//-------------------------------------------------------// Ponies in Zombie Country -by SeafoodDinner- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: A Spell Gone Wrong //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: A Spell Gone Wrong It was a normal day in the town called Ponyville, where all of the ponies were nice and peaceful, nothing bad happens, well most of the time. And in a big tree, there’s a lavender unicorn and her friends that are talking about stuff, lets see what they’re up too... “Twilight, are you sure about this,” said Spike. “Don’t worry Spike, this spell can’t go wrong. This teleportation spell would only take us not far from the library. The worst case scenario would be teleporting into the edge of the Everfree Forest,” said Twilight. “How are we gonna go with you Twilight? We have no magic, and we can’t just walk where you are or let you walk all the way back here because the Everfree is a dangerous place like pears and parasprites,” said Pinkie Pie. Most of the ponies didn’t listen of what Pinkie said. “But darling, do you really need all of those books,” said Rarity. “Yes Rarity, I do need these books. I’ll be reading and studying them on the way back home when I do my spell,” replied Twilight. “Umm, Twilight is it really important that we have to come along too, if that’s ok with you,” Said Fluttershy. “Yes, Fluttershy, this spell can teleport me and a bunch of ponies that’s around me, so it’s a perfect thing to test it along with my friends,” Said Twilight. “Come on Twilight! Just do the spell already! I’m tired of sitting around and doing nothing,” Said Rainbow Dash. “Fine, but does everypony have things for them so just in case something goes wrong,” Said Twilight. “Yeah Twilight, I have this cake, this cupcake, this and that and this sweet delicious ch-” “Alright Pinkie I think that’s enough for now! I suppose everypony has everything they need, right,” said Twilight. Everypony nodded and mostly everything is now set to go. “Hey Twi, you sure this is safe,” said Applejack. “Yes it is perfectly safe. Has everypony also eaten before we go,” Said Twilight. “Yeah, I’ve eaten so much I’ll be energized for the rest of the day, if I had to do any work, that is,” said Rainbow Dash. “Darling, we’re starting to get a little impatient already. It would be great if you get started already,” Said Rarity. “Rarity, this is extremely special. It’s also dangerous. There’s like, a lot of ways that can go wrong,” said Twilight. “Don’t worry sugarcube, is somethin’ goes wrong, we’ll be here to fix it,” Said Applejack. “Alright, if you say so Applejack,” said Twilight. Then she started the spell, all of a sudden, wind started to blow very hard and Twilight was focusing very hard on the spell. But then Pinkie’s tail started to twitch. “Twilight look out for that flowerpot,” yelled Pinkie. Then suddenly a flowerpot hit’s Twilight on the head. Then she her magic goes nuts and in a few seconds all of the ponies (including Spike) suddenly disappeared. ***** It’s the middle of the night, 11:38 to be exact. Mostly in the middle of nowhere, there’s a small base in which provides the shelter and protection of its residents. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a bright purple light shines in the distance for a few seconds. “We have seen a suspicious purple light at 11:38 P.M., a mile or two away. Send 3 scouts to investigate immediately!” “But boss, it’s almost midnight. Most of us are already asleep,” Said a worker. “I don’t care! This might be important, send them now, immediately,” said the boss. “Fine, I’ll do it, but they are not gonna like being interrupted in their sleep,” said the worker. Then sooner or later, three sleepy scouts are sent to investigate the area where that mysterious purple light came out. ***** “Where are we,” said Rainbow Dash. “I’m not sure, but where did that flowerpot even come from,” questioned Twilight. “How in tarnation did it become night? It was just mornin’ just minutes ago,” questioned Applejack. “I’m not sure, but it feels a bit different around here. We’re not even in Ponyville at all,” said Twilight. “Girls, I don’t want to interrupt, but what’s that over there,” said Fluttershy as she points her hoof to the direction of three small lights in the distance. “What the hay are those things? How did they find out where we are,” questioned Rainbow. “It’s not that hard to spot a bright purple light in the middle of the night Rainbow Dash,” replied Twilight. “Why don’t we just hide and give a surprise? It will be perfect in this time of night!” “That’s it Pinkie! We’ll hide behind those bushes and hear what they’re saying,” said Twilight. “But Twilight, we are in someplace that isn't like Ponyville, what if it’s something we don’t understand,” replied Spike. “Spike, you’re here! I thought the spell didn't take you, but I guess it