Mr. and Ms. we're nowhere to be seen, they took the week off to Manehatten as offical business. Pinkie Pie had just woke up from a par usual sugar-rush crash. She passed out behind the cashier counter of the SugarCube.
"Wowey-zowey! Ow. My head hurts..."
Pinkie laid groggy unsure why she'd passed out behind counter.
"Grrrr... It will take Celestica knows how long to get all this candy out of my mane."
Her once pink cotton fluff mane, was now limp with chunks and bits of sweets or other celebratory snacks. She got to her hooves steadily and stood, with one front hoof rubbing her temple. Pinkie shook her head in attempt of clearing the throbbing migraine.
"Ugh... Ouchy! I wonder if Dash remember what happened at that party last night.
All I can remember is that there was soda-pop and candy cake and rainbow brownies and muffins with Apple Jack's famous candy Carmel apples oh oh and cheesy cheese-eriffic chips and lemon..."
Pinkie went silent, staring at a somewhat embarrassed rainbow pony standing in in the shop's doorway.
"Ummmm... Pinks?"
Rainbow Dash spoke a in grungy rasp tone that seemed nearly asleep.
"Did I make a public scene again? I bet I did didn't I Dashie? I normally do... Oh wait! There was that one time at Twilight's grad party last month."
Dashie dug at the wood floor with one hoof nervously.
"Nope. It's nothing like that I just... Wanted to know if you were okay after all that happened."
Pinkie gave a blank stare.
"Yup yup, I'm all okay! As long as my friends are okay-doky I'm all right!'
The truth was hard for the rainbow pony to tell Pinkie.
When Rainbow Dash got home she grabbed a big hoof-full of clouds she snuggled into the fluffy whites.
"She doesn't remember ANYTHING!!! How could she?"
Rainbow Dash began crying, her tears cut holes into the soft clouds.
"I don't love Pinkie but... I don't know. Maybe I do? Well maybe after what happened I do...?"
The truth was difficult to say or handle.
