Rainbow Dash was doing a night patrol of Ponyville flying above the city and sometimes spying down on the clouds. She had recently told Twilight Sparkle she wanted to become Mare-Do-Well again and she told Rarity to make her a Mare-Do-Well costume and pretty soon Fluttershy, Applejack and Pinkie Pie found out. They all agreed to keep her identity a secret from everypony in Ponyville. Rainbow Dash couldn't have been more proud of her friends and herself. Suddenly a scream was heard and Dash raced towards where the sound was made. It was from an alleyway and what was inside extremely shocked her. A pony was on the ground with swollen bumps all over her body and was dead on the ground.
Oh my, Celestia. Rainbow thought to herself.
On the ground next to the body was a note and she read from it.
This is the first of many that has been infected with the plague. The next five days the plague will strike again.

Our hero scratched her head in confusement and two questions piled up in her head: What was this plague and who was this Plague Doctor?
The next day news about the attack went everywhere in Ponyville. The Newspapers read:
Bystander killed by Plague.
Who is the Plague Doctor?
Everypony was in a panic, especially about the Plague Doctor's threat. Dash needed to figure out who this Plague Doctor was and what kind of plague did he mention.
"Who could be so heartless?" Twilight asked herself pacing around the library.
"I don't know. Who is this Plague Doctor anyway? And what kind of plague did he mention?" Dash asked herself.
Twilight then got an idea.
"Maybe if I knew what plague this Plague Doctor mentioned I can make a cure for it." She said.
"Good thinking. Let's see the victim had swollen bumps all over it's body and that's it." The blue pegasus explained.
Twilight then got out a book called Perplexing Pony Plagues and looked it up. What she saw shocked her.
"What? What is it?" Dash asked worried.
"The Black Death. That's the disease the victim had." Twilight said shocked.
Dash however was confused. She hadn't heard of any disease known as the Black Death.
"What is this Black Death?" She asked.
"The Black Death was a very deadly disease before Princess Luna became Nightmare Moon. It started out with fleas from rats infecting the ponies and getting extremely sick and dying. They all had swollen lumps on their bodies. Celestia and Luna tried many spells to cure them but none of them seemed to work. They eventually called on the Plague Doctors. They were tasked with ridding the Black Death once and for all. For twenty years the Black Death infected and killed ponies everywhere in Equestria until one Plague Doctor found out what it was. It was called the bubonic plague and created a cure and made everypony better." Twilight explained the history of the Black Death,
"But not it's back and the cure is long gone."
Dash was stumped and at the same time shocked. A Plague Doctor which was commisioned to cure the plague is now making it spread again.
Plague Doctor, whoever you are. I'm gonna take you down and prevent the plague from being reborn. She thought to herself.
In the four days that passed Dash a.k.a. Mare-Do-Well tried to stop victims from being killed but alas showed up too late. Everywhere she went there was an infected body and next to it was a note left by the Plague Doctor which foretold who was going to get killed. She then started training to make herself even faster to catch up but it still didn't work and the last note that was left by the fourth victim read: Four have gone and died. The final one is your Mayor and the Plague will be reborn.
Ponyville called a town meeting by the Town Hall to discuss what to do about the Plague Doctor. Everypony in Ponyville was there. The Mayor came up to a podium and spoke to the public,
"Citizens of Ponyville. In the past four days a dreadful disease has infected four unfortunate victims. The only leads are mysterious notes left by somepony named Plague Doctor. Whoever this pony may be he will not get away with these actions. In due time this Mare-Do-Well will be brought to justice and the safety will be restored!" She shouted.
Everypony in Ponyville cheered, Rainbow Dash was in the back of the crowd but flew up to see everything. Suddenly microphone feedback started and then the sound systems exploded and a maniacal laughter was heard and an evil voice was heard as well,
"You actually think you can stop the Plague? Well your all wrong. The Plague will live again!!!!"
Suddenly smoke was made around the crowd and Mayor Mare. A sillhouete then sneaked up to the Mayor and jabbed needles into her neck and shoved her down to the ground and disappeared in the darkness. It was then seen that the Mayor was coughing extremely, coughing out blood and swollen lumps started to popping up and she was having a hard time breathing.
"She's been infected!!!!" Dash shouted.
"AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!" The evil voice went and everypony looked up to see the Plague Doctor,
"Now you have 24 hours to make the Mayor better...... Or she will die like the rest! MWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!"
He then took off into the shadows and Dash went around an alleyway, got out her Mare-Do-Well costume from her saddle bag, put it on and chased after the insane doctor.
The Plague Doctor ran through the darkest alleys of Ponyville laughing to himself.
Those foalish ponies are now ocupied with the Mayor. Now I can put my plan into action. He thought to himself.
"HALT, CRIMINAL!!!" A voice went and the Plague Doctor stopped in his tracks.
