If there was just something that he could do without getting interuppted. Since the whole team got to have a long vacation from performing and doing stunts. For Soarin, as a wonderbolt, he would always have to tour from place to place without staying at one place at the same time. "Hey Soarin, can I tell you something", a voice said calling to him from the hallway. "Who is it", the young wonderbolt called from the closed door. "Hey, you already know who I am", the image said as she opened the door to his room. "Oh hey Spit, I didn't even recognize you", said Soarin laughing at his own joke. Soon the others came in all jumping around really excited. " The heart's and hooves day gala is almost here", they all shouted. "Yeah, I'm excited too guys", said Soarin glumily. "Soari, Cadence's gala is tomorrow. The gala is tomorrow and you better find a date", said Spitfire reminding him. So Soarin took his friend's advice and opened the note and read it to himself. The note said: Dear Soarin Skies, I'm happy to tell you that the Heart's and hooves day gala is tomorrow night. Please do wear formal wear and bring a required date with you. Remember the ball always starts at 7. There will be food,games,and just having fun. Hope the royal family will see you there including Princess Twilight Sparkle. Sincerely, Cadence "Hey Soarin, who's going to be your date?" said Surprise and Spitfire and Fleetfoot laughing. "Um, don't know yet", said Soarin making a goofy smile. "Come on go seek her heart somehow", said Misty Fly and Blaze forcing him out of his room and to the door. "Guys, I don't know what you're talking about and stop", said Soarin as the others were forcing him to go to Ponyville which they didn't tell him. As Soarin was about to say one more word, the others pushed with force and out into the afternoon sky. "Hey be free big blue", his friends called out to him. Chapter 2The real reason Soarin was in Ponyville was he was searching for the mare that he couldn't stop thinking about. So here we go. **************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Soarin was flying high in the sky with peace and quiet. As he was flying he spotted Ponyville. After minutes of flying, Soarin landed in Ponyville. There was one thing Soarin loved about Ponyville, how quiet and peaceful it was. Ponyville was usually a quiet town with ponies enjoying the sun. Every pony in Ponyville didn't notice Soarin with his uniform,but some did. Soarin asked some ponies for directions to where sugarcube corner was. But the all the answers he got was " sign my flank" and "oh my gosh". Soarin just avoided the mares that tried to overcome him and trotted all the way to Sugarcube Corner. Suddenly, a group of crazed fans started running over to him for autographs. So Soarin ran as he could to avoid the crazed fans but eventually got mobbed. The thing was Soarin never liked being attacked by a group of vicious fans even though they were all over him. Meanwhile inside Sugarcube corner, the mane 6 were busy chatting about who would they bring as dates to the Heart's and Hooves Day Gala. " Well for starters guys, I'm bringing Flash Sentry", said Twilight Sparkle. "I'm bringing a stallion named Caramel as my date", explained Applejack. "I'm bringing Thunderlane as my date", explained Fluttershy. "I'm bringing Pokey Pierce as my date", said Pinkie Pie. "Rainbow who are you bringing as your date?" asked Rarity. " I don't know who I'm bringing", sighed Dash. Then suddenly there was a pound at Twilight's library door. When the door opened, a wonderbolt with his uniform on, but with his goggles on came in the door. The stallion was exhausted from taking pictures and writing autographs to his fans. Rainbow recognized him, he was Soarin from the wonderbolts. But what could Soarin be doing in Ponyville? Rainbow wondered what Soarin would be doing in Ponyville. "Hey Soarin, what are you doing in Ponyville?" Rainbow asked him."Just looking for the mare that I really liked since the wedding in canterlot", said Soarin to Rainbow Dash. Then Rainbow said to Soarin to come and meet her friends and so they headed to the room where her five friends were chatting. "You must be Soarin, right?", asked a young looking alicorn. "Yes my name's Soarin', said the wonderbolt. "You must be Soarin, right?I'm Fluttershy", said a yellow coated pegaus with light pink mane. "Hi Soarin, I'm Applejack", said a pony with a cowgirl pony. "Hi Soarin, I'm Pinkie Pie", said a pink pony. "My good sir, I'm Rarity", said a white unicorn. "Nice meeting all of you. And I met your friend Rainbow Dash on seperate occasions", said Soarin joining into their conversation. "Well she seems to be happy to see you too", said PInkie smirking at her rainbow maned friend and the wonderbolt. "Sorry about Pinkie here Soarin, she can be quite the teaser around someone who has a crush on somepony", said Rainbow making a goofy smile which was like Soarin's goofy smile. "Oh no worries Rainbow", said the wonderbolt. So Soarin decided to tell Rainbow Dash something important that he been wanting to tell her. "Rainbow Dash, can I tell you something privately? I wanted to say that I really like you and I was wondering if you would like to be my date to the Heart's and Hooves Day gala? The letter says that must wear fancy as always", Soarin said with reds still on this cheeks. Rainbow nodded her head yes and kissed his cheek one more time. Then suddenly, there was a knock at the door. "Hey can someone open up?" asked a mare's voice."Who is it?" askesd Twilight as she opened the door. "It's me, Soarin's big sister, Spitfire", said the voice. "Oh hey Spitfire", said Soarin waving hello to his best friend and sister. "Hey, aren't you guys the elements of harmony?" asked Spitfire. "Yes we're the elements of harmony. And Spitfire this is Princess Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, PInkie PIe, and Fluttershy", said Rainbow introducing her idol to her friends. "Nice to meet you mane 6", said the yellow mare and the rest of her other teammates. "Tell us about yourselfs. And cousin PInkie", said Surprise running over excitedly to her cousin hugging her tightly. "Nice to see you too Surprise", said Pinkie happily. After the other wonderbolts arrived at Twilight's library, they all sat down at the table where Spike made them cookies to snack on. As they were eating, Soarin told Spitfire that he already asked the mare of his dreams to be his date to the Heart's and Hooves Day Gala in Canterlot. While Fire Streak and the others talked to R.D about life as a wonderbolts. "I'm so excited about the Heart's and Hooves Day gala. I can't even decide what to wear", said Rarity excitedly. "Me too, I can't decide what to wear either", said Twilight. "Hey have all of you found anything to wear for the Heart's and Hooves Day Gala Wednesday night?" asked Applejack. "Since today's Tuesday, the gala is tomorrow. See ya guys tomorrow", said Fleetfoot. Surprise hugged her cousin goodbye and the others said goodbye and flew off to get ready for tomorrow after staying until 5:50p.m. . "Hey guys, I can't wait for tomorrow. It's heart's and hooves day", said Lightning Streak excitedly. "Hey, Lightning chill it", said Fire Streak calming down his way over excited brother. So the others flew into the HQ and went to their rooms before they went to eat dinner in the dining hall. In Soarin's room, he was busy thinking about what would happen at the Heart's and Hooves day gala tomorrow night, even though he had the day off a few days ago. "Hey Soarin, you tired?" asked Spitfire."Maybe a little", said Soarin yawning. "Hey guys, chow time. The others are waiting", said Wave Chill. So Soarin headed to the mess hall with his brother. When they arrived the others were already at the table eating. "Hey,you made it", said Surprise." Yeah I wouldn't miss having the best friends and teammates", said Soarin sitting down and eating his meal. As they were eating, the others were talking and laughing their flanks off about tomorrow night. But Soarin decided he should go to bed a little early even though he arrived at the mess hall at 8:30. "Can't wait for tomorrow", Soarin said to himself as he walked off to his bedroom. "Hey, guys have you seen Soarin?" said Spitfire."Spit,proably he decided to hit the hay early and rest up for tomorrow", said Surprise. "I agree with Surprise here", said Fire Streak and the others cleaning up the dishes and walking back to their rooms to rest up early for tomorrow. And even Spitfire was a little concerned for her brother and friend. "He really did find the perfect mare. Hope everything goes well" Spit thought to herself walking off to her room. Chapter 3Next day, the team woke up early in the beautiful,bright morning sun. They all groaned tiredly muttering that they didn't want to wake up early, but except for Spitfire captain of the wonderbolts, who was always a morning pony. Soarin was never a morning pony. He would just moan and try to go back to sleep, but Spitfire would just take his covers off of him and blow her whistle loudly making the other's ears burst. Spitfire was always famous for having a really mad temper, like her mother always back then. "Guys!! You better wake up or else I'll blow my whistle like always", Spit replied. "Fine cap, we'll wake up", said the others tiredly. So the others got up and got ready to start their day. The team was getting ready for the Heart's and Hooves Day Gala. On such a grand and fine occasion, they would always be excited. Except for Soarin. He was upset that his life-long crush since foalhood would not have a great time with him at the gala. "Cheer up Soar, your marefriend will like you just the way you are", Surprise replied comforting her friend by putting her hoof on his shoulder. "Thanks Surprise, I really appreciate it", Soarin said cheering up a bit. "No prob, Soarin", the white mare said heading off to the bathroom to get ready for the day. Soarin also headed to the bathroom to get ready. First ,he washed his face with a clean towel.Next, he brushed his teeth. Finally, combed his mane. After he was done tidying himself up, he and the others headed to the mess hall to eat breakfast. In the mess hall, there were so many food choices to choose from. All cooked by the staff of bolts. All the food was so tasty, that their mouths were watering. He noticed that the others got to the mess hall before him, no wonder Soarin was always the last one there. "Guys, Soarin is always last", said Fleetfoot. "Yeah right Fleetfoot, he is always last", said Misty Fly. So the others laughed and ate. After eating, the wonderbolts went out the door and flew to Ponyville to get ready for the heart's and hooves day gala at the Crystal Empire. Then they arrived in Ponyville afterwards. So all of landed in a safe spot and headed to Rarity's boutique for their outfits for the gala. When they arrived at Rarity's boutique, Rarity said", Oh hi wonderbolts, can I help you with anything?" "Rarity, we were hoping that you would make us some outfits for the heart's and hooves day gala?" said Spitfire. "Of course, I'd be happy to Spitfire". Of course, Rarity already made outfits for her friends. But should she make outfits for the wonderbolts? After she thought about making formal attire for the Bolts, she went and got out a few pieces of paper to sktech the outfits she was going to make. Then she grabbed different colors of fabric from her closet, including black for Soarin. Being a fashion designer was hard work. Doing this and that was tiring. But Rarity got use to it. Then Spitfire asked how long it was going to take for the outftis to be done. Rarity said that the clothes were going to take to make after lunchtime. So everything was now under control. As Rarity was making the wonderbolt's outfits, the others just chatted as Rarity worked. "I'm so excited about tonight", said Princess Twilight Sparkle. "Me too Twilight, I'm excited", said Rarity who was kind of upset and half happy. "Rarity are you alright?" asked Fleetfoot in asked in kind and caring tone. 