Chapter 1
"Princess Platinum, we've given you your three weeks." The red stallion rose from his seat, glaring across the table.  Above them, jury for each tribe sat- the muddy earth ponies to the right, the elegant unicorns to the left and in the middle, the cautious pegasi.
The royal purple-blue princess rolled her lavender eyes. "I've told you once and I'll tell you again, commander hurricane. The un icorns will not take sides. We are far to graceful to be involved in something so brutish as..." She clenched her teeth. "War."
Boos from every side of the jury but the unicorns escalated around the chamber until Hurricane roared for silence. He glared at the princess, resting both hooves on the desk.
"We pegasi will NOT take this lightly, platinum." He spat. "Are we not your alliees? All we ask for is help against the enemy."
"The earth ponies are our allies also." Princess platinum retorted. "We shan't harm our friends."
"The pegasi could devastate you in an instant!" Hurricane hissed, pushing his chair out noisily. The tension in the room grew signigantly. The unicorn party protested, murmuring loudly.
"The unicorns would conquer you before you let your first barbarian out of his cage!"
Both sides began to fuss noisily until all three tribe leaders yelled for silence. "Chancellor Pudding Head," Platinum said. "You haven't spoken all this time- what is your opinion on the matter?"
"Leave that mud-pony outta this!" Hurricane spat, knocking some papers to the ground with anger.
"Mud pony? You plebeian! You feather head!" Pudding-head growled. "As you know the only thing stopping us from going to war, COMMANDER, is the earth pony ability to grow food. If you want, all that can just disappear and you can starve."
Hurricane flattened his ears and grit his teeth. He knew that he'd been beaten. "Alright..." Hurricane grunted. "I-I'll continue peacefully."
"But wheres the fun in that?" A devious voice appeared in the background. Shortly after, a body appeared to match it. A body with the head of a pony and the body made up of all sorts of things.
"Its a draconequus!" An earth pony yelled.
"Not just draconequus." The creature laughed. "Discord, god of chaos. Perhaps you've heard of me?" He snapped his fingers and chancellor pudding head's head turned into that of a chickens. Platinum looked flabbergasted and Hurricane was struggling not to burst out laughing.
"I know. Hilarious!" Discord chuckled to himself. "But really now, I didn't come here for nothing. In fact, the party is only just getting started!" At his will, the sturdy castle transformed itself into a mound of thin, green jello.
"Cluck cluck!" Chancellor pudding head said.
"What do you want from us?" Platinum asked. "Turn the royal court back to stone and sieze this before you hurt somepony!"
"As your new overlord I don't think thats in my schedule." Discord said, summoning himself a kingly robe and crown.
"New overlord?" Commander Hurricane yelled. "Not if I have anything to do with it! If this land belongs to any of us its me!" He dived at discord, pummeling him in the chest. "Take that!" He grunted. He turned around and gave Discord a steady kick in the side. "That ones for my personal benefits!"
Discord rolled his eyes and snapped his fingers. Instantly, commander Hurricane had been shrunken down to half his normal size. "Buzz, buzz, goes the fly." Discord yawned and with two fingers picked the minituare commander up and placed him in an equally small cage he had just created. Commander Hurricane protested and screamed at Discord who took no attention. "If you'll excuse me," he said. "I have some much needed chaos to create."
"Oh dear." Princess Platinum sighed. She used her magic to retun both Puddinghead and Hurricane to their normal forms.
"That idiot! Does he know who is dealing with? Does he not know that the pegasi are a mighty race of warriors who should not be crossed?" Commander Hurricane growled. "Troops! Assemble with me before discord! We must drive him away!"
The jury of pegasi dived from the room in formation like a flock of heavily armoured birds, commander hurricane leading the way. Princess Platinum sighed and reluctantly followed while Chancellor Pudding-head stayed behind, burying his head into a wall of Jello.
When the two parties arrived, Discord was sitting on a large throne he had created, laughing as he altered everything in sight. Princess Platinum jumped as a tree became a card board cut out right before her very eyes. "Sieze this!" She called to Discord. "You are defiling my city!"
Commander Hurricane looked down. "Ah, Platinum. Come to join the fight?" Before Platinum could answer he thumped her on the back and said, "Excellent, we'll make a warrior out of you yet." He used a hoof to cut teams and direct orders. "Squadron A, you handle an air strike. Squadron B, attack directly. Squadron C, your in charge of defense and unicorns, you handle distance attacks and defense. Ready? Attack!" Hurricane let out a battle cry and charged forward, hooves outstretched.
Discord yawned. "You bore me." He clapped his hands and the ground began to shake and crumble, splitting the earth and overbalancing the unicorns.
Commander Hurricane continued to punch at Discord, when suddenly he felt a tap on his shoulder. "What is it Private Pansy?" He groaned, exasperated. "Can you not see we are in the middle of a battle?"
"H-h-h-hurricane..." Private Pansy stammered.
Commander Hurricane rolled his eyes. "That is my name. What?"
"H-H-H-HURRICANE!" Private Pansy squealed.
The screams of his troops made Commander Hurricane look up. He widened his eyes. "Evasive action!" He screamed above the roar of the wind. They were sucked into a deadly wind as Discord watched with widened eyes, surprised at his own genius. Then, he started to laugh. "Commander Hurricane, taken out by a hurricane. Hilarious!" He wiped a tear from his face and continued to watch. Soon, pegasi were scattered everywhere.
"Retreat!" Hurricane called. Princess Platinum, the unicorns and the rest of the pegasi took a moment to recover and then fled. This was a threat too great for even their combined efforts to defeat.
