PlanetSide2 Discovers Friendship
A large battle cruiser was flying through space as the occasional debris of previously destroyed enemy ships were bumping the side of its hull. Men inside the cruiser wore their symbolic red uniform of the Terran Republic as they maintained and piloted the enormous ship. The engines stopped and went into reverse to slow down the hulking ship to a standstill, stopping in front of a beautiful new planet. The control room had many soldiers sitting in front of monitors while one man was standing on a bridge that was in the center of all activities.
“Set a visual link to all monitors throughout the ship, let our soldiers know what we’ve found.” Said the red Commander.
“Yes sir.” Said the soldier pressing buttons on his keyboard.
Many soldiers stopped moving inside the base as stationary monitors in bunk rooms, cafeterias, and of course the control room was watching the same images that the others were watching. As the camera focused in on the life filled planet, the Commander cleared his throat to gather the attention of his crew.
“Today is a glorious day for the Terran Republic as we found another planet uninhabited by our enemies to colonize and control for ourselves. But that does not mean that this planet does not have other threats to worry about. So before we enter this new world, let us monitor it and study as much as you can from it, got that soldiers?” A collective amount of ‘yes sir’ were heard as the camera finally sets on a moving chariot flying through the skies of the world.
Inside the chariot, a dragon and a unicorn were being pulled by two pegasus guards towards a small community. “My dear twilight,” Spike spoke up reading the letter, “there's more to a young pony’s life than studying. So I’m sending you to supervise the preparation for the Summer Sun Celebration in this years location, Ponyville.”
“Alright gents, what have we observed and learned so far?” The Commander said waiting for answers.
“Dragons, unicorns, and pegasi exist in this world sir!”
“A town called Ponyville is holding a type of Holiday sir!”
“They are sentient beings and probably have their own governments and communities sir!”
“The unicorn is likely smart, and politically important by the quality of chariot and strong bodyguards that pulls it sir!”
“Their weaponry and armor are Roman based compared to our own history sir!”
“Good, now lets continue our research.” The Commander said continuing to watch a pink earth pony gasp sharply and somehow defied logic and gravity.
“NNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!” Nightmare Moon bellowed as she was sucked into the rainbow blast. The rainbow twirled around her as it tightened and caused a blinding light covering the room filled with the element bearers. All that was left of the Nightmare was armor shards and princess Luna too weak to fight anymore.
“Damn.” The Commander said silently. The entire ship was silent as they watched the entire scene unfold. Some cheered of Nightmare’s defeat while others shushed them to let them hear what was going on next. They continued to watch until the final moments of the Summer Sun Celebration as Luna and Celestia left on their chariots back to Canterlot. The monitor’s visuals on the planet faded to black to end the reconnaissance on the planet. The Commander cleared his throat again to gather the attention of the awe-struck crew that still had ponies in their heads.
“Alright men, what have we observed and learned,now?” The Commander asked.
“Their society is under a monarch that controls their sun and moon sir!”
“The planet is inhabited by multiple mythical creatures sir!”
“Six mares are now bearers of mystical artifacts that purifies the target sir!”
“Celestia is a troll sir!”
“Friendship is magic sir!”
“Excellent work everybody, You,” The Commander said pointing a finger to a soldier, “connect our satellite and cameras to home base so they can also watch what we are seeing. Tomorrow, we shall show the Terran Republic of our findings.”
“Yes sir!” Everyone else yelled as they saluted.
Its been several days since the red battle cruiser started sending videos of the planet. Home base was very satisfied of their discovery and decided to connect their satellites to the other smaller bases throughout the planet. As the Terran Republic watched through their monitors of the adventures the mane six are going through, they quickly became more intrigued and excited as they continued monitoring the planet.
One day on some random base of the Terran Republic, they did not expect an all out attack from the New Conglomerate, the red soldiers were in combat with the blue soldiers that raided their base with tanks and ships. The base was highly fortified by the metal walls with giant anti-air turrets firing at the enemy. Slowly the fight ended up in the blue’s favor as they trapped the reds in one of the last facilities of the almost captured base.
“I need a medic!”
“Eat lead bluetards!”
“I need ammo!”
“Gaahh!”
“Boom head-shot!”
“MEDIC!”
In the corner of the small cramped facility filled with soldiers, a light assault soldier and a max was staring at the screen of ponies doing their daily activities. A heavy assault soldier ran past them and stopped. The soldier looked at the max and light assault soldier with rage.
“We are under attack, get your butts back in action!”
“Shh,” The max whispered with an arm raised between somewhere the mouth should be, “can’t you see we’re busy watching something? We are going to see if Rainbow Dash can do a Sonic Rainboom.”
“That’s not important! our comrades are dying and you're just going to watch a stupid screen filled with ponies!” The max stood up and aimed both of his arm cannons at the heavy assault trooper. “They are not stupid, take those words back and get lost.” The max said threatening to the hater.
“Easy Maxy,” said the light assault trooper, “remember, love and tolerate.”
“Your right, lets continue wa-”
The max’s head exploded as blue soldiers bull rushed the sitting ducks of the opposing enemy. The New Conglomerate quickly took over their new base and repaired the bases defenses. They searched the base for any Intel of the Terran Republic to help their rebellion. All they found was a whole bunch of saved files under mlp. Curious, they decided to watch them to see what information it obtained.
For an entire year, the three factions fought in glorious combat while tossing information left from right of Equestria as they discovered more from it. As purple soldiers ran around, one by one they were killed by head shots from a mysterious attacker. A blue sniper was camping on some rocks picking off his enemies one by one and used his cloaking efficiently to avoid detection.
“1...2...3...4...almost...5.”