'No, I'm just a little jealous". Rarity was upset because all her friends had dates and she didn't. Well, it was almost time for te gala in the Crystal Empire. Every pony was way too excited to even wear their outfits. Rainbow had a little bit of a transparent dress: light blue. And her mane was up in a bun. Twilight wore her cornation dress like always. Applejack wore a dress with boots, which was country style. Pinkie Pie wore a dress of pink and white with pictures of candy on it. So all of them were ready including, Fluttershy. "Off to the Crystal empire", they all cheered. Chapter 4On the train to the Crystal empire, the mane 6 and the wonderbolts sat on the train talking about what they were going to do at Cadence's Heart's and Hooves Day gala, all except Rarity. The white mare was so jealous, that she couldn't even tell her friends about it. Rarity had tried finding a stallion to go out with in Ponyville, but the stallions she tried asking her to go out with her ended up just saying no and poor Rarity felt rejected. All her friends had somepony special and she didn't. "I can't wait. The other colts I use to go out with were not really my type", said Spitfire to Pinkie. "Huh, Spitty, why?" asked Pinkie. "Nothing". All the stallion's and their dates were too excited, they just stopped talking. All the others just stared at the window. Rarity finally knew who she would go out with: Fancy Pants. Yes, that stallion that she met in Canterlot. Any mare would fall for him completely fast. "So are you sure your're going to meet Flash at the Crystal Empire?" said Rainbow Dash puzzled. "Yes Rainbow, I'm sure", said Twilight. Soon the train arrived at the Crystal Empire, the girls got off and stretched their hoofs. The stallions and the mares didn't even wear their outfits yet. So they decided to change before the gala even started. They said their goodbyes to each other and headed to the castle to get dressed. In the bedrooms, the stallions were busy getting dressed. " Hey Soarin, how long have you been crushing on Rainbow Dash?" asked Silver Lining. "Two years, why do you ask Silver Lining?" Soarin said. "Nothing". All of the others were done getting dressed and were ready to go inside the castle to have a fun time at the gala. The stallions were waiting for their dates, and a few minutes they came out looking stunning. The stallion said they looked really nice, of course the 5 mares blushed. So they headed inside to have the best time of their lives from what they have experienced before. They opened the door and everything in the castle was all set up for the gala. The sight was amazing, the others justed awed and stared at the whole castle scenery. Chapter 5The ponies admired the whole scenery, they looked in awe as they walked inside the castle. The whole scenery was so unique. Everything was lined up in its place, no wonder from the top and bottom had crystal written all over it. The mane 6 and their special someponies didn't really have enough time to keep exploring the castle. The gala would begin any minute now!! "We gotta go, the gala will start any minute now", cried Twilight Sparkle. "Guys, Twilight's right. We must go in now", Rainbow said. "Okay, we'll go in now", said Spitfire nodding her head. Soon, they headed to the ballroom to have the best night ever. Of course, all of them were going to have a great time, unlike the Grand Galloping Gala, which was really boring. Then came the fun part, Rainbow and her friends had made the boring event into something exciting, Soarin remembered the memory back in his thoughts. As they entered the ballroom,all of them were so excited about the start of the whole thing was the most magical night they were going to experience. After walking from the entrance, then into the hall, finally into the ballroom. Soarin was so exhausted, including the others too. Then they went their separate ways and headed to other parts of the gala. "Rainbow ,the others left to other parts of the gala", Soarin said to his new marefriend. "Coming Soarin", said Dash. "Guess it's just you and me". So they headed off to the other parts of the castle, which was somewhere private to talk and just hang out. "Hey Lightning Streak, how are you?" said Spitfire kissing her coltfriend on the cheek. Lightning gave the response as a blush. "I'm fine, so where do you want to chat?" "Oh, how about the balcony". Back to Soarin and Dash>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> "It's a really beautiful night". "Yes it is". *Soarin then blushes*"Rainbow this is something I should have told you before at the gala and the canterlot wedding. I've had a crush on you since the day I first met you. And I also kept followig you at wonderbolt academy. I couldn't take my eyes off of you. I don't just like you Rainbow Dash, I.....I love you. All the times you made me happy, is the best ones i have had in such a long time". " Soarin, I don't know what to say. I love you too". * then kisses him on the muzzle* Soarin was shocked by Rainbow's gesture at first, but found out he really like this and closed his eyes and kisses her back. The others just stared in awe. Soarin actually never dated before, but it was his first time doing it himself. Love was the fans that had crushes on him. But he was never interested in them because they only cared that he was a wonderbolt. But Rainbow saw him on the inside as a real pony. That was one thing he loved about Rainbow. After they kissed, they pulled away. Soarin thought it was fantastic, having his first kiss with his new marefriend. The thing was, Soarin never kissed a mare before. Sure all of them were all over him, as Spitfire would say to him. As he was spending time with his marefriend, the clock soon striked midnight. "Gotta go, hope we can meet again fairly soon". *waving goodbye* "Yes I hope to see you again soon". *kisses him goodbye* Soon the others left towards home. Rainbow thought that was the best night she ever experienced since it was heart's and hooves day. She hoped it would be a better day tomorrow, she wondered as she flew home into the night sky, while her 4 friends took the train home and Twilight flew back to the royal castle. Chapter 6 After a long night's rest, poor Soarin and Dashie. Staying at the crystal castle until midnight was exhausting. Now that it was morning, what a day for the girls to wake up and start their day. Applejack had to harvest apples, Fluttershy had to take care of her animal friends, Twilight as always: royal duties, Rarity had to make outfits for the ponies of Canterlot, and Rainbow just slept in lazily as always. After that exhausting night, chatting and having a good time was too much work for the wonderbolts. It reminded them of the grand galloping gala in Canterlot. That occasion was a drab!! Just talking to stuck up ponies; like the canterlot ponies. They hated it. But now, since they got the vacation they always wanted, helped put all the anxiety away. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "What morning already", groaned Soarin looking at Celestia's golden sun. Soarin,as always, never liked waking up early in the morning. He was not a morning pony. Always complaining he never wants to wake up. But he is always forced to, usually for practices for shows/just work outs. That was one thing he did not like. He then went to the bathroom to get ready to start the day. "Soarin, you better be here before 8!!" shouted Spitfire through the speakers. "Yeah, I'm awake", he shouted back to the speaker. Soarin didn't like it when Spitfire would shout at him like that. If he ever heard Spitfire shout him like that again, he would just stay in bed the whole day. Soarin just covered his face on his pillow groaning and complaining to himself once more. "Hey sleepyhead , you awake", Surprise said jumping over to her stallion friend. "What is it Surprise?" "Just stopping by to say good morning, Soar. You better show up at the mess hall, all of us will be waitng for you there". Then Surprise walks off to the mess hall. Soon, Soarin stopped groaning. He then headed to the bathroom to get ready to start his first week of a vacation. Doing all the shows was exhausting, even traveling place to place. He remembered, always, he was the last one to go to the mess hall. It happened all the time. He would just wake up late for no reason, why, because he never sleeps well. That's what makes Soarin lazy. He then noticed that his mane was messy again. " Oh come on, why is mane always sticking up like a porcupine's quill", he said harshly. "Hahahaha!!! porcupine boy", Lightning Streak laughed from the doorway. "Lightning it's not funny. Just because my mane sticks up and is always messy, doesn't mean that it's laughing time". "Soarin, I was laughing at you because your mane is always funny when it sticks up". "Yeah porcupine boy, see you in the mess hall", he said waving hoof and still giggling like a 2 year old foal. After handling a hilarious situatiion, he headed to the mess hall for a morning breakfast. He thought about having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for breakfast. Also, he even thought about spending time with his marefriend, Rainbow Dash today. Then he headed towards the opened doors of the mess hall. "Wonder what's on the menu today". "There you are Soarin, you're the one who's always last to the mess hall, dope", Spit said in high authority voice. "At least someone here is so high rank". "Enough you two, just let my brother get some breakfast, okay", said Wave Chill. "Fine Wavy, you win". "Quit calling me Wavy. No pony should call me by my pet name, am I clear". Soarin just ignored Spitfire and his brother Wave Chill. His brother always liked to bicker with Spitfire every morning. He always thought that those 2 would just act like foals instead, aside from being growned up. Soarin then came to the table and sat down. "You two act like foals rather then adults". He ate his food while Soarin and Spitfire and Wave Chill continued bickering. "Better get going then". He gave the dishes to the caters and headed out the door to Ponyville. Chapter 7- In PonyvilleChapter 7- In Ponyville After leaving the headquarters, Soarin was in a good mood because he never liked being bugged all the time. With the wind in his mane and tail, even the peace and quiet. He adored it so much, but he didn't notice that he was arriving in Ponyville. He shook himself out of his thoughts, and flew down to the small, quiet town. The pegasus loved it up in Cloudsdale, but he'd rather live in Ponyville because it was always a small and quiet town. "Wow I sure love Ponyville, it's such a peaceful town", Soarin said to himself. "Look up above, it's Soarin the wonderbolt", shouted a pegasus mare from a further distance away. "Oh no not this again". He then flew back into the sky again trying to avoid the screaming fanmares. Soarin remembered one time facing screaming fans. He couldn't handle it one bit of that racket. Fans always calling out his name. Then he remembered one of the fans asked him out on a date, he didn't accept it because they only wanted him for what he was, not who he was. Even when he's in uniform, they still recognize him, but for some fans they don't. "Hurry up he's getting away", said the same pegasus mare from before. Then suddenly they tackled him for autographs and pictures always. "We love you Soarin!!" Then he ran as fast he could to Golden Oaks library where Princess Twilight Sparkle lived. He knocked on the door, and suddenly the young allicorn opened the door up quickly beckoning a hoof for him to go inside. When Soarin got inside, the allicorn closed the door. "Whoah there, my friend! Are you alright?' Twilight asked her wonderbolt friend. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's just that where's your friend Rainbow Dash?" "She's with the others chatting and having tea", the allicorn said pointing to a room to where they were. Soarin and Twilight then walked to the other room where the rest of Twilight's friends were sitting and chatting. "It's like their having a good time", Soarin thought to himself. The rest of the mane 6 looked like they were still talking talking to each other, but they were actually talking about the yesterday's hearts and hooves day gala. "I had such a great time last night. It was a dream come true", cried Rarity dreamily. "Me too, last night was awesome",said Rainbow Dash. "Applejack ,what did you and Caramel at the gala last night", said Twilight. "We had our first kiss, and he even asked me out on a date", Applejack said blushing red. Soarin overheard the mane 6 talking about last night's Heart's and Hooves Day gala. He really did have a great time last night. Dancing, chatting, and having a great time was one thing the wonderbolt expected. He never liked chatting with fans from Canterlot. All they talked about was all wonderbolt stuff. Never really caring who they really were on the inside, and only caring about the uniform they wear. Then there was another knock at the door. He opened it, and right in front of him were his teammates. Soarin was surprised to see them. Why were they here in Ponyville anyway? Probably just to see him too. His teammates even liked Ponyville too. How peaceful it always was, while Cloudsdale was okay, but too noisy because of the construction on the clouds. "Guys what are you doing in Ponyville?" Soarin asked his longtime friends. "Same thing as you are", Surprise said. "Seeing what Ponyville is really like. "Twilight sent us a letter to have lunch with her in Canterlot. Even her friends are coming", Spitfire replied. "It is almost lunch time. Twilight told me to wait in the hall before we go to Canterlot". Back in the book room~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Rainbow guess what, I invited the wonderbolts to have lunch with us in Canterlot", Twilight told her rainbow-maned friend. "Oh my gosh, thanks Twilight", Rainbow said hugging her alicorn friend. "Girls we have to get moving". "Okay Twily", her other 4 friends said. They packed up their things in their saddle bags and headed out of the book room. Twilight beckoned a hoof at the wonderbolts to head to the train station, while Twilight took her royal carriage back to Canterlot. After arriving at the train station the 5 of the mane 6, including the wonderbolts jumped on the train. They headed off, and all of them waving to Twilight who was flying in her royal carriage back to Canterlot. Chapter 8 After the carriage ride and the train ride, all of their hooves were aching from sitting down on the seats. "My hooves are aching", Soarin groaned. That train ride was so long that, most of them just continued complainig like little flies and colts all over again. They swore if they sat in another train again, they would be on fire. Since all of them already manage to get off, now it was time to have a time in Canterlot. "Hey guys, so glad you could make it", Twilight said flying down towards them. "Nice to see you too, Twilight", every pony said. All of them were glad to be together again, since they were all hungry. Suddenly, their tummies rumble at the same time. They all laughed at what they heard. "Guys, would to prefer to eat at the castle with me and the princesses or at a restaurant in town?". "The castle would be a better place to eat, Twilight. It would be better if those canterlot ponies wouldn't bug us so much", agreed Spitfire with a nod. The bolts loved their fans, but the always got too crazy around them. Saying hey only want pics and autographs. Then they followed Twilight to the castle to where she now lived. At the castle~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Welcome Twilight, so glad you could make it here for lunch. We have been expecting to come. And I see you also brought the wonder bolts along", Celestia said greeting them. "Right this way", said a guard beckoning a hoof to follow him to the dining hall. "Twilight, this is the first time I am eating lunch with royalty", said Soarin. "I know, you never done this before?" "Well no", the wonderbolt said nervously. Twilight laughed at how Soarin was acting. Since he was not being mobbed by crazy fans, he had all the free time he liked. Still they continued following Twilight and the guard to the dining hall. They all looked at how beautiful the castle's architect was. With their eyes still looking up. When the wonderbolts weren't looking, they bumped into each other's flanks by accident. Twilight's friends just laughed at how silly they were. "We are here. Everypony take a seat, your food will be ready any minute", replied Princess Celestia. "Lunch is served", said a servant pony. "Soarin I have a question for you, ever since the canterlot wedding and grand galloping gala, which was years ago, how long have you known my friend Rainbow here?" "Uh you see, Dash is not just the perfect mare for me, but she's different from other mares I have been with. And I have known her for about 2 years now". "Oh really, that's good". The ponies enjoyed eating lunch with royalty, since it was their first time. Royals don't usually invite outsiders to eat with them. Ever since Twilight became a princess, she was still learning how to perform royal duties. Since it was a tad bit complicated. But she wasn't old enough yet to rule a kingdom I her just yet. Performing duties and air shows was indeed a "royal pain". "Since we had to take a break from doing air shows, how about we do a little strolling in Canterlot?" questioned Soarin. "Yeah, great idea", everypony said in unison. So all of them went from the dining hall and headed to the exit, which was the entrance. However, things for Soarin was always a pain in the flank. Relationship problems, even crazed fanmares. Sure, he did love his fans, but they were all over him. He shook himself out of his thoughts and headed towards the exit with the others. When they got there, everypony was relieved to be outside in the cool,summer air. For Soarin and Dash, feeling the wind in your mane was indeed awesome or maybe amazing. "Finally fresh air", Twilight said flying up to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. Since all of them were exhausted weeks before. Breaks and day offs were the only things a wonderbolt needed. All was well, but they always had trainings every weekends. Except for some weekdays. It was always wake up early, and other boring stuff. The others were just groaning in dismay because of the exhausting day they had the few days before. Always training exercises and warm ups. No matter how much complaining and laziness they show; as always, it is more wing-ups. Enough about that, back to the middle. "Just love the outdoors, it's spectacular and peaceful", Spitfire said smelling the air. While Everypony was enjoying the fresh air, they looked all around them seeing Canterlot usually full with snobby upper-class ponies. Still, they didn't mind them: even if they catch the attention of them or not. But since all of Canterlot was usually peaceful sometimes, but not usually. The city was a little too sophisticated. Ponies putting on too much perfume, for the mares, always. The mares of Canterlot would always wear it, what would they do? Bath in it, gross. "I told you Canterlot ponies put on this type of stuff. Like too much of it", Soarin complained. And they all laughed. The friends were having a great time playing, even hanging out together. All of them were playing like old time pals, like they all knew each other when they were foals. SInce all of them were acting like old freinds, that's what cause them to act like that. Acting like old friends was the bond of delight, but one thing that was important was that they always sticked together. They chatted til they could chat no more and rested under the warm afternoon sun. They pranced like little foals on a hot summer day, after all, it was summer. Summer was the perfect time to relax from traveling all over equestria to do air shows, which was for the wonderbolts, of course. Traveling always drove them crazy: as Spitfire would say bothered their nerves. If one of the members complained and groaned, one would have to carry all the luggage and do 100 wing-ups. That's Spitfire for ya. :rainbowdetermined2: She can be a real hot head when it comes to being the team captain. "Hey team, we might have to get back to Cloudsdale soon", Spit said sadly. "Okay, hope we could see you all again", the mane 6 said waving goodbye. "Whew, now that was a long day", Twilight said. "Yeah right, let's go home", all of them said and laughed as they headed for towards the train station. A great day and a new start has finally begun for the six friends. Chapter 9 A splendid night in Ponyville, ponies about to be tucked in into their comfy beds to get ready for a new day tomorrow. Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Rarity were all preparing to go into their nice cozy beds. Aft we such a long day of Hang out with Equestria's main Pegasus, time to rest after a long day of play. One fled, would just go for a midnight fly to keep problems off his mind. "Wish someone were here with me", Soarin grumbled to himself. He flew into the night, lonely as a lone wolf on a blue moon. The moon glowed in the sky like a minature figure flying,what, was it just an imagination? No it wasn't!Soarin saw a sky blue figure in the dark, he recognized the mare imediately, it was Rainbow Dash. "But what could she be doing her?" Soarin wondered puzzled. He flew behind a cloud to see what Rainbow Dash was doing. "Hey Soarin, what are you doing on a night like this?" Rainbow asked curiously raising an eyebrow. "Oh, not much. Just going for a little fly to get my mind off problems and other stuff". The new couple flied together into the night, staring at the twinkling night sky.Both of them wondered if the night sky would have a splendid twinkling view every night. When meeting each other at the Grand Galloping gala was not particularly love at first sight, first glance at each other's eyes. After being pulled away by ponies that were fans, he never had a chance to hang out with Rainbow, getting to know her a little more after meeting her at the best young fliers competition. She showed great bravery and heroism to the wonder bolts because she had to abandon her routine to save them, the time came and she did a sonic rainboom. Rainbow abandened her routine to rescue Soarin and his teammates because she realized safety for others is more important then the competition. "Hey, why don't we rest on that cloud up there. It is getting kinda cold out here in this beautiful night", he said as he started flying. "Okay, let's go", Dash replied back flying with him. "Are you sure?" "Yes, I am." "Bet ya can't catch me", she said sticking her tongue out, "You bet I can". When he was flying, he bumped into a cloud and fell flat on his muzzle with no scars or scrapes. Rainbow rushed to see how he was.Asking concerned ", You alright?" Replying back ", Yeah, thank goodness, I almost fell from the cloud". "Yeah, ya almost did", she said grabbing his hoof. "By the way, since nopony's around. What do you want to do?" "Let's just realx on the cloud. That's something I would do, nothing much". "Okay...........".Rainbow then fell asleep on Soarin's chest peacefully. There was peace all around the new couple. No noise or any other pony to interrupt or interfere their privacy. Just a silent starry night for young couple. Never a conflict to face against others or themselves, peace, all that's quiet.As they both slept together in the beautiful night, they both wondered how would life would go on for both of their friends and for each other. The feelings they had for each other, the love they had would never fade. Both slept til the sun has risen, and they still slept in the place just like last night. