Prologue
Canterlot
4th of Summer 1001 C.R., 9:54 pm
"Fancy is going to love this!"
Fluer De Lis gently padded her mane as she looked at herself in the store window she had began to pass by. She couldn't help but smile brightly at what she saw. A light pink mane flowed gracefully down her head, tickling the back of her neck ever so slightly, Her fur shined brilliantly in the light of the streetlamps, adding a mysteries aura to her already pristine appearance. She had gotten herself ready tonight, even coming home early so she could surprise him. She beamed even brighter and held her head up high like a true Canterlot pony.
And how could she not.
She had the most amazing stallion in all of Equestria. She had access to money, though she knew better to just spend willy-nilly. She was raised better then that. Not to mention she lived a lavish lifestyle that other mares could only dream of, and while she did feel sorry for those other mares, she was not about to let a good thing slip from her grasp.
She stopped as she neared the home of the magnificent Fancy Pants. She had chosen out almost all of the décor and she was mighty proud of it. The long walkway lined with a beautiful flowerbed caused her heart to flutter. Leaning down, she plucked a delicate white flower and used her magic to slip it behind her ear. She was sure to make this a night both of them would not soon forget. She had promised him when she came back from her mother's
Fluer de Lis quietly opened the door hoping to not to be caught like some little school filly coming home late from a friends party. What's the point in surprising her stallion if somepony saw her. Though as she made it further into the house she began to think this was too easy. On maid or butler saw her sneak in due to the fact that none were present what-so-ever. She looked around the first floor and, when she found no one, she made her way up the stairs. As she did so, she could hear music playing, muffled by a nearby door. Curiosity getting the better of her, she made her way to it and pressed her ear against it. She could hear...sounds...muffled sounds but sounds none the less. Using her magic she opened the door to the room that she and Fancy Shared.

Fleur De Lis stormed out of the house with a rather undignified huff, following after her a blushing and slightly scatted Fancy Pants, his white fur covered in red kisses from neck to face.
“Wait my dear! I can explain!”
She did not wait however as she trekked/stomped down the stairs. Her bright pink mane and white fur, all groomed and shiny began to become more and more distressed as she kept going, to heeding Fancy’s calls.
It wasn’t until they were outside when she finally stopped in her tracks. The stallion stopped as well smiled awkwardly. “D-dear I can…” He was cut off as something hit him. He looked down at the ground to find a ring of golden make lying in front of him. “W-wait! Your being to rash about this! W-we can work around it right? If I could just-”
The mare turned on the spot, tears ruining the mascara that she had so lovingly donned for her former lover. “Oh I do believe you do not need to my dear!” She pronounced dear something akin to a curse. “Me seeing you in bed with that…that…Cow was all the explanation I needed!”
“Honey! Wait!”
The stallion tried to grab on to her hoof but she pulled away and slapped him across the face sending him sprawling to the floor. “Don’t you honey me and don’t you dare touch me! You and I are through do you hear me! Keep you money and your wealth! I want nothing to do with you ever again!”
She galloped away as fast as she could all the while fresh tears falling down her face onto the ground below. With fancy looking out after her.

It was some time before Fleur realized where she had ended up. The familiar maze like garden of the royal Canterlot Castle caused another wave of tears to flow fresh. “F-figures I would end up here…The first place we met…the day he told me he loved me…It was all right here”
She could remember it all, the smell of the grass the feeling of butterflies flowing in her belly, the tingling of her hooves. She remembered it all to the point where it became sickening. She needed to get away, she needed to go someplace where he was not, where he has not been. “P-Ponyville…That mare…Rarity was it…she said it was a nice place…” But would it be far enough? She felt that she barely wanted to be under the same sky as Fancy.
She looked up into the night sky, the stars twinkling ever so brightly. “I wish…I could just…” Her eyes turned to find a shooting star flying across the sky she closed her eyes as tears once again flowed down her face. “I wish…I could be anywhere…but here…”
Once she opened her eyes again she found that her shooting star had begun to act in a funny way. It swerved this way and that at wild angles, all the while looking as if was becoming bigger. No…wait…It looked like it was coming closer…
She kept her eyes glued to the sky and, as it did, she could see that something was amiss with her shooting star. Now, she knew she wasn’t one of the most brightest mares in the county but she was smart enough to know that a shooting star was nothing more than oversized rock flying too close to the earth. So it came to a complete surprise to her when she noticed a vaguely informal shape to it. True she could not tell what it was exactly but it was just too…even in appearance and-
“Oh Dear!!”
She ducked just as it passed by her. It more than likely wouldn’t have hit her in the first place it always pays to be safe than sorry right? A loud crash was heard in the distance and followed by the sound of something tearing through the dirt. When it ended she opened her once more to find that her surroundings had changed drastically.
Some parts of the hedge brush, mostly the parts where the object must have hit, were ruined though miraculously not burned as she might have expected. The air was filled with smoke and dust, causing her to cough just a little bit. Her eyes stung at the touch of the dust.
“W-what in Luna’s name was that?” Fleur said out loud. She tracked her way toward the way the object had been headed , the dust becoming thicker and thicker as she went. It almost became hard to see. She could smell fire somewhere close by but could not ascertain where.
“I…I should leave…I don’t know what that this was but…” She her head bumped into something rather hard. It didn’t feel like rock…no it actually felt like wood. She waved a hoof in front of herself and felt the surface of it. Yep defiantly wood. The dust and smoke began to clear up and she could finally make out what it was she had just bump into, and her eyes went wide as to what she saw.
A big blue wooden…box? Yes it had to have been a box. It lay on its side with deep scorch marks covering every inch of it. The dust began to clear all the way and she could make out some words she had yet to have seen. She titled her head to the side to try to get a better look. “Police Public Call Box?” What the hey was that?
Fleur cautiously came closer to it and gave it a gentle knock. She was, much to her surprised, rewarded with a loud creek for her efforts in inspection. She jumped back in fright just as something came crashing down to where she just had been. She was set to run away but then saw exactly what it was that had nearly crushed her. A stallion, brown furred and maned lay on the dusty ground, a golden hew of dust particles dissipating from his body as he did so. She looked up just in time to see a door shut just soon after from the place he had just fallen from. She didn’t know what it was but she was sure that it wasn’t normal.
Her eyes widened as the stallion began to stir from where he had just fallen, his limbs slowly trying to lift himself up. She could hear him talking to himself, mumbling under his breath. She could see one of his eyes opening and could see deep blue sapphires, ones like she had never seen in her life fading in and out of consciousness.
“She’s safe…at least she’s safe…Don’t…have to …C-Cla…I’m sorry…I’m so, so sorry…” The stallion went limp after that not moving an inch.
“Ohnoohno!” Fleur quickly made her way to the stallion and looked him over. He had…no bruises. None what so ever. He didn’t even look as though he should be looking as if he was hurt. She looked him over to getting a look at his cutie mark. “An hourglass? “ She had never seen a hour glass cutiemark before. Maybe he was a time keeper. If that was so then why was he in that blue box?
The sound of him grunting caused her vision to snap back to stallion. He really did look in pain. “None of that matters right now. He needs help and he needs it bad.” She quickly but carefully lifted him up with her magic and set him delicately on her back. He was, to her surprise, a lot lighter then he looked. She galloped as fast as she could to the local hospital, all the while looking back at the blue box one last time.
Was it her imagination or did she here a sound coming from it?

Black ooze slipped from underneath the blue box slowly making its way into the hedge bushes.
It popped and bubbled viciously as it began to search for what it needed. For what it longed for. For what it wanted
It needed a host. It could not let him find him. Not that easily.
It longed for revenge. Revenge against the very being it hated the most. The very being that had killed everything that he knew was his own.
It needed to…

Abandoned Ally
5th of Summer, 1001 C.R., 12:45 p.m.
A mare with a blue mane and orange coat ran down the dark ally, the mare being followed behind by three stallions, each one more menacing than the last. Out of breath she turned a corner only to be met with a dead end. She turned to face the ones that had chased her, the fear on her face evident to all three sadistically grinning stallions.
The seemingly leader of the group trotted slowly forward, chuckling to himself. “Well, well, well…Looks as though you’ve met the end of the line my dear…” The other two stallions snickered at the oblivious joke. The leader looked back once to show his approval before turning back to face the mare. “Now then…what can you do to make up for bumping into me?” He placed a hoof on his chin and went into a state of mock thought. “Well…I think I can come up with a few ways for you to do so.” He gripped her hoof and pulled her in roughly. “Becoming our plaything might just make us even and square ya know…or” He reached into his coat pocket, pulling out a brass hoof covering. “I could always mess up that pretty little face of yours…”
The mare quaked in what seemed like fear for a moment before looking down. She whispered something inaudibly to him, causing the stallion to lean in with ear facing her.
“What was that doll face?”
“I said…” The mare spoke in deeper tone then a mare should have, her voice almost sounding otherworldly. “Got ya…” The mare’s eye’s widened and her mouth opened, releasing black ooze from all three openings. The stallion tried to jump back but it was too late, the ooze covering his body quickly and just as it had come out of the mare’s mouth and eyes, so did it seep into the stallions own. He only screamed once before he stopped, standing rigidly still with his head down. The former mare’s body, now a shriveled husk, lay down at his feet.
The other two stallion slowly backed away, fear etched onto both of their faces. The sound of one of them stepping on a twig caused their leader to stand at full attention with head raised up.
“Heheheh…” He spoke, the creepy overtone masking his voice just like it had the mare’s. “Such…delicious creatures you beings are…Oh yes…” He turned to the other two grinning madly. “I could get use to all of this…”
The two stallions barely had time to react as the black ooze shot out of his mouth and eyes toward the last two stallions. They clutched each other in fear as the being attacked them without mercy, sating its ever-growing hunger.