did after all.” “Uh, Twilight, what about the question I asked.” “Oh right, I’ll give myself and everypony else a translation spell. I still have the magic left to make one, and luckily, it’ll last a few days.” “Alright, that’s great, but it should be a good time to hide now,” said Rainbow Dash. The things got closer as the time went by. Twilight casts her translation spell and along her friends, they hide in the bushes, like nothing was ever there. They peeked out of the bushes a little to see what they are. They can’t see a very good glimpse of the creatures, but one of them was holding a very bright flashlight. Obviously, there were three of them, but they looked more like robots rather than ponies. The ponies stayed quiet as they heard their conversation going on. “This is ridiculous, waking up in the middle of the night and wasting five minutes just to drive two miles to get here! Can’t these machines go any faster?” “I guess not, but that’s what kind of limits we get from using designs off from a television show, don’t you think?” The ponies watch as they argue about things that none of the ponies understand every single bit. Twilight gets a bit nervous of the fact that they might get caught, but in this time on night, chances of it happening are slim. “Two miles in five minutes, that seems quite slow to me,” whispered Rainbow Dash. “Rainbow, those things can go 24 miles per hour when you do the math, which is quite fast when you think about it, well you could fly faster than them though,” replied Twilight quietly, still trying not to get caught. “Is it time to surprise them yet,” questions Pinkie. “No, we won’t do anything that will get us caught! We don’t know what those things will do to us,” replied Twilight. They sat there quietly as the machines find some evidence that the ponies were there, such as hair and a mark on the asphalt where the Mane 6 teleported on. They searched around the area for an hour, which was a tough challenge of being extremely quiet. Once they left the ponies made a sigh of relief, as they are safe and sound from the creatures they have just saw, for now... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Busted //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Busted "Well then, where will we spend the night?" Questioned Twilight. "Certainly that's more important. I'm not going to sleep on the ground where it's dirty," said Rarity. "I don't care where I sleep, I just wanna sleep!" exclaimed Applejack. "Applejack, if you were a pegasus like me, you'd know that I can sleep on the clouds. I don't see any clouds, where are they?" questioned Rainbow Dash. "Obviously it's a clear night, and by how warm it is it might be either spring or summer," said Twilight. "Say Twilight, do you know what were those things," Said Spike. "Yeah, Twilight, they sounded like robots or something to me!" Exclaimed Rainbow Dash. "I honestly don't know. They could be robots, but they had emotions, so they could be something else. They could also be just ponies in machines," Twilight responded to both of their questions. "Twilight, you know ponies don't make those things. They might be evil, they might not even be ponies! They can be monster like creatures looking for us so they can eat us!" "Rainbow Dash, if creatures or aliens are smart enough to make those things, I doubt they waste an alien by eating it. They would most likely study it." "For crying out loud!" Exclaimed Spike. "I just want to go to sleep! Lets get this over with already!" "Spikes right Rainbow Dash, we need to sleep, we can talk about this later," said Rarity. Twilight and the rest of her friends start to sleep through the night on the ground, which is very uncomfortable. Twilight worries in her sleep that they might be found, especially in their sleep. She probably knows they will, but they're safe for now. It is now morning, and it would be a day since they went to this strange world they have never been to before. One by one, they ponies wake up as they start their exploration around the place. "Where do we go?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Maybe where those black paths can lead us to wherever they'll take us! Maybe to where they are, waiting to give us a party!" exclaimed Pinkie. "I don't think so Pinkie. These black paths are what these creatures or whatever are traversing on. It's like a pathway to go to other places." Twilight explained. "Well, why not go to that place over there where they came from?" questioned Pinkie. "Are you crazy? If they see us, we'll get captured, and they going to do some things I don't want to know, but we will go over there, but not too close, just close enough so we can observe what they are doing, maybe learn something from them." Twilight said as she walks on the side of the road towards the place. "Come on girls, follow me." "What the hay are we