He looked up to see the Mysterious Mare-Do-Well above him and fly down towards him.
"Ah. The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well. We finally meet." Plague Doctor said.
Behind the Mare-Do-Well costume Dash had a stern look and said in a deep voice,
"You won't get away with this Plague Doctor. When I'm done with you you're gonna need your medical skills to help yourself get better."
"Ha. Your threats don't frighten me. And I will get away with this....... However you are the only obstacle in my path." The villainous doctor said getting out a cane, gripping the top and pulling it out revealing a blade,
"Now it's time for your check up. Let's see if you can live long enough."
He then charged right at Mare-Do-Well and swung the blade but was blocked by Mare-Do-Well's hooves. He retaliated by bucking her into the wall and swinging the blade again but cutting a pipe causing gas to spill out. Plague Doctor then swung his blade all around trying to hit the superhero but she dodged every swing from the cane-sword. Mare-Do-Well saw an opening and shoved Plague Doctor into the wall and used her back hoof to kick him in the face. The insane villain then tried to bring his blade down to cut off our heroes' head but he missed and got it stuck in the ground. Mare-Do-Well then turned around and bucked him in the body and sent him into a wall and then flew into him keeping him from going anywhere.
"Looks like your next stop is the hospital." Mare-Do-Well joked.
"Hm hm hm hm hm. Not quie, you foal." Plague Doctor went.
In a matter of seconds syringes were jabbed into the masked pony's neck and then she was punched in the face and onto the ground. Dash felt extremely woozy and before she passed out she started into Plague Doctor's souless eyes and he said,
"Time to board the train to Sleepytown."
All Dash could see was black but then she smelled a sweet flower and opened her eyes to peer into the eyes of Plague Doctor.
"Good to see my patient is up. We wouldn't want you to miss your apointment." He said.
Mare-Do-Well tried to move but couldn't, she was strapped down to a gurney and she saw Plague Doctor's lair. It was a mix of a mad scientist's laboratory and a room in a hospital.
"I believe I can squeeze you in. I'd like to recomend one hundreed cc's of listen to my plan." The evil doctor said and walked over to the middle of the lair.
"All my life I've wanted to become a doctor, and I did. However nobody told me the patients would be so hard to contain. One paticular patient broke the straw on the cammel's back." Plague Doctor said in a venom filled tone,
"She was so fast I couldn't keep up with her, she fell asleep everytime I tried to entertain her and she kept calling me a lame bookworm for trying to read her a story. She kept saying she was the Fastest Pegasus in all of Equestria!!!! And that no good patient's name was...... RAINBOW DASH!!!!!!!" He shouted.
Dash was very surprised, this psycho blamed her. And the way he described himself the lines then connected and he said,
"Dr. Black?"
"That's right!!" Plague Doctor shouted taking off his mask and revealing his black face, crazed eyes and messy hair,
"Doctor Black Checkup, at your service. But how did you know who I really was?"
"Uhhhhh...... Lucky guess?" Mare-Do-Well asked with the deep voice not wanting to reveal her identity.
"...... Lucky you may be....... But you won't be lucky in putting a stop to my plan." The villain said putting his mask back on and went over to a crate and continued,
"In this crate....... Is over one million fleas all infected with the Black Death..... Or do you prefer the bubonic plague? Either way I'm going to drop them all over Ponyville and watch them bite the citizens as each and everyone of them is bit and infected...... And I have the only cure."
He then revealed the cure on a table next to him.
"If they want their city to be cured they'll have to get the cure from me..... For a price....... And if they don't...... They die." Plague Doctor said with an evil tone.
"Your crazy!!!!" Mare-Do-Well shouted with a disguisted tone.
"NO!!! That would imply mental illness or schitzophrenia..... I suffer from neither. Now if you'll excuse me I have a bubonic plague to make reborn." Plague Doctor said lifting the box full of fleas with his magic and teleporting out of his lair.
"I gotta stop him.... But I gotta get myself free." Dash said wriggling to get herself free.
She then eyed a button on the side of the gourney that must be the button to release her. She wiggled one of her wings towards the button, Plague Doctor didn't bother strapping the wings, and pressed it and she was free of the gourney.
"Now to stop that crazy doctor." She said and then took flight to stop Plague Doctor.
Plague Doctor was on the dam and slightly chuckled to himself as he lifted the box full of infected fleas and dumped the fleas into the water that the dam was blocking.
"Soon...... Ponyville will feel my revenge and I'll be rich beyond compare." He said to himself.
"The only thing rich will be your face when your behind bars." A voice said.
Plague Doctor looked up to see Mare-Do-Well on a cloud right above him and she flew down to the dam to confront him.
"Ah Miss Mare-Do-Well, your quite the stubborn patient..... But I'm giving you one last checkup." Plague Doctor said and got out his cane-sword and syringe glove,
"The check-up will begin..... AFTER YOU DIE!!!!!"