Chapter One: Body Snatched Part One
Canterlot: Hospital
West Wing
6 th of Summer C.R., 8:24 a.m.
Fleur De Lis made her way back to the room that housed the stallion she had found just two days ago. Opening the door to the room, she quietly trotted inside and set her cup of coffee by the nightstand. Her mind began to wonder everything that had happened in just so short of a time, mostly about the condition of the stallion that lay before her.
Despite not having any injuries, the stallion had of yet to regain consciences. The doctors in Canterlot Hospital, who were by far some of the best that Equestria had to offer, were stumped just as much as she was. All of the usual magic to ascertain information about a sick pony weren’t working at all, and only the basic of magic like levitation seemed to have any real effect on him at all. The doctors decided to leave him for now, hoping to come up with some other way to ascertain what was wrong with stallion.
She had decided just yesterday to leave the pony in the doctor’s care and went to find out what happened to that big blue box that the pony came out of, and also to check upon the damage that it done to the Canterlot Maze Garden. When she arrived however, she found that not only was the garden no longer destroyed but the big blue box seemed to have just…disappeared. Did somepony take it? Did the guard? She had no way of knowing. Still what could she do about it?
Fleur sighed deeply. From cheating lovers to mysteries stallions. This was just too much for her. She released a gentle yawn and blinked a few times, the weight of two nearly sleepless nights in a hospital getting to her. She did what she could for her messy mane and fur, having to smooth it out as best she could with what she had. Still, a night in a soft bed would be better than just sleeping in a creaky old chair.
Her gaze feel upon the comatose stallion as she let her head rest gently on the side of the bed. Just a little rest… She thought to herself. She closed her eyes letting her wariness take her into deep recesses of her mind.

Canterlot: Hospital
West Wing: Room 204
9:30 a.m.
A tap on her head awoke the mare from her peaceful slumber. Her eyes fluttered as they tried to adjust to the lighting of the sun shining through the window. “Huh…Y-yes? Who’s there?”
“Ah! Good you’re awake.” The voice that answered her spoke in a proper tone and accent, almost gentlepony in nature. “If I could take a few moments of your time that would be just brilliant.”
Fleur’s gaze shifted around, looking for the pony who had just spoken to her moments ago. To her surprise she found that the stallion that had just been in a coma like state for nearly two days was sitting upright in the bed, looking down upon her with a bright smile on his face. His deep blue eyes stared at her as her bright pink ones did the same to him. She couldn’t take them away from those eyes of his. They seemed so kind in appearance, but something seemed overwhelmingly sad about them. They seemed like they were much older then she could have even imagined, but that was impossible…right?
It was then that realization soon struck the mare as to who she was speaking to.
“Oh my Celestia! You’re awake! How? Why?” She lifted herself up and began to franticly look around the room. “N-No! Scratch that! D-Doctor! We need a doctor!”
“Well, If you need a doctor then you came to the right…err…animal…thingy.” The stallion said, waving a hoof in front of her.
Fleur looked toward him with a raised eyebrow. “You’re…a doctor?”
“No. Well...Yes. Well…Yes and no…” The stallion smiled brightly. “You know what…It would be easier if I just told you my name.” He held out his hoof to her. “Ello! I am…The Doctor.”
She looked down upon the hoof with apprehension before shaking it with her own. “Doctor? Doctor Who?”
The stallion couldn’t help but snicker at her question, an act that rather made the mare a little irritated. When he saw her scowl he straightened himself back up. “Heh…Sorry…That gets me every time.”
“What gets you every time?”
“Someone always asking me doctor who when I say I’m the Doctor.”
Her frown deepened. “My dear sir, if they ask you that every time you say your name is the Doctor, then what do you think is the problem?”
The stallion placed a hoof on his chin and tapped it lightly. “Hmm…you may have a point.”
“Then please tell me your proper name.”
“I told you already. The Doctor.”
The mare raised an eyebrow. “You’re saying your name is…The Doctor?”
The stallion pointed a hoof to her and then pointed the same hoof to his muzzle “Right you are my dear miss…Oh! I am terribly sorry. I never did catch your name did I?”
“I…I am…Fleur de Lis…”
It was the ‘Doctor’s’ turn to raise an eye brow. “Fleur de…lis? Really? Your named after the French symbol?”
“French? Do you mean Prance?”
“No I mean France. You know Paris. Elfiel Tower. All that lot.”
Fleur began to look worried. “Doctor…I think you may have hit your head a few times in that crash. It is not France but Prance. Mareis, Prance. And it is Shyful Tower.”
The Doctor stared at her for a good long minuet before tilting his head to the side. “Oh you have got to be kidding me…” Before the mare could respond the stallion held up a hoof to her mouth. “You know what, don’t answer that for now. First things first I have a few questions, just a few, then we can argue about all the silly puns you just made in the course of ten seconds flat.”
When he released her mouth she glared at him. “I’m the one that should be asking the questions. Who are you, really? Where did you come from? What was that Blue Box!?”
“Oi! That’s not fair. I wanted to ask questions first.” He pouted a little before turning his frown into a bright smile. “Ok I got an Idea. You answer all of my questions and I promise to answer some of yours. Agreed?”
“I…I…I…”
“The aye’s have!” He jumped out of bed, stretching his limbs and looking himself over. “OK! First me! Tell me…I’m seem to be an equine of some sort, right?” He began to pat his head with his hoof, feeling his facial structure. “Never been an equine before. That’s rather new…Me an equine. Am I a horse? No…Not a horse. I feel too…small. A pony? Yes! That seems about right. Doctor TImepony! Heh. Has a nice ring to it.” He turned to face her. “Now onwards to my question.” He pointed a hoof toward his flank, more specifically, to the picture that graced it. “Why is there a tattoo on my…rear?”
Fleur eyes widened a bit. “W-what? Wait. You don’t know about your cutiemark?”
“A cutie…what?” He narrowed his eyes and poked the hourglass mark, chuckling a little when he did so. ”I suppose it means something or another?”
“But of course. A cutiemark displays a pony’s special talent.”
“And I got an hourglass, eh? Very fitting for me indeed.” He turned to face her with a wide smile that turned into a playfully sniggered. “A timepony with an hourglass for his cutiemark.”
Fleur stepped a little closer to him, a worried expression on face. “Sir…Doctor…Are you ill? Do you need to lie do-“
“WAIT!!”
Fleur reared back at the Doctor’s sudden outburst, falling back on her hunches as she did so. The speed at which the Doctor switched emotions was frightening. “W-what is it?”
The Doctor began to pace the room tapping a hoof to his forehead as he did so. “There’s something I’m forgetting…Something…Important…extremely important.” He turned to face Fleur. “Tell me Miss…Can I call you Lis? Or do you prefer Fleur? I can also call you De if you like.” When she stuttered Fleur was fine he continued. “Right! Miss Fleur! Tell me, what do you think I’m forgetting about?”
She looked to her left and to her right, slightly uncomfortable about being suddenly put on the spot with such a ridiculous and random question. How was she supposed to know what he had forgotten about. Her might went blank for a couple of seconds before she was able to find her voice again. When Fleur spoke she stammered the first thought that had come to her mind. “B-blue…box?”
“Yes! Quite right! The big blue Box. My big blue box. Also known as the TARDIS!” He began pacing again. “Let’s see…I was flying the TARDIS, you know, like I do every time, and I was attacked, which was odd due to the fact that I was still in the Time Vortex. So whatever it was that attacked me was either already in the Time Vortex or was already on the TARDIS to begin with. Both reasons seem very unlikely but I can’t rule out either just on that alone.” He stopped his pacing and turned to face the mare again. “Next question! What attacked me and how was it able to damage my TARDIS?” He held up a hoof before she could even say a word “Well I guess the second part is obvious due to the fact that my TARDIS was already damaged to begin with. Still! I’m missing something…something…Important…” He paused as his eyes widened by degrees. “Oh no…” He looked at the mare with a serious face, his bright eyes gaining a harder edge. “That’s not good…not good at all…”
Fleur’s head was spinning. TARDIS? Time Vortex? What the hey was he talking about. What’s not good?! This pony is mad! She spoke to him in a calm and clear tone. “Sir…if you could just calm down. I think you were in an accident. I’ll just go get the doctors and-Hey! Where are you going?“
The stallion, who had been making his way toward the door, turned his head to glance back at the mare. “To the TARDIS my dear. Do try to keep up.” He smiled and turned on his hoof heading out the door way.
Fleur stared slack jawed for a moment before moving to follow after. She caught up to him, slowing down to keep pace with him from behind. “What is a TARDIS? Why do you need to go there?”
“You want to know so badly my dear Miss Fleur?” The stallion smirked when she nodded hesitantly. “Well…if you’re that curious than all you have to do is follow me.” He looked straight ahead his smile disappearing completely. “Besides…being beside me is probably the safest place right now…”
The way he said that made the fur on the back of Fleur’s neck stand on end. “W-what do you mean?”
“What I mean is that you…no…not just you…All of whatever place I just landed in…it’s all in grave danger, and I fear I may have been the one to have bright it here…”

