The unwanted news

Snow falling down from the sky was a sign that winter was there, that means hearths warmth day was on its way. Twilight was reading a book next to the warm fire she lit she soon hears the door open, she looks to see a stallion with a dark blue coat and a electric style mane wearing a black scarf on trot in, he smiles at her and places a bag he was carrying on a table and trots over to her and nuzzles her.

“Welcome home, my love.” Twilight said nuzzling him back he gives her a quick kiss before replying.

“I’m glad to be home since it’s getting more cold outside.” He sits on his hind legs and gets to her level and nuzzles up next to her and levitates a pizza box over and opens and cuts out two peaces for both of them.

“I went and bought dinner for us since it was after 6.” He said before taking a bite out of his.

“Mm thank you honey I was feeling hungry.” After they ate a equal share of the pizza Shadow laid next to her and closed his eye’s Twilight placed her head on his.

“How about we take a bath then call it a night Shadow?” Shadow opens his eye’s and smiles at her and nods they get up and walked to the bathroom. He started the water to get it nice and warm once then Shadow climbed in and Twilight joined him.

After their bath Twilight went and brushed her mane, and prepared for bed. She trotted in the room to see Shadow fully dried off and blow drying his mane she turns it off with her magic.

“Ready for bed Shadow Magic?” Shadow turned around he nodded and uses his magic to lift the covers,they climb in and he releases the covers they fall on both of them and Shadow blows out the candle as Twilight cuddles up next to him and smiles to feel his fur against her.

“I love you, Shadow magic.” Twilight whispered, she feels him pull her closer and kiss her cheek.

“I love you too, Twilight Sparkle.” Soon they fall into a deep sleep in each others hooves.

Twilight wakes the next morning to hear Shadow talking to somebody on the phone, she trots down and listens in on the conversation.

“I know, but it’s almost hearths warming eve. No I don’t want to lose my record label, ok bye.” Shadow turns around to see Twilight.

“Who was that Shadow?” she asked with a worried tone.

“That was my manager, he wants me and the rest of the guys in Manehatten to record an album.” Twilight was shocked to hear that and quickly runs up and hugs him.

“But it’s almost Hearth Warming day why now when it’s our first Hearths warming  together?”

Shadow holds her and a few hours later the rest of the girls along with Rose Luck and Red Heart and there colt friends were at the train station.

“This is not fair why did their manager have to call now at a really great time.” Red Heart said holding a stallion with green in his black mane.

“We don’t know but we’ll make sure we’re back in time for Hearths Warming we promise.” A White stallion with a mow hawk with one part black and the other red, Rarity trots up and hugs him.

“Skull don’t make a promise you know you possibly can’t keep sweetie.” Rarity holds him tight trying not to cry. Twilight trots up to Shadow and nuzzles him while holding back tears.

“Just promise you’ll be back soon, I want this year to be Special.” Shadow lifts her head up with a hoof and kisses her.

“I promise Twilight I will.” The whistle blew and the stallions boarded and took there seats as the train pulled out, they left behind waving goodbye.

Two weeks past and the girls were trying to stay strong. Twilight of course was more sad she turned on the TV Shadow bought and to see a music video of him and his friends playing a song.

The song ended with a Shadow in his mask and a tear running down his face which made Twilight want to cry to see all the band members like that. She turned off the TV and went for a walk she makes her way to Sweet apple acres where AppleJack was working in the in the fields and notices her friend.

“Howdy Twilight, you feeling ok?” She asks.

“Yeah I just saw a music video of the boys and at the end they all had tears in their eye’s.” She explains

“Well I never knew those boys had feelings when they played.” AppleJack tried to make a joke.

“Can’t you see it AppleJack? They’re upset that their not near us have you ever seen Crimson shed a tear?” Twilight raises her voice a little.

“No I haven’t Twi all of us are upset that they’re gone.”

After an hour of talking Twilight trots home and lays in her bed with her hoof in the empty spot that her husband laid in, she dozed off. The next morning woke up throwing, she grabs a pregnancy test and uses it. After a hour she checks it to a + on it.
