Celestia looked through a window then at the white unicorn guard for but a second. "Of course, the day has been quite a nice one, am I right Song Comet?" she loved looking through the window seeing the happy ponies playing. "It sure has Princess," he said, "the day has been just perfect, shall we escort you to the bedchambers?" Comet bowed to his ruler as she approached him. She simply nodded and began to walk, Comet soon joining her to the bedchambers. The sun was still betting on his hooves as the Night Princess had yet to lower the beautiful sun to make way for the night. Comet again bowed to Celestia the ruler of Equestria and the raiser of the sun. "Goodnight Mister Comet," the serine voice giving a slight warm feeling to Comet's emotions. "Goodnight Princess, I shall wake you in the morning," Comet said his pale white coat getting blown on by the open window inside Celestia's chambers. "Good, I relieve you of your duties for the day," she added walking to her bed closing the door in one swipe of her magic. Song Comet smiled he hadn't ever been done this early! He wondered what the Night Walkers will do once all of his Day Walkers are gone. He loved the whole "Day Walker" and "Night Walker" idea that some-pony said. Who would attack at night? Song let out another sigh as a realization hit him: he's board and a bit hungry too. He shrugged the fact he was up all day and no lunch break kind of got to him. Song walked to the door leading to the kitchen. He stopped realizing he isn't a guard at this moment; he's been relieved of duty, however, he has no bits, and it's a long walk home. He shrugged his shoulders. He showed an emotion in his face - disappointment was shown. "I guess, I'll wait till, I get home." Comet jumped as he heard a voice speak over her shoulder: "Thou hungry?" it was the Night Princess, Comet didn't even respond before his stomach answered for him. He blushed lightly as it did. He looked to the stones; he'd never noticed how polished they were, shining from even in the dim night's light. "Eh. . . yes, I haven't eaten anything today," he admitted his hooves shuffling a bit. Princess Luna tossed him half an apple. "There you go," she smiled, "I insist don't worry, we have plenty." Luna chuckled as Comet did as told and took bites out of the apple. "Thank you Princess, I appreciate it." Comet took yet another bite of the juicy apple it must've been from Ponyville's very own Apple Family. Luna walked off and left him alone. He walked to the castle's gate and past. He brought his hoof in front of him. "Raining? I didn't know that today was supposed to rain." Song Comet shrugged that off and kept walking to his house. Opening the door he was tackled by younger unicorn filly. "Hi daddy!" the filly hugged tightly. He smiled his heart warming as his white daughter next to her ash gray brother standing by her. "Hi Sweet Song, and hi Song Comet Jr. how's it going?" Comet took his golden helmet off smiling at the young duo. He yawned loudly soon seeing his loving wife; Wisp Wake, her horn glowing similar to Rarity's blue magic, her coat same as his young son Song Comet Jr. and her eyes also similar to Rarity's blue. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~  ~ ~ ~@@@@@@~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Song Comet sat at the dinner table. "So, Song Comet, how was school?" he quizzically raised his eyebrow not getting a word from him. The cadet young stallion looked to the pale white stallion. "Everything's fine," he wore something unnatural to him; a large pair of black glasses. He tilted his head. "Why do you have those on Comet?" Song asked his newly made adult who looked up at him. He ignored the question and continued picking at his food. Suddenly his thick glasses encased in a crimson red aura. He hasted backwards, his own gray aura desperately fighting back his soupier, failing of course. He fell to the ground and got up showing a large gash on his face. It was dripping slightly. Silence filled the room except for the sounds of the rain gutter dripping water to the ground. The scar was not a normal one. "What happened Comet!?" his mother ran to him in worry. He looked down. He was silent. "That's not important, I'm going to my room," Comet rose to his hooves stopped by his father. "Did you request it or did you declare it?" he hissed at his son in anger at him. The stallion kept silent. "I'm declaring it." Comet touched his own wound. Without letting any-pony else respond he ran to his room. Three hours later Song got into bed; getting snuggled up under his covers. He tried not to think of his son's outburst. Wonder