To find the Pony in the Picture
Everything was blurry. The only thing I could hear was a constant beep. The taste in my mouth was that of blood. The stench was of death. And the feeling in the air was tension and calmness, like after a hurricane. The only thing that made sense right then and there was a picture I was holding. The picture was mare with a yellow coat, pink hair, blue eyes, and wings. Something about that picture was familiar, but I couldn't remember. I couldn't remember anything.
I decided to look around at my surroundings to try to remember something. When the blurriness, constant beep, taste of blood, and death smell went away I saw everything. I was on a battlefield. A "finished" battle field I would say. Everypony was dead some weren't even ponies, but wierd bug ponies. But I guess it doesn't matter any more, the battlefield was covered in blood and bodies. It doesn't matter any more. Nothing mattered except that picture. The picture of that mare, that particular mare, was telling me something. It was calling me like pickles. Pickles are as delicious as this picture telling me to go on a great journey. A journey to find this "Pony in the Picture".
But, first I should at least know who I am and what I look like. I looke at my fur, my back, and felt my forehead for a horn. After all that I discovered that I was a dark blue pegasus. My personality was...literally insane. But I guess I was sane enough to know I was insane, if you get my drift. After my mental inspection I looked at the object around my neck, it was a dog tag. And it had my name on it: Shade. So my name was Shade.
After all of those inspections of myself I looked at the "Pony in the Picture" one last time before and I took and oath. To find the "Pony in the Picture"...and eat as much pickles as I possibly could in one lifetime.
