Pinkie opened the door at the end of the hallway and jumped through. As she looked around at her new surroundings she noticed that there were portals wherever she looked. She was in the portal room of Canterlot Castle.
"Perfect, I knew that this room was around here somewhere!" announced the pink pony to herself, "Now which portal is the one that Twilight went through? It's hard to remember, they all look the same."
It was late evening in Canterlot and Pinkie and her friends were spending the night in the castle until they returned home the next day. Of course, Pinkie couldn't sleep at a time like this, in fact, she normally could sleep at any time, but that was besides the point. The point was that Twilight had traveled to a new and awesome place without her, and she had all the fun without her. Now Pinkie hated missing out on fun things, especially if they were once in a lifetime fun things. So, she had decided to slip out of the sleep chambers at night and go through one of the portals. Then, she would have lots of fun exploring a new world, and come back before morning. Nopony would ever know that she was gone; it was the perfect plan!
"I'm so nervouscited!" smiled Pinkie inspecting each portal, "If only I knew which one Twilight had went through."
After a little contemplation Pinkie decided the best way to pick the right portal. It was as simple as Eeny, meeny, miny, moe! Even if she didn't pick the right portal she'd still have a super fun adventure.

And finally, on the far side of the room, there was a white door leading out of it.

With great effort Pinkie tried to stand up on her feet. From what Twilight had explained, in the place that she had traveled to people only stood on two legs. Pinkie hoped that it was the same for this world.

Hanging on the wall of the room was a large mirror. In it Pinkie could see the reflection of the bed and herself laying on it.

I wound love to talk more, but the interdimensional vortex in your closet is going to close at any minute now and I have to get back home. You should come to Equestria sometime! If you stop by Sugar Cube Corner I'll give you a free cupcake! Anyways, see ya!"
With that, Pinkie Pie dove into the closet head first leaving the cross-eyed person speechless and dumbfounded.
After taking a few minutes to comprehend what had just happened she sat down and rubbed her temples, "The doctor told me that I was special, but I didn't know that he meant I was crazy..."
