They pasted Sonic’s house just as Amy grabbed one of his tails and stomped up the small path that led to Sonic and Tail’s house. “Sonic!”, she yelled “Mr. Tails here thinks you don’t like me, prove him wrong” she remarked as sonic just sat there looking like and idiot “uh… actually I’m going to need you to let him go so he can meet the new girl” he mumbled  as he stepped away from the couch. Tails eyes widened as he saw someone sitting on it. Tails was speechless as she stood up. “ hello” she said nervously  the first thing tails noticed was how pale she was almost totally white then he looked at her eyes they were an icy blue. She was not mean at all. Heck she was more shy than he was she tried to hide in her bangs. Tails walked over to her he had thought her hair was gray but he noticed as he got closer that it was a shining silver. She looked at tails and showed a tiny smile. She stopped hiding as Amy threw her hammer out the window but fell back when she ran up to her and threatened her that if she ever tried to be with sonic she would see the hammer then the moon. Sonic interrupted “okay now Amy try to be nice she is more shy than tails is.” then he muttered to him self “figures egghead blew up the only home she has ever known.” “ I never got your name” the girl looked Mako. He commented “ that’s actually a really pretty name.” Amy cut in asking “ and just what are you mako some kind of dog cause I wouldn’t be surprised.” mako let out a whimpering “ arctic wolf” Amy laughed at that “what kind of animal is that, there is only one kind of wolf the wolf that lives in woods and you my little liar are certainly not one I mean what kind of tail if that its fluffier that tail‘s” she stopped laughing when she noticed that mako was surrounding her self with a dark blue aurora as she cried. Before anyone could stop her she was gone “Amy that wasn’t nice” sonic said before leaving the house to try and find her, with tails following his heart skipping beats at the thought of egg man capturing her, unfortunately it had she had teleported to the wrong place! Mako worried this looked nothing like the meadow she liked she ran when to robots started coming towards her but one of them grabbed her and they left carrying her with them she tried teleporting but it didn’t work she found herself at the feet of the very man who had destroyed her home.   he brought a necklace. “ now either you wear this or die simple as that..” she had to meet tails and besides it was to small to hold any thing so she took it resentfully she then ran out no one followed her she then teleported to sonic and tails to ask them about the necklace. She tried to take it off and got a powerful shock almost knocking her out. She eventually found the two resting in the shade she walked over to them and told them the story and tried to remove it getting yet another shock she went at it again it came off as she passed out under the tree. Sonic nudged her confirming she out. tails picked her up by her front paws a fiery red tail fell next her other one. Tails was in so much shock he almost dropped her “ S-S-S-Sonic you might want to see this” tails explained as he noticed her fur turning black quite slowly as the sun went down “ uh oh” they said in unison “quick to the house” sonic yelled picking them both up and running to his house he looked out the window as the black met her forehead they noticed something odd it was speeding up when the moon was fully in the sky. Mako looked at her self then looked at them “ she then ran away before sonic grabbed her tail “hey sonic you think she has dark Gaia like you and never got rid of it” tails remarked. “ I don’t know it does look a lot like it, even her fur looks same only black and” he said before tails cut in saying “ she looks just as gorgeous as she did before this” tails clamped his hand over his mouth as Mako turned a red so bright it was easy to see “thanks” she said “ and I’m afraid tails is right how did you get rid of it any way, the darkness I mean?" "long story but I will explain it when we get back in the mean time you get some rest I’ll find someone to help get you home safe” then he took off no sooner had Mako fallen asleep on tail’s shoulder than he heard a noise tails looked around but saw nothing he closed his eyes when the mystery person came out of the shadows “well tails I see you got a girlfriend” a hedgehog that looked like shadow only black with dark blue stripes said “ what do you want Morgano and she’s not my girlfriend…I have not asked her out yet” he whispered the last part. margano chuckled “ what do I want hmm let me see… revenge, the girl, oh and you, as hostages sonic will fall right into my little trap he wont see the blade coming he picked them up and ran to the darkest corner of the forest. There was an old apartment building he put tails in one room and Mako in another then ran a note to sonic’s house that read in the old apartment building in the forest is where they are. Minutes later sonic got back and read the letter “its getting dark we better hurry Mako will wake up pretty soon and I don’t want her to be there when she does” he told his friend silver. “um why? the way you describe her she does not seem dangerous at all” silver mentioned. “I left out a teensy little detail. She is a were wolf and she fell asleep in the woods how do you think her waking up in a strange place is going to affect her?” sonic said with a hint of annoyance in his tone. Silver teleported them there with out another word. Back at the building tails opened the door and tip toed into Mako’s room “ Mako… Mako wake up we have to get out of here” he whispered. She woke up and looked at him her white fur darkening and her claws getting longer her silver hair became night blue. She looked behind tails “where are we and why is sonic’s evil twin standing in the door way staring at me like I just said I needed to eat some ants?” she asked. “so sleeping beauty finally wakes up” Morgano growled. At the obviously deliberately offensive remark Mako got up and