“Rarity! RARITY!” female voices screamed as Rarity’s door was pounded on by the weight of two fully grown mares. Rarity looked up from her sewing machine and groaned, using her magic to set down her scarlet glasses. She quickly fixed up her mane and trotted to the door.
“Yes, darl-Oof!” Rarity gasped as two ponies tackled her. Cyan and tangerine shades flooded her vision as she fell on her back. Something hit her head, turning everything shades of blue and red. For a moment, Rarity believed she was having a seizure.
“Rarity! Rarity!” Something shook her awake. Rarity sat up and shook her head as her vision cleared. Rainbow Dash and Applejack were staring down at her with desperation. She opened her mouth to speak- “MAKE US PRETTY!!”
Rarity froze, the words on the tip of her tongue. Did they just ask her to…
“Make us pretty! Please!” Rainbow Dash leaned down and pressed her nose against Rarity’s. Her magenta eyes were watering tears. Applejack leaned over her shoulder and whimpered as well.
“M-make y-y-you p-pretty?” Rarity stuttered in shock. “Rainbow Dash and Applejack, pretty? Pretty little ponies?” It was either a dream come true or a horrible prank. Surprisingly, the two mares nodded.
“Puhhhh-lease!” Rainbow Dash begged, holding her front hooves together in a praying motion. “We have an uber important date together and we have to look b-b-b-”
“Beautiful,” Applejack supplied. She tilted her head in shame.
Rarity’s eyes widened at the implications. Oh yes, this was good. Absolutely fabulous.
“Wow, Rarity. Ah never knew this was so much fun!” Applejack said as she sat in the reclining chair while the pink spa pony tended to her mane. Undoing the braids, she brushed it and redid it into pigtails. “Who knew pigtails were so darn adorable, eh Dash?”
Rainbow Dash sighed as the blue spa pony massaged her hooves. Her tongue stuck out in ecstasy. “Aw yeah…”
“Ahem. Dashie dear?” Applejack clicked her tongue.
Rainbow snapped back to her senses and nodded. “Oh yeah! You look adorable, cutie pie!”
“Aw…” Applejack blushed in her seat. “You’re a darn sweet thang, sugarcube.”
Rainbow smiled back at her, blood turning her cyan cheeks scarlet. She reached over and joined her hoof with Applejack’s, gently holding hooves between their soft chairs. Rainbow’s mane was in a bun; the pink spa pony carefully stuck two crossed chopsticks in the bun. Rarity merely had her horn filed, choosing to focus on her friends’ progress into beauties.
“Darlings, you’re becoming absolutely gorgeous with those new manes,” Rarity complimented as she eyed the bun on Rainbow. Her eyes flickered between Applejack and Rainbow, taking in the sight of the lovely couple. “I must say, you are very cute together.”
“Yes she is…” the two mares whispered simultaneously, turning their heads to stare into each other’s eyes. Rarity turned red as she watched the sappy scene, a twitch of jealousy stirring in her heart.
Once the two were finished losing themselves in the eyes of their lover, the fabulous trio left the spa in search of clothes.
“O-okay, I’m coming out,” Rainbow Dash announced as she stepped outside of the dressing stall. Applejack, wearing a casual green dress, whistled as her pegasus friend showed off her kimono. Rainbow blushed and fanned her face with a hoof. “You’re giving me too much credit here… It doesn’t look that great on me, does it?” Rainbow fluttered her eyelashes at Applejack, causing her facing to burn bright red.
“Well, I reckon ya look mighty attractive Miss Rainbow. Lookin’ mighty fancy as well I might add. I guess that somethin’ that exotic is perfect fer somepony like you.” Applejack shifted her eyes to the right, a deeper blush appearing on her face. She looked back at Rainbow after a few moments and stared into Rainbow’s eyes. “Them eyes of yours are just the prettiest little things…”
Rainbow blushed in turn and stepped forward towards AJ. The two were almost muzzle to muzzle as they came closer together. “Uh… I think that you look really pretty too, Applejack. That dress really highlights your body well. Especially your… uh… flanks. I hope that’s not too inappropriate of me for a first date…” Rainbow kicked as the floor sheepishly as she gazed longingly into her lover’s eyes.
“No. I think it’s fine, Rainbow.” Applejack gave Rainbow a half-lidded look as she pressed her snout to Rainbow’s. “I think it’s more than fine… You’re mighty attractive yourself, if you don’t mind me sayin’.” Applejack leaned in further and pressed her lips against Rainbow’s. Rainbow’s eyes shot open in surprise as their puckered lips touch, completing the circuit of emotions between them.
The two moaned breathless as they began to kiss more passionately. Their tense faces relaxed and their lips loosened as they began to playfully push for control of the kiss. Rainbow made her move first, prodding Applejack’s closed mouth with her tongue, begging her for entrance. Applejack was all too happy to oblige as her tongue moved to great Rainbow’s. The battled for dominance as their tongues explored every nook and cranny in each other’s mouths, savoring the taste and texture as the two mares pushed back and forth playfully.
“Girls! I’m ready!” Rarity stepped out of her dressing room wearing a simple white robe that matched her coat color. AJ and Rainbow broke apart and gasped for air as they stared at Rarity’s eloquent form.
“Wow, Rarity, that’s nice! It really matches your mane well!” Rainbow complemented her.
“Sure is nice, Rarity, but it’s just a r— Whoa…” both AJ’s and Rainbow’s jaws dropped as Rarity let the robe fall away. Where the robe had once been, skimpy black laced underwear hugged her slim flanks and socks adjoined her legs, stopping at her cutie mark. Rainbow’s mouth watered as she stared at the half-hidden diamonds, wanting to go gem-hunting and sink her teeth into them like a dragon. Applejack was not so tactless, merely groping Rarity’s curves with her eyes. Rarity giggled and stretched a hoof forward, rolling her muscles as her back curved like her cat.
“Well, girls. I hate to intrude on your date, but today is a slow day. I’m sure they won’t mind if we borrow the stalls for a moment or two, wouldn’t you say?”
Rainbow took that as an invitation as she leaped forward and sunk her teeth into Rarity’s flank, eliciting a pleasured whinny from the fabulous mare. “Oh Rainbow Dash, this is fantastic!”
Applejack whinnied in anticipation. “Don’t you mean ‘fabulous,’ darling?”
“AUGH!” Rainbow Dash shot upright, sweating profusely. Flashes of her nightmare ran through her mind as she looked around. “Oh thank Celesta,” she whispered as she drew the covers back to her chest. Her room was just as she remembered; trinkets and awards littered the walls and desk. Everything was fine. Her hoof confirmed her mane was indeed messy, and no makeup evident.
“Aw yeah, still awesome.” Rainbow Dash lied back down, sighing in relief. “Still Rainbow Dash, coolest and fastest pony in Equestria!”
“A mite too fast, sugarcube,” Applejack groaned as she emerged under the covers and wrapped her forelegs around Rainbow’s frozen chest. Rainbow’s eyes glossed over.
“Oh darling, you must learn some endurance,” Rarity agreed as she ran a hoof through Rainbow’s tussled mane, wondering what she could do to it next.
Rainbow’s scream echoed throughout Ponyville.