Canterlot
Just outside the Royal Maze Garden
10:45 a.m.
Fleur, now having took the lead due to the fact that the Doctor didn’t seem to know where he was going, led him to the royal Canterlot Maze Garden. She had told him, or at least tried to tell him, that when she came to inspect the crash site before, that she could not find anything out of place, nor could she find any sighs of the big blue box that the stallion came out of. It all fell on death ears though as the Doctor was much too busy admiring the sights that were Canterlot.
“Doctor!” Fleur called out as she looked behind herself. “If you say you need to hurry then shouldn’t we be hurrying?”
The stallion gave her a look that screamed what do you mean before his eyes widened a bit. “Oh! Right! Sorry! It’s just…I just noticed…you’re a unicorn.”
He ran up to Fleur and stared at her horn, causing her to look uncomfortably away. “D-Doctor…what are you doing?”
“Looking at that horn of yours what else.” He reached a hoof to tap her horn, causing the mare to blush brightly when he did so. She slapped his hoof away and glared at him.
“D-Doctor! Have you no shame!”
“What! What I do!” he asked, looking affronted.
“Unicorns horns are sensitive!” She blushed and looked away.
“Oh? Ooooohhhh…” He said in realization. “Terribly sorry about that my dear Fleur. Still new to this and what not.” He looked himself over.
“What are you talking about? Have you never seen a unicorn in before?”
“Don’t be silly, of course I have.” He paused before sheepishly looking away. “It’s just…I never seen one in real life before.”
She rose an eyebrow at his response. “Never…what? What do you mean?”
“Now miss Fleur, now is not the time for questions! He galloped ahead of her, toward the opening of the Canterlot Garden Maze. “Aha! This must be the place where you said you found me.”
“Y-yes…This is the place Doctor but…” Her words fell of death ears as the stallion ran off. “Doctor! Doctor wait!” She galloped after him at full speed. She was glad that she always kept her body in shape cause despite how the stallion looked, he sure could run fast. “Doctor! Stop! Do you even know where you are going?!”
He did not answer her, instead he stopped in the middle of a opening staring off into distant space. Fleur, now completely out of breath stood by panting, trying to catch it again.
“I…I tired…I tried to tell you…I…Its gone…Has been for the past two days…” Fleur gasped.
The Doctor glanced at her for the side before smirking lightly. He raised a hoof and…looked at it. “Oh…well…damn…forgot about the no fingers thing you ponies have…” He sat on his hunches and staired at both of his hooves before clapping them together twice.
In an instant the big blue box that Fleur had seen just two days ago materialized in front of her. It looked brand new, noting like the scared mess it was just two days prior. There were more words upon a door.

“Ah there you are my cleaver sexy girl. Good as new and good to go. Let’s just pop in for a second and see what you look like.” The Doctor pushed the door open and stepped inside completely without stopping. “What?! What is this?! You’re still not ready? Well I guess you did get hit pretty hard back there”
Fleur tried to follow suit but the door closed with a snap just before she could even try. She stood at the entrance, slightly huffy. She didn’t have to wait long before when with a creek and the door swung in and out came the Doctor, dressed in a tweed jacket and red tie. The jacket, brown in color, seemed to be oversized somewhat; he even had to roll up the sleeves of it just so that he could move better.
He smiled brightly at her gave her a quick pose. “So…how do I look?”
As one of the former leaders in the world of fashion all she could do was deadpan and reply. “Raggedy…”
“Oi!”
Fleur stomped her hoof hard on the ground scilencing any retort he may have had. “I’m tired, heartbroken, and really, really angry! The blue box who had just two days ago nearly decimated these very gardens, which by the way are no longer ruined, randomly appears before me after you, what? Clap your hooves like you were summoning a servant! “She stood face to face with the stallion, her face touching his own. “Will you forget about what you look like and tell me what the hey is going on!”
The Doctor blinked once before smiling sheepishly. “Right so…it’s my turn to answer questions right?” at her nod he continued. “Right would you like to know?”
“What is,” She raised a hoof toward the Blue Box. “THAT! Where did it come from? Why are we here and what did you mean that we are in danger.”
“That…is the TARDIS. Stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space.” He gave her a sly smile. “It’s how I get around. As to where it came from, I added a new feature to it not too long ago. If I’m not around for a day or two the TARDIS will automatically go into cloaking mode, mostly as an just in case measure.” He reached his mouth inside the coat and pulled out a metal object. He sat on his hunches and balanced it within his hooves. It was rather long but sleek looking. A little green bulb rested at the tip of it. “As to why I came here I needed this, my sonic screwdriver.” Putting it away he reached into the other pocket and pulled out a leather like pouch. “And this, my psyche paper.” He put the object away and turned to face her once again. “As to why we are in danger…Well…Let me tell you a little story about a little black blob of mass destruction…”

11:00 p.m.
It looked around in the darkness, opting to stay in the shadows as the sun rose higher in the sky. It was lucky, finding four meals in such a short amount of time. Still, it hungered for more. It wanted more. It needed more. It stepped trotted in the body it obtained but found to its distaste something was amiss with it.
“This body’s flesh is rotting…” It looked itself over watching the fur and the sky flake off its body. “I need something better…something…longer lasting…” It creaked its way to a window and looked up toward the castle of Canterlot. “These memories…yes…they shall sever me well…I shall have a long lasting body…and then…this world will become my feast…and after all is said and done…then I will find the destroyer…