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Hey Dash wake up", Soarin said nudging his marefriend. "What morning already?" she replied back tiredly. "Yes Dash, you sleepy head. It's morning", the wonderbolt replied back chuckling. "Where do ya wanna eat for breakfast?" "How about Sugarcube Corner". 'Yeah, let's go",Dash cried excitedly taking Soarin by the hoof. As they headed towards Sugarcube corner, on the outside it looked like a gingerbread house, but on the inside it looked like a normal place. Soarin could easily smell the fresh baked goodies coming into the oven and the ones that were already baked ready for this morning's ponies. Smelling something always took the best of Soarin whenever he smelled something so tasty. Ever since he was colt, his mother would always bake him a different pastry at least one per day every breakfast time. After he and Wave Chill woke up, they would run down the stairs excitedly waiting to eat their mom's delicious cooking. "Hello Soarindash", Ms.Cake replied teasing. "Um, ya know nopony has ever called us that before", the couple both said in unison. "Oh gosh, so what can I do for you today?" "Two smoothies and 2 slices of apple pie please", Rainbow said to Ms. Cake. "Okay coming right up", Ms. Cup cake replied back to Dash as she walked back into the kitchen to prepare their. "Dash how did you know that I really liked apple pie", Soarin said with his always goofy smile. "Uh.....it's......um.....IIIIIIIII......know you really well", the mare said back studdering every word she said to her coltfriend. "It's true, you really do know me really well". He smiled back at her. " Hey Soar, how come the team is taking a long week off?" Soarin hesitated a bit before continuing to what he was about to say to Rainbow."It's because of our tours. We never get to stay at one place. And it's tiring, always",Soarin groaned for tiredly. "Your Apple pie is ready",somepony called from the kitchen.The pony that came in with the Apple pie and smoothie had magenta mane and a pink coat. Pinkie, the always playful hyper one always holds things in her mouth while doing her crazy things. She put ther their two slices of Apple pie on the table. As she was about to hop away, Rainbow stopped her", Pinkie wait. Can I talk to you alone for a second". Pinkie stopped just in time to hear what her friend was going to say. Rainbow turned to Soarin", Can you excuse us for a minute?". "Yes of course", the wonderbolt replied back to Rainbow. "Um what did you want to talk about?" Rainbow hesitated for a few seconds", I just wanted you to know that after breakfast, we are going to Canterlot with the other wonderbolts.You know to hang out". "Is that what Twilight planned for us to do?" "Yeah, she did mention that before we went home". "Okay eat up, then we'll go to the train station and meet there", the pink mare said back as she hopped back into the kitchen to make her own meal. The couple ate without making a sound as Pinkie was in the kitchen batch ing up another pastries for the new sunny morning. Rainbow and Soarin shared the smoothie while eating the pie slice, even hearing the loud oven noise saying that the pastries were ready. Since Rainbow's friends were busy packing up for their stay in Canterlot for a few days, just like old times. They had to stay in Canterlot for a few days because Twilight had to have royal meetings with the princesses, even though she was a princess herself. The others had already arrived at the train station waiting for Soarin and Dash to finish their meal. At the train station.................... "Hey girls are Soarin and Rainbow here yet?" Twilight Sparkle asked her friends. "Almost". "Girls were here",Rainbow said. "Glad to see you, hurry it leaves for Canterlot momentarily", Fluttershy said as the others headed on board. Chapter 10 Meanwhile in the Wonderbolt HQ, the others were busy gettin ready for heir stay in Canterlot. They even had to prepare for the race at the Derby. All were s up for the big day before flying all the way from Cloudsdale all the way to Canterlot. Soarin had intentionally made an improvement in his ups, even downs. Spitfire, the stubborn team captain, did a few wing-ups before flying to Canterlot, an! also meeting Princess Twilight Sparkle there too. But it was important for a wonderbolt to always stay in shape before a show or race. They were famous ponies and always kept their cool, which made Rainbow Dash a future wonderbolt herself. "Okay team, better hurry up!!"Spitfire called from the hall. "Spit, can I stop carrying luggage for awhile. I did it last time", Surprise cried groaning. "Okay Wave Chill, your turn", she said turning to her teammate. "B-b-b-b-b-b-b-but-t-t-t-t-t-t-t", Wave Chill said to his captain with a complain. 'No buts, you must do as you're told". "Chill Wave, I got you", Fire said to him with heart. "Thanks Fire, at least somepony here doesn't have the mann-", Wave cried using a sophisticated Manehattan accent. "Wave, I thought I told you not to talk like that",Misty said as she put her hoof over Wave's mouth. "Guys lets go, we don't want to miss the train, don't we", Surprise said taking one of her teammates by the hoof. All of them were in a hurry, all of them just spent there time slacking off, pretending to act lazy and other crazy things they do and try to hide from their friends. Spit could easily tell what they were actually really doing, she always said that they couldn't hide anything from their own team captain, and never easily tricked. So she gave the team a death stare, which urged them to head out the door. "Where are they? Aren't they suppose to be here by now?" Pinkie cried jumping around. The pink mare was extremely jumpy, meaning that she was worried about her friends: even if she was nervous. Pinkie walked in circles, twirled a cup around, and after that she instantly fell asleep after waiting for minutes. Her hooves scratched her own mane while she slept like a little puppy. "Hope they come, I'm getting worried right now", Fluttershy said biting her two hoofs. She always did this when she was worried or scared. "They'd better, I don't like waiting too long", Rainbow groaned impatiently. "Hey girls, look over there, It's Twilight's royal carriage, they're here to drop her off from Ponyville to Canterlot", Applejack starred in wonder. "By, I'll be going now. I'll meet you in Canterlot in 30 minutes", Twi spoke to them while waving bye to them. After the friends waved to her, they took off towards the sky. "I wish I had a carriage to ride on, ya know, the ones pulled by one of the pegasai royal guards of Canterlot", the orange mare said with envy. "Come on, we can't wait for the wonderbolts. Guess they are going to have to find their own way to Canterlot". "I guess we'll have to leave without them". "All aboard!!" the conductor shouted while ringing the train whistle. The girls and Soarin headed into the train as the doors were about to instantly close behind them. But the door almost smashed into Soarin's tail by accident. The young wonderbolt didn't notice while he was walking in such a rush. His friends smiled at him when he finally made it on time because they were worried that he wouldn't make it on to the train. The mane 6 wiped the sweat off their faces saying to Soarin that they were relieved. "Sorry guys if I overslept", he said nervously. "Hey no worries, we thought you wouldn't make it on time", RD said in her cool voice. "Dash, when is Twi suppose to meet us in Canterlot?" AJ asked her pegasus friend. "Didn't she tell you already. half an hour". "Yeah the rest of my teammates we'll be meeting us in the same location". " Ya sure Soarin?" Fluttershy questioned him/ "Yes, I'm certain. When it comes to packing for a tour or vacation, we never pack lightly at all. We just have too many suitcases to carry, it drives my brother crazy". "Oh my, that is sure a lot of work. Wait, are you saying about your brother Wave Chill?" "Yeah, he's my little brother.Plus we're twins". "Next stop,Canterlot", the conductor shouted. The other's ear's almost twitched when the conductor shouted through the halls and cars of the train really loud. They then got off the train rubbing their sore ears with their hoofs groaning and complaining about the pain. The train chugged away afterwards, after they boarded off, trying not to handle the pain themselves. "Hey, is your ear okay",somepony said from the castle doorway. The ponies recognized the voice immediately, it was Twilight Sparkle. Her alicorn wings spread open and she flew down to greet her Ponyville friends. She then touched Soarin' s ear with her hoof gently just to make sure that he was fine. "Yeah, I'm fine. But it still hurts", the wonderbolt cried out in pain. "Soarin your ears are fine", the princess said sincere. Twilight hugged the wonderbolt with comfort as he hugged her back as well. A smile returned to his face and they both let go of the hug and continued walking. "Guess what everyone, you work be staying at the castle". The others were shocked but surprised at the same time when they heard the news. "Alright", they said in unison. Each of them expected to spend a lot of time together in Canterlot. But in a few more days, the wonderbolts had to head back to Cloudsdale. They decided to tell them later on in the day that they would be leaving in a few more days. For the past days, it was incredible to spend time with their number one fan RD and her Pony ville friends. They had to make up every mistake back then at the Grand Galloping Gala hosted in Canterlot once a year. The wonderbolts would clearly adore their fans, even when it comes to taking a picture with them, the main members of the team. Fans screaming, the wonderbolts would sign autographs for their fans as much as they adore them. It was almost time to get back to touring to other places in Equestria. Back to the old times, performances to amaze ponies in the cities in Equestria. Not baring to travel again, they were extremely tired. So when they head back to the headquarters and take a month break. "Shohluld we tell them?" High Winds thought to herself. Maybe we shouldn't tell them just yet. Wind chewed on her hooves as a habit of being nervous. "Guys get into the castle quickly", Spit said. "Oh boy I can't believe we're staying at the castle"Surprise cried jumping excitedly. "Yeah, me too", Spitfire said pretending to look excited. "Hey Spit, why are your ears drooping?" Rainbow said raising an eyebrow. "Uh.....................Should we tell them?..........Maybe we should. Guys can we tell you something, it was nice spending time with you and all. But we'll be leaving after spending two nights in Canterlot. We'll miss you dearly", the wonderbolts said.