grazed his cheek with her claws. “ are  you calling me lazy mister” before punching him in the gut “maybe I am maybe I’m not but if you want to play like that then I’ll gladly join in” he said before grabbing her tail and throwing her into the wall. She only got madder and got right back up and punched him in the face then paid him back in kind by throwing him through the door. He ran at her grabbed her and slammed her into the wall hard enough to cause her to fall in defeat tails ran to her side and told her not to worry, absent mindedly stroking her head as she whimpered she had never had that happen “ I’m scared “she whispered as she shook tails looked up to see Morgano smirking at them “you lasted longer than I thought you would but I still beat you” tails noticed sonic and silver behind Morgano. Silver lifted him out of the way while picking up Mako to they walked out and once they were far enough silver dropped him and teleported back to sonic’s house Mako got up weekly and the minute she fell asleep all three of them went out side “I call first dibs on asking her out first” tails said “ hey bro there was no competition I have Amy to worry about and silver likes blaze” sonic said smiling “honestly you worry to much” silver commented. “I do not I just really like her” tails retorted. “yeah yeah” silver smirked. “ speaking of which, don’t you have a date with blaze?” sonic smiled mischievously. “ OH SHOOT!!!!” silver dashed down the steps. “works every time except this time its for real” sonic told tails. Tails followed sonic inside and went to his room snuggling under the covers but he could not sleep there was a lot on his mind he saw a swirling vortex. He ran to sonic’s room “ sonic wake up” he said as he shook his friend awake “should we tell Mako?” he asked “no but I will get the others he called every one that would be helpful and the stepped through tails quietly grabbed Mako and carried her through suddenly they were in a land with… “TALKING UNICORNS, PONYS, AND PEGUSI!?!” Amy shouted waking up Mako “huh what is she shouting about?” she whimpered. Blaze looked at Mako with concern as she was still in were wolf form “um Mako its day why aren’t you changing back” tails asked her “ why am I not… I need a mirror” tails ran in to a house grabbed some unicorns mirror and handed it to her. One look at the mirror and Mako screamed “okay which one of you ruffians stole my mirror… AHHHHHHHHH GOODNESS DARLINGS WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO YOUR COFURES? I NEED TO GET YOU INSIDE AND FAST BEFORE ANY PONYELSE SEES YOU” she pushed them in side and told blaze and Amy they were fine to go outside once she was done with every one else she threw a new dress to Mako and told her to try it on she looked at the white sequin dress “uh what’s your name” sonic asked “ you mean you have not heard of me I am famous all around equestria I am the most stunning unicorn in all of equestria Rarity” the unicorn replied “okay is there a library around here where I find some records” tails asked “oh yes my friend twilight the princess’s prized pupil lives there here’s a map my sister made she levitated it over to them they all snuck out Mako looked out tails “um do I look okay” she questioned. “yeah oh and I wanted to ask you this will you go out with me” he bit his lip “I thought you would never ask” Mako hugged tails “and the answer is yes” she whispered in his ear. “well if the little romance party is done I would like to know how to get out of here all the cheerfulness is making me sick I got kicked in the face by some blond orange pony just for telling her sister that she does not have a special talent.” a familiar voice said “you were rude to applejack’s little sister” rarity gasped “and a dragon got in my way while I was talking to some unicorn so I threw him in the trash” shadow said “you hurt my little spiky wikey now I will rip you to pieces rarity ran at him and shadow took a hoof to the eye then rarity broke in karate like she did with the changlings that had attacked a few months ago. “you should not have done that” shadow growled “ hey rarity I got the… um I will come back later” a yellow pegasus with pastel pink hair had came in “no flutter shy just put them with my supplies closet” the pegusus walked over then she saw the other animals an her eyes lit up “new comers and they’re different kinds of animals” she put the stuff away and she flew over she landed and introduced her self “ um why is rarity fighting him” she asked tails “ he hurt some one called spike” tails explained “he did that’s it rarity step aside” she ordered as she trotted up to shadow “ you big bully just because your bigger does not mean you can do stuff like that and no matter how big you are YOU. DO. NOT. HURT. MY. FRIENDS!!!” she finished her lecture off with her power the stare shadow just rolled his eyes and flicked her out the door “what a loser she thinks that glaring at me will work she could never scare any body” a boom followed by a rainbow colored circled spread over Pony Ville “what was that” sonic asked rarity “rainbow dash’s sonic rain boom she is the self proclaimed and world know fastest flyer and best young flyer rainbow dash flew through the door dripping and shook off a small rainbow appearing over her “who are the new guys, are they fast, have they heard of me, are any of them awesome, cool, and radical, or do I need to make them 20% cooler?” she said “slow down one question at a time we have heard of you I am fast and no you don’t need to make me cooler” sonic replied “ sweet this is going to be so awesome want to race I’ll see you at the finish line sweet apple acres just follow the rainbow trail.” she sped out and sure enough there was a rainbow trail. sonic sped out the door soon he caught up with her I have to go faster she flew as fast as she could but did not see the tree branch her wing hit it at full speed “oh no oh no… HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!” she shouted as she lost altitude so fast she lost consciousness. Sonic ran