He then charged towards his adversary and swung his sword but Mare-Do-Well ducked and then tripped Plague Doctor on the ground and he slid on the surface of the dam causing him to lose his grip on his cane sword which fell off the dam. He then got back up and charged again with his syringe glove to infect Mare-Do-Well but his hoof was grabbed before the needles could jab into the heroes' skin and then she twisted the hoof making Plague Doctor yell in pain and the glove fell off and Mare-Do-Well threw a punc which socked the bad doctor in the face. He was sent flying for a bit but got back up on his hooves and charged again sending furry and punches and kicks which were blocked by Mare-Do-Well and she countered with a beatdown of her own and ended with an buck to the face which sent him flying into a tree and a branch landing on his head knocking him out.
"Looks like the only one that needs a checkup is you, Plague Doctor." Mare-Do-Well joked.
Later that day the Mayor was cured from the plague using the cure that Plague Doctor kept in his lair and he was sent to Alkatrot Prison to pay his debt to society. The newspapers read:
The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well saves Ponyville from bubonic plague
Plague Doctor sent to prison for 10 to 12 year 'Check-Up'
Everypony was glad that Mare-Do-Well had returned to keep Ponyville safe, and the mare behind the mask, Rainbow Dash.... Couldn't be more happy.
Alkatrot Prison
Plague Doctor paced in his cell and mumbled to himself,
"I'll be free one of these days Mare-Do-Well........ And when I do get out of here...... I'll find you......... And you take a thousand cc's of 'My Revenge.'"
Suddenly something smashed through the window in his cell..... He looked at it and saw it was a package. He opened it up revealing his Plague Doctor costume and metal suit that had some mysterious gas in it and a note that read,
I've been watching you Doctor, I've seen the things you've done...... With these you'll be able to exact the revenge you deserve on Ponyville and Mare-Do-Well. The Plague Doctor is going to make a revenge call.

Authors Note: This was supposed to be made on October but I was preoccupied. But enjoy this Nightmare Night chapter and Happy Late Nightmare Night.
Canterlot is a very sophisticated city. The ponies are dignified and never do anything fillyish or coltish. Except for one specific pony.
"IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!" A voice shouted in the Castle.
That voice belonged to none other than Prince Blueblood, Princess Celestia' nephew, and he was still upset about the incident at the Grand Galloping Gala.
"Those commoners ruined the Grand Galloping Gala and you let them get away with it??!!" Blueblood shouted at Celestia.
"It wasn't their fault. You were just being so stuck-up and rude you ruined the Gala for them." Celestia retorted.
"I ruin the Gala? I'm not the one who caused a whole bunch of stupid animals to stampede into Gala." Blueblood said back,l
"If anything those six should arrested without parole and I'll arrest them myself!!!!"
"ENOUGH!!!!!" Celestias shouted in the royal canterlot voice.
That shut Blueblood up.
"Blueblood I have tried to reasonable to you for months and you still blame my student and her friends for your own fault........ If you can't realize that then your're not fit to be Prince of Equestria or the Nephew I loved." Celestia finished.
"But...... Auntie....." The prince tried to say but was interrupted.
"NOT ANOTHER WORD!!!! Get out of my sight immediately......... Since you caused one of the most fanciest parties to be ruined...... Your dead to me." The sun princess said with anger in her voice.
Blueblood just stood there with his mouth open and tried to say something but all he could produce were whines and then he ran out of the throne room in tears. Celestia then calmed down enough and then thought to herself,
Why did I say that? What did I do?
Blueblood galloped straight into his room at his mansion and cried onto his bed.
I'm dead to you? Why would you say that? He thought to himself.
He continued crying and crying and crying. But that soon stopped and it was replaced with a growl of anger.
I see how it is. You don't want those six ruffians to get their Just Desserts. You like them so much your willing to throw me into the curve. Blueblood thought furiously,
If that's how it is....... If I'm dead to you....... THEN YOUR DEAD TO ME!!!!!!!!
He then fired a blast towards pictures of Celestia in his room everywhere until they were all singed and he was breathing heavily.
"I hate you Celestia!!!!!! I HATE YOU!!!!!!!!" He shouted.
He then eyed a newspaper that eyed the Elements of Harmony.
"And I especially hate you six commoners!!!!! You, Miss Rarity, the most I hate!!!" He shouted.
He then fired a fire spell and burnt up the newspaper.
"I'll do whatever it takes to destroy you six...... And if Celestia and her no good sun loving face gets in the way....... I'll DESTROY HER TOO!!!!!!!" Blueblood roared in extreme hatred.
Then suddenly his big window blew open and a dark mist rolled in. Blueblood looked at it in confusion and suddenly a voice was heard in the room,
"I have heard your cries of anger. And I have come to grant you your wish."
