It was a bright and beautiful sunny day, you’re at the beach just relaxing, lying on your beach towel getting some sun when you notice something glistening halfway across the beach from you, at first you ignore it, thinking about what you had just seen, you decide to go for a refreshing swim. After an hour of swimming, you notice the shimmer of light a second time, once again ignoring it and continue swimming, another hour passes and your once again relaxing on your towel after a tiring but relaxing swim, once again you notice the light glistening, this time you decide to investigate the strange glistening light. After what seems like an hour of running you find yourself covered in a heavy sheen of sweat, you look up to see what looks like gemstones buried in the sand as you approach the gemstones, you are suddenly struck in the back of the head knocking you out instantly.
“…ke up.” You hear someone say as you wake from your unintentional sleep. “Wake up.” You turn to your side to see what looks like a lavender being with the head of a pony the body of a human and instead of feet she has hooves and you notice that she has human hands “Hey, you awake?” the lavender being asks with a look of concern.
When you look at her in the eyes you see that she is a unicorn with wings, you sit up on what seems to be her bed and you ask “Where am I?”
The lavender being says “Oh, you’re in my home and the library of Ponyville.” You look at her with a confused look.
“Ponyville? What world is this? What are you?”
“Oh, you must be new here then, if you didn’t know, this nation is known as Equestria, and before we go any further, my name is Twilight Sparkle, what’s your name?” you tell her your name as you lower your head in shyness and nervousness at the same time. “You certainly act like my friend Fluttershy, I’m sure she’d like to meet you.”
“Hey, Twilight… was it, I was wondering, how did I get here?” you ask nervously,
“Hm, good question, may I also ask how you got into Equestria?” she asks with a ‘matter of fact’ like tone.
“Agh how did I get here, how should I tell her without lying to her." you think to yourself.
“And before you answer that, I want to answer your last question, I am an alicorn, and I am Princess Twilight Sparkle, keeper of the Everfree.” Twilight says bringing you a cup of tea, which you hesitantly accept.
“Well, I am from a place called America, and I was just enjoying myself on one of the many beaches when I noticed some strange gemstones glistening in the distance from where I was resting. I tried twice to ignore it, but the third time I couldn’t resist as my curiosity overtook me, and when I got close enough to take them I was just knocked out cold and wound up on your bed when I woke up.” You both hear a knock at the front door and Twilight goes to answer, while she’s gone you notice another bed that holds what looks like a dragon/human hybrid with purple scales and emerald green hair. You lower your head as the boy rises from his slumber and stretches his arms out unknowingly touching your arm, both of you yelping in alarm.
“Uh, hi, I’m Spike, who are you?” you have the same reaction as you did with Twilight when introducing yourself, lowering your head. “Hey, don’t worry, I’m not going to hurt ya big guy, I just wanna get to know ya.” Says Spike.
Still hiding your face the best you can, you ask spike “Were you the one who knocked me out over some gemstones?”
Spike blushed, “Heh… sorry about that, I thought you were going to just keep it for yourself and not let anyone else have it, but I really am sorry that I conked you in the back of the head, my greed can, at times, get the best of me.” Spike said.
“Hey, it’s okay, I was going actually going to return it to its owner.”
“I’ve actually been wondering what happened to that gemstone, as a matter of fact.” Came another voice from the other end of the room, he turned to see another unicorn with a white coat followed by Twilight. You introduce yourself to her with an air of calmness as she walks closer she speaks with a haughty tone of voice “Hello dear, the name is Rarity, while others would tremble with excitement at my name and looks, you seem to be able to handle yourself better than most, oh, how I positively adore stallions with your level of self-control, then as soon as she was done speaking a streak of cyan blue enters the room halting directly in front of you.
“Whoa, I never imagined to meet a Pegasus before, What’s your name?” you ask after introducing yourself,
“The names Rainbow Dash, I came as fast as I could after work to meet you when I heard from Twilight here.”
Then a sudden eruption of confetti and balloons come out of nowhere in particular and soon after a pink pony enters the room and energetically says “HELLO, MY NAMES PINKIE PIE, BUT YOU CAN CALL ME PINKIE FOR SHORT, WERE GOING TO HAVE SO MUCH FUN TOGETHER, WERE GOING TO HAVE LOTS OF PARTIES AND…” “WHOA, you must be really hyped right now.”
Cutting pinkie pie off, “Darn tootin’ she is. Howdy, mah names Applejack, who are you?” an orange coated pony enters with her southern drawl, you introduce yourself getting comfortable with the situation, then finally everyone settles down as one final Pegasus enters the room, her coat a creamy yellow with a pink mane and tail, she looks at you and hides herself behind her mane shyly, you introduce yourself then ask her name.
