The Adventure Begins: What Are We?
Twilight
"Rainbow! Keep still or this is not going to work! And stop bouncing Pinkie!" I said. "But this is so exciting!" Pinkie said, "we're going to be humans!!" "Not if you can't keep still!" I said. She finally stopped bouncing and I got out the elements. "As you all know," I said, "I have been working on a spell that can transport all of us to the human world without using the mirror. But we have to use the elements also." "So why are we here?" Sweetie Belle said. "We need you four to help with the magic pathway. We need nine ponies to get it to work and Spike is here because I don't want to go to the human world without him." I explained, "now get into position!"
My horn glowed purple and the elements began to light up. The center of the floor began to glow to. Suddenly, the floor dropped away and we fell into a swirling, blue portal. Then I blacked out. When I awoke, I was on concrete. I lifted up my hooves and saw hands. "Yes!" I screamed, "It worked! It worked!" I looked around and saw all my friends surrounded around me past out. I quickly woke them up and we sat down together. We put our elements in our saddle bags, (witch were now backpacks) and Pinkie began jumping  around. I then realized that we were not our normal colors. we were all tan. Oh well, I thought, At least we're human. Suddenly, Sweetie Belle screamed. We all turned to her. She was up against the wall hugging Apple Bloom shivering. They were staring at Spike and Scootaloo. They had scythes instead of arms. Scootaloo had a purple and orange scythe and Spike (Who was a human instead of a dog) had a purple and green scythe. I held my hands up to my mouth. What happened?  I thought. "Um... Twilight?" Pinkie said, not sounding so happy. "What is it Pink-" She was cut short by what she saw Rainbow Dash was holding a pink pistol in her hands and the pistol had Pinkie's cutie mark on it. "Will you tell Rainbow to put me down?" Said the pistol. I gasped. "Pinkie?" I said. "Yeah. When Sweetie screamed, I transformed into this." Said Pinkie. "Same here," said Applejack. I turned to her and saw rarity holding an orange cross bow. Then Twilight heard a squeak. "Fluttershy?" I said I looked around and saw a bright yellow scythe with three pink butterflies on it leaning against a wall. Suddenly, the pistol, the cross bow, and the scythes were engulfed in a bright light and in a blink of an eye, they were Pinkie Pie, Spike, Scootaloo, Applejack, and Fluttershy. "Woah!" Pinkie said, "Thank Celestia! I thought I would be stuck like that forever!" I was, of course, confused by this. Pinkie, Spike, Scootaloo, Applejack and Fluttershy were weapons.
Suddenly, there was a rumbling noise that was getting closer and making the ground shake. I gasped in horror as I saw what was making the noise. It was a pitch black monster with dripping black teeth on both of it's gruesome heads. It's black hands had sharp black claws like knives. My friends ran away but I tripped and fell. My ankle was twisted. I sat there, helplessly staring at the monster. I thought I was a goner for sure but then... SLASH!
I watched as the monster was torn in two. It's black skin unraveled to reveal a floating purple orb. I looked around for my friends. To my relief, they were right behind me. I looked back at them and sighed. As I did, I heard footsteps in front of me. I turned around and saw a girl standing in front of me. I was afraid at first, but then she held out her hand and gave me a friendly smile. "Hi, I'm Maka, and that guy over there," She said, pointing to a boy behind her with white hair and a spiked smile, "Is my partner, Soul. All of you have to come with us." And I took her hand as Soul ate the floating orb. Ugh! I thought, Disgusting!