"Who are you? Show yourself!" Blueblood shouted.
The mist then formed into a pony shape and then a ghostly spirit was seen. And that spirit was none other than Nightmare Moon.
"Nightmare Moon? I thought you were gone forever." The prince said nervously.
"Well you thought wrong..... I heard your cries of angerment, bitterness and jealousy...... And I'll help you to destroy the elements and Celestia......." Nightmare Moon said.
Prince Blueblood's nervous face then turned into a cocky, evil face with an evil smirk and he said,
"Yes...... Give me the power...... I want it!!!!" He said.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. As you wish." The ghostly apparition said.
Nightmare Moon then turned back into a mist and then swarmed around Prince Blueblood and then seeped into his skin and he was risen into the air. His eyes turned into cat-like irises, his mane turned starry blue, his color turned black and his clothes turned black as well and out of his back grew two black wings and then a shockwave went throughout Canterlot shattering windows. When the smoke resided Blueblood looked upon his new appearance and laughed evilly,
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!! Prince Blueblood no longer exists........ Equestria will bow down to it's true ruler: NIGHTMARE BLOOD!!!!!!"
He then took off with his new wings as he laughed evilly as he flew.
Princess Luna awoke from bed in a cold sweat and trotted to her balcony.
It can't be....... SHE has returned. She thought grimmly.
Nightmare Night was the biggest holiday in Ponyville. Fillies and colts of all ages dressed up in costumes, went door to door collecting treats, and giving them as a sacrifice to the statue of Nightmare Moon. Hoping she won't return to gobble them up. Rainbow Dash particulary loved Nightmare Night, it was the only time of the day where she could pull pranks on the ponies which she was best at. In fact she was up on a storm cloud right now..... She was dressed up in her Shadowbolt costume and waited for a particular bookworm to go right under it. She then found Twilight, she was dressed up as a vampony, the queen of vamponies.
Gotcha right where I want you. The blue pegasus thought to herself.
She fired a bolt which scared the bejeepers out of Twilight and Rainbow laughed and laughed and laughed and went down,
"I got you so good Twilight."
"Yes.... You did." Twilight said annoyed.
"I really need to ask.... Why are you dressed as a vampony?" Dash asked.
"Well since nopony could recongnize my Starswirl the Bearded costume I've decided to go with my second choice...... Count Vampira, the queen of the Vamponies." Twilight said doing the vampony hiss and putting her cape to part of her face.
"A vampony... Oh no." Dash said sarcastically,
"Don't bite my neck or hypnotize me or anything.
Twilight caught on to what Dash was doing..... She was annoyed but had a grin on her face and decided to play along and then she spoke in Queen Vampira's accent,
"Oh but that is exactly what I shall do."
Twilight then wrapped her cape around Dash and brought her close to her face,
"Now you are mine....... And I must say the moonlight shines well off your beautiful face."
Dash was a little confused by this but decided to keep up the act,
"Please.... Think what your doing."
"Ha ha ha ha ha.." Twilight laughed,
"But I'm not doing anything."
Twilight then started staring into Dash's eyes and said,
"Don't you feel tired?"
Dash knew what Twilight was doing and pretended to yawn,
"Now that you mention it..... I do."
"Your getting very sleepy." Twilight said,
"You will do what I say."
Rainbow Dash then had a pretend look of mesmerism and said,
"Mistress..... Take me."
Twilight smiled and said,
"If you insist."
She then brought Dash's face close to hers and then pretended to bite on Dash's neck. Afterwards the two had a good laugh.
"That was comedy gold." Dash said.
"Ha ha ha ha..... I know right? And I all I had to do was read Rad Stroker's Vampira a hundred times to memorize each and every page." Twilight said.
"And we're back to the egghead Twilight." The blue pegasus said nonchalantly.
"Hi-Yah Girls!!!" Somepony shouted.
Twilight and Dash jumped as Pinkie Pie came out of nowhere. She was wearing a top hat with a black cape and the mustache she wore when Spike was Applejack's assisstant.
"Pinkie? Where'd you come from?" Dash asked.
"I came from my mom.... Where do you think?" Pinkie said.
Dash groaned and told herself it was Pinkie being Pinkie.
"Guess you can't guess who I'm dressed as." The pink pony taunted.
"....... Wiley Whipsmash." Dash said.
"Wrong.... Wiley Whipsmash." Pinkie said.
"But I just said Wiley Whipsmash." The blue pegasus said confused.
"You did? Then your right." Pinkie said with a smile.
Dash chuckled a bit knowing that Pinkie can be very strange but she can be very funny at times. Plus it was nice to take a break from being Mare-Do-Well for awhile since criminals hadn't been breaking laws a lot. Dash then came upon Applejack and her applestand and she was surprisingly wearing her scarecrow costume from last year.