“My… my name is Fluttershy”
Still able to understand her you say “Hey, Fluttershy, I’m not here to hurt anyone, I just want to find some answers, okay?” you say in a calm voice trying to comfort her, “So, would anyone like to give me a tour of Ponyville?” you ask.
After an hours of walking around you find yourself back at the library and Twilights home, tired, you crash on the floor from being so exhausted and fall into an instant sleep snoring lightly. As the sun rises it shines in your eyes giving a somewhat rude awakening, you rub your eyes to get the sleep out of them and you suddenly hear the clatter of pots and pans looking into the kitchen, you see Spike making breakfast, while he’s cooking you ask “Where’s Twilight?”
“Oh, she’s over at Rarity’s.” he replied.
“Hey, Spike, I’m gonna go around town, meet the rest of the ponies here. I also happened to notice the orchard and I saw a sign with the name I just couldn’t make it out clearly”
As soon as he said that “Sweet Apple Orchard” Applejack chimed in.
“Well anyway I’m gonna go and look around and get acquainted.” You say to Spike and Applejack. They both look at you and say “have fun.” You walk out of the library and give a sigh of relief from yesterday’s stresses. You think to yourself “I actually like it here; I think that if I speak to the leader of this place they might let me stay. The ponies here are so kind to me even though I’m nothing like them, and Spike seems okay with me being here too, convincing me even more to stay forever.”
“Well, that being the case,” Twilight came out of nowhere startling you, “you will need to speak to Princess Celestia, now I remember you mentioning that you were searching for answers as to why you were brought here and Princess Celestia can help you with that, so tonight I will write to her and notify her of your presence here in Ponyville and that you seek an audience with her.”
“How did you get here so quickly?”
Twilight smiles and says “Teleportation magic.”
With that you continue walking together, “Say, if I’m going to be seeking residence here in Ponyville, I guess I’m going to need to look for work, aren’t I?” you ask her as you look into her beautiful eyes, she giggles at the question and says “yes.” Hearing her giggle makes you let off a little bit of laughter as well, “I guess we should head back to the library, shouldn’t we?” you ask, she responds “Yes, I need to study some things particularly about you, so I hope you don’t mind.”
“Oh not at all, I was thinking it wouldn’t be a bad idea to learn more about the history of this place, you know maybe helping me come closer to finding the answers I am looking for, and so you know back in America I didn’t really have any friends, well actually, I had no friends there, so I have no reason to go back, besides I really like it here.” You say, leaving her standing there with a shocked expression on her face.
She suddenly snaps out of her trance and says “Wow, living without friends must be tough, huh?”
“Yeah, it is.” She looks at you with comforting eyes as you feel tears leak from your eyes and you both don’t notice that you are already at the door of the library until you practically bump into it. Once inside she places her arm over you to provide comfort as you bury your face into her shoulder sobbing silently as you knew that what you said was true, after minutes of sobbing, you lift your head and dry your eyes.
She asks you “Hey, you okay?”
With a sniffle you say “yeah.” She then leads you to her room and says “you can sleep in my bed tonight, as it is I will be up all night just studying, as I have fallen behind in my studies anyway.”
“You don’t have to do that just for me, but don’t forget that letter, but thank you anyway.” As you lay down you think to yourself “I’m glad that’s off my chest, it was bothering me ever since I got here and started making friends. But knowing that Twilight is comforting me in my time of need I would think the others would do the same, is this what I was brought here for, Friendship, maybe, maybe not, I’ll find out sooner or later.” you fall into a deep sleep, thankful for your new friends.
The next morning you wake up feeling well rested to find Twilight laid down next to you with her arms around you, you gently nudge her to wake her up, as she wakes up she realizes that she had her arms around you but instead of pushing her away, you gently embrace her, she tightens her grip around you saying “Thank you for showing up when you did.”
You reply with “I’m glad I showed up here when I did also, thank you for taking me in.” You both nod as you heard each other’s gratitude for one another. You both lay back down for a moment just looking into one another’s eyes. Then you both decide to get up and do all of the intended activities for the day, you help her reorganize her library alphabetically and you actually find that you enjoy working with her.
Rainbow dash enters the library with Spike unconscious, and in her arms you react quickly, asking “What happened?”
