Even crazies can love! (Musical)
Chapter 1
Load Full StoryA laugh filled the corridors. The dark shadow of the one pony in the building crept up the walls, the top of it's ears touching the ceiling. The mare who cast the shadow walked forwards, her unnervingly black eyes scanning the room for any intruders. Her ears had small rings up the back of them, and one small diamond was at the tip of her right ear. Her mane was bright red with sickly green tips. Her teeth were sharp and long, but her most outstanding feature was her cutie mark. It was a face with swirls for eyes. There was one word on the face: Htaed. It was an ancient language used by vampires; they'd write messages backwards, believing it was a better way to communicate, without any fleshies finding out. She laughed once more, her gray hoof pushing the door open. The darkness outside soothed any pain she had, and she slowly began to sing a song.
Princess Luna swooped down and stared the mare in the eyes. "Red Hearts, I hope this is important! No child of the night is allowed to mis-use the calling song! Last time you used it, you dropped your keys down the drain!" She put a hoof on Red's shoulder. "It's for your safety, you must understand, my daughter."
Red sighed. "Yes mother, it is a good reason. I want a friend, but my nonsensical rambling and my eyes always scare my friends away... I wish to have an insane friend, that can also break the fourth wall and see the author!" She exclaimed.
Luna raised a brow. "Author?"
Red made a derpy-esque face. "You weren't meant to hear that..." Luna laughed at her daughter's stupidity, lifting the young alicorn onto her back and flying into the moonlight. "I know just the mare; Pinkamena Diane Pie, Ponyville's town clown." Red smiled, and began to sing.
Red yawned as her mother lay her on a cloud that rested beneath the moonlight. She tiredly whispered the last few lines before drifting off to sleep.

Pinkie pie bounced down the streets of Ponyville, giving her farewells to the ponies who passed. "Goodnight Cranky Doodle Donkey! Goodbye Rose! Sweet dreams, Fluttershy! Nightie-night, Time Turner! Hi Princess Lu- wait, when did you come here?"
Luna chuckled, as the pink earth pony known as Pinkie Pie stopped in front of her. "I need you to cheer up my daughter, Princess Red Hearts, the princess of hope. She has been begging me to get her a friend, so I command you to be her friend," she switched to the royal Canterlot voice. "NOW!"
Pinkie giggled. "Careful, you might wake somepony up!"
"Oh, sorry," Luna mumbled. "I have no wishes to be an expergefactor."
"An expert-factory?"
"An 'expergefactor' is old Equestrian for disturbance, or something that wakes a pony up."
"Oh, okay! So, where's your daught-" Before she could finish her sentence, Luna teleported her to a cliff, where the cloud rested at the tip. "Ah, there she is!" Pinkie giggled. "At least here you won't be an ex-pergie-wergie-factory!" Luna, for lack of a better description, face-hoofed. "I hope that Red doesn't leave too much of a staddle in the cloud, it's the softest in Equestria..."
"Saddle?"
"Staddle is old Equestrian for a dent or 'mark' left in the bedclothes when you get out of bed."
"O-O-Oh! I'm going to have so much fun with Red! We'll go skiing, and snowboarding, and baking, and-"
"Pinkie, I believe I am the lǣdere in this situation."
"You say leader funny."
"Old Equestrian."
"Oh..."
Suddenly, Red began to move, and her eyes opened. A grin appeared on her face, and fangs were shown.
"Oh dear..."
"Oh dear what?"
Pinkie found herself staring into Red's eyes. Those breathtaking eyes... they seemed to hypnotize her. "You okay, Pink pony?" Oh, and her voice. Her soothing yet daunting voice.... "Can I help you?" Pinkie snapped out of her trance, and realized she had been staring at the mare's eyes for a minute. "Umm... My name's Pinkie Pie, and I'd like to know if... umm... maybe you'd like to be my friend?" Pinkie had to stop herself from replacing 'friend' with 'marefriend'.
"Sure."
Pinkie's heart exploded. Those sensation-less eyes... that silky smooth voice that sent a shiver up her spine... maybe she had a chance of winning it. Gripping onto whatever of her superiority was left, she let a petite smile reach up her face. She was ready. "So... Red.... do you want to go and see what fine cuisine is in Ponyville? There's Sugar-cube Corner, Pony Joe's, the Dragon-claw coffee shop, or maybe....?"
"Pony Joe's will be fine. I heard that the donuts there are imposing!" Red smiled, thinking of the super sugary strawberry sprinkle surprise... or the triple toffee tumble ring! Maybe the Crazy cherry ones were better.... but what does she know? She only heard about this because her mother teleported the newspaper to her doorstep and every edition had an advertisement slap-bang in the middle of it. Smiling, Pinkie quickly let out a "Okseeyathereat11amnotpmpmwouldbetoolateidbeasleepsogothereat11amokaybye!" before running back to Ponyville.
"I think, my daughter, you have just won yourself a date with a crazy decoration-and-snack perfectionist."
Red smiled. "Yes, yes I have."