Chapter 1It was almost Heart's and Hooves Day, Soarin the Wonderbolt had nothing to do but just sit and mope in bed. If there was just something that he could do without getting interuppted. Since the whole team got to have a long vacation from performing and doing stunts. For Soarin, as a wonderbolt, he would always have to tour from place to place without staying at one place at the same time. "Hey Soarin, can I tell you something", a voice said calling to him from the hallway. "Who is it", the young wonderbolt called from the closed door. "Hey, you already know who I am", the image said as she opened the door to his room. "Oh hey Spit, I didn't even recognize you", said Soarin laughing at his own joke. Soon the others came in all jumping around really excited. " The heart's and hooves day gala is almost here", they all shouted. "Yeah, I'm excited too guys", said Soarin glumily. "Soari, Cadence's gala is tomorrow. The gala is tomorrow and you better find a date", said Spitfire reminding him. So Soarin took his friend's advice and opened the note and read it to himself. The note said: Dear Soarin Skies, I'm happy to tell you that the Heart's and hooves day gala is tomorrow night. Please do wear formal wear and bring a required date with you. Remember the ball always starts at 7. There will be food,games,and just having fun. Hope the royal family will see you there including Princess Twilight Sparkle. Sincerely, Cadence "Hey Soarin, who's going to be your date?" said Surprise and Spitfire and Fleetfoot laughing. "Um, don't know yet", said Soarin making a goofy smile. "Come on go seek her heart somehow", said Misty Fly and Blaze forcing him out of his room and to the door. "Guys, I don't know what you're talking about and stop", said Soarin as the others were forcing him to go to Ponyville which they didn't tell him. As Soarin was about to say one more word, the others pushed with force and out into the afternoon sky. "Hey be free big blue", his friends called out to him.
Chapter 2The real reason Soarin was in Ponyville was he was searching for the mare that he couldn't stop thinking about. So here we go. **************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Soarin was flying high in the sky with peace and quiet. As he was flying he spotted Ponyville. After minutes of flying, Soarin landed in Ponyville. There was one thing Soarin loved about Ponyville, how quiet and peaceful it was. Ponyville was usually a quiet town with ponies enjoying the sun. Every pony in Ponyville didn't notice Soarin with his uniform,but some did. Soarin asked some ponies for directions to where sugarcube corner was. But the all the answers he got was " sign my flank" and "oh my gosh". Soarin just avoided the mares that tried to overcome him and trotted all the way to Sugarcube Corner. Suddenly, a group of crazed fans started running over to him for autographs. So Soarin ran as he could to avoid the crazed fans but eventually got mobbed. The thing was Soarin never liked being attacked by a group of vicious fans even though they were all over him. Meanwhile inside Sugarcube corner, the mane 6 were busy chatting about who would they bring as dates to the Heart's and Hooves Day Gala. " Well for starters guys, I'm bringing Flash Sentry", said Twilight Sparkle. "I'm bringing a stallion named Caramel as my date", explained Applejack. "I'm bringing Thunderlane as my date", explained Fluttershy. "I'm bringing Pokey Pierce as my date", said Pinkie Pie. "Rainbow who are you bringing as your date?" asked Rarity. " I don't know who I'm bringing", sighed Dash. Then suddenly there was a pound at Twilight's library door. When the door opened, a wonderbolt with his uniform on, but with his goggles on came in the door. The stallion was exhausted from taking pictures and writing autographs to his fans. Rainbow recognized him, he was Soarin from the wonderbolts. But what could Soarin be doing in Ponyville? Rainbow wondered what Soarin would be doing in Ponyville. "Hey Soarin, what are you doing in Ponyville?" Rainbow asked him."Just looking for the mare that I really liked since the wedding in canterlot", said Soarin to Rainbow Dash. Then Rainbow said to Soarin to come and meet her friends and so they headed to the room where her five friends were chatting. "You must be Soarin, right?", asked a young looking alicorn. "Yes my name's Soarin', said the wonderbolt. "You must be Soarin, right?I'm Fluttershy", said a yellow coated pegaus with light pink mane. "Hi Soarin, I'm Applejack", said a pony with a cowgirl pony. "Hi Soarin, I'm Pinkie Pie", said a pink pony. "My good sir, I'm Rarity", said a white unicorn. "Nice meeting all of you. And I met your friend Rainbow Dash on seperate occasions", said Soarin joining into their conversation. "Well she seems to be happy to see you too", said PInkie smirking at her rainbow maned friend and the wonderbolt. "Sorry about Pinkie here Soarin, she can be quite the teaser around someone who has a crush on somepony", said Rainbow making a goofy smile which was like Soarin's goofy smile. "Oh no worries Rainbow", said the wonderbolt. So Soarin decided to tell Rainbow Dash something important that he been wanting to tell her. "Rainbow Dash, can I tell you something privately? I wanted to say that I really like you and I was wondering if you would like to be my date to the Heart's and Hooves Day gala? The letter says that must wear fancy as always", Soarin said with reds still on this cheeks. Rainbow nodded her head yes and kissed his cheek one more time. Then suddenly, there was a knock at the door. "Hey can someone open up?" asked a mare's voice."Who is it?" askesd Twilight as she opened the door. "It's me, Soarin's big sister, Spitfire", said the voice. "Oh hey Spitfire", said Soarin waving hello to his best friend and sister. "Hey, aren't you guys the elements of harmony?" asked Spitfire. "Yes we're the elements of harmony. And Spitfire this is Princess Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, PInkie PIe, and Fluttershy", said Rainbow introducing her idol to her friends. "Nice to meet you mane 6", said the yellow mare and the rest of her other teammates. "Tell us about yourselfs. And cousin PInkie", said Surprise running over excitedly to her cousin hugging her tightly. "Nice to see you too Surprise", said Pinkie happily. After the other wonderbolts arrived at Twilight's library, they all sat down at the table where Spike made them cookies to snack on. As they were eating, Soarin told Spitfire that he already asked the mare of his dreams to be his date to the Heart's and Hooves Day Gala in Canterlot. While Fire Streak and the others talked to R.D about life as a wonderbolts. "I'm so excited about the Heart's and Hooves Day gala. I can't even decide what to wear", said Rarity excitedly. "Me too, I can't decide what to wear either", said Twilight. "Hey have all of you found anything to wear for the Heart's and Hooves Day Gala Wednesday night?" asked Applejack. "Since today's Tuesday, the gala is tomorrow. See ya guys tomorrow", said Fleetfoot. Surprise hugged her cousin goodbye and the others said goodbye and flew off to get ready for tomorrow after staying until 5:50p.m. . "Hey guys, I can't wait for tomorrow. It's heart's and hooves day", said Lightning Streak excitedly. "Hey, Lightning chill it", said Fire Streak calming down his way over excited brother. So the others flew into the HQ and went to their rooms before they went to eat dinner in the dining hall. In Soarin's room, he was busy thinking about what would happen at the Heart's and Hooves day gala tomorrow night, even though he had the day off a few days ago. "Hey Soarin, you tired?" asked Spitfire."Maybe a little", said Soarin yawning. "Hey guys, chow time. The others are waiting", said Wave Chill. So Soarin headed to the mess hall with his brother. When they arrived the others were already at the table eating. "Hey,you made it", said Surprise." Yeah I wouldn't miss having the best friends and teammates", said Soarin sitting down and eating his meal. As they were eating, the others were talking and laughing their flanks off about tomorrow night. But Soarin decided he should go to bed a little early even though he arrived at the mess hall at 8:30. "Can't wait for tomorrow", Soarin said to himself as he walked off to his bedroom. "Hey, guys have you seen Soarin?" said Spitfire."Spit,proably he decided to hit the hay early and rest up for tomorrow", said Surprise. "I agree with Surprise here", said Fire Streak and the others cleaning up the dishes and walking back to their rooms to rest up early for tomorrow. And even Spitfire was a little concerned for her brother and friend. "He really did find the perfect mare. Hope everything goes well" Spit thought to herself walking off to her room.
Chapter 3Next day, the team woke up early in the beautiful,bright morning sun. They all groaned tiredly muttering that they didn't want to wake up early, but except for Spitfire captain of the wonderbolts, who was always a morning pony. Soarin was never a morning pony. He would just moan and try to go back to sleep, but Spitfire would just take his covers off of him and blow her whistle loudly making the other's ears burst. Spitfire was always famous for having a really mad temper, like her mother always back then. "Guys!! You better wake up or else I'll blow my whistle like always", Spit replied. "Fine cap, we'll wake up", said the others tiredly. So the others got up and got ready to start their day. The team was getting ready for the Heart's and Hooves Day Gala. On such a grand and fine occasion, they would always be excited. Except for Soarin. He was upset that his life-long crush since foalhood would not have a great time with him at the gala. "Cheer up Soar, your marefriend will like you just the way you are", Surprise replied comforting her friend by putting her hoof on his shoulder. "Thanks Surprise, I really appreciate it", Soarin said cheering up a bit. "No prob, Soarin", the white mare said heading off to the bathroom to get ready for the day. Soarin also headed to the bathroom to get ready. First ,he washed his face with a clean towel.Next, he brushed his teeth. Finally, combed his mane. After he was done tidying himself up, he and the others headed to the mess hall to eat breakfast. In the mess hall, there were so many food choices to choose from. All cooked by the staff of bolts. All the food was so tasty, that their mouths were watering. He noticed that the others got to the mess hall before him, no wonder Soarin was always the last one there. "Guys, Soarin is always last", said Fleetfoot. "Yeah right Fleetfoot, he is always last", said Misty Fly. So the others laughed and ate. After eating, the wonderbolts went out the door and flew to Ponyville to get ready for the heart's and hooves day gala at the Crystal Empire. Then they arrived in Ponyville afterwards. So all of landed in a safe spot and headed to Rarity's boutique for their outfits for the gala. When they arrived at Rarity's boutique, Rarity said", Oh hi wonderbolts, can I help you with anything?" "Rarity, we were hoping that you would make us some outfits for the heart's and hooves day gala?" said Spitfire. "Of course, I'd be happy to Spitfire". Of course, Rarity already made outfits for her friends. But should she make outfits for the wonderbolts? After she thought about making formal attire for the Bolts, she went and got out a few pieces of paper to sktech the outfits she was going to make. Then she grabbed different colors of fabric from her closet, including black for Soarin. Being a fashion designer was hard work. Doing this and that was tiring. But Rarity got use to it. Then Spitfire asked how long it was going to take for the outftis to be done. Rarity said that the clothes were going to take to make after lunchtime. So everything was now under control. As Rarity was making the wonderbolt's outfits, the others just chatted as Rarity worked. "I'm so excited about tonight", said Princess Twilight Sparkle. "Me too Twilight, I'm excited", said Rarity who was kind of upset and half happy. "Rarity are you alright?" asked Fleetfoot in asked in kind and caring tone. 'No, I'm just a little jealous". Rarity was upset because all her friends had dates and she didn't. Well, it was almost time for te gala in the Crystal Empire. Every pony was way too excited to even wear their outfits. Rainbow had a little bit of a transparent dress: light blue. And her mane was up in a bun. Twilight wore her cornation dress like always. Applejack wore a dress with boots, which was country style. Pinkie Pie wore a dress of pink and white with pictures of candy on it. So all of them were ready including, Fluttershy. "Off to the Crystal empire", they all cheered.
