Fluttershy woke to the sound her entire house shaking. she sat up completely terrified with the sudden loud noise. she breathed in taking in her surroundings that is when the realization hit her. she was alone... non of the animals were with her! the animals that usually slept in her room were gone... Including Angel bunny. she got out of bed and went downstairs as quietly as possible so if the animals were still here she would not wake them.

as she crept into the downstairs room in the darkness she could still make out that nopony was in the house. H..hello she said in a scared tone. trying to not panic went to the other side of the room to turn on the lights. as she hit the switch the lights flickered on just for a moment then shorted out and the room was in darkness again. she tried desperately to find to find something or someone but couldn't find anything the house was entirely empty.

she ran out side hoping to find at leased the chickens were still in there coop... nothing was there but a dark forest the entire area had changed from her warm cottage on the outskirts of Ponyvill to a forest to dark and damp forest covered in a thick layer of dense fog. she ran in all directions for hours on end to only find herself lost in the fog. she sat down put her hooves to her face and cried accepting her new cruel fate.

Fluttershy.... said a mares voice comeing from know where around her

looked up with a small amount of hope to see nothing. she must of bin imagining things. she looked back down and said. Somepony... anypony help me

the voice went silent for a moment. Fluttershy i need you to listen to me very carefully the voice said i am going to try and help you but i need you to trust me.

okay Fluttershy said. not having much choice to the strange mares voice. who are you?

fluttershy you are in a place that you must be. you must leave. it is coming. said the voice trying not to say much. all that i can tell you right now is that you are being hunted by something that will do a lot worse than kill you.

fluttershy shut her eyes obeying the voice being her only friend in this dark place. she thought of home and her friends. she thought of ponyville. then she felt something touch her left wing she jumped and screamed. as she looked around she saw the quiet foggy streets of ponyvill. she sighed saying it was just a dream but to her disappointment the voice spoke.

i'm sorry flutteshy but it's not over yet but you are safe for now you.

what is this place? fluttershy asked courteously.

i am... the voice paused for a second not actually given this much thought. i am what you would call your inner conscious but i'm afraid if you want to go home you must go through something first. and i won't lie it wont be pleasant.