to a farm in the distance carrying her he had caught her before she hit the ground he knocked on the door. An orange pony opened the door “ rainbow oh ahm mighty gracious to you fer savin her if we lost her we couldn’t use the elements of harmony and then were would we be. Big Macintosh tell every on to get their and rainbow’s element” she shouted as another pony ran out to tell them. Soon every one had their element and was at rainbows side “ ready girls” twilight asked “ready then let s hope this works twilights horn lit up as their elements glowed including rainbow dash twilight unfolded her wings her eyes went white and rainbow started to heal then regain consciousness. She folded her wings and her eyes went back to normal rainbow dash looked at them “um twilight why are we wearing our elements” “you hurt your wing” sonic said “then you fell and passed out I caught you and your really pretty in your sleep and pretty fast you might have beat me if you had not hurt your wing.” he said with out noticing it. Amy’s jaw dropped “its getting late and we don’t even know where we can sleep” tails interrupted “you can stay at my place” rainbow said “its got tons of spare rooms” she added “ okay” sonic decided. She took several trips flying them up to her cloud mansion. On the last trip she led the to their rooms then went to her own room put on her pajamas and them minuet she was on he bed out like a light. The next day she woke up to see sonic looking at her “sonic I’m sleeping besides I need to change and fix my mane and-” she was interrupted when sonic hugged her she pulled away blushing a deep red “I will leave you to do all that just don’t go all rarity on me” sonic grinned. He walked out closing the door. Rainbow dash put her hair in a pony tail and put on some short and a tee she picked up the make up kit rarity gave her and put on a light pink lip gloss “ugh never thought I would use this but it does look nice” she said to herself she went down “whose a good cook breakfast smells good” “that would be me” tails said rainbow dash looked at the table waffles eggs hash browns and bacon” rainbow dash ran up and knocked on all the doors sonic opened his “hey breakfast is ready get down stairs and have some” rainbow told him she then went down stairs grabbed some plates, utensils, glasses, and milk and juice. Every one got down just as she finished setting up her friends came down she then called her boyfriend ,soaring. “hi soaring so where is this surprise date your taking me on (soaring talking) what do you mean its not happening (soaring talking) are you breaking up with me” rainbow dash said with a tone of heart break “I don’t understand after 2 years you dump me for spitfire” rainbow hung up the phone crying and went up stairs. She leaned against the wall for support as she sobbed as quiet as she could she locked the door and looked at the still in the package box of chocolates he had gave her she went downstairs only to grab a trash bag then she started putting every thing in the trash bag that had to do with him. She heard a knock “who is it” she choked out “some one who wants to help you feel better” sonic said “and just how do you expect to do that you have never been dumped by who you thought was the one” she yelled. “just let me in” she unlocked the door and opened it a crack and sonic pushed it open all the way as she went back to work “so that’s what the trash bag was for.” sonic said trying to lift her spirits “I know you need time but when your done want to hang out” sonic asked rainbow dropped the picture of soaring and the trash bag and flew towards the window but she said "sure" before leaving “so… you  like her but not me” Amy said behind him. He turned and she smiled before throwing herself at him and forcing him in to a tight hug. He wriggled out of her grasp and went to his room to change he walked out to see rainbow dash beat him to pool she flew up and flew into the water she flew out and did a cannon ball splashing sonic. Blaze and Mako watched Amy saw a way to get sonic to like her as she got on her two piece rainbow dash swam up and waved to sonic she saw a black dot in the sky “we did not schedule a storm be back after I take care of that cloud hey clouds aren’t red and they don’t have-” she was about to say fists when something hit her hard in the forehead she sat up and looked for what had done that she heard arguing and found sonic and what must have been his evil twin arguing “what the heck you nearly killed her if you did not notice she was in the air high over the ground” sonic yelled. “serves it right its not supposed to exist and look its waking up. Happy now?” rainbow dashed rubbed her head she tried to fly up so she could give that dude a good piece of her mind but her wings hurt so bad she looked at them “HE BROKE MY WINGS! ALL RIGHT PUNCHING ME IS ONE THING BUT BREAKING MY WINGS IS CROSSING THE LINE” she dug and brought out a necklace with a red gem and healed her self “ she flew up high and did a sonic rain boom in the exact shape of a lightning bolt and hit shadow in the gut causing him to get really mad she dodged his fist and smirked at him “getting tired already this is my warm up” she kept taunting him every time he missed until he grabbed her tail and slammed her into a tree "Ow what was that for "and dragging her off “hey bring her here right now” sonic shouted grabbing her around the waist and kicking shadows arm making him let go off her then he brought her to the hospital and sat by her bed side “few people go against shadow alone especially people who barely know him, you did so ” the mane six and sonic’s friends came he explained it to them “some darn varmint did this ter rainbow now ahm mad” apple jack said. “he must be like Gilda a meanie mean pants” pinky said. “I-I-I agree but princess Celestia did say that the elements can heal” flutter shy whisper twilight grabbed a trunk and put the remaining four elements around her hooves and her tiara on her head nothing happened “I know use this” tails put a chaos emerald