East Canterlot
6 th of Summer C.R., 12:24 p.m.
Fleur and the Doctor sat at a restaurant awaiting the food they had ordered, much to the mares annoyance. The Doctor had just stopped in the middle of talking just to say that he was “IN THE MOOD FOR SOME CARROTS!” With a hop skip and a jump, mostly on his end, the pair of ponies sat at The Flower Shrub, a local restaurant close to the Royal Maze Gardens. She had watched as he fumbled with the menu all the while smiling like a foal in a candy store. She just couldn’t pinpoint his personality. He seemed to have more mood swings than a mare in heat. Right now, he was giddy with excitement.
“There are just so many of you ponies!” The Doctor said smiling. “Big ones, fat ones, skinny ones, tall ones! Red, blue, green, yellow! Every color imaginable.” The stallion eyes widened as he looked to the sky. “Oh! And pegasi too! Flying ponies! Never thought I would see the day I would get surprised about something as…well…impossible as that. “He looked back toward the mare. “And horns too. I would guess have those mean you can do something as well, right? Right? Of course I’m right. So tell me what can you do?”
“You…don’t know?” Fleur asked raising an eyebrow. “We unicorns can do magic.” Giving him a demonstration, she levitated her menu toward him with a gentle glow of her horn.
The Doctor eyes widened. “You mean I could have regenerated into something that can do that? Why is it that I never get what I want!? Like being ginger! How come I couldn’t be a ginger unicorn with cool levitating powers as well?!” The Doctor hung his head down and shook his head mumbling under his breath. “Not ginger…not a unicorn…I never get what I want…”
The only bit of information that the mare could obtain was the first bit about regeneration. “Regenerated? What do you mean by that?” And then another thought popped into her head. “And aren’t we supposed to be talking about that dangerous thing you mentioned earlier?”
The Doctor looked toward her with wide eyes. “Oh! Right! Nearly forgot about that. Hmmm… Well I best first tell you about…well… me.” The Doctor coughed into his hoof to clear his throat. “Right. Allow me to formally introduce myself. I am…the Doctor, from the Planet Gallifrey.”
The mare gave The Doctor a scrutinizing look. “You…You have got to be kidding me?” She scoffed. “The planet Gala-what? Are you saying you’re not from this world? Do you honestly expect me to believe that you are an alien pony?”
“What?” The Doctor said looking affronted. “Of course not. Don’t be silly.” He paused and then said. “I’m not a pony I’m a Time Lord.”
“Oh…Ok…” She looked away from him towards the direction of the hospital. “Listen…if you need help I know a few good doctors that can…”
“Really? You really going to go there, after what you saw?” The Doctor accused, folding his hooves about his chest.
“If you’re talking about your Tardy-“
“TARDIS.”
“Whatever…If you talking about that invisibility spell you placed on it then you’re going to have to do better than that to convince me you’re not just crazy.”
“Oh come on!” The Doctor rolled his eyes. “Why is it that you lot always question my sanity every chance you get.” He sighed gently. “Listen, right now, as much as I would love to prove you how very wrong you are right here and now, I do believe I need to get to the second business of what I need to be doing.” His eyes strayed past her and furrowed deeply. “…And I do believe that I am needed now more than ever.”
The mare turned to face what he was looking at. A crowd of ponies were gathered by an alleyway, and blocking the entrance was a few of the royal guard. Some of the ponies seemed to have turned a shade of green at whatever it was that held their entrance.
“Looks like our talk will have to wait for now Miss Fleur…” He jumped from the table, biting down on a carrot as he passed by the waiter.
“Wait! Doctor!” She placed a few bit on the table before galloping after him. She should have just left him, he was clearly crazy. Despite that however she followed him, brushing past the crowd toward the front. When she was right beside him she asked him, “Doctor, what are you doing?”
Before the Doctor could respond a pair of spears suddenly blocked their path, both held by two burly stallions in golden armor.
“Halt! No civilians allowed past this point by order of her majesty!” One of them spoke in a commanding tone.
Fleur was about to back away but stopped when the Doctor approached the two stallions without fear. “Right! I think you’ve been expecting me.” The blue eyed stallion reached into his coat pocket, pulling out that strange leathery pouch he had placed in there before. “Look. See?”
The guard that spoke looked at the small piece of paper and widened his eyes. “Inspector Timepony! Yes of course. Right this way.” To Fleur’s amazement both guards removed their spears so that he could pass. “Right at the end of the all.”
The Doctor nodded and turned to face Fleur. “Coming assistant?” Without waiting for a response he trotted past the guards, making his way toward the back of the ally.
Fleur stood by for only a second, not really sure of what to make of what had just transpired, before racing after him. When she caught up she spoke in a quiet tone. “What the hey did you just show him? Why did he call you Inspector Timepony?”
The Doctor smiled and pulled the pouch out. Opening it he showed her the piece of paper. To her surprise, it read something completely different. “A coupon for a free day at the spa? Wait! I…is that…That’s the same paper you showed the guard! How did…”
“Psychic Paper.” He answered after putting the object away. “It allows someone to see what I want them to see or whatever the one I’m showing it to wants to see.” He smirked held his head up high. “Still need convincing my dear?”
The mare looked away scoffing once more. “While I’ll admit…I’m not the most…studious…of unicorns, I don’t think that your little paper trick is outside of the realm of possibility.” Still, it was news to her and she was very much intrigued by it, not that she would admit it to this crazy colt.
The Doctor rolled his eyes as he moved forward. “Whatever helps you sleep at night, miss Fleur.”
The pair of ponies, upon reaching the back of the ally, found four more of the royal guard nearby, talking amongst themselves in hushed tones.
“What…what could do this?”
“Don’t know…never seen anything like it…”
“You think it might have been will-o-wisp?”
“Will-o-wisps don’t do…that…I should know…I’ve fought them…”
One of the guards turned to face the Fleur and the Doctor as they approached. “What are…Oh! You must be the Inspector that the Princess had sent for.”
“Yep! Yep! That’s me! Inspector Timepony, aka the Doctor. In fact I would prefer if you just called me the Doctor thanks.” He motioned toward the mare beside him. “And this here is-“
“F-Fleur de lis?!” One of the guards called out.
The Doctor arched an eyebrow. “You…know her?”
“Of course!” The guard seemed to blush slightly in embarrassment. “I…She’s a famous pony model and actress…I seen all of her movies…”
Fleur looked away. Of course she would get noticed. Just because she left Fancy doesn’t mean that she’s still not famous the world over. In fact she was willing to bet that Fancy has of yet to address the fact that she had left him. She turned to face the ogling guard with a kind expression. “It’s always good to meet a fan but right now…” She motioned toward the Doctor. “I am working with the Inspector.” She paused and added for good measure. “Do you have a problem with that?”
The guards all shuffled in silence as they looked toward the mare. One stepped up and said what they all were thinking. “Miss Lis…It’s just that…Well…Three ponies were killed last night…”
The mare had to admit, she turned a little green at the new information. Still… “I…it’s not like I haven’t seen a dead pony before.” She hoped she sounded stronger than she felt. “Is that what all this is about?”
Another guard turned to face the back of the alleyway. “It’s not that three ponies were killed…it’s the way they were…”
The mare grew a little frustrated. “Will you stop beating around the bush. What happened? How were they…” her voice cut off as she looked toward the ground in front of her. She found, to her dismay a scene that would not look out of place in a horror novel. Three ponies lay before her, each one of their bodies shriveled up like a prune. All that was left of what they were was an empty husk of fur and bones. The mare was glad she had skipped lunch, she was sure she would have lost it there and then if she hadn’t.
The Doctor kneeled before one of the bodies, an orange coated pony with a blue mane. He placed a hoof on its face and closed his eyes. He cringed as he began to mumble under his breath. He looked up as he found Fleur making her way towards him.
“D-Doctor…what…what did…”
“The Blorvens…” The Doctor Said, turning back to face the shriveled ponies. “An ancient alien race from the East side of the Galatian Galaxy. Been around since…hmm…well for almost as half long as we Timelords.” He lifted himself up and faced the mare. “I had a run in with them once or twice before. Nasty bunch really. Ruthless and calculating.”
Fleur looked toward the bodies as she spoke. “W-what did it do to them?”
“Blorvens…they…Well…Its not pretty…not one bit. They eat the insides of one’s body, organ, tissue, and all that lot. They then use the body as a host to walk about.”
Fleur gulped audibly “A…and you’re saying they came from…up there?” She pointed a hoof upwards to the sky.
“No…Well yes….Well…Yes and no.” He sighed gently. “Miss Fleur, I’m not asking you to believe me, but you need to trust in what I say. No matter where this monster comes from, I have to stop it.” He looked back towards the dried husk of former ponies. “You can see what it does to you ponies if I don’t…”
“H-how do you plan on catching…that monster?” Fleur Gulped.
The Doctor smiled brightly. “Glad you asked!” Slipping his head into his jacket and pulled out the metal device he had placed in there earlier. “Right! Let’s see what we got here…” Pointing at one of the bodies a loud whirring sound filled the air around them, stopping just as abruptly when he was finished. He positioned the object in his mouth so he could look at the bulb at the tip of it. “Hmmm…” Slipping it back into his jacket he shook his head slowly. “I have its energy signature but I can’t track it…at least not right now.”
Fleur eyes widened. She wanted to know what that…device was but more pressing matters were a hoof. “Why can’t you track it?”
The Doctor began to pace back and forth as he talked a frown upon his face. “When a Blorven takes over a host it becomes that host, memories, feelings everything, which means that despite the Blorven being an invader, it would give off the same signal as the body it took over. Until it pops out of the body it had taken over, I can’t track it correctly.” He then smiled brightly. “But it works for us because anybody he possesses can’t last for too long due to his one nature body’s need to feed. If no food is present then it just eats the body of the one it took causing it to decay. Gruesome I know but without the body it can’t move in the sun. Natural enemy and what not…”
The stallion began to pace rapidly back and forth tapping a hoof to his head. “Ok Doctor! Think, think, think! How can one find something that does not want to be found...?”
“What about the castle guard?” Fleur questioned. “Can’t they help?”
“No…Telling you peo…err…Ponies about something like this would only cause an uproar. And what if any civilians happen upon the Blorven hmm? We would just be giving it more food.” He sighed. “Besides another bit about the Blorven, a body takes longer to decay depending upon the body it took over. I say this because the castle guard have you unicorns who, I suspect, more than likely know powerful…ahem…Magic, including, and I’m only guessing, healing spells.” He sighed dejectedly. “The more I talk about it the more I want to be a unicorn…” He mumbled before continuing. “Anyway, with a healing spell the Blorven would be able to prolong their life expectancy in their body, delaying the decay. This is bad news for us if our enemy found someone who is or knows someone with magical abilities. And if it finds someone with great power then…well…game over…But I doubt that someone like that actually exist in this world.”
Fleur sat on her haunches, raising a hoof to cover her mouth. “Oh no…dear Celestia no…”
The Doctor turned to face her. “Hmm? What is it?”
“Doctor! If it’s true that you’re not from here…then you wouldn’t know about our princesses.”
“Well…that would be the case yeah. Why?”
“We need to find that creature now!
“What? Why?”
“Princess Celestia and Luna are in trouble!”

