A Virtue Unabridged
A pony is running from something in a nigthly forest with his hind legs chained together. The fear of being caught is slowly eating away his sanity, the shackles chafe his ankles raw and even the forest itself seems to be turning against him. And yet, all these misfortunes pale in comparison of his deepest fear that is about to step from his subconsciousness into the reality - it is a figure of a pony, wielding a device that signifies unspeakable horrors.
One could view this one as a kind of a prologue to a longer story that I'm working on, although this really doesn't give much hint of what is to come. Still, I think this story stands pretty well on its own legs, even if some plot holes remains unsolved in the end. Don't worry, though, for it will all become much clearer once I publish my great story-to-be, the "Device for Divine". It's about 100 pages already (45,000 words).
Oh, and if anypony want's to help me and suggest some art as a cover for this story (or the one to come), I'd be grateful.