what got into him. . . He's never seen Comet disobey an order. He closed his eyes for a moment. A crash soon followed his eyes shutting. His house was just as before. He ran downstairs in an orderly fashion yet he was old. Song saw some-pony though it was only his daughter. "Sweetie, what are you doing up at this time, it's past your bedtime," he pointed a hoof upstairs not seeing the filly respond. "Honey, you all right?" he asked he walked closer and closer to his weeping daughter. He was finally at her hooves. He heard muttering many times actually. He hugged the filly tightly. "What's wro-" he was cut off by a sharp pain as the filly bit him. That, however, wasn't the end. He then saw how his daughter's white coat was blacker and her eyes. God the eyes! Her eyes were all black and she was crying blood. "Help . . . me," the filly's voice spoke the one bite seemed to have dealt more damage than first anticipated. He fell to the ground. "NightFall will rise," a familiar voice spoke, walking in front of him. "And Equestria will fall and NightFall shall rise!" the male pony up roared, his coat even grayer than before. "Song Comet?" he weakly spoke more words catching in his throat. "NightFall will rise. . . again!" the stallion jumped at him his teeth jagged sharp as were Sweet Song's. He jolted awake. He laid back as he realized it was a dream. "Thank Celestia - it was so real though," he tapped his wife's shoulder . . . soon regretting it as her eye sockets were gone and her eyes bleeding as if she were crying. He was of course lunged at, he clenched his eyes shut and let out a mighty scream. Next time on Fallen Empire: Blood Tears. . . "Hang on dad!" said Song Comet holding his father's hoof. "It's too late my son," he said tears welling from his eyes. "How could this happen!?" Comet wondered almost hissing it. "Ask the Princesses; ask them about one known as NightFall." "NightFall was a ruthless ruler, taking his throne by force, we hoped this never too happen, he controls dreams, turns them to nightmares. . . "Honey, honey, wake up," his eyes shot open as the words were spoken, out of breath he glanced at his wife - smiling warmly her eyes where they should be - "Oh, Wisp," he fell to the breast of Wisp Wake crying his eyes out. Wisp Wake stroked his dark red mane. "Shh . . . you had a nightmare," she hushed calming Song down. Song chuckled embarrassed he had made such a big deal of a nightmare. "Yeah I guess, you're right Wisp," he rubbed his neck embarrassed. He suddenly stopped as he felt two bumps on his neck. With that he rushed to the bathroom and looked to his nightmare two bumps on his neck; exactly where the bite mark was. He squeaked. "Ah!" he said jumping back to the tub. "What's wrong honey?" Wisp Wake asked putting a comforting hoof on Comet's shoulder. He was speechless in fear. When he finally spoke he was scared. "Do I have two bumps on my neck?" he asked putting his neck to Wisp's face. "Okay, you do," she admitted not wanting to hear more of this she walked off. He sighed and looked to the mirror. "It was all a dream." He wanted to believe it. Suddenly a flash of a pitch black with white spots all over, all red eyes, and snowy white mane appeared it seemed to be an alicorn. Soon the mirror broke into a million pieces all of a sudden. Song Comet felt scared as he rubbed a hoof along his dark red mane. He walked downstairs all he could think about was that nightmare - it scared him to death - he continued to walk downstairs. Soon leaping back as he felt off while walking downstairs. "Everything okay Dad?" Song Comet Jr. asked seeing his father observe him. "Yes son," he simply said not taking his eyes off of him. Song Comet began eating his breakfast slowly as he watched his father stare, Song's scar not bleeding in the slightest anymore. Comet sighed maybe it was a dream. - Doubtful but, it is possible - Comet walked to the kitchen soon regretting it. "Go, go, go, go," a voice spoke softly in a twisted raspy voice. Soon enough he looked to the mirror he held in his saddlebag in case of something. There he saw a clear vision of something. It had bat wings, its coat was black and had white spots all over, its mane even white than its spots, and its cutie mark a red 'X' faded away. "Go to it, go to it, go to it . . ." it sounded serious but how can Comet trust this thing? It gave him nightmares after all. The figure smirked. "If you don't you'll regret it," the figure said in the twisted voice. "How?" Song asked it's in a mirror how can he regret it. Suddenly a flash of his daughter blood eyed and on the ground her flesh looked as if she was torn open. He couldn't bare to watch any longer. He sighed as he looked back to the mirror. "Fine, I will." Comet can't believe he agreed to that. "Good, now go, NOW!" the voice roared as the figure vanished from the mirror. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Comet tied his saddlebag around him. "See you Wisp," he said nervously his voice showing it as it was shaking. Wisp took no mind to it. "Bye honey," she waved happily as she lowered a book with her magic. Comet got to the forest the mirror still a mirror. "Okay, what now?" Comet asked the mirror as he approached the forest from which he was told to go. "Good, good. Now, go into it, look for a large castle," he told Comet who was still unsure - however wanting his daughter safe is important to him as well - he boldly walked into the forest. Finally he found the castle after countless amounts of searching throughout the day. "Alright, I'm here - I think - is this it?" he asked there have been many, many castles found among the Everfree. "Ah, home sweet home, this is it alright," he ground his teeth. With a sigh Comet went inside. "Now what?" he was doubting himself every step of the way. "Repeat after me," he said. "Bring what was once mine, what once was ruled by an Overlord, what once made dreams into nightmares, bring back Overlord NightFall," the two said in unison Comet now really doubting himself. A blast of light blinded the poor unicorn. "Gah!" he turned his head away from the light. Soon a pony rose form the smoke. "Hahahahahaha, I'm back!" he flapped his bat wings a red spark ignited from his horn. "NightFall is back!" he looked to Song. "Y-You can't beat the Princesses," he said his eyes falling closed for some reason. Finally he awoke to being strapped to a table. "Ah, you have awoken Song Comet," NightFall stroked his mane. "Now, why don't you end this, but, you know, since I am such a kind man, you may send a letter to your family," he said handing him a piece of paper and a quill both being held in Song's magic. Dear Song Comet and who else this may concern: Look out, an evil is coming your way, it's too late for me, I'm sure Song Comet Jr. hoped to hold my hoof when I die and tell me "Hold on," Song said. I would respond. "It's too late for me." "How could this happen?" Song would ask. And, I would respond. "Talk to the Princesses about one known as NightFall." I am going to always be in your heart. Love, Song Comet Song Comet sent the letter, soon closing his eyes, not wanting to see the blood and gore. "Goodbye loving family," he said a tear running down his eye. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Soon after the death of Song Comet his son ran to the castle, not caring about the guards. He saw Princess Celestia. "Princess, Princess," he said chasing after her. Celestia turned to Comet. "What is it?" she asked in her serine voice. He thought for a moment. "Do, do you know of a man known as: NightFall?" he asked knowing she would say yes. Her head dropped to the ground. "NightFall was a ruthless ruler, taking his throne by force, we hoped this never too happen, he controls dreams, turns them to nightmares. . . We fear . . . he may have risen to reclaim his throne . . . and even worse, he was, my older brother,” her head dropping even lower. The room fell silent as the words sunk into Song Comet. "Me, Luna, and him worked together as a trio: I raised the sun at dawn, Luna raises the moon at dusk, and NightFall used to come into every-pony's dreams," she started taking a quick breath. "However, he was corrupt and wanted more power to get it he tried to kill us in our dreams," she wanted to stop, however she pushed forward. "When we learned about this we instantly used the Elements of Harmony, somehow he was immune to the power of the Elements, so we worked together and banished him into his own creation; the Everfree Forest. Another decade pasted and I was forced to banish Luna as well," Comet obviously saw she hasn't thought of NightFall in a really long time with the tears that are falling from her eyes. Comet looked to Celestia. "There's gotta be a way to beat him," he knew even Celestia has a weakness. Celestia nodded. "There is one way . . ." Next time on Fallen Empire: Blood Tears "No-pony can stop me!" yelled NightFall mimicking a male sounding Queen Chrysalis. "I have to go where?" "You must go to the Forest of Misery," Celestia told him. //-------------------------------------------------------// Big Brother //-------------------------------------------------------// Big Brother Previously on Fallen Empire: Blood Tears "Good, now go, NOW!" the voice roared as the figure vanished from the mirror. "There is one way . . ." ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Song Comet looked to the sun goddess as she exchanged a meaningful look. - A serious look - Song waited for her to admit what it is, soon growing impatient. "How Princess?" he asked. "You said there was a way, how do I defeat him?" Celestia looked to the window the darkness was beginning to stretch from beyond the Everfree in a slow pace. "Are you sure you are ready for this?" she asked looking over to Song Comet. "You have a little sister and mother to take care of after all," Celestia brought up. Revenge however clouded Comet's mind, the last things said to his father was: "I'm declaring it." Those were his last words to his father. "Song Comet, are you ready?!" she must've asked multiple times if she snapped like that. Comet shook his head getting his mind back on the task at hoof. "W-What sorry, I-I kinda spaced out," he rubbed the back of his mane. Celestia slapped her face with her hoof. "Are you sure you're ready?" she quizzically raised an eyebrow her now slightly gray coat from the few tears she made. Comet nodded eagerly. Maybe if he's lucky it'll be easier than he thinks. "Yes, I am Princess," he smirked happily as the thought of him graphically gutting the evil stallion with his bare hooves or better yet; a sword. The thought of his heart forcefully torn out and stomped on repeatedly clouded his mind. Celestia bit her lip as she saw the evil grin form on his face. "Okay, but, perhaps I may recommend one thing?" she asked an eyebrow rose to her forehead. He nodded. "Of course Princess, what may it be?" Song asked his horn levitating a suit of armor. She looked to him in all seriousness. "Take your family, you shall learn why when the time comes Song Comet," she said putting a hoof to his back. Comet couldn't believe what he was hearing, Celestia was sending him, his mother, and his little sister to . . . wait, where are they going? "Where do I have to go?" Celestia smirked she knew he wasn't paying attention. "You must go to the Forest of Misery," she explained pointing her hoof to an even larger forest than the Everfree. "We used the Forest of Misery to hide the Elemental Swords: Wind, Fire, Earth, Water, and Air, the five swords together create an ultimate weapon, one that NightFall was weakened by. So go now go to the Forest of Misery!" she yelled Song Comet leaving her all alone. "You know he can't beat me . . . right?" Celestia gasped as the voice struck her mind. She looked to her left than right - nothing was there. - "I honestly hope you have a plan 'B' Tia," NightFall smirked as he was still hidden somewhere. "Where are you? C'mon Fall, don't tell me you're a chicken," she said looking left to right again - still nothing. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ "Ah Tia, I missed you sis, how's my little sister doing?" he asked. "You know how I feel? I feel excellent, I'm back!" he smirked as he planed his next move. "Where are you Fall?!" she hissed still looking around the hall. He smirked. - He's so obviously hidden. - "Remember how I can posse ponies?" he asked smiling as he knew this was a new ability. "You can do that?!" she gasped as she looked down her shadow got up from its spot under her. "I can now Tia," he used the shadow fiddling around swirling his body left and right around the second eldest. She tried to fight back. "You-You'll never get away! Some-pony will stop you!" she tried to squirm out of the grip of her own shadow squeezing tightly around her waist. "Gah! let me go!" she demanded feeling the shadow's grip tighten. He suddenly appeared in front of her. His bat wings slapped Celestia's muzzle. "No-pony can stop me!" yelled NightFall mimicking a male sounding Queen Chrysalis. "Say it with me," he said tightening the grip of the female alicorn. His horn began to glow pitch black. He manipulated Celestia's mouth as he said his line. Celestia was not amused in the slightest. Luna still in the moon for another fourteen years she is quite lonely. "Let go of me Fall," she demanded sticking her tongue out of her mouth immaturely. NightFall chuckled silently. "You run a kingdom and you're still childish, oh, and by the way, there's something you should know, there's a little . . . gift, for that Song Comet stallion of yours," he smirked walking away the shadow being controlled from afar. Next time on Fallen Empire: Blood Tears Song Comet saw as his sister picked up a note it read a few words: "Help . . . me, he's coming," that's all it was written in blood it looks like. His Mom looking as