She was quivering as she looked at him and said “I… I never saw it… I never saw it coming, then… then it hit him.” She was quivering with fear as she looked at Spike. Wounded severely and unconscious, you run to the hospital with the map Twilight gave you with Spike in your arms, as soon as you enter the doctors have a gurney ready for Spike, you place Spike on the gurney and run back to the library to check on the others as they would surely be there after hearing you run frantically by, they were all gathered around Rainbow Dash trying to console her as she was sobbing loudly from what she had witnessed.
You walk up to her placing a hand on her shoulder saying “Lean into me, use me as your cover.” And with that she buried her face into your shoulder and wrapped her arms around you tightly, you return the embrace, wholeheartedly realizing her emotion, you began to feel tears leaking down your face and signal the rest to join in. For days, the seven of you sat there without sleep until you heard a knock on the door, it was Derpy Hooves, with a letter detailing Spikes condition, stating that he is alive and is stable, but is not yet in any condition to receive visitors. Derpy also had a letter for Twilight in particular, after opening the envelope,
“Dearest Twilight Sparkle, I understand the urgency of your discovery, and I also received, in your letter, a note stating that he’d chosen to seek residence in Ponyville, and upon this request, I do hereby permit this individual of which you speak, to live in Ponyville. On this note, he must also write of his findings on friendship, and send a report to me as he discovers them. As always, Princess Celestia.” Upon hearing this, the seven of you begin to ecstatically cheer while not forgetting about Spike.
After calming down Twilight pulls you into a tight, passionate, embrace. Once everyone leaves the two of you retire to the bedroom. Once in bed, she pulls you into another passionate embrace, as you lie there you think “How lucky am I to find such a place as kind as this?” The next day, you wake up to find her pacing in her pajamas.
“Um, hey Twilight is everything okay?” “Yeah it’s just… I… I…” she begins sobbing again, remembering last night and how he wouldn’t be able to come home as soon as she’d hoped you, embrace her and allow her to cry into your shoulder, “I miss Spike so much.” She said through her sobs and sniffles.
“Hey, hey Twilight, the letter said he would be okay, I know, it hurts, but I’m here to help you as much as possible and no, I won’t try to replace your number one assistant.”
She lifts her face from your shoulder and says “Thank you.” You go to the kitchen and begin cooking pancakes, and, using a basic recipe book, properly made hay fries and, got the best apple juice from Sweet Apple Orchards. Twilight comes down the stairs as you finish setting the table and placing the dishes in their respective place. Twilight looks at you as you begin to slowly eat your breakfast, she reluctantly begins to eat hers.
“Hey Twilight, if you think it will help, we will go down to the hospital and check on Spike to see how he’s doing, Okay?” you tell her, she nods in response. After finishing breakfast, you collect the dishes and go into the kitchen to begin washing them, suddenly you hear someone calling your name, you go into the lobby to find that it was Twilight, Buried in a pile of books that had fallen when she’d tried to find a specific book and you notice that she’d slightly bruised her wrist from the avalanche of books falling on her when she’d tried to catch herself you go to retrieve the medical kit as she sits in a chair in the lobby, you use an ace bandage wrap to wrap her wrist.
“You’re going to have to take it easy today, so just make a list of things that need to be done and I will do my best to get it done. Okay?”
She begins to make the list as you reshelf the fallen books in proper order, once done cleaning up the books she hands you the list, as you complete each task you find that daylight was running out and you remembered that you promised to take her to check on Spike, so you quickly complete the rest of your tasks and rush to the library and have Twilight walk with you to the hospital.
As you walk with her she says “Hey listen, I just want to thank you for… for everything. It’s like I was working too hard to notice anyone around me except my friends and before you showed up, I was really struggling to keep ahead of schedule as I was getting things done barely leaving time for my friends. But now that you’re here it’s helped free both my schedule and Spikes while not overloading yourself. So maybe tomorrow we could take the day off and just have a friendly get together with you and all of my friends.”
Just before you reach the hospital you hear a faint cry, not in sadness but in fear, as you round the corner you see Fluttershy cowering against a bush hiding her face looking into the direction of the Everfree Forest, you look over in that direction but see nothing, once you turn back to face Fluttershy who was cowering even further when you heard a growl behind you noticing that it was that of a wolf.
You spun around in a round house kick to the face of a timber wolf, then shattering another timber wolf and watching as the rest retreated back to the Everfree Forest, after such a short fight, Fluttershy comes out and says “thank you for saving me.”
You turn to her and reply “Not to be mean or anything but you should consider bringing someone with you next time you’re out here at night. Okay?”