"Howdy Dash." The cowpony said tipping her hat.
"Um... Applejack. How come your wearing your costume from last year?" Dash asked in confusion.
"Well I thought it would be nice if I wore my costume from last year to remember the good times I've had." Applejack explaining giving her costume a good dusting.
"Uh okay then." The speedster pegasus said scratching her head.
Rainbow Dash just kept on trotting around town, playing games, pulling a few pranks then and there and having quite the best time of her life.
Hours passed and Dash had collected a whole bunch of candy from her trick or treating and had her bag so full that the bottom almost ripped.
"Wow. I'm gonna need a bigger candy bag after this run." She joked and chuckled a bit.
Suddenly she felt that something seemed..... Wrong. She turned towards one of the buildings and immediately a shadow was being formed from darkness but it was hard to tell who it was.
"Ponies, Citizens of this common town. You think that Nightmare Night is a time to have fun..... but it's not." The shadow said,
"It's the time to be scared, to be filled with fear. And I'm here to show you fear itself!!!"
The shadow then raised it's hooves and dark blasts came from them shooting into the sky and out dropped clouds of darkness falling onto the town and out of them came creatures of such horror that they can't even be described by normal words.
Everypony began screaming and running away from the creatures and some were tackled and almost mauled to death while the shadow laughed evilly at the panic and terror. Dash took cover behind a wall and got out her Mare-Do-Well costume from her saddle bag,
"Looks like Mare-Do-Well can't have a holiday break."
She immediately put it on and jumped up to a building right across from the building the dark shadow was on and shouted in her disguised voice,
"Halt in the name of Justice!!!!"
The shadow looked over and saw Mare-Do-Well and said,
"Ah. So your the legendary Mare-Do-Well I've heard about. I thought you were just a myth. But it appears that many things are real."
"Yeah they are. And the pain your gonna feel will be very real unless you stop this at once." Mare-Do-Well threatened.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! I don't think so. This pitiful town full of commoners will know what it means to feel terror." The shadow chuckled.
Dash then felt something about that phrase seem familiar,
Commoners? That seems familiar...... Wait could it be?
The shadow then retracted the darkness over him and revealed himself to be none other than Prince Blueblood, only he had green cat irises, dark wings, dark color and the horn was dark as well,
"You once knew me as Prince Blueblood. But now I have been reborn.... I am now.... NIGHTMARE BLOOD!!!! AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!"
Mare-Do-Well gasped underneath her mask at the identity of the shadow. Nightmare Blood had an evil grin and chuckled to himself,
"Surprised Mare-Do-Well?! I'm sure the rest are as well."
"You no good dirty traitor!!! Why would you do this??!!" Mare-Do-Well shouted.
"I deserve to be the proper ruler of Equestria not my pitiful aunt, that no good sun loving pitiful wreck. So I'm going to take over her precious town and make it as my own!!!" Nightmare Blood shouted at the top of his lungs.
"That's not going to happen!!!" The hero shouted and flew right towards him.
However the villain stepped to the side and grabbed one of her wings and flipped her everywhere on the roof slamming her on her stomach,
"Pitiful and predictable."
He then spun her around and bucked her across the rooftop but Mare-Do-Well skidded to a halt.
"I see your quite athletic. But it won't help you here." The villain said firing a dark energy bolt towards the hero.
Mare-Do-Well dodged to the side to avoid the blast and the other blasts that came after. Mare-Do-Well eventually reached to the belt of her costume and threw a horseshoe shaped like a boomerang towards Nightmare Blood, it was a Horseshoerang. However Nightmare Blood dodged it and used his magic to make dark spikes come out from the ground and almost speared her but she flew up to dodge. The villain flew after her really fast and bucked her halfway across the town and into the clock tower smashing the the glass in front of the clock. She skidded down to the bottom but stopped herself as she neared the ground.
How'd he get so strong? How'd he became an alicorn? And why is now completely dark everywhere. She thought to herself.
She got to her hooves and fought off some of the creatures that Blueblood summoned giving them all quick bucks. Eventually Nightmare Blood caught up to her and landed with a crack in the ground,
"You fight well against my creatures."
He then lit up his horn which was a dark color and he zapped a bunch of ponies around the town and in a flash their eyes became completely white and they shambled towards Mare-Do-Well like zombies,
"But let's see you go against your own townsponies." Nightmare Blood taunted.
Some of the brainwashed ponies tackled her to the ground but the hero fought them off. Some of the brainwashed unicorns fired blasts from their horns and the brainwashed pegasi tried to tackle her but Mare-Do-Well kept dodging them all but didn't want to hurt them considering they were doing this against their own will.
"Not very easy trying to stop me and not hurt these poor citizens is it?" Blood taunted.