scared as Song is inside. It felt like a sword going through his fur - and skin - and was forced to lick the sword as he slowly died of a painful death. Song jumped as he heard a branch snap. He knew that different things were living in the Forest. He looked left to right as he kept walking along side his mother and sister. He rolled his eyes as he saw his sister scared over her normal standard. He saw as his Mom shifted her eyes left and right. After a while of walking both of the ponies saw Sweet Song was dragging behind. "C'mon Sweetie!" Wisp Wake yelled over her shoulder. "I would if I wasn't so tired," she used up most of her energy lifting her bag she decided to bring with her. Song Comet facehoofed at the mention. "C'mon Sweet, just a little further!" Song Comet brushed his hoof along his scar. Sweet Song got up slowly as she did fall to the ground due to her exhaustion and drama. "Fine," she dragged on along side her brother who was gently lifting her off the ground as she needed it with his gray aura. His scar along his eye was fading nicely. It still gave a painful feeling as he kept his sister in the air. As they pressed on his magic growing dimer and dimer as he walked slowly through the Forest of Misery only approximately a quarter away from the entrance of the forest. He from prolonged magic use with the pain he fell to the ground for a mere moment. Song Comet saw as his sister picked up a note it read a few words: "Help . . . me, he's coming," that's all it was, it was written in blood it looks like. A loud scream heard from a distance coming from Sweet Song.  His eyes widened as he rushed to the filly's side catching a glimpse of something, something faceless, something pale white, something taller than Princess Celestia herself. Song Comet looked to Sweet Song who looked horrified, it grew even worse as he realized something - something important - his mother. Another loud scream emitting through the rainy forest. Rushing to the source the two foals saw to their horror - a decapitated, mutilated Wisp Wake, on a tree her back being pierced by an oddly sharp tree, her mouth blood covered. The two saw a note in their mother's hoofwriting: "Run. Run now Song Comet and Sweet Song, but don't turn around . . . or he'll find you." That's all she wrote, a white imperfect 'X' surrounded by a circle. The letter as well written in blood.   ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ "Who's 'he'?" Sweet tilted her head quizzically finally breaking the silence. Song Comet looked away unsure, making sure he didn't turn his head totally around he rushed away from the spot. He looked to his hooves. Not watching where he was going he slammed into a tree a loud crash as he looked up seeing an odd sight, one that'll haunt his dreams forever a pony. One in the trees he looked like well, he didn't know how to describe him. His coat pale white, a black suit with a red tie, and worst of all, no face. Both ponies looked away from him as they started a full on gallop. Blindly running through the forest seeing a few notes, they counted them all, in all they had six. Suddenly when getting up they saw him, a gasp from both ponies as they rushed away from their current location. But where ever they seem to be, he's there. As Song Comet expects that NightFall pony is watching as they are running away from a fight. Soon, Song Comet stopped, which gained the attention of his sister. "What are you doing Comet!?" she asked her voice still slightly squeaky from age. Song didn't respond only took out a blade he snatched from his saddlebag. He looked left to right looking for that cursed pony. After a while he sighed as no sight of the slender stallion. He soon heard a snap of a twig and rose his sword to the air. It was nothing however. Song Comet bit his lip as he began to get antsy his bloodlust raising as moments passed. "Where is he?" Comet wondered as he kept his sword firmly in his gray aura his headache that subsided coming back. Then, suddenly as the blade lowered it was encased in a gray and red aura. "I'm with you brother," his sister smiled at him warming his heart. Soon a figure appeared in front of them, they heard stories of this pony. Slender Mane, a slender figure with no face, he's able to kill you if you are to stare into where his eyes should be. The two remembered it all too well, as well as some other stories. They lowered their heads as they made the sword go straight through the stallion's chest. The figure disappeared into thin air. They sighed and kept walking to the edge of the Forest of Misery where the castle is. This will become one hell of an