She replies “Okay,”
“I really think you should come with us so that this doesn’t happen again.” You never notice Rainbow Dash looking over from above in the clouds as you enter the hospital. Inside the hospital, they allow you to enter the room where Spike is resting, to see him brought Twilight to a light sobbing but stopped as she saw Spike sit up and rub his eyes.
“Oh, hey Twi, how’s everything at the library?” before she has a chance to answer you tell her “Let me tell him, okay?”
Twilight nods, you walk up to Spikes side, motioning for Twilight and Fluttershy to follow.
“Well Spike, as you can see, everyone has missed you very much, heck, even I missed you. But hey that’s what friends do, they care for each other, right?” you say to him.
“Yeah, you’re right. Next time this happens I’ll make sure to play it safe and watch everything to make sure nothing falls on me like that again, OH, Twilight what happened to your wrist? He asks her worriedly.
She explains to him “Just knocked over some books when I fell trying to get to a certain book because I didn’t want to use my magic to get it, I called for help when he came in from the kitchen and pulled me out of the mess and wrapped my wrist then cleaned up the mess while I relaxed as he’d recommended, so how much longer until you are released?”
“Oh just a few more days, since the wounds weren’t as bad as they looked and nothing is broken, they just want me to take it easy after getting out.” He told the three of you.
The doctor comes in and says “It’s time for you to go now, he needs his rest.”
“Well that does help some, doesn’t it Twilight?” she nods “I’ll walk Fluttershy home, and then I will be right there.” As you part ways with Twilight as she heads home. After an hour of light conversation you catch Rainbow Dash watching but pretend not to notice. Leaving to head home you see her take off toward Twilights, in concern for her action you rush to the library to see that Twilight had fallen asleep before she’d even got to the front door so you walk over and pick her up, earning a faint smile of comfort from her.
Once in the bedroom you place her in the bed and lie down next to her, as soon as you lie down she throws her arm over you holding onto you, you return the embrace falling asleep in each other’s warmth. The morning after, you hear voices as you wake, down in the lobby you hear Rainbow Dash and Twilight, “Rainbow Dash, what were you doing last night.” You address her, she begins to sweat nervously as she tries to find a reason to cover the truth.
“It’s no use trying to hide it. I know you saw me fend off those timber wolves. Yeah, I may not have noticed you at first but when I was walking home from Fluttershy’s, I saw you in the clouds but pretended not to notice, were you spying on me or something?”
“Well, yes, I was watching you, but when I saw you defend Fluttershy from those timber wolves I was amazed at what you did that got them to retreat and I was just amazed ever since and I meant to ask you how you did that, but I was too scared to ask.” She answered
“Hey, it’s okay, you’re my friend and you don’t have to be afraid to ask me anything, and what happened last night, lots of practice.” You tell her smiling “I could even teach you, if the need arises should you need to defend yourself.” Rainbow Dash begins to ruffle her wings with excitement at the offer and says “yes.”
Twilight walks up to you handing you a letter regarding openings for employment, as you look over the list of openings, you see that there is a position at Sugarcube corner, deciding that this would be the best option, you go down to Sugarcube corner, at the counter you see Pinkie Pie, but this time she’s not smiling “Hey Pinkie, you okay?” she nods, but knowing that she’s troubled you ask “Hey, wanna grab some tea at the library after work? We can talk it out there if it helps with Twilight around.” She nods, after going through the application process and helping finish the rest of the day, you walk with Pinkie Pie to the library and call out “Twilight, we have company.” Twilight comes down from the bedroom and says
“Oh, Pinkie is something wrong.”
“Yeah, Sugarcube corner is going out of business, the Cakes are moving and they wouldn’t be able to leave it all on one pony.” Then she turns to you and says “You just put in an application, right?”
You look at her an say “As a matter of fact I did, Why?” looking at you she starts to sob burying her face into your shoulder and surprisingly hear her say “Thank you, for saving Sugarcube corner.”
She looks up at you, with a sad look but not as hard as before, “There must be something else. I can tell.”
You say to her
“It’s something I lost, that means so much to me, it was stolen last night by a bandit.” she tells you
“Hey, tell you what, I’ll get it back no matter what I do within legal limits, I’m a very good at undercover operations.” Pinkie looks up at you finally excited, seeing her smile gets the heartbroken feeling off of your chest.