Chapter 4On the train to the Crystal empire, the mane 6 and the wonderbolts sat on the train talking about what they were going to do at Cadence's Heart's and Hooves Day gala, all except Rarity. The white mare was so jealous, that she couldn't even tell her friends about it. Rarity had tried finding a stallion to go out with in Ponyville, but the stallions she tried asking her to go out with her ended up just saying no and poor Rarity felt rejected. All her friends had somepony special and she didn't. "I can't wait. The other colts I use to go out with were not really my type", said Spitfire to Pinkie. "Huh, Spitty, why?" asked Pinkie. "Nothing". All the stallion's and their dates were too excited, they just stopped talking. All the others just stared at the window. Rarity finally knew who she would go out with: Fancy Pants. Yes, that stallion that she met in Canterlot. Any mare would fall for him completely fast. "So are you sure your're going to meet Flash at the Crystal Empire?" said Rainbow Dash puzzled. "Yes Rainbow, I'm sure", said Twilight. Soon the train arrived at the Crystal Empire, the girls got off and stretched their hoofs. The stallions and the mares didn't even wear their outfits yet. So they decided to change before the gala even started. They said their goodbyes to each other and headed to the castle to get dressed. In the bedrooms, the stallions were busy getting dressed. " Hey Soarin, how long have you been crushing on Rainbow Dash?" asked Silver Lining. "Two years, why do you ask Silver Lining?" Soarin said. "Nothing". All of the others were done getting dressed and were ready to go inside the castle to have a fun time at the gala. The stallions were waiting for their dates, and a few minutes they came out looking stunning. The stallion said they looked really nice, of course the 5 mares blushed. So they headed inside to have the best time of their lives from what they have experienced before. They opened the door and everything in the castle was all set up for the gala. The sight was amazing, the others justed awed and stared at the whole castle scenery.
Chapter 5The ponies admired the whole scenery, they looked in awe as they walked inside the castle. The whole scenery was so unique. Everything was lined up in its place, no wonder from the top and bottom had crystal written all over it. The mane 6 and their special someponies didn't really have enough time to keep exploring the castle. The gala would begin any minute now!! "We gotta go, the gala will start any minute now", cried Twilight Sparkle. "Guys, Twilight's right. We must go in now", Rainbow said. "Okay, we'll go in now", said Spitfire nodding her head. Soon, they headed to the ballroom to have the best night ever. Of course, all of them were going to have a great time, unlike the Grand Galloping Gala, which was really boring. Then came the fun part, Rainbow and her friends had made the boring event into something exciting, Soarin remembered the memory back in his thoughts. As they entered the ballroom,all of them were so excited about the start of the whole thing was the most magical night they were going to experience. After walking from the entrance, then into the hall, finally into the ballroom. Soarin was so exhausted, including the others too. Then they went their separate ways and headed to other parts of the gala. "Rainbow ,the others left to other parts of the gala", Soarin said to his new marefriend. "Coming Soarin", said Dash. "Guess it's just you and me". So they headed off to the other parts of the castle, which was somewhere private to talk and just hang out. "Hey Lightning Streak, how are you?" said Spitfire kissing her coltfriend on the cheek. Lightning gave the response as a blush. "I'm fine, so where do you want to chat?" "Oh, how about the balcony". Back to Soarin and Dash>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> "It's a really beautiful night". "Yes it is". *Soarin then blushes*"Rainbow this is something I should have told you before at the gala and the canterlot wedding. I've had a crush on you since the day I first met you. And I also kept followig you at wonderbolt academy. I couldn't take my eyes off of you. I don't just like you Rainbow Dash, I.....I love you. All the times you made me happy, is the best ones i have had in such a long time". " Soarin, I don't know what to say. I love you too". * then kisses him on the muzzle* Soarin was shocked by Rainbow's gesture at first, but found out he really like this and closed his eyes and kisses her back. The others just stared in awe. Soarin actually never dated before, but it was his first time doing it himself. Love was the fans that had crushes on him. But he was never interested in them because they only cared that he was a wonderbolt. But Rainbow saw him on the inside as a real pony. That was one thing he loved about Rainbow. After they kissed, they pulled away. Soarin thought it was fantastic, having his first kiss with his new marefriend. The thing was, Soarin never kissed a mare before. Sure all of them were all over him, as Spitfire would say to him. As he was spending time with his marefriend, the clock soon striked midnight. "Gotta go, hope we can meet again fairly soon". *waving goodbye* "Yes I hope to see you again soon". *kisses him goodbye* Soon the others left towards home. Rainbow thought that was the best night she ever experienced since it was heart's and hooves day. She hoped it would be a better day tomorrow, she wondered as she flew home into the night sky, while her 4 friends took the train home and Twilight flew back to the royal castle.
Chapter 6 After a long night's rest, poor Soarin and Dashie. Staying at the crystal castle until midnight was exhausting. Now that it was morning, what a day for the girls to wake up and start their day. Applejack had to harvest apples, Fluttershy had to take care of her animal friends, Twilight as always: royal duties, Rarity had to make outfits for the ponies of Canterlot, and Rainbow just slept in lazily as always. After that exhausting night, chatting and having a good time was too much work for the wonderbolts. It reminded them of the grand galloping gala in Canterlot. That occasion was a drab!! Just talking to stuck up ponies; like the canterlot ponies. They hated it. But now, since they got the vacation they always wanted, helped put all the anxiety away. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "What morning already", groaned Soarin looking at Celestia's golden sun. Soarin,as always, never liked waking up early in the morning. He was not a morning pony. Always complaining he never wants to wake up. But he is always forced to, usually for practices for shows/just work outs. That was one thing he did not like. He then went to the bathroom to get ready to start the day. "Soarin, you better be here before 8!!" shouted Spitfire through the speakers. "Yeah, I'm awake", he shouted back to the speaker. Soarin didn't like it when Spitfire would shout at him like that. If he ever heard Spitfire shout him like that again, he would just stay in bed the whole day. Soarin just covered his face on his pillow groaning and complaining to himself once more. "Hey sleepyhead , you awake", Surprise said jumping over to her stallion friend. "What is it Surprise?" "Just stopping by to say good morning, Soar. You better show up at the mess hall, all of us will be waitng for you there". Then Surprise walks off to the mess hall. Soon, Soarin stopped groaning. He then headed to the bathroom to get ready to start his first week of a vacation. Doing all the shows was exhausting, even traveling place to place. He remembered, always, he was the last one to go to the mess hall. It happened all the time. He would just wake up late for no reason, why, because he never sleeps well. That's what makes Soarin lazy. He then noticed that his mane was messy again. " Oh come on, why is mane always sticking up like a porcupine's quill", he said harshly. "Hahahaha!!! porcupine boy", Lightning Streak laughed from the doorway. "Lightning it's not funny. Just because my mane sticks up and is always messy, doesn't mean that it's laughing time". "Soarin, I was laughing at you because your mane is always funny when it sticks up". "Yeah porcupine boy, see you in the mess hall", he said waving hoof and still giggling like a 2 year old foal. After handling a hilarious situatiion, he headed to the mess hall for a morning breakfast. He thought about having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for breakfast. Also, he even thought about spending time with his marefriend, Rainbow Dash today. Then he headed towards the opened doors of the mess hall. "Wonder what's on the menu today". "There you are Soarin, you're the one who's always last to the mess hall, dope", Spit said in high authority voice. "At least someone here is so high rank". "Enough you two, just let my brother get some breakfast, okay", said Wave Chill. "Fine Wavy, you win". "Quit calling me Wavy. No pony should call me by my pet name, am I clear". Soarin just ignored Spitfire and his brother Wave Chill. His brother always liked to bicker with Spitfire every morning. He always thought that those 2 would just act like foals instead, aside from being growned up. Soarin then came to the table and sat down. "You two act like foals rather then adults". He ate his food while Soarin and Spitfire and Wave Chill continued bickering. "Better get going then". He gave the dishes to the caters and headed out the door to Ponyville.