over her heart “tails I don’t think that’s-” Amy was interrupted when rainbow started to turn white while her mane and tail colors intensend her eyes opened “what happened what’s going on” rainbow freaked out until sonic put his hand on her shoulder and gave her a smile that said that every thing was okay “so they can go super we have to try this out on all of you” tails said “well twilight here is already an alicorn so lets try it they did what they had done to rainbow she changed different an orb surrounded her and her horn lit up her eyes turning white no control over her magic when she gained control her mane had lightened and her coat was white all of one after another sonic and his friends looked in wonder at them pinky looked at rainbow gash and saw shadow spying on them she looked at him mad and her hair deflated and her brightness faded Amy looked over at pinkie pie. “ hey pinkie wait up why is your hair all flat its not puffy any more” Amy looked at her hair. “ the guy who almost killed rainbow dash is outside spying on us probably waiting for us to leave maybe we should leave rainbow with the elements and that emerald” pinkie said “ Pinkies really worried shadow is outside she saw him” Amy told them “I guess it could not hurt it better she survive” they all agreed. Pinkie felt better and her hair poofed up again. “yay oh rainbow dash your perfectly safe now” she bounced outside the others following her “bye dashie” sonic said before he left rainbow dash to sleep. She closed her eyes. In her dream Dash was flying along with sonic running next to her they stopped under a tree it was getting late she flew and grabbed two clouds and shaped two beds she flew one down to sonic and he got in she then flew him up with him in it to hers and she got in getting blankets for the two of them they then went to sleep in the cloud beds she felt sonic take her hoof in his hand then she woke up In real life: She woke up to find sonic was asleep in the chair next to her bed asleep holding her hoof she got up and took him on her back and went to her house carrying him on her back and set him down on the couch she went into the kitchen and filled a big pot and put some carrots and potatoes in she started making egg noodles she stirred her ingredients together and poured them in bowls she woke sonic up and gave him the soup after they finished eating sonic asked her where she had bought it “actually I made it secret recipe I made” rainbow blushed. She picked up the bowls and put them in the sink she washed the dished then quick as a flash started cleaning the house she cleaned it in ten seconds flat. “well lets get to twilights place” rainbow dash said “she can find a way to send you back to your world” she added. She flew out carrying sonic on her back to the library “okay so I have never done this before but if we use the emeralds and the elements we may be able to do it plus we have four alicorns helping power it princess Celestia, princess Luna, And princess Cadence came down they all stood together and activated their magic the emeralds started to float and the elements appeared on their owners as they used them to create a portal back a swirling vortex appeared they tried to step forward but bumped into a large man “what where am I where is my lab?… oh… a… sonic, sonic’s friends, and uh ponies.” the portal closed “you being nice I never thought you would be given you try to take over the world a lot and you keep trying to kill me” super rainbow dash flew in shadow following her “help he is crazy and I heard someone said some one was trying to kill sonic and he was egg shaped” she looked at egg man and her eyes filled with anger she flew up through the roof “I am going to use an atomic rain boom on him” she yelled she flew up into the sun’s glare she flew down at half rain boom power instantly she went faster than ever an atomic rain boom happened and a gold and rainbow trail followed her she hit egg man square in the chest and he fell over “is that pegasus crazy?” he yelled turning red in the face and grabbed rainbow she bucked him and shadow just stood there when he saw his chance he kicked her first in the gut then in the head rainbow swayed this time falling harder than before she stopped breathing “RAINBOW!!!!” the mane six and sonic and his friends cried out. flutter shy was about to grab them the elements appeared on their owners except rainbows it appeared on twilight “she looked at shadow and a magenta aura surrounded her “you killed her there is no bringing her back now” her said. pinkie stopped trying to shake rainbow awake “you mean she not going to wake up” she turned grayish and her hair turned flat and dull. She burst out crying “rainbow cant die” she said every one looked at her “what will we do with out the element of loyalty” flutter shy said suddenly she looked at rainbow dash and saw shadow trying to sneak off she flew in his way “just where do you think your going” she said angrily. She used the stare shadow looked at her and when she intensified it with threats and yelling he said sorry. She forgave him “hey where is rainbow going? RAINBOW’S SPIRIT WAIT UP!” a translucent rainbow turned to face her sonic ran up to her and took her hoof and his hand and hugged her close. “bye rainbow” he whispered. he saw rainbow was an alicorn and her horn was illuminated with rainbow. rainbows spirit then went back to her body she opened her eyes barely and tried to get up only to fall down sonic caught her “you need some rest he put his arm around her and they walked to flutter shy’s place he laid her on a couch “I’m… so tired” she rested her head on the pillow and the last thing she saw before going to sleep was Amy gawking at her as she felt some one stroking her mane then hug her and Amy looking at her with jealousy. She then went to sleep “so that’s it their a couple now how am I supposed to get him to like me?” she asked her friends pointing at the sleeping rainbow dash unaware that she was having an utter nightmare Dash’s nightmare: Rainbow dash walked