"Stop this at once and face me like a stallion!!" Mare-Do-Well shouted.
"I would but I have pressing matters to attend to." The villain said dusting himself off.
He then sprouted dark tendrils from his back and they grabbed Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy,
"Oh... And I'll be taking the trash that ruined the Gala for me."
Immediately he teleported himself and his hostages out of there and the dark cloud receeded and the brainwashed ponies eyes turned back to normal and they fell onto the ground in a daze.
Dash felt exhausted and breathed hard,
Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Rarity...... I'll save you. I will.
She then took to the skies and flew off to find Nightmare Blood.
Nightmare Blood took his hostages to the Princesses old castle in the Everfree Forest and locked them in the dungeons.
"Why are you doing this Blueblood?" Rarity asked.
"Why? Because you and your no good friends ruined the Grand Galloping Gala and my life!!!!" Nightmare Blood shouted.
"You ruined the gala for y'allself you no good stuck up jerk!" Applejack shouted in anger.
"SILENCE!!!" The villain shouted and used a shadow fist and sock the cowpony in the face,
"If you want to stay alive I'd suggest shutting your no good commoner mouths."
"You no good big meany." Fluttershy insulted.
"Such a child. No wonder your only friends are the roadkill you keep in your house." Blood taunted.
"HOW DARE YOU??!!!" The yellow pony shouted and did her Stare at Blueblood,
"Let us go right now and stop all this at once or suffer the consequences!!!!"
However Nightmare Blood did his own stare and did it at Fluttershy,
"You dare talk to me like that???!!!! I'LL RIP YOUR SKULL FROM YOUR HEAD AND YOUR HEART FROM YOUR CHEST!!!!!"
The shy pony immediately whimpered down to the floor and looked away in fear and Blood chuckled,
"I have special plans for you five. I only wish Raindow Dash were here.... oh well you five will suffice."
Nephew. I sense an intruder coming here. Nightmare Moon said in Blood's mind.
Really? I wonder who that could be? Nightmare Blood thought back,
"Sit tight girls. You'll be very useful to my plan."
His horn lit up darkly and then fired it at the five Elements of Harmony and eventually they became actual personifications of their costumes. Twilight became Vampira, Pinkie became Wiley Whipsmash, Applejack beacame a dark scarecrow with a scythe, Fluttershy beacme a vampony bat and Rarity became an evil dark queen.
"Now my servents. Once Mare-Do-Well gets here... Destroy her." Blood ordered.
"It vill be my pleasure." Twilight said in a vampony accent.
"Heh, heh. You got it." Pinkie said twirling her mustache.
"Y'all wish mah command." Applejack said tipping her head after taking it off and putting it back on.
Fluttershy screeched in agreement.
"Of course. Off with her head." Rarity said in a queenly accent.
Mare-Do-Well burst through the door of the old castle and shouted,
"BLOOD!!! Where are you???!!!"
"Come join me Mare-Do-Well. I have a surprise for you." Blood's voice echoed throughout the castle.
Our hero trotted up the stairs and into the throne room where Nightmare Blood sat on a throne with an evil smile on his face,
"How nice of you to join my little tea party."
"I'm not here for a party. I'm here my friends. Let'em go!!!" Mare-Do-Well shouted in anger.
"Oh... About your friends. That's the surprise." The villain said and clapped his hooves.
Immediately a pair of bats flew down from the ceiling and they formed into Twilight. Only she looked exactly like Vampira,
"Good evening. I am here to suck your blood!"
Then immediately a train sound was made and one went through the wall with Pinkie on it, only she was completely like Wiley Whipsmash and was carrying a whip,
"Next stop death."
Then parts of a scarecrow fell down and formed together to make Applejack who was exactly like a scarecrow and she twirled a scythe. Then Fluttershy flew down looking exactly like a vampony bat and hissed at Mare-Do-Well. Then Rarity came out on her own throne looking like a queen with guards holding up the throne,
"Off with your head!!!"
"What did you do to them!!!!" Mare-Do-Well shouted.
"Oh... I just combined the Elements with their costumes with some dark magic and boom! Instant minions created to destroy you." Blood taunted leaning back.
How dare he!!! I'll make him pay for this!!!! Dash thought to herself in anger.
"Enough stalling. Girls... Destroy her!!!" The villain shouted.
Then in a flash Dash's friends charged at her but she flew up to avoid them,
I can't fight my friends.
But then a whip lassoed around her hoof and she was brought down to the ground and Pinkie was holding the whip,
"Now if you'll stay still I think I'll just cut you in half!!!"
She then got out a chainsaw and revved it up and charged at Mare-Do-Well. Our hero got out of the way and doged Pinkie's strikes and got right behind her and used her own whip to tie her up really tight.
