She chuckled Moonshine would do anything to stay up later. "Your father, Discord, was a brave kind Draconequus. The princesses asked me to reform him one day and I did, he was confused and didn't have friends and later we fell in love and had you then he..." She stopped. Her long pink hair stretched across the bed, she was taller now almost as tall as princess Luna when she was younger. "You mean you met princess Luna before she reformed into nightmare moon?!" Moonshine asked happily. With a simple nod and reply "yes but it's late and we have work tomorrow." When she said 'work' she meant it, first was another day working as the pet sitters and vets, then Pinkie Pie was going to throw Moonshine a sweet 16 party which would most likely have pin the tail on the pony. When moonshine heard the door click shut she got up and opened the curtains and let the moonlight shine in. "Well mom I have bigger plans tonight" she whispered a whisper that echoed throughout the large room. She was a tall pony but the same hight of her mom like every average pony her age. She had a silky black coat, like nightmare moon, and a shoulder length purple mane that got lighter as it went down with small dots of white in it. She looked so familiar to her her mom assured her it was just what she looked like. She was also a pegasus like her mother but inherited magic her father used. She tiphoofed into her bathroom and turned on the water for a bath. Once it filled up she got the nessacsary supplies. Her sleek black coat became muddy from the contents on her bed from the previous day. She put her hoof in and the water quickly became mucky so she drained the water and turned the shower on. She stepped in and in a instant all the mud drained off of her like she was dirt standing tall above the ground, being washed away by rain. She turned the faucet off and quickly became cold. Now came the hard part, getting the shampoo and conditioner on. She had two things she could do, use her chaos magic to try and lift it, or use her chaos magic to give her a temporary unicorn horn. Neither she had tried before but the unicorn horn sounded easier and it lasted longer. She used her hooves to wrap a towel around herself and went to her bookshelf for a chaos magic book her father wrote. She took it and read the page.
Unicorn Horn Chaos spell number 15
be warned if you use to much magic with this temporary horn it could stay there, grow larger or it will change your appearance like all other chaos spells you can snap your fingers or focus very hard on the spell if using it in mind just use these words: okatu malkey prosino. It the more power you put into it the larger it will be. The larger it is the longer it will last. Every minute it will shorten an inch.
She read the spell carefully and used all that she could after a while of trying a horn of her own appeared. She accedentily add it a few inches bigger then she wanted it to but that didn't matter. She slowly but surely levitated the shampoo and conditioner closer and poured some onto her head. She turned on the faucet again as the spell book warned her 'every minute the horn shortens in length if too much strong magic is used the horn will stay at that state, get longer, or any other physical change will happen. ' her horn was now as big as twilights when she first met her mother. She applied soap to herself and washed it off. Moonshine used her horn once more to use a spell to dry her coat. She got out of the bathroom and walked over to her vanity. She brushed her hair using her horn but she had used a lot of magic by then and the horn expanded. She took applied her dark purple eye shadow and walked over to her closet. Her horn turned into a stub then disappeared. She looked through her closet, finding nothing to wear was a last minute thing. She took her saddle bags and put things she needed in them. She opened and flew out the window over to ponyville. She flew over to Carousel Boutique which was open until 11. Luckily it was ten. She walked in to see Rarity, rarity was like a second mother, of she had a boy she liked she would help her. Rarity smiled and greeted Moonshine "so darling whats brought you out past curfew tonight?" She asked. "I need a dress for tonight because me Scoots, SweetieBelle, and Applebloom are going on a quadruple date for my birthday." Rarity ran across the room and grabbed various shades of purple and blues. Rarity took a tape measure with her magic and measured her. Then she took some templates out of a cabinet. She took it over to a pony manuquinn and created the fine dress but that didn't suit Rarity enough. She took some silvery purple horse shoes from a cabinet. But that still didn't end there Rarity frantically searched the house for something. She looked upstairs and with a final 'AHHA!' She came down stairs with three things being held in her magic,a necklace, some silver stars and a light blue and dark purple flower maneclip. She put the flower on the dummies ear, necklace around the dummies neck and for the stars she spiced it up a little bit. She found a light blue belt as well and threw the stars away and took out some white diamonds. She sewed them onto the belt and placed it around the waist of the fake pony. "So what do you think?" She asked Moonshine. Moonshine loved it and stared at it but in reply nodded "how many bits?" She asked "NO! No bits your like a niece to me! You don't owe me anything but you being here" she smiled. Moonshine smiled back and pulled out her chaos spell book and turned to the unicorn horn page. "Watch this!" She said and cast the spell on herself. The spot where her horn previously was glowed brightly and reappeared. Rarity stared in shock as she used the levitation spell of the dress. She used the magic again to put on the clip, horseshoes, necklace and belt. She waited a few minutes before going out for the spell to wear away. Then she walked away with one last goodbye to Rarity.