around in what looked like a large building she heard someone shouting her name for help and ran towards it she tried to fly but her wings would not work she found the room and saw sonic tied up with egg man grinning in triumph ready to test out a new weapon she went and bucked egg man only to have two robots grab her and tie her up she was tossed in cage and her wings finally worked “SONIC NO!!!!” a beam of electricity shoot from the tip and could only watch as the steady rise and fall of his breath slowed. She was then shaken awake Real world: she saw pinkie outside in her pinkie mina pie form talking to shadow. “so what you have two forms what do I care” shadow said “you keep trying to kill rainbow what have you got against her she is still heart broken her boyfriend broke up with her last week just because spitfire stole a kiss, do you know how cruel that was she broke her diet so badly she gained 37 pounds in one week” shadow looked down “she actually never did anything to me should I apologize?” he asked “and pay part of her medical bill she is super poor like she can barely keep her house the only reason she can keep it is her job and it is awful she works at the weather team and only get forty-four a month with her boss not fair, and she does not act like it but she very insecure striving to live up to the wonder bolts why because even though spitfire acts like she is it is actually dashies dad whose leader but he wont let her join” she said reveling dashies secret shadow walked of pinkies hair puffed up again. “oh my head hurts I thought” rainbow looked over instead of seeing sonic she saw shadow walking towards her. Oh no I am not going to get my flank kicked and need sonic to keep me from dying she ran out the door since her wings still hurt she flew up to a cloud only to see spitfire and soaring having a picnic soaring saw her and looked at spitfire a mean smile creeping to their lips spit fire whispered something to soaring and they started to call her fat just when rainbow thought it could not get worse soaring flew to a nearby storm cloud and electrocuted she looked at them tears welling up in her eyes and she flew off hearing them laughing like hyenas. She flew to her house and looked at the fridge she opened it and found her tub of ice cream and put some in a bowl she put her ice cream away and went to her room sobbing into her pillow she flew up and started pushing on the side of the large house and eventually got it moving she came to the farthest corner of ponyville and went in side she heard some one calling her she peeked out to see something she did not want to see she was up so high she did not see that the figures she was seeing were just really well painted cardboard figures of sonic and Amy but the spitfire and soaring was real the two pairs were kissing. Dashing out the window to ponyville to see sonic talking to twilight “you fat liar your just like soaring only asking me out so you can cheat on me and tear me down” she was about to buck him in the stomach when twilight picked her up and glaring at sonic “do you really think that rainbow is not sensitive well let me tell you this she is very sensitive she may not act it around most people but she is and she is insecure” she lectured and set rainbow down. Rainbow looked down and saw soaring and spitfire laughing at her holding the figurines. “they still found me… and they tricked me” rainbow could not hold it back any longer she laid her head on the table and cried “I am done with friendship there is nothing but betrayal” she threw her element in the stream. Sonic reached out to stroke her mane to make her feel better when she heard Amy dividing 100 bits two ways between soaring and spitfire “there’s fifty for you and fifty for you now that pegusus wont get in the way and I will have my sonikku” sonic turned just as Amy was walking over out of no where the cmc tackled her “no one makes rainbow cry” they yelled Amy used her hammer like a baseball bat just a carriage pulled up holding Luna and Celestia. Rainbow looked up and dashed over bowing when she stopped. Celestia looked and saw the three responsible for her state of mind bowing as if nothing happened with help from silver they levitated them over “hey sweet heart” soaring said as if he never dumped her “hey dash your dad is awesome” spitfire said “I am cool with sonic liking you besides your both fast” Amy lied. Princess Celestia looked at them obviously seeing straight through them she told rainbow and sonic to go somewhere they flew off while the princess lectured them. she sat on a cloud and looked down at the ever free forest she flew over it waiting to find something new she stopped there was a perfect circle. Just sitting there. She flew off to get her friends and they found that egg man was having a base built though it was incomplete. “um flutter shy I have some thing to tell you knuckles likes apple jack and silver likes twilight” flutter shy looked at him “oh dear where’s Mako she disappeared” she looked on the ground before a beam of light grazed her flank and hit her wing “ she screamed out and fell she looked down and shut her eyes she prepared her self for the hit and landed creating a crater rainbow was doing her best to dodge the rapid fire that is until some one punched her in the shouted but to late “don’t you dare do you her what you jaw she saw sonic and his friends going super and blacked out. She was in the same building as in her dream and heard sonic calling out she ran and bucked the door sonic was tied up she was going to untie him when she was grabbed in the same machine egg mad used the last time he tried to awaken dark Gaia “no rainbow move it’s a trap its been a thousand years” sonic said sonic shouted at egg man “ hmm feisty aren’t we well then it will happen to both of you” egg man smiled “what’s he doing? What’s happening to us sonic rainbow shouted as she turned black her mane got a white streak and sonic turned a darker blue and fluffier “ it’s impossible to stop you have to keep control of your