Twilight then charged with her fangs showing and almost bit into Mare-Do-Well''s neck but she ducked before the fangs could connect and she threw a smoke bomb which blinded Twilight and then she used her cape to wrap her in it and spun her around making her dizzy and fall onto the ground with stars around her head.
Applejack then began attacking Mare-Do-Well with her scythe intending to cut off her head,
"Stand still so I can cut you!"
Our hero kept dodging the scythe attacks and then flew around the scarecrow making her dizzy and then Mare-Do-Well found a loose thread and pulled it which made Applejack's scarecrow parts seperate and fall apart.
"Aw cornapples." Applejack said looking at her body parts.
Fluttershy then flew down with a desire to rip out Mare-Do-Well's throat but the hero threw a horseshoerang at her and it hit her in the head causing her to fall to the ground.
Mare-Do-Well then began dodging sword swipes from Rarity's guards and magic blasts from Rarity herself. The hero then blocked the swords and then kicked the guards in the faces knocking them out and she rushed up to the queen who was still firing magic blasts from her horn,
"Die you pitiful commoner!!!"
The hero then threw a flash bang in her eyes blinding her and making her fall of her throne and hitting her head real hard making the crown she was wearing fall off and knock her out.
I'm sorry girls. Mare-Do-Well thought to herself and turned her attention to Nightmare Blood,
"This has gone far enough!!!"
"Your right it has. Let's end it here and now." Blood said smashing his hooves on his throne and flew right at her.
The two exchanged punches and kicks each of them blocking the others blows. Eventually Blood grew tired and just began firing dark magic blasts towards Mare-Do-Well but she dodged them all and threw some horseshoerangs at the villain which hit him in the head real hard but he kept on standing,
"You can't stop me. Thanks to my dark power I shall rule Equestria with a dark hoof. Once I use my dark magic on the citizens of Ponyville and make them my servants I'll have an army to conquer Equestria and destroy that mule Celestia."
"You dare insult the princess??!!!" Mare-Do-Well shouted and charged at him landing one good buck to the face and tons of punches as well and one final powerful kick sent Blood flying into the throne causing it to explode. However he got back on his hooves,
"A good effort but you'll never defeat me. With all this dark magic handing down from Nightmare Moon herself I'm unbeatable!!!"
That's when it hit Dash. Blueblood got his powers from Nightmare Moon and she knew how to defeat him and saw the sun rising outside the windows.
"I think that statement is wrong." Mare-Do-Well taunted.
"Your quite stubborn and annoying." Nightmare Blood said with a frown.
"Really? Well I think I'm just Shining to see you." The hero joked going up to the windows shattering the glass and letting the sunlight flow in and it shined onto Nightmare Blood causing him to wince and scream in pain as steam hissed from all over his body.
Eventually his dark form disappeared and his normal form went back to his normal self. Mare-Do-Well then cracked her knuckles and went up to him.
"Not my beautiful face." Blueblood pleaded.
"Too late for that." Mare-Do-Well joked landing a really hard punch to his face knocking him out on the ground.
She then turned her attention to her friends who had turned back to normal.
"Time to get you girls back home and Blueblood to Alcatrot." She said proudly.
Everything went back to normal. All of Ponyville was safe and Blueblood was in a cell in Alcatrot. Speaking of whoom said former prince was in a solitary confinement cell muttering to himself,
"This isn't the last you've heard of me Mare-Do-Well and Elements."
He then felt his dark Nightmare power on his hooves,
"And you shall feel the wrath of Nightmare Blood."
Celestia's sun shined over Ponyville, Equestria. The citizens were going about their daily lives and doing it happily. One certain Pegasus pony, however, was not doing her job....... in fact she was napping on a cloud. She was blue with a rainbow colored mane and tail, her wings were cyan-coated and her cutie mark was a rainbow lightning bolt. Her name was Rainbow Dash, Fastest pony in all of Equestria. She was dreaming of being a part of the Wonderbolts after getting promoted from being a trainee. That dream however was interrupted by a very loud scream which woke her up immediately.
"What the....?" She went and flew to where the scream came from.
What she saw was a carriage going out of control and was about to plummet into a canyon. With quick reflexes she flew behind the carriage and used her strength to pull back real hard and as a result the carriage came to a stop.
"Phew....... Is everypony alright?" Dash asked.
"We're okay, Rainbow Dash. Thanks." The ponies in the carriage said.
"No need for thanks." The blue Pegasus said flying off.
She then got back to her cloud to take a nap again. But she couldn't sleep. The last time she saved somepony from danger was when she got carried away about being a hero and bragged all the time. Then she met somepony called The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well, which turned out was all of her friends tricking her into learning a lesson. Those thoughts to plague her mind as more and more ponies were in trouble all day: Carriages were going out of control, building were catching fire, the occasional cats stuck up trees and the Dam almost breaking that needed to be fixed.
