Celestia descended from on high, casting great magicks… She rolled back time and changed the shape of herself and her children. Instead of walking on four hooves, she and they now walked on two… Supposedly, this allowed earth ponies to devise things with their new appendages, giving them a much greater capacity to manipulate their environment. So Celestia again withdrew. Equestria began anew.