self rainbow felt fangs growing and her hooves turning into paws “why the heck am I turning into a wolf” the same was happening to sonic “ this did not happen last time by the time they where released rainbow had a fluffy rainbow tail and a black body with longer hair she looked at egg man and growled leaping at him which was easy since she had kept her wings she latched on to his arm holding tightly as he tried to shake her off she lept off giving sonic as close as she could get to a smile before the two of them flew out the broken window to there friends at first flutter shy thought they where real wolves and summoned changer (adopted from another story) who turned to a dog and did not attack showing they where their friends “oh my. sonic what happened to you? you look like a wolf” Amy exclaimed { cause we are wolves } they said annoyed “well it just happens I have two leashes we cant have everybody knowing your wolves and freaking out she said pulling out a black leash a blue leash with pink rhinestones on it she put the black one on sonic and was walking over to rainbow {come hell or high water I am not wearing that} rainbow said Twilight made it neon rainbow {that works} she said as rainbow put it around her she pulled out two tags one saying speed and the other rainbow bolt {dibs} rainbow said taking the rainbow bolt one and having twilight attach it to her collar Amy helped sonic with his. {can we leave before egg man comes out screaming at me} rainbow asked “why what did you do” Knuckles asked { kindda sort of bit him to the bone and his arm tastes awful} rainbow said sticking out her tongue for effect she and sonic then bolted off Amy struggling to hold on twilight flashing them to ponyville just as the three arrived rainbow looked at her paws {dang I stepped on three thorns and they're  all so big} she started licking her pads then trying to pull it out the minuet she stared pulling she howled in pain flutter shy went up to her friend and petting her with one hoof she grabbed all three thorns with the other she took them out { OUCHHHHHH!} rainbow shouted she then felt a hand stroking her shoulder she looked up to see shadow her wolf senses took over her ears flattened and her fur puffed up she bared her teeth and unfurled her wings “sit rainbow bolt sit” she reluctantly sat the cmcs came out “dogs maybe we can help flutter shy to get our cutie marks” they ran to the and started playing with them rainbow and sonic flew to her house and slept in their beds dash wrapped her tail around her now smaller body she flew out the window to the nearby cloud she kept nearby and looked at the stars taking her blanket she wrapped it around her self soon she was asleep . Sonic came out to check on her and after making sure she was perfectly fine he went in side unaware that two enemies they thought they had gotten rid of years ago showed up chrysalis and malaphi. The two snuck the were wolf away unseen and unheard the next day a hedgehog that looked like shadow at first glance was roaming around. “hi shadow I like how you died your quills they look awesome” pinkie said bubbly as ever. Sonic saw him and growled “calm down speed its just shadow” pinkie said to him “actually I am malaphi” sonic froze at his name and leapt at him instantly knowing why rainbow was missing {what have you done with rainbow} he said pinning malaphi to the ground “gave her to egg man he is extracting her memories now then love etcetera and after that I get the fun job getting rid of her” he smiled smugly at sonic “and this time your not finding his base” he said kicking sonic off him and walking of just as twilight was coming out. “whose he?” she asked { Melephi } he said with a tone of hatred. “who is he and where is rainbow dash” sonic looked down {with egg man he too her there they are looking at her memories then getting rid of every thing in her mind then… they are going to get  rid of her} he said “we have to save her” she said {then what are we waiting for lets round up the others and kick some kidnapper  butt} he said “and don’t try this at home kids cause we are professionals at this we may not be trained but we are experienced while you are not so you run the risk of getting turned into a dog like sonic her” pinkie said breaking the fourth wall. {pinkie what have rainbow and I told you about disobeying physics} sonic scolded “to not to but hey screw physics I always go against them and break the fourth wall” she giggled then she bounced off and brought all of the rest back. “here they are” she said. “Pinkie ahm pretty sure we coulda all walked here ourselves” apple jack said annoyed “um sonic l-l-look behind you” flutter shy said she, Cream, and Mako hid behind a bush { what has them all wor-} just as he got turned around he was hit by a robot and they were all tied up and taken to egg man’s base {RAINBOW} the minute sonic saw her he was trying to escape which he did only to skid to a stop “one more move and you wont see her again… alive that is” melephi threatened holding a dagger to an unconscious rainbows throat. {no} he could only stand there even with his super speed the dagger touched her throat he had no chose but to sit there but with a sad look on his face rainbow began to stir {where am I who are you guys} she asked “time to finish this” melephi raised the dagger and sonic grabbed rainbow they teleported to the library and twilight used a memory spell on her and changed both of them back to their original form and rainbow trotted out. They all looked at each other before rainbow trotted in her eyes red from crying “those jerks I’m not a loser or an idiot” she said “what did spitfire and soaring do this time I going to give them a piece of my mind” sonic said getting mad. “why cant I be strong like I was before all of you came along I cant even be happy in my own home why can they just leave me alone?” rainbow asked tearing up as sonic led her out to see soaring waiting to electrocute rainbow a bull’s eye unfortunately sonic turned to glare at him and kicked soaring in the