Chapter 7- In PonyvilleChapter 7- In Ponyville After leaving the headquarters, Soarin was in a good mood because he never liked being bugged all the time. With the wind in his mane and tail, even the peace and quiet. He adored it so much, but he didn't notice that he was arriving in Ponyville. He shook himself out of his thoughts, and flew down to the small, quiet town. The pegasus loved it up in Cloudsdale, but he'd rather live in Ponyville because it was always a small and quiet town. "Wow I sure love Ponyville, it's such a peaceful town", Soarin said to himself. "Look up above, it's Soarin the wonderbolt", shouted a pegasus mare from a further distance away. "Oh no not this again". He then flew back into the sky again trying to avoid the screaming fanmares. Soarin remembered one time facing screaming fans. He couldn't handle it one bit of that racket. Fans always calling out his name. Then he remembered one of the fans asked him out on a date, he didn't accept it because they only wanted him for what he was, not who he was. Even when he's in uniform, they still recognize him, but for some fans they don't. "Hurry up he's getting away", said the same pegasus mare from before. Then suddenly they tackled him for autographs and pictures always. "We love you Soarin!!" Then he ran as fast he could to Golden Oaks library where Princess Twilight Sparkle lived. He knocked on the door, and suddenly the young allicorn opened the door up quickly beckoning a hoof for him to go inside. When Soarin got inside, the allicorn closed the door. "Whoah there, my friend! Are you alright?' Twilight asked her wonderbolt friend. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's just that where's your friend Rainbow Dash?" "She's with the others chatting and having tea", the allicorn said pointing to a room to where they were. Soarin and Twilight then walked to the other room where the rest of Twilight's friends were sitting and chatting. "It's like their having a good time", Soarin thought to himself. The rest of the mane 6 looked like they were still talking talking to each other, but they were actually talking about the yesterday's hearts and hooves day gala. "I had such a great time last night. It was a dream come true", cried Rarity dreamily. "Me too, last night was awesome",said Rainbow Dash. "Applejack ,what did you and Caramel at the gala last night", said Twilight. "We had our first kiss, and he even asked me out on a date", Applejack said blushing red. Soarin overheard the mane 6 talking about last night's Heart's and Hooves Day gala. He really did have a great time last night. Dancing, chatting, and having a great time was one thing the wonderbolt expected. He never liked chatting with fans from Canterlot. All they talked about was all wonderbolt stuff. Never really caring who they really were on the inside, and only caring about the uniform they wear. Then there was another knock at the door. He opened it, and right in front of him were his teammates. Soarin was surprised to see them. Why were they here in Ponyville anyway? Probably just to see him too. His teammates even liked Ponyville too. How peaceful it always was, while Cloudsdale was okay, but too noisy because of the construction on the clouds. "Guys what are you doing in Ponyville?" Soarin asked his longtime friends. "Same thing as you are", Surprise said. "Seeing what Ponyville is really like. "Twilight sent us a letter to have lunch with her in Canterlot. Even her friends are coming", Spitfire replied. "It is almost lunch time. Twilight told me to wait in the hall before we go to Canterlot". Back in the book room~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Rainbow guess what, I invited the wonderbolts to have lunch with us in Canterlot", Twilight told her rainbow-maned friend. "Oh my gosh, thanks Twilight", Rainbow said hugging her alicorn friend. "Girls we have to get moving". "Okay Twily", her other 4 friends said. They packed up their things in their saddle bags and headed out of the book room. Twilight beckoned a hoof at the wonderbolts to head to the train station, while Twilight took her royal carriage back to Canterlot. After arriving at the train station the 5 of the mane 6, including the wonderbolts jumped on the train. They headed off, and all of them waving to Twilight who was flying in her royal carriage back to Canterlot.
Chapter 8 After the carriage ride and the train ride, all of their hooves were aching from sitting down on the seats. "My hooves are aching", Soarin groaned. That train ride was so long that, most of them just continued complainig like little flies and colts all over again. They swore if they sat in another train again, they would be on fire. Since all of them already manage to get off, now it was time to have a time in Canterlot. "Hey guys, so glad you could make it", Twilight said flying down towards them. "Nice to see you too, Twilight", every pony said. All of them were glad to be together again, since they were all hungry. Suddenly, their tummies rumble at the same time. They all laughed at what they heard. "Guys, would to prefer to eat at the castle with me and the princesses or at a restaurant in town?". "The castle would be a better place to eat, Twilight. It would be better if those canterlot ponies wouldn't bug us so much", agreed Spitfire with a nod. The bolts loved their fans, but the always got too crazy around them. Saying hey only want pics and autographs. Then they followed Twilight to the castle to where she now lived. At the castle~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Welcome Twilight, so glad you could make it here for lunch. We have been expecting to come. And I see you also brought the wonder bolts along", Celestia said greeting them. "Right this way", said a guard beckoning a hoof to follow him to the dining hall. "Twilight, this is the first time I am eating lunch with royalty", said Soarin. "I know, you never done this before?" "Well no", the wonderbolt said nervously. Twilight laughed at how Soarin was acting. Since he was not being mobbed by crazy fans, he had all the free time he liked. Still they continued following Twilight and the guard to the dining hall. They all looked at how beautiful the castle's architect was. With their eyes still looking up. When the wonderbolts weren't looking, they bumped into each other's flanks by accident. Twilight's friends just laughed at how silly they were. "We are here. Everypony take a seat, your food will be ready any minute", replied Princess Celestia. "Lunch is served", said a servant pony. "I'm so hungry, my royal lips almost made me water", Twilight said with a laugh. "Soarin I have a question for you, ever since the canterlot wedding and grand galloping gala, which was years ago, how long have you known my friend Rainbow here?" "Uh you see, Dash is not just the perfect mare for me, but she's different from other mares I have been with. And I have known her for about 2 years now". "Oh really, that's good". The ponies enjoyed eating lunch with royalty, since it was their first time. Royals don't usually invite outsiders to eat with them. Ever since Twilight became a princess, she was still learning how to perform royal duties. Since it was a tad bit complicated. But she wasn't old enough yet to rule a kingdom I her just yet. Performing duties and air shows was indeed a "royal pain". "Since we had to take a break from doing air shows, how about we do a little strolling in Canterlot?" questioned Soarin. "Yeah, great idea", everypony said in unison. So all of them went from the dining hall and headed to the exit, which was the entrance. However, things for Soarin was always a pain in the flank. Relationship problems, even crazed fanmares. Sure, he did love his fans, but they were all over him. He shook himself out of his thoughts and headed towards the exit with the others. When they got there, everypony was relieved to be outside in the cool,summer air. For Soarin and Dash, feeling the wind in your mane was indeed awesome or maybe amazing. "Finally fresh air", Twilight said flying up to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. Since all of them were exhausted weeks before. Breaks and day offs were the only things a wonderbolt needed. All was well, but they always had trainings every weekends. Except for some weekdays. It was always wake up early, and other boring stuff. The others were just groaning in dismay because of the exhausting day they had the few days before. Always training exercises and warm ups. No matter how much complaining and laziness they show; as always, it is more wing-ups. Enough about that, back to the middle. "Just love the outdoors, it's spectacular and peaceful", Spitfire said smelling the air. While Everypony was enjoying the fresh air, they looked all around them seeing Canterlot usually full with snobby upper-class ponies. Still, they didn't mind them: even if they catch the attention of them or not. But since all of Canterlot was usually peaceful sometimes, but not usually. The city was a little too sophisticated. Ponies putting on too much perfume, for the mares, always. The mares of Canterlot would always wear it, what would they do? Bath in it, gross. "I told you Canterlot ponies put on this type of stuff. Like too much of it", Soarin complained. And they all laughed. The friends were having a great time playing, even hanging out together. All of them were playing like old time pals, like they all knew each other when they were foals. SInce all of them were acting like old freinds, that's what cause them to act like that. Acting like old friends was the bond of delight, but one thing that was important was that they always sticked together. They chatted til they could chat no more and rested under the warm afternoon sun. They pranced like little foals on a hot summer day, after all, it was summer. Summer was the perfect time to relax from traveling all over equestria to do air shows, which was for the wonderbolts, of course. Traveling always drove them crazy: as Spitfire would say bothered their nerves. If one of the members complained and groaned, one would have to carry all the luggage and do 100 wing-ups. That's Spitfire for ya. :rainbowdetermined2: She can be a real hot head when it comes to being the team captain. "Hey team, we might have to get back to Cloudsdale soon", Spit said sadly. "Okay, hope we could see you all again", the mane 6 said waving goodbye. "Whew, now that was a long day", Twilight said. "Yeah right, let's go home", all of them said and laughed as they headed for towards the train station. A great day and a new start has finally begun for the six friends.
