Chapter 2-Where Am I?

When I reached my room, I opened the door, walked in, and slammed the door shut behind me. I just walked and then jumped into my bed. I was furious at the stupidity of my family. I wanted to release my anger so badly, but I refused to let my anger control me. I remembered as a brony, I needed to 'Love and Tolerate'. I was so angry, and so sleepy.

I decided to take a nap and cool my head. I don't normally fall asleep angry, but today I made an exception. I drifted off and began to snore. I dreamed of going to Equestria and staying there. Going to a place were I could be myself and not be judged. I dreamed of being in my perfect place. I wanted my dream to never end, but it did weirdly. I wake up, still feeling a bit sleepy. When I opened my eyes, I turned on my side and rolled onto my back, or I should have. I fell off my bed a could feel myself still falling. I began to freak the heck out as I fell. I was scared of heights, so I closed my eyes and waited for the feeling to end. I felt a sharp sting on my back and I sucked my teeth as anyone in pain would. I was in pure agony, it felt like I hit a rock or something, and dead on my back doesn't help it.

"Ow ow ow! My back, what the heck happened?!" I asked, pained. I slowly opened my eyes and was shocked at the sight that met. I was in the middle of an open grassy field. My body wouldn't let me do anything but drop my jaw. Just when I thought it couldn't get any weirder, I heard a strange voice behind me.

"Howdy there stranger. How y'all doin'?" It said. I jumped at the voice and spun around. I met an orange pony with blond hair and a stetson. I remembered her as Applejack from my favorite My Little Pony cartoon. I couldn't decide to freak out by fanboying over her or the fact that she was in arm's distance away from me.

"Uh...are you Applejack?" I asked, too freaked out to even react. She tilted her head and looked at my curiously.

"How did you know my name?" She asked.

"Not important. If you're here, then your friends are close by right?" I said. I started to switch from pure confusion to complete eagerness. Applejack nodded her head.

"You're right. Twi, Rarity and Pinkie are right behind me." She started. A pink mane stuck out behind Applejack, I know Pinkie Pie was right there, and Twilight looked up from behind and so did Rarity.

"Wait. That's only four. Where's Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy?" I asked. I heard a muffled sound from underneath me.

"Um...excuse me Mr. Whatever you are. You're sitting on Rainbow Dash." I heard a shy voice behind me say. I knew all too well that it was Fluttershy. I quickly turned and met the yellow mare face to face.

"You mean I'm sitting on Rainbow Dash, right now?" I asked. Fluttershy nodded. I blushed red and jumped up. Rainbow Dash gasped for air. I covered my face from embarrassment.

"It's about time! I thought I was gonna die! What the heck is wrong with you?!" Rainbow Dash yelled at me. She carried a hint of annoyance in her anger. I was not in the best of moods at the time. I switched from anger to pain to confusion to joy, now to sadness. I didn't say anything, I just fell on my butt and broke out in tears. I felt like nothing was going to get better for me ever again.

I felt a hoof on my shoulder. I looked up through my tear-filled eyes and saw Pinkie Pie. She started petting my back.

"Aww, don't cry. It'll be okay. I don't like to see my friends cry." Pinkie Pie said smiled.

"Way to go Dash. You made 'em cry. Whatcha gon do nah?" Applejack said, with a slightly defensive tone. Rainbow Dash looked at me crying. Twilight and Pinkie were petting my back. Rainbow looked a bit upset at my crying. She walks over to me. I look up and wipe my eyes.

"Hey kid, I'm sorry. I just felt suffocated. You accept my apology?" She said.

"I-it's okay. I've just been through alot. It's not your fault." I said, feeling alittle better. Everyone...or everypony I should say, surrounded me and studied my body. Rarity was the pony to ask the hundred dollar question.

"What are you?" She asked. My eyes went wide, I expected that question to be asked earlier.

"Well if you want to know. I'm a human." I answered. The girls all except Rainbow Dash scrunched their muzzles.

"I know what those are. I read about them in 'Daring Do and the Mystery Realm of Humans!'" Dash said, excitedly. I nodded confirming that there was a realm of humans.

"Oh! So you're from another world?! That's so cool! I knew you weren't a pony because you weren't anypony I've seen before!" Pinkie Pie said, now excited by the news.

"So if you're a human, then you must of come from another world. Where are you from?" Twilight asked. I shrugged my shoulders answered as easy as possible.

"I'm from earth. But none of you should be real." All of them put an offended look on their face. I winced at what I said. I tried to make up a recovery for my stupid response. "I-I-I-I mean in my world. In my world, you're all from my favorite cartoon. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic." The offense had subsided and a wave of relief washed over me.

"So what problems have ya been havin'?" Applejack asked. I turned to the farm pony and said.

"Family rejection. Being a brony doesn't really help." They all looked at me confused, again.

"What's a brony?" Fluttershy asked. I realized that I was from different world.

"Remember when the ponynet connected with the internet?" Rarity asked. Rainbow Dash remembered what Rarity was saying.

"Oh yeah! Then it found a group of young people that are fans of us. Some of them pretty cool." I smiled at the fact that I didn't have to explain. I thought of something that didn't hit me til just then.

"So no one is going to ask my name?" I said, teasingly. They all gasped and surrounded me remembering they forgot to.

"Oh, right! Sorry. So what is your name?" Twilight asked. I didn't want to tell them my real name, it was way too embarrassing. I decided to tell them my nickname.

"Just call me 'Flame Boy'." I said puffing my chest out a bit.

"A bit braggy, aren't you?" Applejack asked. She was teasing me I knew it. I shrugged and smiled. I finally got to my feet and brushed myself off.

"We should go to the library. Maybe you could learn about humans more if we go." I suggested. Twilight liked the idea so well, she practically pushed me from my standing still toward the library. Everyone else followed. I knew this would be not just fun, but exciting.
