"I know it's around here somewhere..."
"Are sure you know where you're going Pinkie Pie?"
"Yep. It should be.... HERE!" Pinkie replied as she found the entrance. "Come on Rare, you want to use it don't you?"
"Yes, yes. I'm coming just, wait for me." Rarity said as she followed the pink pony through the break in the foliage.
They had been looking for the mirror pool that Pinkie had told Rarity about a few days ago, because Rarity was intrigued by it and was hoping to clone herself so as to make her job of making dresses a little easier with more help.
"You remember the rhyme?" Pinkie asked, turning her head around to look at Rarity.
"Run it by me again please." Rarity said.
"And into her own reflection she stared, yearning for one whose reflection she shared, and solemnly sweared not to be scared, at the prospect of being doubly mare'd. Got it?"
"Got it."
As the two neared the pool, Pinkie asked the question that was bugging her the whole time. "Rarity, why do you want duplicates of yourself anyway?"
"Well I've got a huge order to fill and I know that I can't do it myself, so I decided to make a few duplicates of myself to help because they would know exactly what they are doing." Rarity answered.
"Makes sense, but what do you do when you're done with them?" Pinkie asked.
"Ummm... I actually hadn't thought about that Pinkie..." Rarity said.
"Don't worry, we'll think of something." Pinkie reassured.
As they approached the mirror pool, Rarity took one last look at Pinkie, who winked and motioned for her to go ahead. Rarity looked at her reflection in the pool and said; "And into her own reflection she stared, yearning for one whose reflection she shared. And solemnly sweared not to be scared at the prospect of being doubly mare'd."
As she finished speaking, the first of many Rarity duplicates crawled out of the pool, and looked around.
"Um," the real Rarity began, "hello there."
"Hello." The clone said.
"I'll bet you're wondering why you're here, so I'll tell you. You're here to help me make beautiful dresses, but I'll need a few extra me's just to make sure that it goes by quickly." Rarity said.
"Okay." The clone said.
The real Rarity and the clone looked back into the pool, and repeated the rhyme. Several times later, there were a total of eleven Rarity's in the room, ten clones and the real Rarity.
"Now, to Ponyville, so we can make my dresses!" The real Rarity said to the group of clones.
"Ooh ooh! I wanna help!" Pinkie said excitedly.
"Sorry Pinkie, I have all the help I need. Thank you for helping me find the mirror pool though, I couldn't have done it without you." Rarity said.
"No problem Rare, that's what friends are for." Pinkie said happily.