Chapter 9 A splendid night in Ponyville, ponies about to be tucked in into their comfy beds to get ready for a new day tomorrow. Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Rarity were all preparing to go into their nice cozy beds. Aft we such a long day of Hang out with Equestria's main Pegasus, time to rest after a long day of play. One fled, would just go for a midnight fly to keep problems off his mind. "Wish someone were here with me", Soarin grumbled to himself. He flew into the night, lonely as a lone wolf on a blue moon. The moon glowed in the sky like a minature figure flying,what, was it just an imagination? No it wasn't!Soarin saw a sky blue figure in the dark, he recognized the mare imediately, it was Rainbow Dash. "But what could she be doing her?" Soarin wondered puzzled. He flew behind a cloud to see what Rainbow Dash was doing. "Hey Soarin, what are you doing on a night like this?" Rainbow asked curiously raising an eyebrow. "Oh, not much. Just going for a little fly to get my mind off problems and other stuff". The new couple flied together into the night, staring at the twinkling night sky.Both of them wondered if the night sky would have a splendid twinkling view every night. When meeting each other at the Grand Galloping gala was not particularly love at first sight, first glance at each other's eyes. After being pulled away by ponies that were fans, he never had a chance to hang out with Rainbow, getting to know her a little more after meeting her at the best young fliers competition. She showed great bravery and heroism to the wonder bolts because she had to abandon her routine to save them, the time came and she did a sonic rainboom. Rainbow abandened her routine to rescue Soarin and his teammates because she realized safety for others is more important then the competition. "Hey, why don't we rest on that cloud up there. It is getting kinda cold out here in this beautiful night", he said as he started flying. "Okay, let's go", Dash replied back flying with him. "Are you sure?" "Yes, I am." "Bet ya can't catch me", she said sticking her tongue out, "You bet I can". When he was flying, he bumped into a cloud and fell flat on his muzzle with no scars or scrapes. Rainbow rushed to see how he was.Asking concerned ", You alright?" Replying back ", Yeah, thank goodness, I almost fell from the cloud". "Yeah, ya almost did", she said grabbing his hoof. "By the way, since nopony's around. What do you want to do?" "Let's just realx on the cloud. That's something I would do, nothing much". "Okay...........".Rainbow then fell asleep on Soarin's chest peacefully. There was peace all around the new couple. No noise or any other pony to interrupt or interfere their privacy. Just a silent starry night for young couple. Never a conflict to face against others or themselves, peace, all that's quiet.As they both slept together in the beautiful night, they both wondered how would life would go on for both of their friends and for each other. The feelings they had for each other, the love they had would never fade. Both slept til the sun has risen, and they still slept in the place just like last night. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Hey Dash wake up", Soarin said nudging his marefriend. "What morning already?" she replied back tiredly. "Yes Dash, you sleepy head. It's morning", the wonderbolt replied back chuckling. "Where do ya wanna eat for breakfast?" "How about Sugarcube Corner". 'Yeah, let's go",Dash cried excitedly taking Soarin by the hoof. As they headed towards Sugarcube corner, on the outside it looked like a gingerbread house, but on the inside it looked like a normal place. Soarin could easily smell the fresh baked goodies coming into the oven and the ones that were already baked ready for this morning's ponies. Smelling something always took the best of Soarin whenever he smelled something so tasty. Ever since he was colt, his mother would always bake him a different pastry at least one per day every breakfast time. After he and Wave Chill woke up, they would run down the stairs excitedly waiting to eat their mom's delicious cooking. "Hello Soarindash", Ms.Cake replied teasing. "Um, ya know nopony has ever called us that before", the couple both said in unison. "Oh gosh, so what can I do for you today?" "Two smoothies and 2 slices of apple pie please", Rainbow said to Ms. Cake. "Okay coming right up", Ms. Cup cake replied back to Dash as she walked back into the kitchen to prepare their. "Dash how did you know that I really liked apple pie", Soarin said with his always goofy smile. "Uh.....it's......um.....IIIIIIIII......know you really well", the mare said back studdering every word she said to her coltfriend. "It's true, you really do know me really well". He smiled back at her. " Hey Soar, how come the team is taking a long week off?" Soarin hesitated a bit before continuing to what he was about to say to Rainbow."It's because of our tours. We never get to stay at one place. And it's tiring, always",Soarin groaned for tiredly. "Your Apple pie is ready",somepony called from the kitchen.The pony that came in with the Apple pie and smoothie had magenta mane and a pink coat. Pinkie, the always playful hyper one always holds things in her mouth while doing her crazy things. She put ther their two slices of Apple pie on the table. As she was about to hop away, Rainbow stopped her", Pinkie wait. Can I talk to you alone for a second". Pinkie stopped just in time to hear what her friend was going to say. Rainbow turned to Soarin", Can you excuse us for a minute?". "Yes of course", the wonderbolt replied back to Rainbow. "Um what did you want to talk about?" Rainbow hesitated for a few seconds", I just wanted you to know that after breakfast, we are going to Canterlot with the other wonderbolts.You know to hang out". "Is that what Twilight planned for us to do?" "Yeah, she did mention that before we went home". "Okay eat up, then we'll go to the train station and meet there", the pink mare said back as she hopped back into the kitchen to make her own meal. The couple ate without making a sound as Pinkie was in the kitchen batch ing up another pastries for the new sunny morning. Rainbow and Soarin shared the smoothie while eating the pie slice, even hearing the loud oven noise saying that the pastries were ready. Since Rainbow's friends were busy packing up for their stay in Canterlot for a few days, just like old times. They had to stay in Canterlot for a few days because Twilight had to have royal meetings with the princesses, even though she was a princess herself. The others had already arrived at the train station waiting for Soarin and Dash to finish their meal. At the train station.................... "Hey girls are Soarin and Rainbow here yet?" Twilight Sparkle asked her friends. "Almost". "Girls were here",Rainbow said. "Glad to see you, hurry it leaves for Canterlot momentarily", Fluttershy said as the others headed on board.
Chapter 10 Meanwhile in the Wonderbolt HQ, the others were busy gettin ready for heir stay in Canterlot. They even had to prepare for the race at the Derby. All were s up for the big day before flying all the way from Cloudsdale all the way to Canterlot. Soarin had intentionally made an improvement in his ups, even downs. Spitfire, the stubborn team captain, did a few wing-ups before flying to Canterlot, an! also meeting Princess Twilight Sparkle there too. But it was important for a wonderbolt to always stay in shape before a show or race. They were famous ponies and always kept their cool, which made Rainbow Dash a future wonderbolt herself. "Okay team, better hurry up!!"Spitfire called from the hall. "Spit, can I stop carrying luggage for awhile. I did it last time", Surprise cried groaning. "Okay Wave Chill, your turn", she said turning to her teammate. "B-b-b-b-b-b-b-but-t-t-t-t-t-t-t", Wave Chill said to his captain with a complain. 'No buts, you must do as you're told". "Chill Wave, I got you", Fire said to him with heart. "Thanks Fire, at least somepony here doesn't have the mann-", Wave cried using a sophisticated Manehattan accent. "Wave, I thought I told you not to talk like that",Misty said as she put her hoof over Wave's mouth. "Guys lets go, we don't want to miss the train, don't we", Surprise said taking one of her teammates by the hoof. All of them were in a hurry, all of them just spent there time slacking off, pretending to act lazy and other crazy things they do and try to hide from their friends. Spit could easily tell what they were actually really doing, she always said that they couldn't hide anything from their own team captain, and never easily tricked. So she gave the team a death stare, which urged them to head out the door. "Where are they? Aren't they suppose to be here by now?" Pinkie cried jumping around. The pink mare was extremely jumpy, meaning that she was worried about her friends: even if she was nervous. Pinkie walked in circles, twirled a cup around, and after that she instantly fell asleep after waiting for minutes. Her hooves scratched her own mane while she slept like a little puppy. "Hope they come, I'm getting worried right now", Fluttershy said biting her two hoofs. She always did this when she was worried or scared. "They'd better, I don't like waiting too long", Rainbow groaned impatiently. "Hey girls, look over there, It's Twilight's royal carriage, they're here to drop her off from Ponyville to Canterlot", Applejack starred in wonder. "By, I'll be going now. I'll meet you in Canterlot in 30 minutes", Twi spoke to them while waving bye to them. After the friends waved to her, they took off towards the sky. "I wish I had a carriage to ride on, ya know, the ones pulled by one of the pegasai royal guards of Canterlot", the orange mare said with envy. "Come on, we can't wait for the wonderbolts. Guess they are going to have to find their own way to Canterlot". "I guess we'll have to leave without them". "All aboard!!" the conductor shouted while ringing the train whistle. The girls and Soarin headed into the train as the doors were about to instantly close behind them. But the door almost smashed into Soarin's tail by accident. The young wonderbolt didn't notice while he was walking in such a rush. His friends smiled at him when he finally made it on time because they were worried that he wouldn't make it on to the train. The mane 6 wiped the sweat off their faces saying to Soarin that they were relieved. "Sorry guys if I overslept", he said nervously. "Hey no worries, we thought you wouldn't make it on time", RD said in her cool voice. "Dash, when is Twi suppose to meet us in Canterlot?" AJ asked her pegasus friend. "Didn't she tell you already. half an hour". "Yeah the rest of my teammates we'll be meeting us in the same location". " Ya sure Soarin?" Fluttershy questioned him/ "Yes, I'm certain. When it comes to packing for a tour or vacation, we never pack lightly at all. We just have too many suitcases to carry, it drives my brother crazy". "Oh my, that is sure a lot of work. Wait, are you saying about your brother Wave Chill?" "Yeah, he's my little brother.Plus we're twins". "Next stop,Canterlot", the conductor shouted. The other's ear's almost twitched when the conductor shouted through the halls and cars of the train really loud. They then got off the train rubbing their sore ears with their hoofs groaning and complaining about the pain. The train chugged away afterwards, after they boarded off, trying not to handle the pain themselves. "Hey, is your ear okay",somepony said from the castle doorway. The ponies recognized the voice immediately, it was Twilight Sparkle. Her alicorn wings spread open and she flew down to greet her Ponyville friends. She then touched Soarin' s ear with her hoof gently just to make sure that he was fine. "Yeah, I'm fine. But it still hurts", the wonderbolt cried out in pain. "Soarin your ears are fine", the princess said sincere. Twilight hugged the wonderbolt with comfort as he hugged her back as well. A smile returned to his face and they both let go of the hug and continued walking. "Guess what everyone, you work be staying at the castle". The others were shocked but surprised at the same time when they heard the news. "Alright", they said in unison. Each of them expected to spend a lot of time together in Canterlot. But in a few more days, the wonderbolts had to head back to Cloudsdale. They decided to tell them later on in the day that they would be leaving in a few more days. For the past days, it was incredible to spend time with their number one fan RD and her Pony ville friends. They had to make up every mistake back then at the Grand Galloping Gala hosted in Canterlot once a year. The wonderbolts would clearly adore their fans, even when it comes to taking a picture with them, the main members of the team. Fans screaming, the wonderbolts would sign autographs for their fans as much as they adore them. It was almost time to get back to touring to other places in Equestria. Back to the old times, performances to amaze ponies in the cities in Equestria. Not baring to travel again, they were extremely tired. So when they head back to the headquarters and take a month break. "Shohluld we tell them?" High Winds thought to herself. Maybe we shouldn't tell them just yet. Wind chewed on her hooves as a habit of being nervous. "Guys get into the castle quickly", Spit said. "Oh boy I can't believe we're staying at the castle"Surprise cried jumping excitedly. "Yeah, me too", Spitfire said pretending to look excited. "Hey Spit, why are your ears drooping?" Rainbow said raising an eyebrow. "Uh.....................Should we tell them?..........Maybe we should. Guys can we tell you something, it was nice spending time with you and all. But we'll be leaving after spending two nights in Canterlot. We'll miss you dearly", the wonderbolts said.