chest and giving him a black eye then kicking spitfire off the cloud landing her next to soaring “no one makes rainbow cry you have been tearing her apart like a piece of paper and its not fair to her so stop it you got that?” he glared at them “yes” they flew off afraid. Spike walked out and handed held out a note from the princess twilight opened the letter “its tickets to the grand galloping gala enough for all of us, this year you need a date or a guest. Rarity we are going to need a lot of suits and dresses” she said. Rarity grinned and ran to the carousel boutique. A week later she came out and gave every one their outfit with a big smile on her face every one put on their out fits and headed for the castle sonic , tails, and silver in white tuxes, shadow and knuckles in black ones. Blaze was wearing a purple flame style dress, rainbow wearing a rainbow sequin one, Amy was wearing a simple pink one, flutter she was wearing one too only hers was a pastel green, rouge was wearing a dress that looked like her normal outfit only it was satin, pinkie’s was all pink with different shade stripes, twilight's was a lilac purple, rarity’s was white trimmed with sky blue, applejack’s was orange trimmed with green and an apple pattern on the trim, Mako’s was silver. They came in just as a slow song. Pairings where, tails and Mako, silver and twilight, shadow and rouge, knuckles and applejack, blaze and espio, Amy and sonic, soon every pony had a partner except flutter shy and rainbow dash. Even rarity was dancing with prince blue bloods mannered brother. But them they were alone soon flutter shy went to the garden to cry rainbow saw the wonder bolts doing tricks she went out as the song ended and sat down on a bench she saw sonic coming out trying to unlatch Amy from his arm but just as he approached dash Amy started trying to give him kisses on the cheek finally just as dash noticed him he had turned his head to tell her to stop and she went into a kiss. Rainbow saw him trying to shake her off and knew what had happened and flew at her do a 180 and bucking her in the side hard enough for her to let go and give the two time to escape and push dashes house up out of her reach “we are in big trouble” dash chuckled “you bet” sonic laughed. Dash smiled at him and walked out to the balcony and looking at the moon rise she knew what was going to happen soon her fur turned a mid night blue and grew long her cutie mark moving to her chest and her tail turning to a wolf her muzzle grew sharper teeth and she got paws when she came in sonic was looking at her and smiled smugly “new rule rainbow bolt no going out side at night” he laughed at her luck while she glared at him clearly not finding it funny he then took out her collar and lease and held onto her she hopped on his bed and curled up at the foot while sonic slept to she woke up and quietly she looked out the window at the moon she looked to see timber wolves going towards ponyville and a couple nearing flutter shy’s house she barked in alarm causing every one to wake up as she pointed to the timber wolves soon sonic was a winged wolf with the best people for the job following them rainbow landed in front of flutter shy’s house snarling as she lunged at them biting one in the neck and tossing in at the other and biting any that go to close to the house. Soon all that was left were, thanks to a coincidence, neatly stacked piles of wood for winter {now all they need is a bow} dash joked. She rushed to help the others. Sonic was dashing around making a so called barrier rainbow saw him struggling and swooped in while their friends  attacked them soon there was not one timber wolf they turned to walk off when they heard a growl behind them. They turned there was a giant timber wolf they all attacked it but it just made it madder rainbow flew up quick to avoid a swipe that ended up hitting her friends she turned to see all of them on the ground groaning she turned and glared at the wolf and started attacking it scattering sticks and logs around the grass. {leave them alone!} she screamed and she picked up a large rock and shoved it into its throat as it barked to get it out sticks flew every where rainbow still attacking it and scattering the sticks. She gave it a final hard buck in the side before it fell apart. She flew down to see sonic starting to wake up along with every one else “where is apple jack” twilight asked not knowing that she was buried alive under the pile of wood from the giant timber wolf at that moment knuckles shouted “under the wood I saw her we have to get her out!” sonic ran over and with rainbows help started moving logs rainbow and him worried what they found however was not the apple jack they knew sonic grabbed applejack’s tail and pulled her out but to there surprise the mane six that were not alicorns disappeared. At first sonic and his friends were worried but twilight told them that they were simply changing soon they reappeared rainbow not a wolf but an alicorn she looked at him she was now a full head taller than all of them and her mane and tail were much longer her element on her neck and a tiara with a her element shape on it on her head she looked at them the others with a similar appearance. She looked at the gawking mouths of sonic and his friends and laughed as they looked at them trying to make head or tail of it and failing. She giggled when Amy fainted melodramatically. “hey lets prank her” pinkie suggested as a hot pink aurora levitated Amy and her horn as they walked to pinkie’s house where Amy was staying as they set her down pinkie gave her a moustache and beard. They all walked out to their house. The next morning a scream was heard all over Pony Ville. Every pony rushed over to pinkie’s house and for their lives held back a laugh. Pinkie was still sound asleep up stairs. They heard munching from the kitchen they went in to find pinkie sleep eating some cupcakes. Tails whispered something to every one but apple jack and knuckles and they teleported out side with a partner. Pinkie