“Ok. Ok. Let me get this straight...” The Doctor said in a low yet excited tone, because despite how absurd it sounded, he was actually intrigued. Both he and Fleur made their way to the steps of Canterlot, the mare leading the way as the Doctor trotted behind her. After getting the cliff-note version of how some of Equestria works the Doctor could not help but question every bit of logic that she threw his way. “You have two ponies that can not only rule over all of this…Equestria…not only that but they can raise and lower the sun and the moon at will?” He raised a hoof to stop her from answering right away. “Hang on…not done.” He cleared his throat as he continued. “You also say the pegasi can manipulated the weather at will…causing it to rain or snow or even summon a bloody well tornado? All of this on a whim or request?” He raised an eyebrow. “You expect me to believe that?”
Fleur gave the Doctor a sideways glance. “All of this coming from a pony who’s expecting me to believe that he is not a pony at all.”
“Oy! That’s…well…” He thought for a moment. “Ok, you got me there Miss Fleur. Still I would love to look into it more after this. Oh! I should visit a Library! I’m sure to find so many places to go to in this world! So many new and exciting things and none of it have been explored yet. Not every day I get to see new things! Oh this will be exciting!”
“Doctor! I think we should worry about the situation at hoof.” Fleur said with an aspirating sigh. Oh how his rambling could wear on her nerves, and she’s only spent less than twelve hours in his company. For some reason though, him acting like it was a casual day at the park set her mind at ease. She couldn’t explain it. It just felt…relaxing. Scary but relaxing. It calmed her to know that she was by his side. That he said that he would be there to protect her. How could he have such an effect on her?
She shook her head of the thoughts. Maybe it was just her imagination.
She was brought out of her inner self by the stallion’s voice. “Oh! I do think we are here Miss Fleur!” He smiled as he pointed a hoof toward the royal gates leading to the castle's courtyard. Two guards stood by with spears in hoof, not moving an inch. Turning to the mare he smiled and winked. “Alright! Time to gain an audience with two princesses. Oh this will be too easy.” With a cocky step the Time lord made his way to the two guards. As soon as he got within three feet of them they crossed their spears together blocking his entrance.
“Halt!”
“Who goes there?”
The Doctor looked between the two of them and smiled widely. “Good evening chaps.” He reaches into his coat pocket and pulls out his Psychic Paper, showing it off to the two guards. “Inspector Timepony! I’m here at the Princesses’ request.”
“Sorry. All business with the princesses is currently being put on hold for the moment due to personal reasons. Come back tomorrow.”
“What? But…but…the invitation…”
The guards did not say another word as they stood rigidly blocking the gateway. The Doctor looked at them dejectedly before turning to go back to Fleur. “Well…guess you can’t win them all eh? Ok…new plan. With the TARDIS still fixing up the damages done to it I won’t be able to use the tracking system, which, as you could have properly guessed, would have been quite useful in our current situation since it might be able to track him despite him being in a stolen body. We need to either come up with a plan to lure it out, or wait until night for it to strike its next prey.”
“I don’t like either of those plans Doctor.” Fleur shook her head. “Either one will put a ponies life in danger.”
“Right you are Miss Fleur…right you are…” He began to pace back and forth, tapping a hoof to his chin as he thought to himself. “Planplanplan…thinkthinkthink…Come on Doctor you’re not that old yet, only a thousand years or so. You can still do this Doctor…” He jumped a bit as a loud whirl began to go off in his jacket. Reaching into his coat, he pulled out his Sonic Screwdriver and smiled broadly. “Ha! Haha! He’s out! The body must have deteriorated.” His joy was short lived as another thought popped into his mind. “Or…”
Fleur inched closer as he left the word hanging. “Or…?
He turned to face her. “Or he’s hunting another victim…” Slipping the device into his mouth he began to gallop back to the depths of the City.
Fleur’s eyes darted back and forth as if contemplating something before she made up her mind to start running after him. She caught up with the stallion just as he turned a corner, the Sonic Screwdriver hanging in his mouth. When she was right beside him she looked at her and then toward the road and then back at her, his eyes wide. He skidded to a halt prompting her to do the same. When she turned to face him the stallion had closed the distance on them, his face right up on hers and his device was in his hoof.
“Where do you think you’re going?” He asked in an accusing tone.
She looked away and then back at him. “I…ah…”
“Do you know where I’m going?
She looked with wavering determination. “I-I’m following you…”
“Oh?” The Doctor raised an eyebrow. “Is that so? Well I’m going to confront a monster. A monster that has killed. A monster that has killed more times then you could even count. A monster that will not hesitate to kill you.” Each time he spoke he poked her on her chest to emphasize the point. As he did so she scrunched her muzzle in a way that he more than likely would have found adorable if not for what was happening right now. “Is that where you’re going?”
“I…I just…”
“Let me tell you right now Miss. Fleur, it’s not going to be pretty and it’s not going to be safe. Whatever its doing you won’t like it one bit. So I’ll ask again; where are you going?”
She closed her eyes and pondered that very question. She had followed him without really meaning too all this time. In that short time she had known him she had already seen things that were seemingly impossible. Even after encountering what that…that monster could do, she stayed by his side. Why had she? She didn’t know him, but…he had an aura about him. Call it mare’s intuition but she couldn’t help but feel…safe…
That alone made her decision much easier.
“I’m…going with you.”
The Doctor smirked as she patted her on the shoulder. “Good girl. Right then! Geronimo!”

