The royal guard gazed out the crystal clear glass so he could get a good view of the town as the train screeched to a stop while passengers on bored got ready to get off. However, the guard kept looking out the window. There was a short white zebra with black stripes around his legs passing by the train. Something about him caught his attention. The zebra was carrying around a worn out brown book bag that help potions and books of many kinds in it. The guard hopped off the train as quickly as he can to catch up with the zebra. "Hey! Wait up!" He called out using his command voice to get his attention. The zebra turned to reveal his pure silver eyes that shimmered under the red hot sun. "Yeah?" He said in a southern accent. After extanging a few words, the two of them got to know each other very fast. It turns out that the intimidating looking zebra was actually nice and kind. His name was Silver Storm but he went by Stormy. The guards name was Shoty and tended to be impatient with ponies. Shoty got to the point and said, "Look. The princess knows that she can't take down her sister alone. Nor would she have the heart to do it. She sent me to go out and find a powerful..." He tried recalling the word by looking up in the air for a split second before saying "spell user. Any who, I think you are great enough to create a what ever Celestia has in store for you. We you up to it?" He asked. Stormy rubbed his furry white chin as he started to do some serious thinking. After a minute if so of pondering in his mind, he replied "It would be an honor. When and where shall I meet the princess?" He asked tilting his head slightly. Shoty opened his mouth to speak but realized that he only had so little information. "You know...she was kind of vague when she told me to find somepony...just meet me at the train station in a week and ill give you more vivid details" he said as he started leaving. Stormy waved as he went to go tell his friends about what just happened to him. Stormy passes by town hall as he went to go visit his closest friend out of the bunch, Starsong. His dirty black hooves clicked along the rocks as he trotted along the pathway to her house. He banged his hoof on her big white door as stormy patiently waited for her to answer. A few moments later, a pink mare with big beautiful green eyes. She smiled at the site of her best friend as she said "Hey Stormy!" In a rather friendly and calm tone. In a snap, Stormy started chatting like crazy about what just happened to him. Starsong seemed to be pleased by the news. Star congratulated him on his accomplishment but she did seem rather worried "W-what if it's about princess Luna turning to Nightmare Moon? I don't want you to get hurt" she said standing close to him. "I'll be fine" Stormy assured her, dodging her question. Stormy knew her kindness would affect him no matter what, but he did the best he could to get her chilled out about it. After having a delightful cup of coffee, Stormy left her small and cozy home and went to his next friends house, Blademane. Stormy and Blade were always rough so he simply walked into his old one story home that was covered in red bricks. He stepped onto the dark brown wooden floor and called out for him. An orange unicorn exited from the master bedroom and into the entrance "Stormy! What's up?" He asked in a cheery tone. He repeated what he did at Stars home and went off on him about what had happened to him two hours ago. The further Stormy went on with the story, the more and more Blade seemed interested. Once Stormy was almost out of breath for talking for so long, he wrapped up his story and looked up at him with a stupid smile. "I'm happy for you! You deserve it after how hard you've worked on it" he said with complete honesty. However, stormy could see the Envy in his eyes. Knowing that Blade was actually a better worker than he was, he brought up a deal "Hey blade...how would you like to help me on this?" As soon as he said that, Stormy found himself in a tight hug. "I'll take that as a yes!" Stormy said being muffled by his short orange mane.