adventure. Meanwhile Celestia finally stopped struggling in her shadow she was at the point if it was to go tighter she will die a horrible death. She slowly looked at her big brother. "Beautiful is it not sis?" he chuckled lightly as he turned to face the sun goddess. "Buck you Fall," she stated. "You will be stopped!" she hissed not moving at all. With a roll of his eyes NightFall brought his hoof along his sister's chin. "Oh, Tia, he might've beaten the first level but, can he beat level two?" he smirked Celestia scared at the thought of level two came to mind though she knows not what it is, she does know this: it isn't good. "What happens now Comet?" Song asked her voice squeaking a tad. Comet sighed, he can't fight it forever. "We find shelter and sleep," he stated a bit of anger in his voice. He doesn't want to sleep. //-------------------------------------------------------// Dreams of Terror //-------------------------------------------------------// Dreams of Terror Previously on Fallen Empire: Blood Tears "NightFall will rise," "NightFall will rise. . . again!" Soon he glanced to his lagging behind sister. "C'mon Sweet, hurry up, we got a lot of ground to cover!" he called behind his shoulder not giving the faintest clue of how tired he truly is. Sweet Song groaned as she tried to get to her brother. "What happens now Comet?" Song asked her voice squeaking a tad. Comet sighed, he can't fight it forever. "We find shelter and sleep," he stated a bit of anger in his voice. He doesn't want to sleep. Sweet Song though nervous also looked forward for sleep. "Okay, let's go," she sighed her eyes were already drooping downward. Song Comet bit his lip, he wasn't all that tired and who knows who or what is in the Forest of Misery, odds are that Slender Mane wasn't the last figure. Finally they made it to a cave. "This'll do I guess," Song Comet brushed a gray hoof across the jagged rocks. "I guess," Sweet Song groaned as she grabbed a pile of wet leaves to use as pillows. The sound of the raining was sudden and unexpected. One moment they were in a sunny landscape, then a darker drizzling landscape, then this. "Goodnight Sweet Song," he said clenching his sword in his gray aura with much force. Sweet Song taking notice. "Aren't you going to sleep?" she asked her voice a little weak from the running she had to do from Slender Mane. He glanced to her and shook his head. "No, I gotta make sure this'll be safe first," in truth he planned not to sleep. Soon he saw his sister fall asleep, he smiled at the sight. "Cute," he said smiling. He began to feel lightheaded as if he hadn't slept in years, though it was only a day. Suddenly Song fell over getting up he heard a voice. "Song Comet, Song Comet, come to me," the voice said it sounded fairly familiar. "Song Comet, come to me," it said the voice beginning to sound clearer. He looked to see his sister still sleeping silently. Song got up and walked to the voice, there he was; his father. "D-Dad, what the buck are you doing he-" he soon stopped mid-sentence as he grew nearer to his father. Whom was bleeding from the eyes. "What's wrong Song, too scared of your old man?" the voice grew deeper and deeper. Song clenched his eyes shut tightly. "You’re not real!" he screamed eyes still clenched shut. He felt his chin raised by a red aura. "What's a matter son? Don't recognize your own father?" the voice said the magic trying to meet his eyes. "Go away!" Comet demanded soon feeling his eyes open to the sight of NightFall. He saw his father chained to a table. Suddenly NightFall stuck a large sword into the pony. Blood squirted everywhere, his coat being drenched in his father's crimson red liquid his last sight was his father with no eyes and smirking at him in a twisted sense. Song Comet opened his eyes, seeing a pony figure standing over him. The pony was a dark blue, black mane, and a dismembered pony head as his cutie mark. With one quick jump Song Comet avoided the eyeless looking pony's knife and grabbed Sweet Song. In his running motion he looked back, the pony only walking to him. An eyebrow rose as the pony suddenly disappeared. Song Comet slowly lost speed clenching his sword with his magic. Soon the pony was right in front of him. With one swoosh the blade split the pony in half blood dripping from the . . . thing's neck, and black ooze dripping from the black eye sockets. Song gulped and looked to his sister. "You ready to continue?" he asked his younger sister who nodded quickly. They left that behind them. "Whatever is coming I'm with you brother," Sweet Song jumped at Song Comet hugging him tightly. He'll