He was an odd colt, Pinky thought. But, she liked him anyway… he kinda' reminded her of herself, in some ways. Still, there was something a bit… off… about him. And the way he had phrased the request almost gave her the creeps. Nonetheless, it was a simple request, and it seemed innocuous enough, so she complied.
"Okie dokie loki!" Pinkie said, sliding the package across the Cake's countertop.
"Oh, and one more thing… um… don't tell anypony about this, OK?" the colt asked, looking around behind him as he did so.
"Okie dokie loki" Pinkie repeated, tilting her head a bit as she did so.
"Um… promise? Pinkie Promise?" the colt asked.
"Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!" Pinkie responded, performing the ritual pantomime as she did so.
"OK… thanks, Pinkie!" the colt said as he turned to leave.
Sitting in his bedroom, the colt gazed towards the far wall, but his eyes were strangely unfocused. Sweat beads were beginning to form on his brow, as his exertion mounted.
Almost there… he could practically feel the latex; smooth, cold, and yielding. Almost… there… he pushed himself a little farther… just a bit more… but, then it was too much, too tightly focused. The resultant explosion wasn't loud, but it did pose a bit of a problem.
Dejectedly looking down at the sticky mess now on the floor, the colt sighed. He'd better get this cleaned up before somepony came in and caught him.
It had taken a while to work up to this point, but he had done so and now relished the thoughts of what he was about to do. The feelings rising in him made it difficult to concentrate, but he persevered, pushing them down - it wouldn't do to have an… accident… at this point; he had almost exhausted the supply he had gotten from Pinkie, and didn't want to have to go back for more. Not yet, anyway.
Dropping the syringe on the stainless-steel counter with a muffled clank, the colt smiled. His preparations were almost complete… he just needed to tie the knot. He could practically feel the smooth rubber in his telekinesis as he did so… a feeling he'd always liked.
Rounding the corner, he spotted his quarry, looking in the opposite direction. There they were… young, innocent, full of life. He could feel his anticipation mounting, desire rising in his chest. This was going to be… delicious.
Just then, a third filly joined them. The colt couldn't believe his luck… all three of them at once! As the third filly began to remove her helmet, she started to turn towards the colt, causing him to duck under a nearby bush to avoid getting caught. After all this work, it just wouldn't do to have things end… prematurely.
He waited. Thinking of the last time he had had a close call, he hunkered down under the bush. Patience was a virtue that he had learned from that incident… an incident that he was well aware that he was lucky to get away from unscathed. With a inward sigh, he pushed the memory from his thoughts - this was the time for the here and now, not the time for past recriminations.
He needed to move out from behind the bush - it was completely blocking his view, and he knew that when the time to strike arrived, he would only have a moment to do this properly. He needed to see his target… the risk of discovery was just something that he'd have to deal with.
Sliding forwards on his belly, he slowly moved a branch very slightly to the side, careful to not bring undesired attention to himself. Not yet, anyway… he'd get plenty of attention from those fillies in just a moment.
It was hazardous in here, under the bush. Sharp twigs threatened to tear the taut rubber, ruining everything. Heedful of the hazard, the colt reached out with a hoof to clear the path. Heedful, but not enough… one of the twigs snapped, making him cringe. He could almost taste the adrenaline running in his system, and was beginning to wonder why the fillies before him hadn't heard the pounding in his chest. So close… so close… but luck was on his side today, and the twig bounced to the side harmlessly.
Finally able to see thru the bush, he surveyed the scene confronting him. They all had their backs to him now, with their heads together - knowing them, mostly likely engaged in the planning some sort of conspiracy. The filly on the left had her left-rear hoof on her scooter, and the helmet she normally wore was hanging from the handlebars, her left-front hoof on top of the helmet, balancing the vehicle. The filly on the right had a bow in her mane, and it bobbed up and down ever so enticingly as her head moved while she spoke.
The time to strike had struck… and now so would he.
With a surge of magical energy, he thrust forwards his telekinesis, feeling the rubber and it's squishy contents respond under his influence. He had practiced this many times - getting the details just so was critical for this to work. Too much force, or not enough, or too sharp of a shove; and all would be for naught. Accelerating to almost a blur in the space of a few feet, the purple streak closed the distance in but a fraction of a second, and then struck.
Anticipation. Desire. Perhaps even a bit of vengeance mixed in… all these and more ran thru the colt in that moment. But, most of all, was a feeling of mirth. Mirth that he had finally gotten them. Mirth that after all the work, all the planning, all the practicing, all of the failures, it had come down to this moment - and it had worked. Yes, this was indeed going to be delicious.
Literally.
"GAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!" shouted the three fillies as the grape juice filled water balloon slammed into Sweetie Belle's head, drenching her and splashing grape juice all over the sides of Scootaloo and Apple Bloom in a purple haze.
"Ha HAA! Sopping wet Cutie Mark Crusaders, YEAH!" shouted the colt as he burst from under the bush.
"SNNNIIIIIIPPPPPPSSSSSS!!!!!" shouted the three fillies, turning on their assailant, as he fell down in gales of laughter.
"Oh, well… at least it's not tree-sap-flavored this time…" Scootaloo said a moment later, as she licked her chin.
"Yeah, but Scoot, now we have to go to school with purple heads for like a week! Grape juice stains, you know?!?" Sweetie Belle said.
"A week? Ah' you sure? It won't just come out in the bath?" Apple Bloom said, looking at her friend quizzically.
"Um… yeah. Never mind how I know…" Sweetie Belle said, looking down…
