The Past Is Faster Then Progress

Lyra... Kissed me... The world seemed to just melt when that happens, almost as if life was trying to make stuff good for me, not sure if it is after all life is a bucking asshat sometimes but... Lyra! She kissed me! Of course she quickly backed off saying sorry like a billion times second, I just walked up to her very unhappy that it was a quick little peek of a kiss and locked her in a long full on kiss, she was shocked but embraced it (that's a very good thing, i wouldn't want to seem creepy would i?) after a long while of kissing i broke off the kiss mostly to breath and she was gasping for breath also, everypony was just looking at us shocked and confused Lyra turned to me, something about the way she looked at me... almost like a sparkle in her eyes "B-Bon... you... we... erm... i like you?" she offered weakly. i think she is really confused about whats going on but i could see she truly meant it, she likes me and i like her... i couldn't really call it love, well at lest not yet but i just smiled at her.

"i... like you to Lyra..." a lot of d'aws rang out from the ponies watching, well not Kat who poofed up next to us giving both of us a VERY seductive look.

"hey Lyra, Bon if you ever want a threesome? i am in!" she poofed away Lyra just sat there blushing and my face looking... very odd (a lot like this :I   ) i shook my head almost as if none of that happened waving a hoof to call my men over and my freinds

It's been five weeks since the Canterlot trip, we went threw Hoofington for supplies me and Lyra have grown much closer, we are comfertable with kissing and hugging (which we do a lot) and even sharing a tent (glad I don't have wings or they would be stiff every night) we also picked up some new clothing, our next target being the Crystal Empire, but as we where traveling... Well... The ground split open and a wave of fire coming out, we quickly dived away and took out our guns when over 50 demons came out, half with fire in there hands half with swords, one walked up to me "BonBon the bringer of Hope, lord Discord told me to give you these things" he handed me a sealed note then slashed my face with a dagger, Lyra quickly killed the demon who slashed as all the other demons went back in to the crack, after a few moments I felt woozy and passed out.

Slowly I woken every thing slightly blurred and kinda like I am not seeing everything I should be, Lyra looking down at me worried, very skinny (in a bad way) I seemed to be in a medical tent, one of my shoulders I think her name was Red a Heart seemed to be working the medical things "Oh Bon! Your awake! I was so worried!" Lyra said hugging me tight but then slowly bringing up a hoof held mirror showing me my face, I was wearing a eye patch on one eye and coming out of the bottom of the eye patch, a large scar.

"Ugh... How long have I been asleep?..."

Red Heart turned saying calmly "three days"  i stood up fast looking worried but Lyra slowly pushed me down for me to relax, Red Heart turned to me slowly "I... Haven't told Lyra this yet but... Miss. Bon you have been poisoned by that demon and I haven't found any real cure..." Lyra looked like her world has just crashed and started crying I hugged her and rubbed her back saying every thing is ok.

I felt a shiver go down my spine and the odd voice of Discord in my mind "Oh my dear Bonnie... You must find the cave of souls and enter the underworld, once you pass ever test and face me I will send my champion demon to battle you, both having any weapon you want and if you kill him I will give you the cure, good luck!" The voice slowly faded...

After telling everypony the words Discord said we set off towards the cave of souls every day I felt a little of my self die, it was terrifying but after about a week, me and Lyra spending much time together wondering if it will be the last time we reached it, the cave of souls... Lyra convinced me and the others to stay in camp one more night before I go in the cave alone like Discord said, I spent the day greasing up. But at night, well Lyra had a idea...
