Rainbow Dash flew around ponyville anxiously. She was so worried about her meeting with Celestia that she couldn't seem to rest. Fall air ran through her wings, chilling them. Her scarf was no help in combatting the icy air of Autumn. Dash came to a stop in the air when she saw a lavender alicorn running through the streets. "Rainbow! I have awesome news! Where are you? Raiiiiiinbow!?" The pony Called. "Twi!!!" Dash fluttered down to Twilight exitedly. "What's the big news?" Dash questioned. "I figured out how to turn any pegasus or unicorn into an alicorn, and I need a test subject!" Twil said happily. "Is it safe? Does it work on earth ponies? Is it temporary?" Dash asked her purple friend. "Yes No and... I don't know! I've done calculations on the safety part and I'm pretty sure that it's safe..." Dash stared at Twilight and reluctantly muttered the words "If it's for you... Then Yes. I'll do it." Twilight's face soon turned into a happy smile "THANKYOU DASH!!! THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!" Twilight then took off and crashed into a streetlantern. "Don't worry Dash! I'm learning" and she struggled to fly off. Dash smiled and nearly forgot about the spell Twilight planned to cast. She flew into the darkening sky tiredly with wind blowing in her face. As she neared her cloudy home, Dash yawned. Se then landed onn her doorstep and opened the cloud door. After combing her mane, she slowly walked to her bed. It's covers were so warm and fluffy as she drifted off to sleep in the coziness of her pegasus retreat.
As the morning sun rose over ponyville, rapid beats of hooves smacked on Rainboe Dash's door. "DASH! DASH! DASH!" Twilight screamed. Dash opened her eyes wearily to the sound of twilight nearly breaking the door down. "TWI! SHUT UP!" She yelled. Dsh gotup and trotted groggily to her wooden vanity with a little carving of a rainbow on top. She combed her knotted mane into place and put on her scarf. She stepped out of the door only to see an elated twilight staring at her about an inch away. "GAAGH!" Dash screamed as she fell off her doorstep. Twilight had frightened the poor pegasus and caused her to fall. "oops.. Heh Heh.." Twi laughed as Dash gained altutude. "Lets Go." Dash said, annoyed. And off they flew togetherinto the freezing morning air.
As Rainbow And Twilight walked into the library, they both shivered Twilight decided to start a fire. Dash looked around at all the books on magic scattered arounnd the room such as "A Guide to Alicorn Magic" and "Morph Spells: Volume 3" And "Transmography: Volume 10". "Ok! lets get started" Twi chirped. Dash was looking at the fire. It crackled and danced. It calmed Rainbow's nerves before the spell. "I'm- I-I'm Ready... Twilight.." Dash muttered. "Alright!" Twilight said confidently as she powered up her horn "Let's do this!" Twilight's horn became brighter and brighter. It made a whirring sound and sent a bright beam of pink light at Dash, lifting her up into the air. Twilight's eyes glowed and her wings stuck to her closely as she helt Dash up with her magic. The beam then began to swirl around dash, making a cascade of light surround her. Dash's shape glowed bright blue and began to rise higher. Dash's wings grew painfully and she twitched with discomfort "Wh-what's going on twilight!?" She yelled over the whirring. "Twilight?" The light suddenly flashed brighter and became louder. A thin horn sprouted out of dash's head. Her mane began to sparkle and shine. Her tail did the same. Her coar became glossy and beautiful. The pain was gone now and she bgan to lower. Rainbow Dash was weary from all the magic and collapsed to the floor. The was remarkably taller and very slender. Twilight quicky lifted her with magic and sat her in a bed.