going to learn from these things anyway?" questioned Rainbow. "Maybe something we don't have in Equestria, like I don't know, something new." replied Twilight. "Even Twilight doesn't know what exactly something new we can discover." muttered Rainbow. "I heard that!" replied Twilight. Twilight and her friends walk towards the direction where the creatures came from the night before. They look around the countryside looking at the landscape and the occasional old, worn apart home. At the far distance, is a wooden fort, suspecting to be the place where the creatures reside. Rarity walks over to a old house, badly worn and torn apart with mold growing on the stairs leading to the entrance of the house. "My, these homes look dreadful! It's like nopony is living in them at all!" exclaimed rarity as she inspects the outside of the house. "That's because nopony is even living in them! Why would somepony just pack up and leave their home?" questioned Twilight. "Maybe because living in the middle of nowhere isn't the best place to live" said Rainbow. "Says the pony who lives in a small town like Ponyville." replied Applejack. "Middle of nowhere, Applejack, not in a tiny town. Huge difference." Rainbow replied back. "Girls stop arguing. Well I guess we found a place to sleep in when it get's dark." said Twilight. "Well, it doesn't look comfortable. Doesn't it have any beds inside?" asked Rainbow. "Nothing is in here at all! There's no beds or furniture, or anything! It's just some icky old junk, and lots of dirt and dust!" replied Rarity. "See, what did I told you, they moved to somewhere else. The middle of nowhere isn't the best place to live!" said Rainbow. "Well if there's nothing, we could sleep on the floor rather than the ground like last time, or we can go to another house and hope there is a bed or something we can comfortably sleep on." suggested Twilight. "We choose second option" everypony else said. They did not want to sleep uncomfortably on the ground or on the floor. "Alright, lets find another house." Twilight said as she lead the ponies outside to find the next house they can find. As they walk on the road, Pinkie senses something. "My knees are pinchy! That means something scary is about happen!" "Pinkie, what can possibly be scar-" Twilight said before she was interrupted by a voice. "Stay where you are! Do not move!" said a voice that came from right behind them. "Do not move! Do not attempt to escape or face the consequences!" said another voice. The ponies turn around in fear as they finally see the creatures in broad daylight. Of course, they were in machines, almost looking completely mechanical. Everypony shrank their eyes except Rainbow Dash, who was in a defensive position. They stare as they see the creatures came right towards them, when they got close, they stopped and stared. One of them said in a confused tone. "What the heck? They looked bigger where they were a few meters away!" said one of the creatures. "They're quite tall for a pony to be inside. They're not ponies." muttered Twilight. "THEY CAN TALK!" yelled the creature that's inside the machine. "Eeyup, not ponies." Applejack whispered to Twilight. Author's Note I'm sorry for taking so long to make this chapter. Sometimes, high school can be a pain in the flank, but I kind of do learn more about story writing and grammar in English class, which is good. I hoped you enjoyed this chapter! //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: So Much Orders... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: So Much Orders... "Who are you people and where do you come from?" questioned the stranger. "No, our question is, who are you and what are you!" exclaimed Rainbow Dash as she gets into her defensive position. "You can cut the act. We know you're just humans in costumes. Also, our identities are secret for intruders like you." replied the stranger. "But you have an ID tag on your machine. It says the owner of the machine is John. Are you the owner of this machine?" asked Twilight. "What a terrible way to protect your identity to intruders if you need an ID tag to know if I own this machine." replied John. "So you're called humans? But I see no organic matter on you what so ever." said Twilight. "We are inside of these machines, Also what do you mean "you are humans," if you're not human, then what are you?" asked John. "Maybe, just maybe, you might call me crazy, but I think they are aliens!" said the other person in his machine. "No, they are not aliens. Oh yes, here is my partner, Clarence. He's crazy, so don't listen to whatever he says." said John as he introduces his friend. "Hi aliens!" he excitedly spoke to the ponies. They reply back by waving their hoofs at him. "I just told you, they are not aliens!" he replied harshly at him. Twilight steps up to the person and introduces herself and her