Lowtown

Canterlot Lowtown
A place deep within the mountain that Canterlot Castle resides in. A place that revels in the dark. Many ponies however make their home here, finding work digging for gems and other odd assortment of jobs. It is here that we find two familiar ponies galloping, making their way their way through lower Canterlot, the soft whirl of the Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver leading the way. Shady looking buildings littered the area cause Fleur to make sure that she did not leave the Doctor’s side one bit. The Doctor had ignored most of her questions except the ones where he wanted to answer. When he finally spoke and when he actually did it was in the form of a question.
A question to which she was not prepared for. Not in the long run…
“Do you think that catchphrase is played out?”
“Huh?” To say that the mare gave him an inquisitive look would be an understatement. “What do you mean? What catchphrase?”
“Geronimo. I think it’s played out. Used it too many times in my last regeneration. I need a new one.”
“Should you really be worried about some catchphrase at a time like this? That monster is still out there!” The mare complained in irritation. She then relented when she processed the last bit of information. “I think you mentioned regeneration before. What do you mean by that?”
The Doctor cut his eyes over to her before looking back forward. “I mentioned before to you that I am a Time Lord. It the name of my race you see. We Time Lords, we have the ability to regenerate after we…well…bite the dust so to speak. When we do so we gain a new body. A new face. A new everything really.”
“Even when you die of old age?”
“Never really thought about it, honestly. Never got a chance to die of old age really.”
“But you have died though?” The mare questioned.
The Doctor was silent.
“I…I’m sorry.” The mare stuttered. “I guess that might be private.” The mare thought for a moment. “So it is like you are born anew though? That is amazing Doctor. It’s like you're immortal, just like the Princesses.”
“Immortal...” The Doctor parroted as he looked away. “Well yes I guess…in a fashion…”
The mare had to ask. “So…How old are you then?”
The Doctor was silent for a moment before he answered her, when he did his voice as distant, distracted even. “Over one thousand one hundred and three I would happen to guess. Though I could be more. I am getting old. Forgetting things.”
“Oh my. That makes you at least older than both of the princesses…You must have met so many wonderful ponies.”
The Doctor’s ears folded back against his head. “Heh…Yeah. I have…”
Fleur tilted her head, finding the stallion tone a little disheartening. His eyes seemed to glaze over somewhat, as if he was deep in thought. “Doctor? Is there something wrong?”
The Doctor shook his head, snapping himself out of his dejected dreamlike state. Turning to face the mare he gave her an enigmatic smile, showing off his pearly white teeth. “No! Nothing at all! Now then, let’s focus Miss Fleur. We have a killer alien to catch and what not!”
She however was not convinced in the slightest. He seemed whatever it was that he was thinking about seemed too important the just let go but before she could question him further, a scream could be heard in the distance.
The Doctor’s eyes blanched. “No…NononononoNONONO!” He picked up his speed, galloping full tilt towards an open alleyway following the directing the Sonic Screwdriver pointed him in. Once inside the mare and the Time Lord was greeted to a sight that neither one of them had wanted to see.
A unicorn pony, her fur was bright dark green, and her mane, the color of the sun, stood rigid as black ooze slipped into her body through her mouth, ears, eyes. Anywhere where there was a small opening. Beside her was a crying filly shaking the older ponies leg. A unicorn just like the other one, her mane was a light yellow and her fur was faded lavender.
“Get her away from there!” The Doctor snapped, his voice gaining an edge Fleur had yet to hear from him. It was frightening…dangerous even. Despite her frighten look, it took her less than a few moments for the mare to collect her thoughts and use her magic to pry the filly off of the green mare that seemed to be seething in pain. The filly reached out crying loudly as she floated towards the Doctor and Fleur.
“Momma! Momma!” The filly struggled in the magical hold. “Let me go! Momma’s hurt!”
When Fleur had the filly near them the Doctor quickly went up to her and, after gripping the back of her head, placed his forehead upon her own. “Shhh…quiet…everything will be fine…” His voice was low, sweet even. The complete opposite of how he was just moments before. The filly’s eyelids began to droop as he spoke soothingly to her, and soon she was hanging limp as she fell into a deep sleep, the only thing keeping her upright being Fleur’s magic. Releasing the filly the Doctor turned to face the green pony, which was done with whatever it was doing and was now stretching and popping its new body’s bones.
“Ah…that feels much better.” The green pony spoke with an evil smirk. “Getting a new body is always a pleasant experience. You know what I’m saying, right Doctor?” the possessed mare smirked as the Doctor glared. “What’s the matter? Cat got your tongue?”
The Doctor’s eyes grew cold as he stared at the possessed mare. “Blorven Skimore I presume. The most notorious outlaw that sailed across the galaxies.” The Doctor gave him cold smile. “You know I’ve been looking for you for some time.” He took a step towards the monster, putting himself in front of the mare and the filly. “Even among your own kind you are considered ruthless.”
“Well that is true Doctor.” Skimore gave him a dark glare of his own. “It’s especially true since you nearly wiped out my entire race oh so long ago!”
The Doctor shook his head sadly. “That was so long ago…I had tried to stop it but it was too late. If your ancestors had not been so…”
“Save your excuses Doctor!” Skimore began to back pedal away from the Doctor. “Heh…No matter what you say Doctor it was your fault. All that matters to me now is your death Doctor!”
The Doctor stomped his hoof upon the ground. “Then come after me! Do not, I repeat, DO NOT put others in the way between the hate you have for me!”
“You know as well as I do, it’s never really that simple. And It will never be quite that simple…Doctor! Besides, I do so love that look of pain that crosses onto your face each time you're too late to save the day.” The monster turned to a sewer cover and wrapped it with the mares magic. As it did the Doctor shined his Sonic Screwdriver towards it as it lifted the top of the covering before dropping in, escaping underground.
The Doctor tried to go after him, but the cover was once again covering the hole. “No! NononononoNONONO!” The Doctor stomped onto the ground. Another pony died! Not just any pony a mother. And now the child was left alone in the world. The Doctor could see Fleur’s magic gripping the sewer hole cover lifting it up as Skimore had done. He shook his head however. “I’m sure it knows where it’s going. Properly even planned for this.”
The mare looked down at the child she held now held in her hooves. “It…it killed her mother…”
“Yes…yes it did…” The Doctor lowered his head. Breathing hard the stallion closed his eyes and trotted towards the mare.
“What do we do Doctor? How can we stop it?”
“What do we do? Heh…so glad you asked Fleur.” The Doctor opened his eyes once more, a steely cold edge forming into them. “I have a plan of my own.”

“Welp…this is a fine plan Doctor…” The Timelord mused to himself. “The most thought out? Noooooo. The most concrete? Noooooo. The most likely to succeed? Wellll…Maybe. But a fine plan none the less.” He looked around. “Well…at least I think it is anyway.”
Making his way carefully down Mane Street, The Doctor couldn’t help but let a soft chuckle escape from his lips at the play-on-words. “Mane Street? Really? Mane Street? I should have expected it but it still gets me all the same, everytime I think of it.” With another gentle chortle he looked about, his face growing from slightly joyful to intense in less than ten seconds. “Now…If I was an evil murdering alien intent on getting revenge on the one aline that wants to put a stop to his devious plans, where would I hide?” The Doctor’s ears flicked and he skipped to the side at the last second as a green colored being pounced at where he once stood from the shadows, black tentacles oozing from her mouth, slipping back inside her once again. He rolled to one side before looking back up to find exactly what he was looking for slowly turning to face him. “Well…in the shadow right behind me apparently…” He mumbled under his breath.
“Why don’t you just stand still and die Doctor?” The Blorvin said through the mares voice, its hoofsteps echoing in the cold night air.
The Timelord took a step back for each of the mare’s step’s forward, shrugging as he did so. “Well you know me. Can’t keep still, gotta keep moving and all that.” The Doctor took a few glances here and there. “A habit I can’t really kick really.”
“Why don’t you just stay were you are and except your punishment Doctor. After everything you have done, that I have heard you have done, do you really think my crimes could ever measure up to yours.” The mare smirked. “Let me be the judging being to set things right…”
“Well…tempting offer. Really it is. Wouldn’t change it for the life of me.” The Doctor turned to his side. “But before we do…Might we liven things up bit?”
“Oh?” The possessed pony raised an eyebrow. “What sort of game?” He asked in an annoyed tone.
“A very special game. One I use to play in my younger days.” He reared up kicking his hooves in the air before bolting away from the murdering alien. “Catch me if you can!!”

Fleur ran as fast as she could through Canterlot, her hoof beats echoing throughout the darken streets, the mare huffing and puffing as she galloped as fast as she could throughout the streets. She had not ran this fast in all her life, going over the part of the plan she had been given. He had, for his own reasons apparently, told her only what she should do and nothing else. It made her apprehensive but she had to do something, despite how outlandish it sounded. She had to trust that the doctor knew what he was doing.
With the sight of Canterlot Castle coming into view the mare put on an extra burst of speed. She could see the night guard making their way to their shifts, adjusting armor and holding spears. She gave an unladylike gulp of fear as she saw that they had finally noticed her nearing them without stopping. She had needed to get past the lot of them if she was to make it on time. She didn’t know why, but she felt that if she failed…then all of Equestia would be in danger.

6 th of Summer C.R., 10:30 p.m.
The night guards at the front gate could see a white blur speeding a little too quickly their way for their liking. They looked at each other before looking back towards the white dot slowly becoming the distinctive shape of a pony speeding towards them. It took only seconds before they would raise their spears and issue out an order of halt. Though they were sure the pony was in earshot they did not stop, instead the pony seemed to increase in speed at the sound of their voice.
“What do we do?” The one guard asked the other, a hint of uncertainty in his voice. “They don’t seem to be halting…”
The other guard squinted his eyes as she looked upon the mare. “Hey…I…I think that’s a mare. But what does she think she is doing?” he was about to call out to the mare again when he saw her horn glow with a flick of pink magic. She seemed to be readying a spell. “Is she…Is she attacking the castle?”
“Might be one of Celestia’s or Luna’s crazy fans.” His collogue suggested. “If that’s the case then do we take her down?” He looked towards the distance, eyeing the mare. “I…Hey wait…isn’t that…”
The mare stopped in front of them, her pink mane in a tizzy as she breathed heavily. “S-sirs…I…I must see the princess.” She gasped out. “It’s…It’s important.”
“Fleur? Is that you?” One of the guards asked. “Fancy has been looking everywhere for you miss.” He reached out a hoof to grip her leg. “Come with me and we’ll take you too him. He’s been worried sick.”
The mare pulled away anger shifting into her eyes. “I have no time for the cheating foal! I need to see the princess! Now!”
“Now My Lady.” One guard exclaimed. “Be reasonable. You look like a mess and you need to get cleaned up. Fancy explained what was going on and he says that you need to rest.”
“W-what exactly are you saying…” She asked in an even tone. “What has he said about me.”
“He says that you been rather stressed and you need to take your medica-”
He didn’t get a chance to finish his sentence as something large and heavy slammed into him from the side. He laid in a daze, as well as his partner, the one who had suddenly and without warning, had a crash course in how strong an angry mare’s unicorn magic can be. As the mare used her magic to unlock the front she began to speak in a low tone.
“I do hope you all forgive me…but I need to speak to Celestia right now.” She smiled inwardly though. All those Magi-Fu Classes really came in handy in more ways than just keeping her body toned for…for. She blocked the thought of HIM from her mind. Why did he want her? She had said she was through with him so why? Was he really saying odd things about her?
The mare shook her head.
“Forget him for now...I need to do what the Doctor told me to do.” She said comely. She needed to get moving and she needed to do it now. She knew that the easy part was now over. Now came to actually meeting the mares in question. She didn’t know how she would but she needed to do so and she needed to do it soon.

