Canterlot is in turmoil. Ponies are split between supporters of the new Princess Twilight Sparkle, or her enemies. Now constantly surrounded by three of her brother's best guards due to other Solar and Lunar guards who had gotten close to Twilight being picked off by assassins. Twilight begins to doubt how long she has left until an attempt on her life is foiled by a strange intelligent creature that was discovered after a comet struck the castle. What is this creature, where did it come from, and is this some plot by her enemies to end her life?
