“Heya, Rarity!” Sweetie Belle called out, excitement positively overflowing from her voice. “Mom and dad said I could stay over here tonight!”
Rarity, who had emerged from her work den at the sound of her sister’s voice, smiled happily down at her sister. “Oh, Sweetie, that’s excellent news! I’m nearly finished with an order, so after I hurry up and get this done, I can spend a bit of time with you, alright?”
Sweetie Belle nodded her head, her excitement refusing to diminish. She followed Rarity happily to her work space, and settled down on the couch to watch her sister work fervently through her latest project. It was a vest of some sort, a beautiful cardinal red with a gold trimming. Even though Sweetie had seen her sister work many times, she was still amazed at how the thread danced back and forth through the cloth, how Rarity managed to measure so perfectly, and how perfect she seemed to be able to do her work.
Rarity herself was doing this piece rather effortlessly; vests had always come somewhat naturally to her, and this one wasn’t terribly complex. She hummed to herself as her magic grasped the needle, effortlessly sliding it along to create stitching and seam-lines. Turning around, she looked over at her sister, sitting there, large eyes staring lovingly at her. Rarity watched as her little sister shifted a bit, casting her best features into light; even though she was yet to transcend to marehood, the little filly look stunning. Her body was sleek and tender, her flanks were quite well-rounded...
Rarity let herself slip into the sight of Sweetie Belle for just a moment too long, and sharp pain in her hoof reminded her of her task. Gasping slightly, the vest fell to the floor in a flash of red and gold, and Rarity looked down at her hoof, cringing. The spot where the needle had jabbed into her throbbed, and it began to redden near a color of the vest.
“Oh no!” Sweetie Belle said, voice cracking slightly. “You’re hurt!”
“It’s nothing really, Sweetie,” Rarity said, trying her best not to blow this out of proportion. The adrenaline spike from the needle prick had not died down just yet, and the suppression of the emotional surge made Rarity feel somewhat weak. Her legs wobbled a bit as she staggered to her fainting couch, her drama queen instincts screaming for her knock Sweetie off so that she could throw herself onto it. Fortunately, her compassion and generosity won over this trivial emotion, and she merely flopped down on the couch, her head resting on Sweetie’s lap and her heart fluttering with adrenal remnants.
“Are you sure?” Sweetie asked, staring down into her sister’s sapphire eyes. Rarity gazed back into her sibling’s emerald ones, and her mouth fell somewhat agape. Sweetie held a beauty that only one her age could hope to hold before having it torn away by the ticking of time.
It had been quite some time since Rarity had discovered her feelings for Sweetie Belle. At first, she feared that she was attracted to foals in general, but after looking around Ponyville for a bit, she found that not to be the case at all. Something about her sister in particular attracted the fashionista to her; whether it was being around her and raising her almost as much as her parents did, but with still enough distance from her to maintain that air of romance, or whether it was a bit of her own narcissism that she so desperately hid coming through, seeing a younger Rarity in her sister. She did not know the cause, but she knew that the feelings were there, and she had best not neglect them.
“Oh yes, I think I just might need to rest for a moment,” Rarity reassured her sister, knowing that she was overreacting by far. Still, it let her lay a head on her sister’s lap, and feel the warmness of her body. Glancing sideways, she saw her sister’s nethers barely visible as she sat on the couch, the cushions obscuring them from view. Rarity could feel her cheeks flushing, and a warmness begin to grow inside her. Sweetie Belle just continued to stare down at her, completely oblivious to the older mare’s intentions.
She had already advanced on her sister somewhat, but it was only in the form of kisses; she had never gone any further, and she knew that she couldn’t cross that threshold. She had to keep some things sacred, after all.
“Alright, as long as you’re sure,” Sweetie Belle said, smiling her innocent, giddy smile. Rarity smiled back up at her, but it was a smile of great unease, one that came from a mare uncertain of the boundaries she had set.
“Well,” Rarity said, deciding to compromise. “I suppose a kiss to make it better wouldn’t hurt...”
Sweetie Belle’s smile widened. The promise of spending time with her from earlier had implied that they would be kissing, of course, but Sweetie Belle felt a bit of lovely change from having the pain prompt her to help her sister. Not only would she get to kiss her, but she would also be nurturing her! It made her feel very useful.
Sweetie Belle lifted Rarity’s head from her lap with her tiny hooves, and brought her mouth to her sister’s. The hot air from their collective breaths intermingled with each other, and Sweetie Belle felt the odd feeling she got in her gut ever time right before she kissed Rarity. It was almost like anticipation, yet... not. She knew that anticipation had much to do with it, but that couldn’t be the only factor. No, there was a heat, a weird fuzziness inside her that also seemed to build as the two grew closer.
