Black Sails at Midnight
The dawn of Pirates came and went from Equestria, and what followed was almost two thousand years of peace, save for the incidents with Nightmare Moon. Now, however, a new age has begun, headed by the same being who led the Pirates before.
On the one thousand, six hundredth anniversary of the Great Pirate Lord's death, Celestia has a premonition, a premonition of the coming of the Pirate Era. The only problem is, the Pirate Era started and ended with the rise and fall of the Great Pirate Lord. What this could mean, she doesn't know, and no one else can offer a better answer.
In slightly related matters, a man by the name of Michael Phisher, a collage student living in Cincinnati, Ohio, is contacted by the being known as Death. Death makes him an offer, one that he literally can't refuse. All to be said is:
"Oh boy, here we go again…."
Author's Note: A complete redo of my old story Dead Men Tell No Tales. Pretty much completely different except for three of the main characters, and the obvious Equestria setting.
Rated M for violence and a ship-load of swearing.
