"Hey my name is Frost Note or here on Earth I guess you could call me Chris. I'm twenty two years old at the time of this recording. Since your hearing this audio log it means that you either wish to be entertained and believe that this is a simple fiction story or you believe in the impossible and want to follow my path. Just know this, i was an average kind of guy with no real special things about him past one or two what i thought were small time things but what kid doesn't have a few odd moments? But my early life was pretty normal by all accounts I had my parents, you know a couple of musically inclined moms, a pet fox named Cobalt , a four bedroom house, a part time job helping my mom set up her mixing table each weak at the club she played at, and i had fairly good grades. The main problems i had in my early life were that i was born with weak bones, had naturally blue and white streaked hair, and i was a bookish kid and anyone who has gone through the american school system knows that that even a single one of those can lead to some really heavy bullying. However the biggest thing that set me apart from the other kids i grew up around was that i wasn't actually a human, sure i may have looked like one but i was born as a pony more specifically as a candy colored magical pegasus. Trust me when i found out about that little fact I freaked out. And if your wondering how i could have possibly missed such a huge fact it went down pretty much like this.
Apparently my mom Vinyl screwed up while working on an invention of hers called the Bass Cannon, when i was a bab- sorry foal, I don't think i will ever get used to using pony terminology . Anyway my mom the "fun" one of my parents decided it would be a good idea to work on her unstable Bass Cannon while me and my mother Octavia were in the house. The resulting explosion of Dub-step blasted me and my parents across time and space into a world inhabited by humans. We were lucky to have survived. But although we were all fine after the blast and subsequent trip we were trapped inside new bodies and Mom had lost most of the magical power she held in the other relm. However my parents were fairly adaptable people, so they were able to quickly fake some legal papers for our family and we lived in peace for about seventeen years.
My parents had decided to keep the truth of our origins as an inside the family secret and so they made sure to never allow any of our neighbors to learn of where we came from. Although we did have some very close calls as i was growing up. Like the time i kicked my gym teacher when i was eight and ended up collapsing his rib-cage. When i went to the doctor after breaking my arm was another bad one, since most humans do not have mostly hollow bones like an avian the doc. started asking some really bad questions for my families secret. Or the time when i was fourteen and a blizzard blew into my hometown in the middle of august, i thought it strange at the time that the blizzard had only showed up after the first time i had ever played my violin along side my mothers newest chill-step song (plus the fact that a couple bad-ass tattoos showed up on my hips when the blizzard started kinda shot red lights to me that something was up).
Among all of that craziness my parents were able to keep our history a secret not only from the town but from me as well. To be quite honest i destroyed most of the living room when I was sixteen and they finally told me the truth of who i was. It was not until my eighteenth birthday however that i learned that my parents had been rebuilding the cannon without my knowledge and had succeeded. They had held the intention of sending us all back to the place they called Equestria. However i was against the idea my whole life was here and if my parents had their way i would be forced to leave the friends i had made in life as well as the only place i had known since the time i was a toddler. I ended up sneaking into the garage where mom was re-building the cannon and tried to destroy it while my parents had left it alone to go and find me for the trip. Taking that hammer to the cannon was probably my worst mistake as well as the best thing i ever did.
When i destroyed the cannon the energy core in it destabilized and re-created the event that sent my family to Earth. The energy shock wave carried me and my parents back into Equestria and returned us to our original bodies. We ended up landing just outside of a small village that was named Ponyville. And through the events of the next three years after the blast i made the best friends I have ever had, became a knight of the relm, and found the love of my life. As such I have decided to create these audio logs to tell of these new friends I've made since my return to Equestria and the wonderful mare who has taken the number one spot in my heart to try and help anyone who wishes to attempt to make the journey and experience the same joy I feel on a daily basis, on this side of the rift.
