//-------------------------------------------------------// A changelings story -by MY LITTLE PONY FAN- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 Chapter 1 Dray awoke in his bed next to his marefriend who was sleeping cutely and was cuttleing up to Dray. He smiled and stayed there, so he closed his eyes and started to remember the events of last night and he thought about how they meet about 5 mounths ago at a club that Vinal Scratch aka DJ-POONY was DJing at. He saw her sitting alone at a table. He walked over to her said hi and bought her a drink, asked a few questions and they just hit it off. After a week of dating they decited to become coltfriend, marefriend and the rest was sweet memories. But last night was the first time they went all the way. Dray smiled at the thought of her as he moved his head a little and took in a deep breath of her main it smeled of sweat from last nights activitys. He put his hooves around her and stroked her main gently. She started to get up from sleep and she opened her eyes, smiled and with that she kissed him "good morning" she said "good morning" said Dray with a smile on his face. She smiled as she sat up "hmm what time is it Dray?" He sat up and looked at the clock "it's 6:30." He said "6:30! I got to go to work at 7:30!" She said as she shout out of bed and went into the bathroom to get reddy for work. After a few seconds later she yield out from the bathroom "hey can you make breakfast pleas!" She said "sure" said Dray, he got up out of bed and stretched a little "um what do you want me to make?" He said. "Eggs and toast with milk please." She yelled from the bathroom. "Ok" he said as he looked in the mirror he looked himself over making sure his brown main and his brown coat was presentibatle, after he did that he headed out of the room, down the stairs and walked in to the kitchen. Sense he was a unicorn he used his magic to get a few eggs, a bowl, and a egg beater. While looking for a frying pan he cracked some of the eggs into the bowl and started to stur it. After rummaging about looking for the pan, he found the one he was looking for and set it on the open flame top stove and set the flame to low, pourd the stured up eggs slowly on to the hot pan. The smell of cooking eggs filled the room, and while cooking with his magic he popped in some bread into the toaster and activated it. After a cupple of minuets the now tosted bread popped up he grabed two plates and set them on the counter. He put one tost on each plate buttered side of it facing up while letting the eggs simmer for a bit he set the table and took the cooked eggs in the pan off the burner, turned the flame of and scooped the scrambled eggs on to the two plates, giving his marefriend more than him because she needed the energy for work with the weather and all in Canterlot that was planed for today, because the royal wedding was going to happen today and the sky had to be cleared for it. He cleaned up the mess he had made and after he finished cooking and a few seconds later Feather his marefriend came down from up stairs and said "mmm it smells good Dray." "Thank you Feather" said Dray with a cheerfully smile, as he poured said dray and some milk for the both of them. Feather sat down across from Dray and started to eat she swallowed some food then said Dray can you please turn on the radio to the news station" "ok" said Dray and he did just that. News pony "hello lady's and gentlecolts this is equestria daily news radio the number one news station out there and today's top news the royal wedding is still going to be going on today. Even those changelings couldn't stop the two love birds from postponing the wedding I bet that nothing will stop this wedding!..." "Wow" said Feather "there still going on with the wedding" she said "ya" said Dray. News pony "Well enough about the wedding now. Let's talk about those changelings and how to protect your self from them. First off a changeling is a bug like pony looking thing that feed off love. There all black and have holes in there hooves and legs, big blue compounded eyes and they have fangs to suck the love out of you, they also have bug like wings and a horn like thing similar of that to a unicorn. Some have reported seeing some changelings do magic with these so called horns of theirs. And ya know what else they can shape shift into anypony they want to, so watch your back Canterlot.... But also to be clear to the viewers these are some opinions and possibly just a myth or two a legend even. " Said the news pony on the radio. "I hate those changeling things they really really creepy looking and I hate it I hate them I hate a lot of bugs they just creep me out the way they can clime on walls and hide from our sight" said Feather. "Hmm I think there cool because they can fly and use magic just like a alicorn and they can climb on walls so I think there really cool besides the feeding off love part that part is kind of well ... Um ... Disturbing." Said Dray ".....O but I love the shapeshifting part too they can be any one of us kinda like spy's in movies." Dray said with a big smile. " I mean really how fun would it be to be able to walk on the celing or to fly in my case but if they are bug like, like they say then they probably don't have free will." Said Dray. "What do you mean they wouldn't have free will?" Asked Feather " well some bugs have queens that tell them what to do and stuff like ants or bees and by the number of them all out there I'm guessing they have a queen because what els could of drawn all of them here." Said Dray. "Oh" said Feather. "Well ya I guess it would be cool but what if your best friend was one there entire life the same for any pony that you love and stuff, If they turned out to be like that, I don't think I could ever trust them again ever even if there sorry." Said Feather "... Ya I guess it'd be the same thing for me too." Said Dray. A few minuets later after they were done eating, Dray was doing the dishes Feather was getting ready still, "ok, I'm off" said Feather as she leaned in and kissed Dray. "Ok, I'm going to go to the market later" he said "ok bye" said Feather "bye" Dray said as he hugged her and kissed the side of her face. Feather then walked out the door and flew away. Dray was all alone he finished doing the dishes and then he walked out side to the market that was closest to home after a 20 minute trot to the market he arrived. Now the markets in Canterlot were always busy always but today it still had ponys shopping but not as many as normal. Dray spent about 30 to 40 minutes at there doing the boring task of getting groceries. He was walking home with food and stuff when all of a sudden the the magic wall that was holding the changelings back it shattered the changelings started to pour in and wreck havoc. Dray dropped everything and started to run from two changelings after a few minuets of running there was a loud boom and a pink bearer shot out over the castle and then it started to take down changelings it past over dray and he then blacked out.... Also I fixed this chapter up a bit //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue Prologue "Hmmm." moaned Dray as he opened his eyes to see he was in side some where damp and dark, he looked around the ceiling it was made of stone and it looked wet and it had a bit of moss growing on it. He sat up in the bed and looked around he stopped looking as soon as he saw the metal bars. There was a look of shock on his face as he saw that he was in the castle dungeon. After a few minuets of thinking of why he was here "ok so I was running from two changelings and then there was a loud boom and I saw a pink shield looking thing coming toward me then I blacked out...." Thought Dray as a guard walked by and looked at him. The guard came back, stops and smiles "well now good to see your up your the first one that has gotten up so far." said the guard. "We'll now I can have a little fun I guess" he said as he sat down in front of the bars and looked at Dray. "....Um why am I here?" asked Dray "what do you mean why." Said the guard "you lost, you all lost we defeated you and your queen." He said "Queen ... What? What are you talking about, what queen?" Said Dray. "... Really are you that stupid" said the guard "but fine the changeling queen" he said. Dray looked confused "um .... Ok but what does that have to do with me?" Asked Dray. The guard started to laugh at the statement. "What?" Said Dray "ha ha your a god dam changeling that's why, I can't believe this you must be the most stupid changeling ever, I mean really that blast must of killed part of your brain." Said the guard. Dray was shocked to hear that "W-what do you mean I'm a changeling!?"
