This Chapter Isn't Really From Anybody's Point Of View.

The sun rose over the outskirts of Ponyville, a blinding glow shining in different directions in order to light up the entirety of Equestria. Strong beams of light reflected off of one particular household.Inside lived a mare called Dreamcatcher. She had a cream colored coat topped off with a royal blue mane and tail. There was just one complication, she was blind.

Ever since she was born she had been diagnosed with blindness for life, and has always had great difficulty managing her everyday life. Despite the fact that everypony in town knew about her condition, Dreamcatcher always felt like she was in somepony elses way.

She was just in the middle of yet another dream where she didn't have any problems when her perfect world was interrupted by a small knocking on the door. Dreamcatcher sat up, taking her usual tumble as she attempted to climb out of bed. Her mother would usually be there to assist her, but was attending a course in Canterlot for a week.

" Just coming " she yelled as loudly as she could, quickly try to get back on to all fours to avoid annoying whoever might of been waiting at the door. In desperation to move quicker, she accidentally misplaced herself and ended up colliding with one of the walls in her room.

After about a minute she finally managed to make her way to the top of the stairs which Dreamcatcher would of taken about 5 minutes to walk down if it weren't for the fact that she went crashing down to the ground below.

" Are you okay in there? " a voice bellowed from outside the door.

" Never better! " she lied, once again struggling to resume her normal posture. She carefully positioned her hoofs, trying her best to avoid further injury. Taking a misturn, she walked right into the living room and into the window which appeared to be fully opened. Unfortunately, gravity failed to have sympathy for Dreamcatcher and sent her flying to the ground once again. She landed right in front of the hooves of a ocean blue pony with white flowing hair with a light blue stripe located on her fringe.

" Umm... are you alright? " the mare asked, trying to assist the pony who lay before her. Suddenly realizing that Dreamcatcher was blind, she forcefully grabbed her and threw her onto her hooves.

Dreamcatcher rubbed her head with a hoof, mumbling something that seemed like she held a grudge against the fact that she had been helped like that.

" Yeah, I'm fine. I trip over all the time, you could say I'm used to it "

" I see. Uh.. I'm not entirely sure how we're going to get back into your house but I'm sure that we- "

" Just use the door, obviously. " Dreamcatcher smiled, pointing to thin air. The pony standing next to her lowered Dreamcatchers hoof.

" It'd be a good idea but, it'll be locked since you just made your way out the window " she mumbled. She layed her hoof on the door, expecting it to be locked shut. " See? It's bolted shut like I said. " She tapped on it once or twice to prove her point, before the door flicking right open leaving the ocean blue mare lying helplessly on the ground.

" Like I said, just.. use the door. I don't lock it because well, I don't know how to. " Dreamcatcher told her, un-noticeably walking over the mare as if she were a doormat.

A few minutes later they were sitting face to face on the sofa's in Dreamcatcher's living room..

" Anyway, I'd better be introducing myself. My name's Moonlight Charm and I'm the psychologist you requested. I've come all the way from Cloudsdale, so your lucky to have such a considerate person such as myself to be able to be happy to wake up to fly down here. " Moonlight Charm explained, seeming as if she was about to fall asleep on the sofa.
" So, are there any problems that you would like me to help you with? " she asked, trying to throw on a small smile despite knowing that Dreamcatcher couldn't see it.

" Well, for starters I'd like to be able to socialize a bit more often. I'm too scared to go out in public, afraid that others will see me differently and laugh at me. I'm also way too clumsy, I'd probably end up ruining everything if I even tried to walk out there. "

" Have you ever been out there before? " Moonlight responded, trying to gather as much information as possible.

" Yes, some laughed at my appearance . They said something about my hair, and.. something about bubbles. Im not sure what that was about, but I had drunk some coffee before I went out that day. "

" I think I can help you with your hair, Im not entirely sure what the whole entire bubbles and coffee thing is about. May I ask how often you brush your hair? " Moonlight asked, looking at what might be a re-created birds next on a pony's head.

" Um.. well when my Mum was staying around she would do it everyday. But about a month ago she left on a buisiness trip, she won't be returning for a year or maybe longer. I would brush it myself but... the truth is.. well.. I don't really know how to brush it. " she replied, wearing a sad look on her face.

" Well, maybe I can teach you. Infact, I could teach you a lot of new things if you really wanted me too. "

" You would do that? "

" Well, yeah. What better way to earn a raise in my job to pay off the rent! " she giggled, and Dreamcatcher couldn't help but let out a laugh too.

" Now, let's see.. I've got the hairbrush right here. Here, take my hoof. " she said, taking hold of a smooth cream hoof. Slowly, Moonlight started to guide the hairbrush down the back of Dreamcatcher's head. It was painful for Dreamcatcher at first, but after a few minutes of extreme complaining, the hair was flowing gently down her back. " We're almost done, just a few more strokes to go. "

" Oh? When will you let me do it without your support? Dreamcatcher asked, still feeling as if someone was holding on to her.

" You already are " she replied, Dreamcatcher had been brushing her hair by herself since about five minutes after they started to brush her hair. Dreamcatcher was full of happiness, and she couldn't hold it in. She hugged Moonlight around the wings. It was uncomfortable for Moonlight, but she decided that she wouldn't mind this time. Just this once, she would let something stay the same. Somehow the hug felt different to how others would usually do it.

" Thank you, Moonlight " Dreamcatcher whispered, slowly but surely falling asleep on Moonlight.

" You're very welcome, now let's get you off to bed " she replied, helping Dreamcatcher onto her hoofs, and taking one to hold for herself. " I'll help you up the stairs if you like " she said gently, walking out of the room with Dreamcatcher safely in her sight. There was a special bond secretly forming between Dreamcatcher and Moonlight Charm, they just needed to discover it for themselves first.
