The Dead Space

Well I didn't thought I would go out like this but my love is gone and most of the crew is dead when we landed on that damn colony.  My name is Twilight Sparkle and there’s a pretty good chance that I’m going to die, so I’m going to tell my story about what happened but first I think I need to tell you about the beginning of Pony kind.

500 years ago the nation of Equestria was becoming over populated and its resources were disappearing.  Celestria and Luna thought about the same outcome if this goes on.  So the princesses decided to explore the rest of the planet to colonize territories.  During this process pony kind have colonize dozens of land and mined hundreds of rich resourced areas in those lands.  When the explorers set hooves on newly found land they saw things that were completely different from Equestria, there were bean plants that grew the size of the royal castle, and animals that could feed an entire dragon for years.  But one exploring team suddenly went missing after they went to an island in the middle of nowhere.  Celestria and Luna heard about the report and decided to send military trained explorers to find out what happened to the explorers that went missing.   But when the military was about to go a single ship floated to shore of Manehattan.  He reported that his team found an artifact on the island, and that it turned the dead crew into these monstrous beings that killed the living.  The princesses decided to send entire army to the island to check the island.  When they got back they were nearly decimated by the losses they got from their own dead that only 20 stallions came back out of 200.  The surviving crew brought back the mysterious artifact for the top scientists of Equestria to study it.  The scientist found out that the artifact sends some kind of signal that reanimates dead tissue that can turn the dead into monsters, but they didn’t care about that more than they found out that the artifact could also supply an unlimited supply of energy to the entire nation.  The princesses found out about the artifact and ordered both the last surviving explorer and the surviving military soldiers to be executed.  The reports for the survivors were that they went insane because of an unknown reason and that they all committed suicide.  Then the princesses order that the scientists figure out how to make more artifacts for Equestria can produce unlimited energy to make Equestria into a super power that can surpass any other life form.  When the scientists finally figure out how to create more artifacts, so Equestria began making hundreds of these artifacts that the scientist code named “Markers.”  When Equestria finally finished building the markers and began using them as power sources for the nation, but immediately the markers began turning the dead into monster that killed almost any pony by a marker, and the marker didn’t even gave power to a city.  It took the Equestrian military 10 days and 300,000 stallions to contain and eradicate the monsters and to kill any witnesses.  The princesses decided that the markers were now too dangerous to use and they also thought they were so foolish to even try to control them.  So the princesses ordered all markers to be relocated to isolated areas around the world for no pony could find them.  For a time it worked till a colony was establish in one of those areas.

A colony sat on a dead island called Argost 6 that was in the middle of an ocean.  The island had no life on it at all, the plants have died out hundreds of years ago and the animals starved to death because of that.  The only reason Ponies decided to colonize the planet was because it had vast resources that the other colony didn’t have.  But when an island cracker ship UNE Icemora broke a chunk of the island for it resource the ship and the colony went dark.  So the princesses sent the repair ship UNE Lungar that I was part of the crew.  We were sent to fix any damages to Icemora sustained, but what we discovered on that ship was beyond any of our nightmares.

When UNE Lungar was still light speed a single crew member on the repair ship Twilight Sparkle was fixing a broken communicator that a crossed eyed Pegasus spilled her drink.  She was nearly finished before a crew member came and said.

“Hey engineer Twilight Sparkle.”  The crew member then walked up and gave her a little push.  “The captain what you on the deck right now, so hop to it.”

Twilight got up and walked with the crew member to the deck.  Twilight got to the command deck and spoke to the captain.  The captain was a Pegasus that had a Rainbow mane and a cyan coat; she was one of the toughest soldiers to pass flight but for some reason she decided to be captain of a repair ship instead of a UNE Destroyer.  Twilight walked towards and saluted the captain and said.

“Engineer Twilight Sparkle reporting for duty.”

Rainbow Dash looked at me for a second before asking.  “Twilight Sparkle well from my reports you’re new her.  Yes?”  Twilight just nodded and let Rainbow Dash continued.  “By this report one of your friends is abort this vessel. Right?”

“

Yes mam, he was the one who manage to convince my superiors to transfer me here.”  Twilight said and then looked around and asked.  “Where is she anyways?”

“Gunner Flash Sentry was transferred to a destroyer just before you got here.”

After hearing that Twilight looked down to the ground.  ‘I thought we would have been working together with this mission.’  Twilight thought to herself, she really wanted to see him again because she hadn’t seen him in person for the last two years.  That was the reason she joined the military to be with him.

“Twilight Sparkle!”

Twilight looked up and saw her captain starring at her; she got up and shook her head.  “Sorry mam didn’t mean to doze of like that.”

“Well it better not happen again because we’re here.”