6 th of Summer C.R., 11:15 p.m.
“Whoops almost got me again!” The Doctor taunted as he ducked just out of reach of the mare’s grasp. Even in the dark night the stallion could see he was working the creature’s nerves. Despite being a stallion, he seemed to move with the grace of a dancer and had the vitality to match.
This thought bounced around in his head before he made a quick face of disgust.
“Really!? A dancer?! Really?! I couldn’t be…a..a..oh now what were those blokes that jumped from building to building? Parkourist? No…Yes…maybe…Yes.” He ducked just as a dark tentacle came zipping past his head and looked back to see a very angry blorvin. “Ok…Thinking while running for my life is bad. Very, very bad!” He looked forward and put on an extra burst of speed. “I’d rather deal with the Zigons any day. At least they have the decency to not kill you to take your form…well…not all the time.”
He once again jumped over a strike from the possessed mare who was now more irritated then before. “Stand still you damned fool!” It screamed. “You can’t keep this forever!”
“You’ll be surprised at how long I can keep this up!” He called back with a happy tone. “Did I ever tell you about the time River and I spent the night at the Tower of Pisa?” He chuckled to himself. “Let’s just say-”
“Shut the hell up!!” another tentacle struck close to where he was and he just laughed it off.
“Oh! So close!” He inwardly cringed however. A bit too close. Gotta watch myself…
The Stallion quickly made his way towards the cities giant fountain. Stopping just in front of it. He turned to find the monster stopping just a few dozen feet…or in this case a few dozen hoof lengths away from him. The monster’s stolen skin was beginning to crumple faster as he took each breath.
“So…was this your plan Doctor?” It scoffed as it took a step towards him. “If you even have one…”
The Doctor tapped a hoof to his chin in thought. “Of course I have a plan, I always have a plan. I am the man with the plan. Well…Pony with the plan.” He deadpanned. “That sounded stupid. Pony with the proposition? No. Pony with the idea? No. Pony with the plot?” He cringed. “No! No! No! Not that one! Defiantly not that one!” He smiled as he shrugged. “Well…Doesn’t matter. Anyway, I mostly wanted to stretch out my new body. It’s always tough getting new legs as it were…or in my case four new legs.” The Doctor took a step back as the Blorvin came closer.
The monster cracked a smile. “You know Doctor…It’s the dead of night…”
The stallion looked around before looking back at his opponent. “Yes…yes it is…”
“I’m much faster out of a shell then I am in one…” It commented.
“I have no doubt.” The Doctor agreed with a shrug.
“I could steal your body without hesitation.” It spat taking another step.
The Doctor smiled. “Oh? Then what’s stopping you?” The Blorvin stopped moving and went silent the question. “What? Nothing to say? I’m just a funny old Doctor out here on my own without any back up what so ever. What’s the problem?” Again he was met with silence. “Oh…I see…you’re cautious? Well, I can’t blame you. You have every right to be. All those stories you have heard of me. All true. Every single last one of them. You know what I do and what I am and that…in some small way…frightens you.” He glanced upwards before he closed his eyes. “There is one thing that the stories got wrong however. I am forgiving. I’ll give you this chance…just this one chance…Turn yourself in. Face your punishment. You can still do the right thing. You can still make up for the lives you destroyed. You don’t have to die here…”
The monster eyes grew cold. “Heh! Me?! Die?! That is a laugh Doctor!” The being scoffed as it took another step forward. “You say that as if you have authority over me Doctor! Like I said…what I have done cannot compare to what you have.” Dark tentacles began to slip from the body’s mouth and forming into the black ooze it once was. It towered over the Doctor as he stood stock still glaring up at the creature. “I’m doing this world a favor Doctor…Beings like you, need to disappear!”
“Oh really?” He smirked as he kept his eyes close. “Well…let me just ask one thing just one…” He raised his hoof in the air. “Say cheese…”
A bright light cast itself over the land and the monster screeched with pain, trying to seep back into the body it had stolen. It did not get very far however as the Doctor raised his Sonic Screwdriver towards it and, like a fishing rod, he pulled back, ripping the monster form the mare’s mouth. The green mare toppled to the ground, a shallow pained breath escaping her mouth as she laid there. The Doctor rushed to her side scanning her with the sonic and looking at the readings.
“heh…how do you like that. Set the Sonic to your bio-singuture so I could graps you withing touching. Ingenious really.” He then turned his direction back to the mare. “Don’t worry. You’re burned but not dead.” He reached inside his coat and pulled out a capsule. Lowering it into her mouth he forced her to swallow. “There…that should ease the pain for a bit. Now then…” he set the mare down gently before making his way to the black blob. “I gave you a chance. And you forced my hand…hoof…hand? Hoof?” He shrugged. “Anyway you forced me to take drastic measures.”
The blorvin cowered on the ground as he tried to pull itself out of the light. “I…Impossible…t-the sun…raising the sun now! Its…”
“Who said anything about the sun?” The Doctor looked up towards the bright sky and smiled cheekily. “Isn’t the moon lovely tonight by the way?”
The moon was shining brightly. More brilliantly then the monster had ever seen before, and it was perfectly aware of it. It did its best to crawl away with the Doctor trotting slowly behind it. It was stopped however in its tracks as it hit something clear and yellow. “What is…what is this…?” It gasped.
The Doctor Shrugged. “Don’t know. If I didn’t know any better I would have to say that it was a barrier of some kind caused by a rather advanced piece of technology. But I like to think I do know better though…” He looked behind himself. “Right?”
Behind him a brilliantly alabaster mare stood regally with head held high. Her three tone mane flowing slowly behind her with the nonexistent wind of the night. Slowly she trotted towards the Doctor and the Blorvin, a steel cold eye focused on the latter. She was tall. Taller than any pony had had met thus far. He also noticed what made her different than any of the other ponies he had met. Upon her head was the horn of a unicorn and upon her back were the wings of a pegasus.
The Doctor looked deep into her eyes, his eyebrow raiseing as he study her. “Interesting…”
If the tall white mare heard him she gave no indication. “So…this is the monster that has been threating my subjects as of late…” She inquired, her blank expression betrayed only by the coldness in her voice.
The Doctor, while small in comparison stood between the two beings. “Well…You must be the Sun Princess herself I presume. I’ve heard a bit about you from a friend of mine.”
She tuned a quick eye towards the little earth pony stallion. “Move aside Doctor…”
“Oh! You know me! That is interesting. I wonder how many times we have met.” He tapped his chin. “This is my first you see. I so hate to be out of order but what can you do?” He paused. “Which means that I won’t be leaving this for a while yet I assume. Well not that it really matters to me in the long run. Always up for a new adventure.” He paused again as Celestia raised an eyebrow. “Sorry…rambling.” He mentioned towards the black blob. “I take it you’re here for him...”
The mare looked down upon the Doctor. “Indeed, at least in part...” She looked towards the Blorvin. “I will take care of him.” Her horned shined bright covering the monster with a dim yellow aura. “You have been judged monster. For the death of four ponies and the attempted murder of two more your punishment shall be carried out forth haste and without trial according to the Equestiran Declaration.” The alicorn closed her eyes. “Do you have any last words?”
“You…” He turned to the Doctor who just stared back. “You think this is over?” It gasped. “I’m going to-!” A flash of light interrupted his speech as he abruptly disappeared from view.
“He was one of those types I see…” She turned to look back towards the Doctor. “If he had just said he was sorry, that he had felt regreat, then I wouldn’t have done what I did to him…”
The Doctor, in return, raised an eyebrow towards the mare. “And…what did you do to him… I don’t apove of killing you know, espesualy from someone all powerful as you.”
“Neither do I Doctor.” She closed her eyes. “I banished him is all.”
“Oh! Will that’s rather-“
“To the sun…”
The Doctor eyes widened before he knew it. “Really? And that’s not killing him how?”
“He shall not die, but He shall not live how he had expected. And I won’t be freeing him for a very…long…time.” She looked down towards the stallion, her eyes studying the little pony with curious interest. “Interesting.” She mused before trotting past him and towards the that was on the ground, her horn aglow as she did…something to the mare. The Doctor wasn’t quite sure but he was sure it would help.
He waved a hoof. “Anyway.” Pulling out his Sonic he scanned the bubble that surrounded him and the two mares. After he stared at it for a quick second he trotted around the bubble of yellow energy, poking and prodding it as he went. “Let’s see…Looks like a basic energy field but there are a few key points that I find interesting. Care to listen?”
She smiled lightly and nodded tending to the mare upon the ground.
“Point one. No pony is out checking to see what all the ruckus is so I would have to guess a sound damping spell of some sort since, you know, magic world in all. Point B.” he looked through the dome, pressing his face flat against it. “As I had thought. It’s more than just a barrier. It’s faint, very faint, but I see that it has a magnification element to it. Couple that with the near sun like heat you bubble gives off and you got your own personal magnifying glass powered by the moon. Very cleaver. Very cleaver indeed.”
Her smiled brightened. “You, my dear Doctor, are the clever one. You have to imagine my surprise when I find one of my subjects causing a complete, how shall I say, frakus in the courtyard below. Sending your companion in like that to gain my help, was quite the Idea. Though if you had been a few seconds too late then it would not have ended pretty for you.” She shook her head. “And you really did cut it a bit close dear Doctor. I was rather engaged when she had found me.” He raised an eyebrow inquiring her to continue. “Let’s just say that my sister and I were in the middle of the biggest pillow fight of our lives...I won by the way.”
The Doctor looked upon the mare before snickering slightly “Well, I have to thank her when I see her again. Where is she anyway? Is she ok?”
She chucked and shook her head. “Oh…she is fine Dear Doctor. As for my guards though…” Her eyes drifted away. “I need to double their training…” She looked back towards him. “I sent her off to your TARDIS. If she is still there then she would most defiantly be waiting for you.”
The Doctor chuckled before letting his laugh die down. “Right…Then off I pop. Please do take care of the little lady there. I was able to stop the blorvin from focusing on eating to chase after me. Her daughter is alright as well. I placed her in the hospital before I left so she should be there waiting for her mother. Now the mare will have to stay there for a while but what I gave her will help her by a large margin. Still she should take it slow the first couple of weeks. Doctor’s orders.”
He trotted past the mare as she released her shield and focused her magic in picking up the mother mare carefully within her magic. She had turned to face him but he was gone from sight. Her eyes soften as she closed them, readying a teleportation spell.
“So this is how it began…for you anyway. Then you…my dear Doctor…Are in for a time in a half.