The blue sniper continued his killing streak as he was taking advantage of his strategic position. But the sniper did not see a purple light assault trooper come from behind and shot the sniper’s arm. The sniper yelled in pain as he dropped his gun and fell on his back. The sniper turned around to see his attacker as he pulled out a pistol.
“Any last words.” The purple soldier said.
Knowing this is the end, all his mind could think of was an orange pegasus with purple mane who he thought was cute that she was looking for her special talent. “Hah...hah...I hope you get your cutie mark someday Scootaloo… you have always been best pony.” The blue soldier said panting and embracing imminent death.
“Wait a minute...you’re a brony?” The purple soldier said lowering his pistol.
“Yeah, what about it?” Anger rising, expecting criticism from the enemy.
“I’m a brony too!”
The light assault trooper removed his left arm plate and rolled his sleeve to reveal applejack's cutie mark.
“No way…lucky.” the sniper said jealous.
“Medic, come here!” The purple soldier said on his com-link.
A purple medic heard the call and started sprinting to their location. As the medic came around the rocks, he saw an injured blue enemy and his comrade.
“Enemy!” The medic yelled as he held up his rifle.
“Wait, wait!” The other purple soldier said blocking the view of the terrified medic.
“He’s a brony just like us!”
“Really?”
“Yes I am, now tell me what’s going on?”
The blue soldier learned that after the first month the Vanu Sovereignty found some videos off of the battles between the factions, the entire Vanu Sovereignty faction was bronified and treated the videos of ‘mlp’ as artifacts. They fought the other two factions to obtain more videos ever since they’ve discovered there were more to find.
As time passed, the opposing enemies learned they were all bronies and quickly called a ceasefire. It was a glorious day for the Terran Republic, the New Conglomerate, and the Vanu Sovereignty as their leaders discovered that the other army had also taken interest in ponies. They had peace talks and meetings discussing about the pony world. Things quickly got better as they decided to unite the three armies and stop this war once and for all. Everyone danced, sang, and laughed together as they continued to watch ponies with their new brethren. Conflicts now resolved, the leaders continued to lead the brony nation with love and tolerance.
One day in the high council of the most intellectual of bronies, a man suggested that they could possibly make contact with Equestria and serve under them. the council thought about this very hard. If they intervened in this world, it could cause panic to the ponies. But they RREEAALLLLYY wanted to meet their favorite ponies. Tough decisions...They decided to make themselves known.
“I wonder if there’s life out there millions of miles away us.” Twilight said looking through her telescope.
It was a beautiful night outside of Ponyville, everypony slept except for twilight who decided to stargaze and observe the universe above her. She was on top of a hill sitting on a blanket to avoid being dirtied by the ground as she looked at random constellations. As she looked around in her telescope, she caught three bright stars streaking the night sky with beautiful white lines. As she looked at them, she realized they were kind of getting close. She gasped as three hulking giant metal beasts descended and stopped above Canterlot.
“Oh no, the princesses!” Twilight yelled panicking.
Ponyville heard the loud ruckus and saw the three weird ships floating above Canterlot. Panic was everywhere as ponies tried to hide their kids, hide their wives, and hide their husbands too because they were afraid of what could be happening in Canterlot. the mane six quickly gathered since they were now awake from the screams of the panicking townsfolk. Twilight decided to use a giant teleportation spell to quickly teleport them to Canterlot.
When they got there, all the nobles were running back into their homes as royal guards flew straight to Canterlot Castle. The mane six decided to follow the guards back to the castle and see what all of this is about. When they got to the front of the palace gates, they were very shocked to see weird ugly apes standing at attention in full battle armor and carrying whatever it was in their arms. Celestia descended down to the entrance to her home as Shining Armor ordered his men to surround the mysterious foes. Three humans took a step and slowly putting their weapons down which scared the living daylights out of the royal guards. The humans raised their hands up and took small steps towards Celestia which made Shining Armor step up in front of them and standing in between Celestia and the three humans.
“Shining Armor, please step aside.” The princess ordered politely.
“But your majesty, they are dangerous, they come in numbers wearing armor and holding weird weapons in their...whatever limbs they are carrying it with.” Shining Armor said worried and still looking at his potential enemies.
“If they were dangerous, they would surely not have offer themselves up without their weapons now would they?” Celestia argued back, “Let me speak to them please.”
Shining looked at Celestia, hoping she would change her mind, but seeing no change in expression, he decided to step back and let Celestia handle it.
“Welcome alien travelers, my name is Celestia, the princess who governs these very lands you are stepping on. May I ask what brings you to this lovely planet?”
“We are humans who have been monitoring this very planet for years,” Everypony present in the vicinity was now shocked at that claim. Hearing that they’ve been watched and didn’t even realize it. “As we watched your planet, we have learned what your dear student Twilight have been studying. The magic of friendship. We learned many things as we watched you become our inspiration of peace. That is why we wish to make peace with you and serve under your benevolent rule your majesty.”
Everypony was wide-eyed with mixed emotions and confusion. Even Celestia was a bit taken aback by this.
“A- um- erm-...what?” Celestia said with confusion. “I mean, We are honored you humans have seen us as an inspiration for you all, and I’ll be happy to make negotiations with you."
Equestria and the united brony nation made an alliance and the humans served Equestria well, teaching the humans about their culture and more about friendship. When Chrysalis invaded Canterlot, she was completely overwhelmed by the twenty million humans who descended from the skies that saw strange creatures battering the magic shield of their superior, Shining Armor. When Sombra attacked the Crystal Empire, hundreds of tanks, air ships, and about thirty million armored to the teeth soldiers came to ‘persuade’ Sombra to never bother ponies again. Life was good as the humans protected the ponies from danger for generations to come.