friends. "Actually, we are aliens for you humans. I'm Twilight Sparkle, and these are my friends Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie, and my assistant Spike. We live in Ponyville, Equestria on the planet, Equinus" "Do you really think I'm going to fall for that?" replied John. "They are aliens! No human can fit inside a costume that small and still look like it's alive! Also, if it is a costume, where's the zipper?" said Clarence. "Maybe they are midgets, and they are expert costume makers." he replied back. "...really? I might be crazy, but NO one is going to think of that!" "Well there's always a chance that can happen." "You're not going to believe in that in any way are you?" "Pretty much, yeah." Clarence tries to find a way that can prove that the ponies are truly aliens. He looks at Rainbow Dash and gets an idea. "I know!" he said. "You blue pony! Try to fly, us humans cannot fly without machines, but you seem to fly by nature." "Yeah right. like she's goin-" John said before Rainbow started to flap her wings and started to hover in the air. This astonishes him immediately. Rattling is heard in the machine he is in. "How do you do that! That's impossible!" he yelled. "Now do you believe we are aliens?" asked Twilight. "I can't believe I have to say this, but yes. I do believe you came from another world." "Good, now can you take us to your leader? Hehe, I always wanted to say that. I've been reading too many sci-fi books lately." said Twilight. "Very cliche of you Twilight, very cliche." said Rainbow Dash. "Yes, we will but I have to give you warnings and orders so you don't break our laws." said John. "Ugh, why do we have to say this to whoever invades our land? It's not like they'll follow our rules anyway." Clarence replied. "You kind of have a point, plus it's not like they are a big threat or anything. They have no hands, thus unable to carry weapons. Until further notice, they shall be considered as prisoners." "Why are considered prisoners when we have done nothing wrong?" questions Rarity. "Trespassing onto our land, and evading police, as I assume that bright purple light was you guys showing up. And not to mention disturbing the peace with that light!" Clarence explains. "How come we can't be considered tourists? I mean, yea we kind of evaded law enforcement, but can we just put that aside and just say we are visiting your country or something?" asked Twilight. "Well, we can as long one of you have some sort of identification and we could consider you as alien tourists, or just tourists, but what do they call extraterrestrial tourists then?" "Interesting question, also here's my library card. I always carry it with me just in case." said Twilight. She then pulls out a library card with her profile on it, shows it to him, which he confirms it as a actual card and now assigns them to be "foreign tourists" and now starts escorting them along with Clarence to the base of which they work at. John looks at them carefully to see if they won't do anything funny, such as escaping. With those hooves and wings, they could get away pretty easily if they ran off the roads. He then notices something odd, they don't seem to be wearing any kind of clothing whatsoever. "Why aren't they wearing any clothes? I mean, aren't they kind of self-conscious about someone looking at their nether regions?" He mumbled to himself. The idea of being perfectly fine not wearing clothing is bizarre for him, but then again, these are aliens he's talking about. "Maybe they like being naked." said a very familiar voice. "Wait a second, who is that, and how did you hear me!" John replied. "It's me Clarence, your walkie-talkie is still on. I can hear you fine, and apparently you are have perverted thoughts right now." said Clarence through the speaker. "I am not having perverted thoughts! I just questioning why don't they have clothes. That is all!" "Because they are nudists, as they have fur as their 'natural clothing' unlike us bald apes." "Sure lets go with that, genius answer. We will ask the president whether we can obtain any kind of information we can get about them." "Maybe he already knows, he might be viewing what the camera is seeing right now, which doesn't surprise me at all. This is some crazy stuff man, the footage is so worth viewing it live right in front of his computer screen!" "What if he doesn't know about these... ponies?" "Then we will tell him when we get to our little fort, the people there will flip the fudge out!" "Yes, we will tell him then." John looks back at the ponies as they get closer to the fort. He does question whether the people would flip, but the answer will be revealed once they enter the base. Author's Note Man this took a while. Extreme case of writer's block, and a combination of many other things. Just expect to be more chapters sooner or later in the future!