After a whole day of saving the day Rainbow Dash was exhausted and went to her cloud home and got in bed to sleep. Yet even she couldn't sleep at night as thoughts and dreams of Ponyville in danger and evil ponies causing mayhem plagued her dreams and the more she dreamed the more nervous she became. Then she screamed,
"THAT'S IT!!!! I can't take it anymore. After all the danger in Ponyville today, this town needs a hero........"
Then a thought came to her head and she got a grin on her face.
"And I think I know who that hero should be."
Twilight Sparkle was sleeping peacefully in bed when suddenly rapid knocking came at her door and she was awoken in a flash.
"I'M COMING!!!" She shouted.
She mumbled incoherantly as she made her way downstairs.
Who could be here this time of the night? The library's closed. Twilight thought to herself as a lot of ponies knock on her door after closing time.
When she opened it her friend, Rainbow Dash, was there and she said,
"Can I come in?"
"Um....... Sure, I guess." The lavender unicorn agreed.
The blue Pegasus flew right in and Twilight closed the door,
"What are you doing here, Rainbow? The latest issue of Daring Doo doesn't arrive for weeks."
"...... Well.......... Did you notice that all day ponies were in trouble and disaster was in turn on every corner?" Dash asked.
"Yeah....... That was a crazy day. Almost like the day that you became brash in being a hero. It was also the day that me and our friends became The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well and taught you a lesson. So what brings you here?" Twilight asked.
".... I want to become a superhero again." The blue Pegasus said.
Twilight blinked a few times and then cleaned out her ears to see if what she heard was right.
"Did you forget what I said about you bragging about being a hero?" She asked.
"No I didn't........ It's just that I keep thinking about and dreaming about Ponyville in absolute terror and nopony protecting it. Being the Element of Loyalty I'm loyal to my town and want to make sure it's safe at night and day....... So I wanted my own Mare-Do-Well costume." Dash explained.
Twilight saw the look on her friend's face, it looked like she was truly worried and had determination in her eyes. She sighed and said,
"Alright. I'll ask Rarity in the morning to make another Mare-Do-Well costume."
"Thanks, Twi. You won't regret this." Dash said flying outside.
"I hope I don't." Twilight groaned and climbed back into bed.
"You want me to make Rainbow Dash a Mare-Do-Well costume?" Rarity asked confused.
"Yeah..... She's really worried about the safety of Ponyville after yesterdays crazy day of danger." Twilight said.
"I do agree, darling. Something should be done about all the danger......... Oh what the hay? What could go wrong?" The white fashionista asked.
Rarity then went to her sewing room and after six hours the costume was done.
"And now to send this to Dash." She said.
She put it in a box and sent it to the Post Office.
Rainbow Dash was making herself a daisy sandwich when a knock came at her door, she opened it and revealed it was Derpy Hooves, the Mail Pony.
"Hi, Dash. Got a package for you from your friend, Rarity." She said.
"Really? Um..... Thanks." Dash said grabbing the package.
"Gotta go. Got other packages to deliver, if I don't lose them first." The grey mail-pony said flying off on her route.
Dash brought the package to a table and thought to herself,
Wonder it could be. Probably one of her frilly dresses she wants to model for.
She finally opened the package and lifted it up to reveal the Mysterious Mare-Do-Well costume. She squealed in delight and went,
"WOOOO HOOOO! She actually made it."
She went to her changing room and put on the costume. She looked at her reflection through the mirror and smiled under the mask and tipped the hat.
"Time for the Mysterious Mare-Do-Well to make her grand return." She said.
Luna's moons shined over Ponyville and it was a stormy night. Everypony was asleep but on one of the tallest buildings in Ponyville one lone figure stood on top. Lightning flashed and the silhouette was revealed to be none other then The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well. But under the mask was none other then the Fastest flier in all of Equestria: Rainbow Miriam Dash. She peered over her city and under the mask she had a look of confidence on her face.
Time for the Masked Mare of Mystery to descend. She thought to herself.
She backed up a bit and took off flying throughout the town.
Yet underneath Ponyville, in a secret laboratory, Another masked pony was busy at work. He was wearing a black brim hat, as bird-like beak mask on the face with an overcoat that covered his body from front to back and black boots on the pony's hooves. He was looking through a crystal ball that showed Mare-Do-Well flying through the air.
"So...... The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well returns." The pony said.
He made the image on his crystal ball disappear and made his way to a machine he built and picked up a mechanical boot with syringes attached to the front. He put it on his right front hoof and put in the machine and started it up. Then a black liquid made it's way into the syringes and then he pulled it out. Under his mask he smiled evilly.
"If Mare-Do-Well has returned......... Then it's time for the Plague to return. Beware Ponyville, The Plague Doctor is making a house call." He said.
He then laughed evilly as he made his way to a tunnel that leads to the surface.
