In December 17, 2025, mankind found out they were not alone in the universe. An alien species, the Anthros, had reached earth from the starry skies. Their ruler, king Sombra, approached the earthly rulers, and asked if his people could live here. They agreed, under some conditions. Him, his daughters (Celestia and Luna), and his people, had to submit to the rulers of what country they choose to live in, or if the had an unearthly material, they could provide said material and gain their own country. They choose the second, and named said country after their planet Equestria. Another condition was to study them. At first King Sombra was confused, but after the humans explained that they were alien to them and wanted to learn more, and they could do the same. And thus, Anthropology was born.
