Clouds and Animals

Rainbow knew somthing wasn't right today. She just knew it.

Rainbow Dash walks into Pinkie Pie's bake shop, having an odd feeling in her stomach.

She walks up to the counter, seeing Mrs. Cake there, taking orders.

"Hey Mrs. Cake, Can I have a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting?" Rainbow asks, a headache starting to double with her stomach ache.

Mrs. Cake sighs. "Magic Word, Miss Dash?"

Rainbow rolls her eyes. "Please"

Before the rainbow headed girl could blink, there was a red velvet cupcake in front of her.

"Thanks" She said before heading outside onto a bench.

The girl licks the perfectly piped frosting off the top and tries to think of what could be going wrong.

After a few minutes of intense thinking later, she drops her cupcake.

"Fluttershy" She whispers, her eyes go big.

She gets up from the bench and starts to run to the 15 year old girls home, wiping tears from her eyes.

"No! D-Daddy! N-No!" Fluttershy whimpers, shivering in fear, a leather belt slapping her back and butt.

She gets flipped over, only to feel punches in her gut. Her father throws a punch at her head, making it bleed.

His long fingernails scratch down her pale legs, tears running down her face.

She feels the blood running down her neck and head, she yelps and howlels in pain, being caused by her own family member.

Ever since her mother had died, these physical beatings happend almost every other day for the past year.

He adds one more punch to her rib cage and leaves, going to play poker with his friends.

Fluttershy sits there, she cannot move, her body hurts to bad. She has open wounds on her skin and neck, along with bruises.

Despite her condition, she starts to sing.

Why our father, in heaven, did this have to happen.

Mother is gone. Her sweet manor, and unconditional love

She coughs, seeing all the blood on her sheets. She lay there tears in her eyes.

Rainbow Bursts into the younger girls house, running up to the bedroom of her pink haired crush.

She swings the door open, to see such a sweet girl, laying on the bed, just in a bra and panties, wounds and soures all over her body.

"S-Shy" Rainbow says, approaching the girl with tears in her eyes.

The Rainbow headed girl looks at the others body, her eyes drawing to her rib cage.

Dash touches it, and Fluttershy cries out in pain.

'Yup, Broken' Rainbow thought, scooping the fragile girl up into her arms.

She needed proper care, at the hospital.

Fluttershy wrapped her legs around Rainbow's torso with her arms around her neck.

She whimpers into Dash's hair, this causes Rainbow's heart to break. The beatings have been getting worse.

Rainbow Dash strokes the soft pink hair of her best friend, (Hoping to be somthing more soon)

"Shhh, Shy, We're going to the hospital, Don't worry." With that, Rainbow zooms out of the house, making it to the hospital in less than 5 minutes.

The lady at the front desk rushes over to Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.

"Do you know what happend?" The lady asks, calling for a doctor.

"All I know is that her dad did this to her, and I think she broke a rib" Rainbow says, trying to fight back tears.

"Alright," A doctor brings a stretcher and motions for Rainbow to put her on it.

Rainbow does, not willingly, but she knows she has to.

"Alright, we will call you back in a second once we see how bad her injuries really are." A doctor with pink and purple hair says.

"Kay" Rainbow says, picking up her phone and dialing each of her friends and saying

"Come Now! Fluttershy is hurt, at the hospital" and hanging up.

Before she knew, the other 4 of them were there, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Twilight.

"Where is she!?!" Rarity yells, hating the idea that her sweet and gentle friend is hurt.

"She is back in the exam room, getting checked out, seeing how bad her inju-" She gets cut off by a doctor calling out to her.

"You, with the rainbow hair, come here."

Rainbow waves goodbye to her friends and joins the doctor.

"What's going on with Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash asks, trying to keep her cool, though she felt as she were going to explode

She clears her throat. "Well, she has two broken ribs, and the back of her head needs stitches. She is only 15, correct?"

"Correct"

"We need a legal adult to sign for us to do the work, Are you of legal age?"

Rainbow sighs, "No, I am only 16... Almost 17 though!"

"Alright, well, do you know anyone that is of the legal age?" The doctor asks, looking up at the very tall rainbow headed girl.

"Uhm.........Just a second."

Rainbow dashes over to her friends,

"Rarity, you are 20, Right?"

"Yes Darling!" Rarity says in her posh voice.

Without a heartbeat Rainbow drags Rarity over to where the doctor was standing with paperwork.

"SIGN!" Rainbow yells, her face turning red with frustration and sadness.

Rarity stays over with the doctor and talks about 'The Law' and 'What they were going to perform on Fluttershy' .

Rainbow goes to sit back down, when she does, she slunches down into the chair.

"WOW DASHIE!! You're crush for Fluttershy has really gone up some notches!" Pinkie says, smiling, trying to lighten the mood

"No Kidding, I was going to tell her today.... Don't worry, I will tell her when I see her next." Rainbow says, pulling on her hair.

"Pinkie Promise?" Pinkie asks, still not believing her.

