My Little Naruto: Friendship is Redemption

Chapter One: Wait! I can explain...Okay I've got nothing.

Groaning, Naruto turned over onto his stomach. Sasuke and him had it out in their final battle, all that power they gained over the fight had led to them becoming the two single most powerful ninja in existence. Sasuke decided they needed to see who was the better. They never finished the fight, something...something had happened, he wasn't sure what had happened, but something indeed happened. Well, it was time for his "Body Check" as he called it. It assessed everything and the condition of his body so he knew what to do, and what NOT to do in a fight.

Head? Freaking throbbing, and burning at the same time. It also felt like his face had been re-arranged. Sasuke  did a number on him.

Throat/Neck? Hurt, very much so. He wasn't in any condition to go about yelling, but that never stopped him before. It didn't help that he was thirsty as well.

Chest? It felt different, that and well, he felt smaller.

Arms?... Shorter, god damn it Sasuke!

Fingers? GONE. Not good, not good at all, he needed to open his eyes to see the state he was in, he was aching but not in agony.

He wasn't even going to bother with a lower area check, all he had to say was it felt off. Upon opening his eyes he noticed something.

It was damn dark in this place!

Sending chakra through his eyes he glanced around, using this technique he was able to see twenty times better and even in the dark. It was no sharingan but it still got the job done!

With his sight he caught the shadow of another figure laying on the ground next to him, it didn't look human though. Quite to the contrary it looked like a tiny horse. Err, pony if he was correct. It had a dark mane...and it was in a similar style as Sasuke's...

He could see where this was going immediately. He didn't know where he was, or how he got there. He glanced down at himself to confirm his suspensions. Yup, he was right.

He had been turned into a baby horse...pony, bah whatever. There was no use freaking out over it, he needed to gather what was going on before that, then he would panic to his hearts content! Glancing over he saw Sasuke coming to, and boy was he battered.

Sasuke was not having a good day, or for that matter a good life. After all, you try going on a revenge plan for more than ten years and try to have a good day, oh yeah and it couldn't be random revenge, it had to be absolutely soul shattering.

Unlike Naruto he had lost everything of his, not never had it in the first place. On another note, again Unlike Naruto, he had already awoke to the situation earlier. He tried didn't bother using transformation. It was simply an illusion, and even if it wasn't why would he try to transform back? It wouldn't do him much good to keep it up all day. He'd rather be in whatever state he was in to get used to it. He glanced at Naruto's shadowy figure, he had good new, and he had bad news.

The bad news was: They were stuck like this until they could get home. Seeing as what little of what he did remember involved a space time jutsu being used on them, it wasn't very good chance they would get home. More than likely they were in a whole new plane of existence. Supporting this theory would be his body, since it had been transformed, it had most likely fit to whatever this planet's sentient species was. This being, there was no point in transforming.

Good news? They still had all their chakra. On another note they had become so good that they didn't need hand signs anymore. Meaning the could cast any jutsu without them, their chakra levels were still the same. This means all that was out was their physical abilities, which wouldn't be too hard to get back up. So they were more than likely still the strongest beings.

All over all, Sasuke was pretty pleased. Sure he was still pissed someone had the nerve to do it, and when he found them (If he ever did.), he'd rip them to pieces. And he sure as hell would enjoy it. But he wouldn't cry over spilled milk, it could have been worse. They could have EVERYTHING ripped from them. That said he had decided to take a nap, when dealing with Naruto, he'd need the energy for later. That and he had been practicing walking in this form. His muscle memory had been adjusted- no, instead it had seemed like it was added to the one he already knew. Like learning another language. That didn't mean that he was not wasted his time in trying to stand like a human, upright. He received nothing in return but scratches. And a lot of frustration.

After he had awoken again, he saw the Naruto figure staring staring him right in the eyes, he could tell because they were glowing. Which to him was not a good sight for waking up to. Sighing he rose up to his hooves (Horse like, not human as he wasn't ready to eat dirt again yet.), and glanced around, activating his sharingan so he could see in the dark. Doing so he could see that Naruto was channeling chakra into his eyes. That explained how he was looking at him.

"Okay." Naruto started, he wasn't about to start anything. "What the hell is going on? I bet Madara...no wait, I forgot. He's dead." Naruto deadpanned. He re-thought about it. "Well, again." He added. Then realized he was blaming at random while Sasuke sat patiently, waiting for him to gather himself. Naruto let out a sigh of frustration.

