With the last strike, Diablo was defeated and was thrown off from the Crystal Arch to burn away into nothingness.

But everything does not end so easily.

As the Black soulstone fell from the high heavens, a certain eager chaotic god opened a portal to take the soulstone for himself.

Knowing what could happen with having the stone fall to the wrong hands, Tyrael, Auriel and Itherael ask the Nelphalem once again to seek out the soulstone once more.

It is up to Ziko, the Witch Doctor to once again retrieve the soulstone and keep harmony of the world at peace.
