Prelude:

"Can anyone tell me the name of this weapon?" Professor Marc asked his class, his eyes scanned the room before centering on a very pale red headed teen up in the back row's, he could just see the top's of his wings.

"It's a Mark II Mar's pattern Automatic Gauss rifle, sir," The boy said after raising his hand, his red eyes unsettling the professor.

"Good job Mr.." he drifted off into a question, his gaze questioning.

"Hunter, Max hunter," the boy replied with a grin as he looked at a girl a few seats down, she too was a skyborn but her Wings were a pinkish while max's were a dark reddish color. 'So, this is a classroom, not much really,' he thought, he was cut out of his thoughts by the bell ringing, signifying it was a lesson change. He stood up and walked down to the female Skyborn, "Hi," he said as he walked up to her.

"oh, hi," she said with a blush, "my name's Ikaros," she said, her wings wrapped around her like a blanket.

"My names Max, Max hunter," he said with a grin, he laughed when she blushed at his grin, "So Ikaros, are you doing anything tonight?" he asked.

"I-I'm A-a-actually n-no-not do-doing a-any-anything t-ton-night," she stuttered out, embarrassed.

"That's cool, wanna go to the movie's tonight?" he asked with a small smile and a blush.

"Sure," she replied with a small smile before walking out the class room, Max just stood there staring at the door before sighing and walking through it.

7 Months later:

"Hey Ikaros," Max said as he sat beside his girlfriend, his wing wrapped around her shoulder protectively.

"Hey Max, how was weapons practice," she asked as she lean't into him.

"it was fine, now how goes the training at the field hospital," he asked  before a Large explosion shook the Space station, Emergency sirens started wailing and students started filing out into the hall, another explosion rocked the station.

"Follow me Ikaros," he said as he led her to an armory.

when he got to the armory he inputted his code and entered, immediately heading to the armor rack and Equipping a Skyborn Heavy assault suit with Ikaros wearing a Light Combat medic outfit, he then went to the gun rack and selected out a MA5B Gauss Rifle with a scope and a M932 Rail pistol, he grabbed a bag from a closet and stuffed it with ammo, attachments and explosives along with medical supplies, food and water. Ikaros grabbed a Light MP5 SMG that had been upgraded with Rail gun tech and a small M932 Rail pistol, she had a bag filled with armor mods, ammo, medical supplies, communicators and binoculars.

"Max, this way," Ikaros said as she led him over to a escape pod waiting for 2 more survivors, before they could make it the pod blew up, "Fuck," Shouted Max as a piece of shrapnel hit his armor and knocked him back.

"I heard something," They heard someone shout before the hooves hitting metal reached there ears as a squad of ponies rounded the corner.

"Max, incoming," she shouted as she grabbed her gun off the ground and started to fire at the enemies, her gun making little pomfs as each bullet left the barrel.

*Bang* *bang* Max's gun rang as his gun fired and kicked into his shoulder, *Thump* a bullet impacted into his helmet, knocking him out as the Nanites in his suit ate the gun and stored it's blueprints into the nanoloather.

"You will pay for that," Ikaros screeched as her wings flared and she started to spray and pray from the hip, "Die you bastards," she Shrieked before feeling something her helmet and she was knocked out, her gun being devoured by Nanites.

POV Change:

Crimson wings was a blood red pegasus mare in her late 30's, her hair was grey with silver streaks. And currently... she was pissed, these two humans had managed to kill 5 ponies in her squad, including her best friend corporal Flash n dash, she turned around when she heard the door open to see her Commander.

"Sir, shouldn't you be in the med bay?" she asked her superior as she snapped off a sloppy salute.

"At ease Sergeant," he answered as he walked towards a chair, his hooves clopping on the ground with each step, "and as I told the nurse, I'm perfectly fine," he finished as he sat down with a large sigh of relief, "What can you gather on the targets?"

"Well, they're young, that's for sure, pretty standard flyer except for difference in weapon's," she said as she started pacing back and forth, "They were larger and more devastating then the previous Mark's,"

"This is an interesting development," Her commander grunted, "Do go on,"

"Ahem, okay they are using slightly more advanced armor systems, their guns were devoured by something when they dropped it, this has been happening more and more, almost as it's a countermeasure to keep there tech a secret," she listed off before a guard burst in.

"Sir, sergeant, come quick, the prisoners have awoken," the guard said before he ran off, his hooves tapping the ground as he vanished around a corner, Crimson and the commander following him, they passed a few more guards and officers as they jogged. Crimsons thoughts were on what they looked like beneath their masks.

"Commander, has anypony ever seen a human with there helmets off," she asked through each breath.

"No, no pony has," he answered before they made it to the jail cell, the human male was in one cell and the female was in the opposite to the male. the male was snarling at every pony while the female just sat there dead calm, the room shook as the male leaped at the bars and punched the metal bars, bending them slightly.

"Come at me you bastards," the male growled at them as he punched the bar's again.

"Quiet prisoner, you will state your name and rank," An interrogator said as he used a spell to punch the male in the face, his only reply was to be knocked out by the female as he was standing in front of her cell while facing the males cell, the female then grabbed the keys from the Pony and hid them in one of her wing feathers.

"Name: Max Hunter Rank: Spec ops," he said as he punched the bars. SUCCESS, his fest smashed through the bars before grabbing the collar of a guard and smashing his head into the bars, knocking out the poor pony.

'this is gonna be a long session,' Crimson thought as she looked at the male struggle against a unicorns magic.
