The sun rose over the horizon. The warming light shined over a small town called Burnton. The population was close to five thousand ponies. The town started four years ago by a four travelers. They all died saving thirty-six foals and two mares when they were sheltering in the schoolhouse when a lightning bolt struck the building and set the schoolhouse on a blaze. The town was named Burnton for their heroic actions. Soon after a mare moves in the town, she meets a stallion and settled down having a foal. The father names him Cubby. Soon after fourteen years, Cubby's dad is shot down by more than twenty deputies after a massive bank robbery. The news hit's Cubby's mom hard as she finds out that his father was one of the top outlaw in the country and that her brother was involved. It also hit Cubby hard, why wouldn't it? Your parents dying..... It's an absolute hellish experience when your a young age. After four year Cubby is eighteen, young and handsome, working on a farm owned by his mother, It grew a variety of vegetables and housed a chicken coop. Recently a new deadly disease hits in, ponies die slowly of a hundred and eighty-six fever, all die that get it, but don't stay dead

Around this time there are only earth ponies so no pegasus and unicorn.

Also Celestia and Luna aren't dead, They are immortal but are not in the story line. They still raise day and night but no pony knows it.

This is just the introduction to explain the story a bit. Now i'm sure this will be a short story because I thought of the whole thing when i was in school, which only took one day. I'm sure the whole story will be around 10k words or so but I'm not sure.
