She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the letter with all of its fancy lettering and gold edges addressed to her house, nor could she believe her eyes when she saw that she was invited with paid leave to go to Canterlot for the weekend to recieve an award!

Of course, Derpy Hooves wasn't the kind of mother to leave her family behind, so it was decided (or rather, dictated, though with little need to do so) that Dinky Hooves was coming along too.

However, the simple trip to the capitol city was a lot more eventful than either of them would have thought.