And then they kissed.
Rarity shivered a bit as the two’s lips connected. Rarity’s bottom lip went partially into her sister’s mouth, her top lip likewise going over Sweetie’s top lip. They brushed up against one another, Rarity turning so that instead of laying on her back down on the couch, she was facing her belly towards the couch’s back. She lay on her side, pushing herself ever so slightly into her younger sister’s mouth. Their tongues brushed up against each other, but they never left their own mouths; Rarity saw that act to be somewhat uncouth, and wasn’t ready to subject Sweetie Belle (or herself) to such things. However, considering the threshold she was about to cross, Rarity wondered if they would soon be exchanging tongues.
Sweetie Belle loved the feeling of her sister pressing into her. She loved her soft lips on her own, she loved how they pressed up against each other, hugging and caressing. She loved everything about what they did, except for one tiny little thing: Rarity insisted that this stay a secret, and that she do this with nopony else. Rarity said that this was only for mares and stallions that she loved, and certainly she loved her friends; why couldn’t she go and share her experiences with Rarity to them, or even exchange kisses with Apple Bloom and Scootaloo themselves? Sweetie wanted to share this lovely feeling with as many ponies as she could, but even if she were just reserving them for ponies she loved, Rarity made it clear not to kiss any other pony but her in the way they did.
So, Sweetie enjoyed what she had. She continued to kiss her sister Rarity, her tiny white hooves running through the long, elegant mane as she held her sister’s head up. Even when Rarity turned so that she no longer needed to hold her head up, she continued to caress the mare in front of her that way, her silky mane feeling so good on her hooves.
Rarity was the first to break the kiss. She pulled away from Sweetie Belle, a thin trail of saliva connection the mouths of the two. Sweetie opened her eyes, and looked at Rarity, who looked at her back, giving her a small smile. The older sister slowly moved off the couch, and beaconed with a hoof for Sweetie to follow.
“Come, Sweetie,” she said in a weird tone, as if she were not talking entirely to Sweetie Belle. “We are going upstairs, to the bedroom.”
“Ooh,” Sweetie Belle said, hopping to her hooves. She was thoroughly intrigued. “Are you gonna do more kissing?”
Rarity giggled weakly. “Of a sort, yes.”
Rarity lead the way upstairs to the bedroom, Sweetie Belle close behind. The little filly whistled happily all the way, excited for the prospect of more kissing in a somewhat more comfortable scenario.
Rarity, however, was not whistling. She was silent, the grim prospect of the threshold boundary hanging over her head. Yet still, she pressed on forward, and the two were at the bedroom soon enough.
Sweetie Belle hopped onto the bed, laying down on her back, and Rarity hopped up next to her. She gazed down at the little filly belly, a bit round from the chubbiness of foalhood, and her vagina that lay below it. Rarity bit her lower lip, closed her eyes, the put a hoof on Sweetie’s inner thigh.
“What are you doing, Rarity?” Sweetie Belle asked curiously, shivers running through her little bodies. She had little idea as to what was going on, but she felt that she liked it.
Rarity did not speak, but instead, she placed her mouth to Sweetie’s stomach, and planted a kiss right below the center. Sweetie Belle giggled, and Rarity traced a line of kisses down to right above Sweetie’s crotch. Rarity hovered for a moment, debating whether or not she should cross the boundary.
She slowly put her mouth to Sweetie’s slit, her tongue prodding around to find the young one’s clit. Once she found it, she began to suckle gently on the joy buzzer of an organ. “Rarity?” Sweetie Belle called after her, completely confused.
Rarity splashed cold water onto her face in the bathroom, cringing from the contrast of the temperatures in her previously flushed face. Looking at herself in the mirror, she could see that she was crying. What had driven her to this? What had driven her to violating her own sister for sexual pleasure, for her own filthiness? She, the mare who despised uncleanliness of the physical, was willing to be the dirties of the psychological. She closed her eyes for a brief moment, a few more tears being shed as she thought over what she had done.
This kiss, she admitted to herself, had been pushing it. But it wasn’t as if she could just ignore how truly lovely her sister looked, and in complete honesty, she loved her. She loved her more than one loves a sister, and more than one loves a lover. She loved Sweetie Belle as both, and that damned age kept coming back to haunt her. Was she really a no good foalphile, lusting after fillies and colts? What thresholds were she have to cross in oder for her to eventually go too far?
Rarity splashed a bit more cold water onto her face, and looked back at the reflection. She looked so tired...
Sweetie Belle was still laying on the bed when Rarity returned. Her eyes brightened as her sister trotted back into the room, her head hung in a solemn sort of way.
“Sweetie?” Rarity said, her voice somewhat lower than usual. “We need to talk.”
