Meanwhile...

Down at the castle, fellow readers, Guards are doing their night shift, some of them snipers in the windows of each floor. Let's zoom in on where the source of action will become;

Max charges himself by draining his fifth and final battery. Suddenly, as he does this, he thinks of the video game he used to play. It was his favorite, a game called inFAMOUS©. This time though, he wasn't Cole MacGrath, accidental hero. He was Max Stronghold, the Thunderer. He got ready, aimed his hand at the window on the bottom level, and Shot a thin arc of electricity. It caught the floor one sniper dead in the eye. He fell out the window, and bled to death on the newly trimmed grass. “Damn your good at this, Max,” said a surprised Jake.

“Learned how to shoot with precision. Drains a little energy, though. So I have to aim perfectly on the first shot.” And he shot the sniper on floor two with the same thin precision shot, this time in the chest. “Just four more to go.” He aimed at floor three, and to add comedy, he shot the sniper in the scope with his hand forming a finger gun. “Very funny, Max. Got any other tricks?” “Actually, yes.” Said Max as he shot another sniper in the forehead with his eyes closed. He then shot the last two with a normal shot.

“You ready?” Asked Max as the last sniper fell headfirst into the ground, looking like an imitation of an ostrich.

“Yeah.”

“Good. Let's go.” Said Max. Then, they climbed the pipeline, and they disappeared from sight.
