The Start Of Something Beautiful
"Princess you wanted to see me?" Twilight asked.
"Yes my faithful student," Celestia responded "I'm postponing your studies on friendship."
"What? Why? Have I not been doing good with my recent reports princess?" Twilight asked with a worried look on her face.
"No Twilight, you've been doing fine on your reports," Celestia replied, causing Twilight to calm down,"However, I want you to study love instesd of friendship for the time being so your knoledge can include the magic of love."
"But princess, I don't know anything about love. Is there a book about love that I don't know about?" Twilight asked.
"No my dear Twilight, there is no book. However, I'm sure Cadence may be able to helpand I happen to know Blank Note has a thing for you, but he's to afraid of loosing you as a friend to admit it you or his friends."
"But Blank Note is one of the most couragous ponies I know."
Meanwhile in Ponyville
"I can do this, I can do this." Blank Note murmered to himself raising his hoof to knock on Twilight's door, but right beforehe knocked he pulled his hoof back saying, "No I can't, no I can't." Then he started to have a disscution with himself,"I have to do this, but what if she says no? Well I never have been good at relation ships. Well here goes nothing." Blank Note concluded and knocked at the door.
"Twilight isn't home right now" Spike said as he opened the door.
"Oh, where is she and when will she be back?" The slightly dissapointed Blank Note asked.
"She's meeting with the princess,and I don't know when she'll be..."
Spike wad cut short by a purple unicorn teleporting on top of him." Spike? Spike!"
"Um... below you." Blank Note pointed out.
"Sorry, Spike." Twilight apologized.
"Hey, Twilight could I ask you something?"
"Well technically you just did, but you can ask me another question." Twilight replied.
"Would you be interested in getting some dinner tonight, with me?" Blank Note asked nervesouly.
"I would love to have dinner with you, Blank Note." Twilight said with a slight blush.
"When should I pick you up?" Blank Note asked with a joyous smile on his face.
"How about six-fifteen?"
"That will work. See you then, Twilight" Blank Note said and trotted home.
Later That Evening
"Where are we headed?" Twilight asked.
"Pony De Bistro." Blank Note replied with a smug tone.
"It takes a little over two years to get a reservation there! How did you get one?" Twilight asked in awe.
"I know the owner and he knows that I'm very important."
"Why are you important?"
"You'll find out if he ever comes to Ponyville." Blank Note said practically spitting the word he.
"I'm guessing you don't like him, who ever he is."
"You guessed right."
After a few minutes of silence Blank Note said "There it is," causing Twilight to look up, "And Beast is waiting for us."
"Yo, Notty when was the last time I saw you, man?" Beast said.
"I think it was..." Blank Note's face scruntched up in concentration, "The funeral I belive."
"Wow, has it really been that long?"
"Yea"
"We should probally get into the bistro."
"Good point Beast."
Soon after Blank Note and Twilight sat down and Beast left, Blank Note said "Twi, I have something to ask you," Twilight looked up while Blank Note took a deep breath "Would you be interested in being my marefrend?" Before anything could be said or done by Blank Note, Twilight teleported next to him and kissed him.
"Wow..." Blank Note said with a sly grin. Shaking his head he said "Not in public. You have no idea how easily I become aroused."
"Fine." said Twllight with a dissapointed sigh.
"Hey, it's hard enough controlling it near the most beautiful mare in Equestria."
"Who's that? Rarity?" Twilight asked with a sadness in her voice.
"No," Blank Note said while raising Twilight's head with his hoof, "You." With that he leaned in and kissed her.
"I thought you said you become easily aroused." Twilight said after the kiss ended.
"I'ld rather be publicly embatessed than let the love of my life feal like I don't love her." Blank Note said causing Twilight to gain a noticable blush.
"Are you two ready to order your drinks?" Beast asked upon returning.
"Still have my concuction?" Blank Note asked.
"Yep"
"I'll have that then."
"Okay, and for you, Twilight?"
"I'll just have water." Twilight said.
"Okay, I'll be back in a few minutes with your drinks and to take your orders." Beast said and went to the kitchen.
"What do you think you'll have, Twilight?" Blank Note asked.
"Apple friter and hey fries. You?"
"Same."
"What's the concuction?" Twilight asked with a curious look.
"Oh, just a mix of various drinks."
"Here you two are, your drinks." Beast said upon return.
"Thank you, Beast."
"No problem, Notty. Any ways what are you guys going to have to eat?"
"Apple friter and hey fries for me." Twilight said.
"Okay, and for you Notty?"
"Same."
"Okay, I'll be back soon with the food." Beast said and went to the kitchen.
"So, when are we telling our friends about our relationship?"
"Remember the breakfast meeting tommorow?"
"Yes. Are we telling them then?" Blank Note asked.
"Yes."
"I can't wait to see their reaction." Blank Note said while chuckling.
"Here you two go."
"Thank you Beast. How much?"
"It's on the house."
"Thanks man."
"No problem, Notty. See you later."
"Bye." Blank Note said.
"Bye." Beast said and left.
The rest of the night was uneventful. Twilight and Blank Note talked until they got to the liabrary. Blank Note left after they said there goodbyes. Blank Note had a peaceful sleep that night.