never understand why Princess Celestia sent him with his family . . . ever. Meanwhile NightFall sighed, there's but one more challenge they must overcome before him. "You will be stopped Fall!" Celestia hissed a quick pinch at her waist was felt. NightFall rolled his eyes. "You know, sometimes I think you hate me," he sighed putting on a sad face. Celestia remembers what he used to look like, he never had bat wings. NightFall had normal wings or he used to. "What happened to your old wings?" she asked an eyebrow rose to the air. His wings spread to its fullest extent. "This, I just got a while back, Tia," NightFall's wings brushed against Princess Celestia's coat. It occurred to Celestia, maybe he isn't evil . . . Next time on Fallen Empire: Blood Tears "What do you think is next Sweet Song?" she asked scared slightly. Comet bit his lip, they've heard of that murderer as well. "I-I don't know Sweet," he rubbed the back of his mane. "Oh," Sweet Song sighed lightly. A smirk landed on NightFall's face. "Let's see how Song Comet deals with the last challenge, shall we Tia?" he chuckled in the trademark insane tone. A frown grew on Celestia's face. "What is the next challenge Fall?" she asked not moving from her spot of torture. "You'll see . . ." //-------------------------------------------------------// Song's Revenge //-------------------------------------------------------// Song's Revenge Last time on Fallen Empire: Blood Tears "C'mon Sweet, hurry up, we got a lot of ground to cover!" "What happens now Comet?" Song Comet opened his eyes, seeing a pony figure standing over him. The pony was a dark blue, black mane, and a dismembered pony head as his cutie mark. "You ready to continue?" "Whatever is coming I'm with you brother," "What happened to your old wings?" "This, I just got a while back, Tia," NightFall's wings brushed against Princess Celestia's coat. Comet bit his lip, they've heard of that murderer as well. "I-I don't know Sweet," he rubbed the back of his mane. "Oh," Sweet Song sighed lightly. It occurred to the filly she has never been this scared in her life. She sighed as she looked to her hooves. Comet looked back at the dragging behind Sweet Song. "C'mon Sweet, we need to get there before sundown eh, I think the sun lowered," he had no idea the time; the Forest of Misery it messes with watches you see. "I'm coming brother," said Sweet Song from afar catching up to her elder brother. Sweet Song she wasn't as scared on the outside. She keeps herself tough in front of her brother no matter what. It's her desire - she gets little respect however - Sweet saw how her brother was having some issues; the dream really getting to him scared for his life. He kept dragging on though, revenge still clouding his mind in desire to stick his sword straight through the Dream Stallion's chest, taking whatever heart he can and stomp on it, then lighting it on fire! Sweet, she's just there because she was told to. Song Comet rubbed her coat gently as he walked. "Don't worry Sweet, we'll get him, don't worry about that," Song assured his younger sister. A sudden wave of dizziness came over both ponies as they walked. The two decided it best to take a breather and catch their breath, soon however falling asleep. Meanwhile Celestia tried to struggle her way out of the shadow of herself, still failing as the shadow clenched her waist tightly. "I wouldn't try it Tia, it'll only get tighter," NightFall reminded her as she struggled. "Shut it Fall!" she hissed soon following her statement a cough. NightFall rolled his crimson red eyes. "When will you learn Tia? I am better than you, in every way!" he laughed squeezing the mare tightly. Celestia remembered something she had forgotten until now. "I remember that song, do you?" she hates that song he sang. "Do I, the one who sang it remember?" he laughed in which he began singing. NightFall: What's a matter Tia? Do you not see what I see? To me it's as clear as night and day! Celestia: Why would you do that? NightFall: I deserve better, I deserve more than you could ever make. Celestia: That could be wrong as for what I see NightFall: Be quiet and just go away, I'll not bother you, ever again. That is if you keep your mouth shut! Celestia: I can't so that, the damage has been done. I must tell every-pony of the pony. NightFall: Oh poor Tia, you don't have to do that keep your mouth shut and peace it'll be. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Song woke up another nightmare, but this one was different. He saw another pony standing over him, as before. The pony hushed him and told him three simple words: "Go, to, sleep," Song jumped up picking up his sister waking up from his hasty grab. "Huh, Song Comet, wh-what a matter?" she asked rubbing her eyes. Suddenly he saw behind the tree the same tall, pale white coated pony. The pony: Welcome dear ponies, to the end of your road, just lay down here and I'll make it painless. Song Comet: Never will we do as told by the likes of you. That smile is dead. The pony: Ignore it for a second; take this time to rest . . . your head. Give it another thought; let me do what I do best! Sweet Song: Get away from us you big meanie! Go find another pony to bother. The pony: Hush little one, I'm here for your brother, you'll wait your turn. Song Comet: Leave her out of it. It's me you want. The pony: True, but I think I'll make an acceptation, my bloodlust rising to the sky. Song Comet: What do you want who do you work for and who are you? The pony: My name is Jeff, I work for NightFall, and what I want is simple: go to sleep. Song Comet: No we won't it'll be you go to the grave where you belong! ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ NightFall: Hush little Tia, don't say a thing, become my little Princess, hush little Tia, never say a word ‘bout this . . . ever. Celestia: I lost my dearest father, you smothered him in his dreams, and you killed my mother in the re-al-ity! NightFall: Tell me you hate me and I'll be sad, just stay in your quiet state, done with this, I'll be on my way, I'll see you later, Tia. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Jeff: Shh, hush I'll make it all better, if you sound off, a nightmare you will have, be quiet and be forgotten! Sweet Song: We will never do as told by the likes of you! *Clash* Song Comet clenched his eyes shut as the sound went off. He slowly opened them. Sweet Song, she won, the pony lay on the ground defeated and bleeding out. he pony chuckled manically. "Goodnight, every-pony, sweet dreams," his eyes fell shut soon after. Song Comet looked to the edge of the forest; they're almost to the castle. "I can see it Sweet Song!" he smiled happily. Sweet took no time in running. Song Comet all the same in running. The two ran to the castle bursting through the door. They saw the swords in the dead center of the room. Song smiled "This is east isn't it Sweet?" with out letting her respond he went full gallop stopped by the Dream Stallion himself. "What, you thought I wasn't going to try and stop you myself?" he chuckled crazily. Comet's eyes narrowed as his target was set; the Elemental Swords. He galloped toward the swords just behind the stallion. "Honestly, I am excited for this," with that he as normal swung his horn his magic glowing the dark black magic he has. His red eyes fixated on Song Comet. Song Comet ducked under the Dream Stallion. "Shouldn't have waved high NightFall," he said the swords in his hooves. The swords weren't working however. NightFall took the opportunity to lunge at Song Comet. Song Comet's chest split open by NightFall's jagged horn blood dripped from his horn. Sweet Song's jaw dropped as she ran to hide. NightFall looked to where Sweet Song hid. She held her breath as the stallion walked right past her. She moved column to column until she got to where Song Comet's lays dead - a big gap to show. - She hugged the dead body, and then she clenched the swords in her magic. NightFall looked to the mare; the swords glowing as they were held in her magic. "What! It's working!" he went full gallop, stopped by a force of magic. The swords combined into one; the Sword of Light. Sweet Song narrowed her eyes as she rushed to him sword in her magic firmly. Suddenly as the sword came close to NightFall a beam of light blinded both ponies. The blindness faded slowly. Sweet Song saw nothing more than a tall, black and white alicorn normal wings, her eyes, different, now their dark purple. Princess Celestia appeared next to the stallion. The stallion looked to Celestia; suddenly wrapping his hooves around the mare. "I am so, so sorry, I-I don't know what came over me! I-I-I missed my younger sister!" he hugged Celestia crying along with him. "I missed you too," Celestia said serenely. Soon the ponies were back in town, a party for the oldest member of the royal siblings. He knew what he'd done was wrong. Hell, he can't truly remember everything that happened. He approached Sweet Song. "I-I-I'm sorry for your loss, I, Prince NightFall, shall take you, Sweet Song, under my wing," he smirked embracing the filly like a mother or father. A smile came across the sun princess' face. "Maybe I should get an apprentice," she admitted to herself pondering the idea.