"Cross my heart, Hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye" Rainbow says, following the words with the motions

"Okay, We got a deal!?"

"Deal!"

Rarity comes back.

"Well, they are going to get started, they said that we should come back just before closing, so about 2 hours" Rarity says, upset

"LET'S GO TO SUGARCUBE CORNER!!" Pinkie Pie yells, only to be silenced by the lady at the front desk.

"Sure, Okay, Let's meet up there, I have to go grab some things, so why don't you guys get going," Twilight says.

"Kay, See ya there!" Pinkie says, quietly- Well, not quietly, but not as loud as she did before.

With that, 4 of them leave, Rainbow refuses to though, she was staying in this chair.

She would have left if there weren't Daring Doo books there.

Rainbow tries to do math in her head.

'Okay, So if it takes me an hour to read one book, and there are 10 books in the series, I should be good!

---------- 2 Hours Later----------

Rainbow, Through one and a half Daring Doo book, wonders when she can see Fluttershy.

Sure enough, 5 minutes later the doctor comes out.

"Rainbow Hair Girl, come here" The doctor says, motioning with her finger.

Rainbow hops up and dashes over to the doctor,

"Can I see her?" Dash says, smiling ear to ear.

"Sure.... Room 52" The doctor says, stepping out of the way

"Oh, But be careful! She is pretty groggy!"

Rainbow hears, but doesn't bother to answer, she walks down the hallway

"49, 50, 51...... 52!"

The rainbow headed girl turns the doorknob slowly and slips inside, to see her best friend, awake and looking at the ceiling.

"H-hey Shy'" Rainbow says, sitting down on the bed with her, causing Fluttershy to look over.

"Dashie" Fluttershy manages to say, her voice cracking and sounding groggy

Rainbow grabs the young girls hand and rubs it, a little smile coming onto Shy's face.

'You Pinkie Promised! You can't break that!!' Rainbow thinks to herself.

"Uhm, I Uhm, Need to tell you somthing" Rainbow says, her hands starting to sweat.

"Yes?" Her voice drives Rainbow mad, she can't take it any longer.

"I Love You" Rainbow says, before Fluttershy can say anything, Rainbow's lips are on Fluttershy's.

Rainbow pulls the younger girl againsed her, savouring the flavor of her lips, they tasted like candy, surprisingly.

Fluttershy pulls away, gasping for breath. She blushes a bright red, her jaw dropped.

She figures out what just happend, and Rainbow deserves an answer.

"I-I Love Y-You too." Shy manages to say, in one of the lowest voices that she could, but Dash could understand, of all the years hanging out with Fluttershy, Rainbow could figure out what she was saying.

Rainbow climbes so her chest is on Fluttershy's back, she wraps her hands around the pink haired girl and smiles.

"Good. Want somthing to eat?" Rainbow asks, as a nurse comes in with a plate of food.

She sets it down beside her patient, and leaves.

Fluttershy puts the tray on her lap, taking the top off one of the plates, Peanut Butter sandwich.

She sees a purple liquid... grape juice.

Fluttershy cuts the sandwich in half, and gives a half to Rainbow Dash, who finishes it in about 2 bites, Fluttershy on the other hand, nibbles. They both eat in silence. Only the faint sound of chewing can be heard.

Once they are done, Rainbow plants a kiss on Fluttershy's cheek.

"YES!!!! They're together!" Pinkie whispers, watching from the window.

"I Love You" Rainbow Says.

"I Love You Too" Fluttershy says, smiling, her blush popping up on her cheeks.

'This day just got 100% cooler' Rainbow thinks

The rest of the girls, (Twilight, Applejack and Rarity) go over to the front desk knowing that it has been about 2 hours since they have seen their friend.

"Hello, We are looking for Fluttershy," Twilight says, putting on one of her famous smiles.

The lady at the front desk scans the paper mumbling "Fluttershy, Fluttershy, Fluttershy" until she finally finds the name.

"Oh! Yes, Room 52" The nurse says, pointing down a hall.

The girls immediately run down the hall and find room 52.

They run in, seeing Fluttershy sleeping in the bed, and Rainbow's arms around her.

"She is all mine now. My possession" Rainbow says, a smug look on her face.

"Great Darling, So you are together now?" Rarity questions.

Rainbow gives a slow nod, answering 'Yes'

Pinkie Pie walks in "Good job Dashie!" Pinkie yells, waking Shy' up.

As that happenes, The nurse walks in, "Excuse me girls, Visiting hours are over, I have to ask you to leave, we will be releasing her tomorrow"

Rainbow groans as the nurse walks out, "Guess we have to leave." Rainbow says, sighing.

"Come on girls, Let's go. We will catch up with you outside, Rainbow" Twilight says, wanting to give them a couple more minutes alone.

"Okay,"

The girls exit the room.

"Bye Shy'" Rainbow Says, giving Fluttershy a kiss on the lips, both saying their goodbyes, Rainbow leaves the room

'Today is an awesome day'  she thought, going outside to meet her friends.
