Written Script had a very dull life. Get up, eat, write stories, eat again, write more stories, eat one more time, write even more stories, then sleep. It was a regular process, nothing out of the ordinary. His life was truly dull.

Written Script levitated a box of cereal out of his cupboard. Corn Flakes, guess I could eat those. He opened a different cupboard. Bowl, and now... He closed both cupboards, and opened a drawer, pulling out a spoon. He then moved towards his refrigerator. He stopped, however, when he thought he saw movement outside his window. He looked outside it. Nothing. Shrugging, he went back to his fridge to get his milk.

Now it was time to prepare his meal. Written Script placed the bowl on the counter, filled it with cereal, added milk, and stuck the spoon in. He sat down at his table to eat.

Looking out the window, Written Script couldn't help but feel pity. Such a beautiful day, and he couldn't enjoy it. You know what? No. I'm going to write outside today. It'll be good for inspiration, and that kind of stuff. He shoved a spoon full of cereal into his mouth. Pancakes tomorrow, definitely. I'm getting tired of cereal every single day.

There it was again. The movement outside his window. Every single time, nothing was there. It was starting to drive him insane. He probably seeing things, right? Why would things move outside his window? It was ridiculous. He was being ridiculous.

Written Script glanced at a photo on his wall. What a nice family it HAD been. There was his sister, Ditzy, with her daughters, Dinky and Sparkler. And her husband, The Doctor. He recognized his father, Sightseer, and his mother, Monochrome Sunset. There was his brother, Hugh Jelly. There was Written Script's sister in-law, smiling as always, in front of her extension of the family. Then, there was this part. He was smiling, with his beautiful wife and daughter. It hurt too much, he quickly looked away from the photo. He suddenly didn't want to go outside, but rather stay holed up inside again.

This was to much for him, Written Script needed to sit down. He was haunted by the memories. He could never face his family after the events that had occurred. They never knew-

A knock at the door. It was simple, but it had interrupted his thoughts. He slowly got up and opened the door. Wall-eyed stare, smile as always.

"Hello, big brother!" Ditzy said, "It's been a while, and we live in the same town!"

"Well, I've been meaning to visit, Ditzy." Written Script said, "But I've just been so busy with work and all, I've never been able to to make the time."

"I'm not stupid, Written Script." Ditzy was suddenly very serious, "I've been reading the signs. You miss them, and you can't talk to us because of that."

"Ditzy Doo! That's ridiculous!" he exclaimed.

"Stop lying to yourself, brother." Ditzy said, "Let me help."

"Everything is fine, Ditzy!" Written Script practically yelled, "You don't need to worry!"

"Then come take a walk with me." Ditzy said, "A lot has changed since we last saw you, and you haven't been answering your phone, or replying to our letters."

"Ditzy..." Written Script stepped out of his house, "Fine."

"Good." Ditzy said, "So, have you heard the news?"

       "Which one?" Written Script asked.

"Well, The Doctor and I are expecting our first foal together." Ditzy smiled.

"Congratulations, Ditzy." Written Script said, "Maybe it'll be a boy this time."

"Don't tell the little thing about... you-know-who, alright?" Ditzy asked.

"Ditzy, I'm an author, I'm not going to be around much, so I can't tell him." Written Script said.

Late that night, Written Script was still awake, though it didn't look that way. He was deep in thought, but they were interrupted by a scream.
