna? Is that you?" Nightmare Moon said sweetly with a smile on her face. Luna was shocked, she would never have guessed that Nightmare Moon would be nice to well, anypony!
"Yes it is me Nightmare Moon, it is me Princess Luna princess of the night. What happend you were on my terrace knocked out and all bruised and full of cuts. What happend?" Luna asked curiously.
"Discord has returned and possessed Derpy, he is trying to rule over Equestria, like we tried to but I don't think he will fail like we did, he will be doing this on one of the most important holidays of the year, Thanksgiving..." Said Nightmare Moon depressed and gloomly.
"But but but, he must not! I must tell Celestia at once!" Said Princess Luna while trying to storm out of the room and tell Princess Celestia but Nightmare Moon grabbed her hooves and tried to calm her down by telling her not to be worried.
"We should get a good nights rest and worry about this tomorrow, I will see you in the morning your majesty." Said Nightmare Moon while fighting back tears.
"Nightmare Moon, please just call me sister, please" Luna said to Nightmare Moon while Nightmare Moon crawled into bed. Luna walk out and saw Sweetie Belle crying behind a plant. Luna walked over and grabbed her tiny little filly hoof and gave her a smile. Sweetie Belle's face lit up with a smile.
"Thanks Princess Luna..." Said Sweetie Belle with a smile. Luna took her hoof and brought her to a room and set her in bed and walked to her room to do what Nightmare Moon said to do,get a good nights rest. When Princess Luna tried to sleep but it did not come easy, she tried to think about other things but she couldn't. What was Princess Celestia gonna think? What will Canterlot think? What will Manehaten think? What will Princess Galaxia and King Aster think? What will ponyville think? What will EQUESTRIA think?! Princess Luna was stressed out to the max! Who would ever forgive her, she will have to go to the moon again! What will she do with her life?! Can she even tell Princess Celestia?! But, Nightmare Moon has changed right? If she is lying to her, Princess Celestia can help! Maybe... She may not forgive Princess Luna. She will, she knows she will.
As time passed and the moon went down and the sun rose Princess Luna heard Sweetie Belle singing! And she was magnificent! And then KNOCK...KNOCK...KNOCK....
"LUNA! WHEN'S BREAKFAST?!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed loudly. Luna groaned, she didn't want to get up and make breakfast for anypony at the moment so as the smart alicorn she is, she plopped Sweetie Belle over near Princess Celestia and sent a note saying ask Celestia. So Sweetie Belle did, she chanted and stomped her hooves until Princess Celestia had her while attention focused on her. She chanted and stomped all the way until she reached Princess Cadence and Shining Armour's room and started to bug them. So that left Princess Luna and Nightmare Moon some extra time to sleep. Princess Luna decided to go over to Nightmare Moon to tell her that well maybe she should come out and show everypony that she has changed. Princess Luna walked along the long decorated hallways stoping by Nightmare Moon's room. But, before she entered she heard screaming it sounded like Nightmare Moon! Princess Luna swung the door open and waited for an answer from.... CELESTIA?' Yes, it was Princess Celestia Princess Luna caught her in the act of trying to hurt Nightmare Moon. Warm tears ran down Princess Luna's face as she watched in silence. When Princess Celestia noticed Princess Luna was there she cantered off and ran out into Princess Luna's room. Sweetie Belle peeked out if the closet and said.
"Is it over?" Nightmare Moon nodded, Sweetie Belle ran to Nightmare Moon and gave her a humongous hug. Princess Luna was confused, Sweetie Belle likes Nightmare Moon? They're friends? How did she find out? Did she know this whole time? How long has she known? Will she tell everypony and will Princess Luna get banished to the moon again? Who knows?