"Well..." Sasuke began. "I'll give you a basic assessment." Sasuke began. "We have our ninjutsu. That is all." Sasuke said with a smirk. He had also noticed...something else. They seemed to be-

"You're short, and seeing as I'm the same height...something tells me we're not even the same age." Naruto frowned deeply, this wasn't good at all. His first childhood wasn't sunshine and rainbows, he honestly wouldn't want to go through puberty a second time. Well, at least no one would recognize him, they wouldn't call him a demon, heh. Sasuke merely shrugged.

"No, no we're not. We need to get going though, I have no desire to stay in this darkness for the rest of my life."  He stated.

Naruto grinned. "You seemed perfectly content with staying in the darkness before." Naruto teased. Sasuke rolled his sharingan activated eyes. Naruto would never let him live down the whole 'Revenge Phase' that he had gone through, that and Gaara had told him about his whole 'Darkness speech' he spewed back at the Kage Summit. Sasuke sighed.

"Yes, yes I was. But we really should get moving. One of these reasons is because we have no food." As if on que Naruto's stomach growled angrily, he blinked. Looks like Sasuke was on to something.

Naruto nodded his head while grinning. "Let's go find us...some...Ramen..." Naruto trailed off, as he realized something, they were currently in a cave, at least it looked like it with his chakra vision. Caverns usually meant forest. Maybe even jungles... this would mean no place that sells ramen, would be anywhere near. Naruto looked resigned. Sasuke smirked.

"Come on Dobe, we need to get a move on." Sasuke stated. Naruto got up with a hung head and trotted over to Sasuke's side. Now Naruto was wondering how they would get out. He decided to voice this out loud.

"So-" Naruto started before Sasuke swiftly cut him off.

"This is indeed a cave, Naruto. The reason there is no light is because we're currently victims of a cave-in." The black haired pony said with an impassive face. "We still have our jutsu, so getting out should be no problem." He stated offhandedly...hooftedly. (He had a strange feeling that this joke had been before, and not just a few but a lot.) Sasuke walked to where in the cave there was a bunch of rocks piled up.

"Cave in's usually block off air supply, meaning one of two things. One: We haven't been down here that long. Two: It's possible that there's another way somewhere providing air. Hell, it could mean both." Sasuke said with his squeaky voice (In which he despised greatly.). "Assuming it's the first one, we need to get the hell outta here fast before we lose anymore air." Sasuke demanded. Naruto understood the situation immediately and got serious. He held out his hoof conjuring a Rasengan, he rushes forward to the rocks as Sasuke stood back with a blank face.

Fūton: Rasengan!

CRACK

That was the sound of many rocks being blown out the cave without much effort on Naruto's part. Sunlight flew within the cave with the speed of one of Haku's needles. "Gah!" Naruto shielded his chakra enhanced eyes, cutting the chakra flow from them, it was however to late as his eyes took the full brunt of the sun's wrath.

Chakra enhanced eyes plus dark cave for a long time? Yeah, he was definitely in pain.

Sasuke however was very much so even more unlucky, where his apathetic face has been, was now contorted in pain and anguish as he writhed on the ground in agony. Sasuke had sharingan activated, therefore for him the burning orb of agony was burned into his ever perceiving memory. After about five minutes of them both on the pain (Sasuke in more pain than Naruto), they had gotten up.

A minute or two passed before anyone said anything. Sasuke was the first to speak of.

"Let us never speak of this again." He stated more than he did ask. Naruto was more than happy to agree. It was embarrassing enough he had been caught off guard, but what if someone had been attacking them? Well, in while in pain they probably would have one against several Kage leveled ninja, but still, it was the thought that counted.

"Well, where to?" The question came from the ever cheerful blond who had a smile on his face. Leave it to his for optimism. Sasuke looked around, the sensation of burning still in his eyes.

"Anywhere but here, I'm already sick of this place." Sasuke said grumpily. He really didn't want to stay here.

Naruto nodded understanding his pain, both physically and mentally. "I'll let you choose where we go." Naruto was too busy trying to remember to pay attention, he'd leave the work to Sasuke.

"Well, then. We'll be tree hopping. I don't feel like walking." He said. Naruto's head snapped back to Sasuke where it had been wandering to the side lazily taking in the sight of the forest.

"Seriously? Do you think we can do that?" Naruto asked with slightly wide eyes. Sasuke nodded.

