Mommy? Daddy? Who are you guys?
The yelling in my dream woke me up. I opened my eyes and couldn't see anything. That's right, there's a bag on my head. My head hurts. It hurts a lot. Did somepony hit me?
From underneath the bag, I could hear some ponies arguing,
"Come on man, what are we doing?"
"Don't tell me you're backing out?"
"N-no! It's just that we didn't have to take this girl with us."
"It's too late to turn back now."
"I guess, but still."
Oh yea, that's right, now I remember. I was reading a story in the living room about a princess who was taken away by a dragon but was rescued by a prince. Daddy was sitting at the table reading the Foal Free Press, and mommy was making dinner.
Then there was a knock on the door and daddy went to answer it. When he opened the door, there were two stallions and daddy fell over. Mommy screamed. I remember hearing lots of screaming.
The screaming stopped and mommy fell over too. One of the bad guys came over to me and hit me. Now, I'm somewhere I don't know. It's very dark and hot under the bag on my head.
"Look bro, we should just let the girl go."
"What?! Are you nuts? Do you want to get sent to prison? If we were to let her go, she'd put us in danger!"
"But she's just a little girl. I doubt she even knows where she is anyway."
Daddy always said I was strong. He always said to me that one day I'd earn my cutie mark and find my prince. When some Diamond Tiara pushed me over on the playground, I got up and said some nasty things, Mrs. Cheerilee scolded me, but didn't punish me. She said it was good that I stood up for myself.
The bad guys tied up my legs and gagged me with a cloth. I can't move, speak, or see. My body hurts. I just want to go home. I want to go back to Ponyville. I want my mommy and daddy!
I was about to start crying when I remembered that I have to be strong. My prince will come for me, I'm sure of it. He'll come and beat up the bad guys and save me because that’s what princes do.
"FUCK YOU MAN! I didn't sign up for kidnapping a child!"
I could hear more shouting and it sounds like they were wrestling. Why are they arguing? Even bad guys had friends, are they not friends?
"You son of a-"
"Oof!"
"Piece of shit!"
"Uagh!"
"Don't ever cross me again! I'll kill you next time."
They sound pretty mad at each other. They're really scary. I hope my prince will come soon. The prince always knows where the princess has been taken to. He'll come for me. He'll take me back home to mommy and daddy.
"Well, I guess it's about time we take this off, shall we?"
The bag on my head scratched my face as it was pulled off. It was still dark. There was only a little bit of light shining through a hole in the ceiling.
In the darkness I could see a pony lying on the floor in the corner and another in front of me. He's the one that took off the bag. He was big and looked like one of the giants that are in my books.
The bad guy took the cloth out of my mouth, "Hey little one. Do you know who I am?"
"You're the bad guy." He was so scary. I wanted to cry but I knew that I couldn't I had to wait for my prince.
"Am I now? Hahaha! I guess it looks that way, doesn't it? Well, don't you worry little girl, you don't have to worry about anything."
"My prince will come and he'll beat you guys up! You'll be sorry!"
"Shut up kid. Don't make me laugh."
His words were scary. I tried to stay strong, but he was too scary. My prince will protect me.
"Nopony is coming for you. If you want to go see your mom and dad, I'll be sure to bring you to them."
"R-really?" Maybe this guy is my prince? He beat up a bad guy and now he's going to take me to mommy and daddy? He's doing things that bad guys don't do. He has to be a good guy.
"Of course. I know where they are right now. Tell ya what," The stallion lowered himself down, "I'll give you to your parents right now, if you tell me where mommy and daddy hid the money that they owed. If you don't, I'll give you to them anyway."
"M-money? Daddy said he had money stashed away in the birdhouse on the front lawn, but I'm too small to get it. He said that I had to keep it a secret or else daddy would be in big trouble."
The stallion patted my head softly, "Good girl. Now to reunite you with your parents." The stallion lifted up his forelegs and brought them down quickly. I felt a lot of pain for about half a second and then nothing.
My prince never came for me.