pie said something about throwing a party at sugar cube corner in her sleep as she woke up and trotted inside happily she shut the blinds and the door. They all left her to do her thing. That night a party was going on at twilights summer home. Rainbow looked at all the fun sonic and his friends where having pinkie had been so flustered to make it perfect that the only person in Pony Ville not there was her. She rested her head on her hooves “now what Amy has convinced sonic that they were meant for each other knuckles and apple jack are happy every one has a special some pony or body” “except you” the regal voice of a lunar princess said behind her “you are alone I have been here for some time now, maybe you should use a mind reading spell on him to see if he really feels this for her” she said as she smiled reassuringly rainbow lit up her horn a rainbow aurora surrounding it she frowned when sonic thought *god when I was dancing with dash she had four left hooves and her idea of getting ready differs completely from mine* she knew that this was a changeling the queen in fact and she was getting a double dose from rainbow and Amy. But there was one thing she had not counted on the elements. Rainbow discreetly gathered her friends and told them they tricked her into revealing her self by saying bad things about her. Chrysalis looked at them fear in her eyes but for a short minute. “ you little foals do you not know that you miss some one did you not sense it your little blue friend who’s speed matches that of rainbow dash is an element of harmony” she laughed before using her magic to display the last element, a white ring. “how did I not notice I knew there was some thing special about him I just did not know what” rainbow looked at the ground the realization over took her “s-s-s-sonic is an element of HARMONY” she flew at her before another changeling sonic grabbed her “you wont find the real sonic again, besides he has taken an interest to you as have I” he smiled at her before dragging her out side. Once they were out he sealed doors and windows off before pulling her closer and sealing the inches as he kissed her he ran his fingers through her mane she brought up her hoof pulled away and slapped him across the face and flew straight up he could not fly though she flew the fastest she had ever flown she saw the real sonic banging on a force field she flew down at rain boom speed shattering the force field he grinned she told him her plan to go to mobius and with him on her back she flew up to the portal she rushed around when she found some thing they went back she threw a leather cord with a silver ring around his neck and ran inside her friends were okay they powered up and attacked her she looked in fear as a silver rainbow hit her she had been turned to stone like discord. She looked at her wanting more than anything to have that statue smashed by her hooves. They looked around a zebra was galloping towards them “there is trouble in ponyville. For most of the citizens are falling ill.” she said. “oh dear can you cure it Zecora?” twilight asked. “indeed I have tried, but they need a guide.” Zecora explained. “I’ll do it.” apple bloom said “and so will we.” scootaloo and sweetie belle agreed. “what does it do.” twilight asked. “it makes a cutie mark change, but the cure is quite strange” she handed twilight the recipe for the cure “a griffon wing feather, a sword’s rust, a fire ruby dust, a dragon scale, and the juice of the leaves of a rare rainbow poison joke. Who wrote this stuff?” twilight read the list and commented. “just don’t make us harvest the stuff, I saw it growing near the common poison joke.” rainbow said “my good friend it pains my to say, but you do need to in a day.” Zecora sighed. “ugh fine lets go guys” they all teleported there. Found the rainbow poison joke unfortunately the juice spilled on twilight, apple jack, flutter shy, pinkie pie, rainbow dash, and rarity they ignored it and when they went to sleep the next morning, lets just say all hell broke loose. Amy grinned at the cute kitten sitting in the middle of the room confused on how it got that way “what’s happened to us” she asked. “I’ll tell you what’s happened. We now have adowable fwufy kittens” Amy grinned scooping up the mane six to show every one. “rainbow wriggled out of her grasp and flew to her house bursting into sonic’s room “look at me” she squealed “I think the whole kitten looks cute on you” sonic joked “ohhhhh your no help I going to see if knuckles is done reading my wonder bolts magazine and daring do. She dashed into his room and grinned he was already awake and done with the magazine she took it and going into the living room hid under the couch with it she stayed under there for an hour before hunger drove her out she meowed loudly for some food since she could not operate  the can opener she got down the only thing of cat food she had wild salmon and tuna. She cared the can and a bowl into sonic’s room and dropped them in his lap “aw is some one hungry” she narrowed her eyes at him in annoyance. “just open the stupid can and give it me” he smiled “say please” “pleeaaase, maybe later I’ll show you my claws and it will be painful.” she mumbled. Back with pinkie pie. “wait so let me get this strait we have six intelligent kittens running around and they are all good fighters and colored abnormal” Amy said barely able to contain her excitement. She started jumping up and down “time for a party” she screamed “hey that my job” pinkie said. Pinkie went out she saw silver helping twilight rearrange the library. “silver look out something is going to fall,” she said “don’t be silly nothing is going to fa- I stand corrected” he said as a book fell on his head. Pinkie giggled “told you so” she smiled. “yes, yes you did” silver said rubbing his head she felt funny she was back to normal and smiled then she jumped“oh my gosh I almost for got rainbows concert is today we have to get going its in five minutes” pinkie exclaimed grabbing every one and galloping to Manehattan.