"I tested out our ability to do things in this form. It would seem that our muscle memory has been adjusted to fit these bodies. It would be no problem." Naruto grinned hearing Sasuke's explanation.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Naruto shouted happily. Sasuke just smirked and disappeared, re-appearing on top of a tree jumping somewhere in a different direction. "Oi! Wait up!" Naruto shouted after him grinning and blurring to the tree where Sasuke did, then jumped after him.

Naruto had the exhilarating feeling of speed again, it always excited him, well when he was younger. After so many times of doing it, it got boring and became a usual thing. When he was a younger kid, doing stuff like this would have been impossible. Naruto then thought back to what happened back when he was human. What had happened that had put them in this situation? It would have had to been something powerful, because Naruto and Sasuke had become stronger than Madara and Hashirama, this meant they could take on the whole Elemental Nations without a problem or a sweat. They even had summons. Naruto didn't even bother wondering if he could summon again, it was obvious to him he could. After all, the Toads weren't even from his world, they came wherever they were summoned. Whoever defeated them (If they really were even defeated) must have had a lot of power, that was actually kind of scary. He had his doubts though, it wasn't very likely they were defeated. Well, nothing really bad had happened besides the 'Light incident'. So he wasn't going to say this was all that bad yet. After all, he still had his chakra and all that. That was awesome! That and Sasuke retained his looks, only ponified. Meaning he too would keep his dashing looks.

What? He was handsome, get over it. Or better yet linger on his handsomeness.

As Naruto had been pondering Sasuke glanced behind him at the aforementioned boy while still jumping.

Well, Sasuke wasn't one to dwell on anything for too long more than take action. His brooding about Itachi had not counted, as he couldn't take action immediately and had to use plans. He did wonder dwell on how they were going to live from now on. Since the sentient creatures were probably ponies this meant that they would have to deal with them at some point, he honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was when they stepped out the forest. The sound of wolves drew his attention for a second before stopping all together.

"Naruto." Sasuke looked disbelieving. "Are those wolves made of wood? Or are they wearing it?" Naruto blinked. He followed Sasuke's gaze to said wolves. He couldn't honestly tell.

"Not sure."Naruto shrugged. "Why?" He questioned.

Sasuke shook his head. "No reason." One does not live in a world full of chakra and ninjutsu and question the laws of nature. They long learned to disregard it. Naruto shrugged again. The wolves were eying them with confusion written on their face. Naruto just jumped back in the direction they were going before they had been stopped by Sasuke's delay. Said boy shook he head and jumped after Naruto.

After a couple more minutes of jumping they had come across a house in the woods, there lived something that was striped, they had no idea what it was.

"A horse I think." Naruto said with vigor. Sasuke shook his head.

"No." He stated flatly. "It wouldn't be striped. Look, let's just watch it to see how it works." Naruto closed his mouth form the forming protest and sat on his flank pouting crossing his arms and frowning in a manly way. Sasuke merely frowned, this could be their first creature they talked to, he didn't want to ruin it by doing something that might place him in a dislike page in the creatures book. Naruto was on to something though, it really did look like a horse...

A horse with a mowhawk, but a horse no less. Well in this case, pony. Oh well.

After exiting her house, Zecora felt the eyes of somepony on her. No, two ponies. She wasn't sure if they were really ponies or Timber Wolves, she doubted the former though. Nopony sane would come here. Hence the reason the Cutie Mark Crusaders came here often (With an escort always though, usually Big Mac.). Zecora headed into the forest, she had began looking on her list for the plants that she had needed for her latest brew, in which would be able to create something causing a healing effect upon Ponies who had inflicted injures upon themselves. After carefully avoiding the dangerous plants she stepped into a bush which had Healing Berries which would be a key part in the brew she saw something that chilled her  blood.

What looked like a dozen Timber Wolves had gathered around her, she had a schedule she followed, she did it everyday, so the Timber Wolves must have found a way to counter it. She wasn't going to get out unscathed, it would take a miracle.

"Hey look! It's those things from earlier!" Naruto exclaimed quietly. "We gotta help her." A small smirk came to his face. "Let's not let her see us." Sasuke raised a brow but said nothing. "KAY GO!" Naruto screamed, he was gone before Sasuke could do anything.

It all happened in a blur, suddenly where the Timberwolves stood, were now laid out. Zecora blinked.

"My eyes lie to me, for this cannot truly be!..." She gawked. Then turned to where she saw two pairs of eyes watching her from the shadows. They disappeared into the tree's leaves blending in, but it was too late, she had already seen.

Today was going to be one of those days, wasn't it?