6 th of Summer C.R., 12:00 a.m.
Fleur opened her eyes as hoof steps came from in front of her, a joyful smile appeared upon her lips.
“Doctor!”
“Really now Miss Fleur,” He chided as he stood in front of her. “Fur or not you will catch a death of a cold out here by yourself.”
She rushed the stallion, gripping him in a tight hug that he happily returned. After wards she released him and smacked a hoof hard across his face.
“Oy!” He yelped, rubbing his cheek. “What was that for?”
“You had me worried sick Doctor! I thought you had died or…or…”
His ears flattened a bit. “Oh…yeah…” He looked away. “Saying sorry won’t change the fact that your mad at me will it?”
She glared at him with tears slowly forming in her eyes.
“Ok, Ok! Hint taken.” He trotted past her and made his way to the TARDIS’s Doors. “How about I make it up to you then.” He smiled as he clapped his hooves together, the doors once again reacting as it creaked open just a bit. He smirked knowingly as she slipped inside with just enough room for his body to slip in and for her to not see inside out right. The sounds of his voice seemed to echo as he spoke inside the cramp looking box. “Aaaaaaannnnd, brilliant! Just look at you! That’s my girl! That. Is. My. Girl! You’ve changed the whole interface! This is just…just…Brilliant!”
Fleur stood there for a moment before slowly making her way to the doors. With a creek she pushed one open and gaped at what she saw.
The small blue box opened to a room, a large room, much too large for the proportion that the box seemed to be. As amazing as that was inside was the most remarkable. It looked as though somepony had hollowed out a tree…a very very large tree. Smooth to the touch and not a ridge out of place, it seemed to give the mare a feeling of tranquility despite her overwhelming since of astonishment. A soft white light shined from above, setting a sunny like ambiance, even warming her fur as she slowly went further inside.
In the middle of the room was a raised platform, with three slanted walkways leading to the middle of it. Some type of machine stood in the middle of it all. A large clear cylinder with a pair of horseshoes floating absentmindedly in it could be seen within the confines of the cylinder. A door on the far side of the wall could be seen leading to only Celestia knows where.
Hey mind slowly began to reboot itself after its temporary overload. Trotting out, she took a quick lap around the exterior of the box and then looked inside once again. She then did it a second time before slowly stepping inside the TARDIS itself. “I-Its…I…But…B-Bigger…inside…”
“I know right!” The Doctor agreed as she danced about the control panel. “Here, here, and here! Yes! All seems to be in working order and all systems ago!” He turned to the mare. “I know this is a lot to take in so if you have any questions, ask them now.”
“How…?”
“TARDIS. Time And Relative Dimensions In Space! T.A.R.D.I.S. TARDIS.”
“What…what does that even mean…?”
“Dimensional distortion!” Fleur looked towards the stallion with a confounded look causing the stallion to smile a bit more. “A dimension within a dimension as it were. Its like having a large box within a small box. Very complicated really.”
“I…This…this is magic…?”
“Annnnnnd no. Science. Timelord technology to be more precise.” He looked towards the screen. “Oh you’ve been busy eh! Already mapping the new area! That a girl!”
“Your…your really are an…” The Doctor smirked as Fleur processed the information and continued with another question. “Why…do you look like a…?”
“Pony?” He finished for her. “Not sure really. I think I died somehow.” He looked towards the mare. “As to how…I’m a little foggy on that bit. Anyway, I use to be bi-pedal. You know what that means right?”
She glared at the Timelord. “I’m not stupid Doctor…means one that walks on two legs.”
“Sorry, didn’t mean to offend. Just asking is all.” He coughed into his hoof. “Anyhow I use to walk on two legs, and had no hair all over my body except the top of my head.”
“If…if what you say is true then how are you able to walk around so…normally. If this really is your first time being a pony then shouldn’t you be stumbling around like a foal?”
“Once again no ideal. Might have come with the complete pony package as it were.”
She looked the stallion up and down. “So…you died and you…what was the word…regenerated into a pony yet you don’t know why?”
“Not at all. I can only guess that It has to deal with where I landed. Time and space is very tricky like that.”
As her mind processed the information the Doctor began to flip switches and push buttons, dancing around the panel like a madpony. Turning to the mare the Doctor smiled brightly. “So Fleur…where would you like to go?”
She gaped. “H-Huh?”
“I’m saying I’ll take you anywhere you want to go.”
Fleur looked around franticly. “B-But I have a home...a job. I can’t just go and explore with you…”
“I…did mention to you that this is a Time Machine right? I’ll have you there and back just in time for afternoon tea.”
The mare’s eyes bulged. “You…have got to be kidding me? Some things I am more than willing to accept but isn’t saying that this is a time machine is a bit…much?”
“I am a Timelord Miss Fleur, emphasis on the word TIME.” He smirked. “I can go anywhere in time and space. From the distance stars to unknown lands. Every piece of history and every world in the stars at my beck and call.” He griped the mares hoof and led her to the control panel. “So, where would you like to go first?”
The mare’s eyes began to sparkle at the information. She could go anywhere…everywhere. She closed her eyes and what Fancy had told those guards came to the forefront of her mind. She could…go away. She needed to get away. Far away.
“Anywhere and anytime…” She smiled as she rested her eyes on the control panel. Her eyes then flicked upwards to the Doctor, or more importantly, to his attire. “Well…before any of that do you think we could make a quick stop. There’s a certain pony I need to see…”

6 th of Summer C.R., 12:10 a.m.
Fancy watched with unamused disdain as the wind around the blue box kicked up and the box itself began to slowly disappear. The Stallion’s anger began to mount every second until the box completely disappeared. “I almost had her. If she had listened to me then…”
“See…like I said. Like a thief in the night to take what is yours…And your pet fell right into his clutches”
Fancy didn’t even turn to face the one who had spoken. “Where did they go…?
“Don’t know. Could be anywhere or any when. Heard to tell when it comes to the Doctor.” The voice’s hoof fell upon Fancy’s shoulder. “That’s why I need your help. I want to stop him as much as you do but alas I do not have the funds. That’s where you come in my little pony.”
“Tell me what you need and I will get it…Master…”