Just a few days later, you see the bandit that was described by Pinkie swiping the bits out of the register, as the shop keep of quills and sofas was in the back getting more quills, you begin to shadow the suspicious pony to his hide out and once inside staying to the shadows you see what Pinkie Pie was missing. Without the thief’s notice you sneak away with Pinkies special cookie sheet made of pure platinum, which was the reason the thief took it, you make it to the exit and hear a loud racket as you realize that he’d discovered that what you had retrieved was missing and you quickly run to the library, locking the cookie sheet away with Twilight sealing It away with a barrier, you run to the police to report the location of the thief’s stash you lead them to it, you give them the idea of waiting the thief out and ambushing him when he leaves his cave, after waiting for hours instead of seeing him leave you see him going in after pulling something out of his pocket to look at it, with that you shout “NOW!” the ambush sprung and the thief in cuffs, all of the stolen items now being returned to their rightful owners, the officers that were with you thank you for your assistance and one of the officers come up to you and ask
“How would you like a position undercover as a baker at Sugarcube corner?”
You look to him saying “Since I already work there, yes.”
“Now you will be maintaining jurisdiction over the property there, if anyone sees suspicious activity, they bring it to you, any activity brought to you will be brought to us immediately.” You in turn reply “Yes sir.” After a hard day of work, you retire to bed with Twilight waiting for you and lie down closing your eyes.
Twilight thinks to herself “Huh, he’s never been this tired, I’ll just ask him about it tomorrow.” And wraps herself around you as you sleep. After a few days, you hear a knock at the door but no one was there, you close the door and suddenly the lights go out you turn around going to the middle of the room then out of nowhere “SURPRISE!” and among the crowd you see Spike.
“Hey Spike, I forgot that you were getting out so soon.”
“Nah, don’t worry about it. All I know is we got you good.”
“Oh I forgot to ask you last Monday,” Twilight interjected “what’s gotten you so tired?”
“Oh that, um yeah, I’m working undercover for the police, and working at Sugarcube corner.” You tell her as you relax and enjoy the surprise party that Pinkie threw for you, after getting her cookie sheet back, as her way of saying thank you.
After the party, catching you by surprise, you find Twilights lips planted firmly on yours and you lightly push her away and tell her “It… it’s too soon for me right now I don’t even know how I feel about you right now, I’ll be over at Rarity’s since it’s my day off, I promised her I’d help her at the boutique.”
Over at the Carousel Boutique, after placing the materials in the store room rarity notices the puzzled look on your face, flips the open sign to closed and asks “What seems to be the matter dear?” you look at her with an unsatisfied look.
“Yeah, it’s between me and Twilight.”
“What happened between you two?”
“Well, she kind of… kissed me, and I don’t really know how I feel about her. Can you help me?” you ask her.
“Why of course I can help you, sweetie cake. Let me tell, you the first time I ever fell in love with someone I wasn’t sure exactly how I felt with him, until I sat down with him and talked about the things we loved to do, our favorite places and all that, turns out we loved the same thing, but before we could solidify our love, we were separated by his parents when they moved. So try that but since your residence here is confirmed you won’t have to worry about that.” She tells you
“Yeah that might be worth a try, thanks.” You reply happily. Back at the library, you see Twilight studying as you would any day, “Hey Twilight, um, we need to talk.” You tell her
“Why, what’s the matter?” she asks
“I want to know some things about you in turn for some knowledge about me.” You tell her
“Okay, well let’s start with activities, I really like to study and read, a lot, and I like to keep things clean and in order.” She starts, after talking about interests and laughter you look into her eyes and you can’t help but notice her looking just as love struck as you, you reel her in and plant a firm kiss on her lips and without hesitation, she returns the kiss with passion you pick her up off the couch, carry her to the bed, then you lay down next to her letting your lips land on hers again, getting an “mmmm” from her, then you realize that she had slipped out from under you and removed her clothes, Kissing you again.

Waking up from the aftermath of last night’s bit of fun, you see her arms draped over you holding you close, you kiss her on the forehead knowing that you have to work today you trudge out of the room and make coffee, after taking a shower and getting dressed, you get your coffee and head out the door you hear hollering coming from Sweet Apple Orchards, you run to see what happened to find that applejack had gotten into a fight with her brother again.
“Alright, what happened here.” you ask, demandingly.
Big Mac began “Well, it started like this, I was just out here, bucking apples as I usually do, then as I finished my third tree, I see that the tree that I had fist cleared and carried the baskets away from were there again, I know Applejack can be a trickster at times, so I thought it was her.”
“Okay, what about you, Applejack?” “my side of the story is the one thing that makes it obvious that I didn’t do it, I was just mindin’ my own business, then he comes up blurtin and runnin his mouth, sayin I placed those apples back out there at that tree he just cleared, and I know I didn’t do it. On the other hand he put a bee’s nest in my room.” She says.
“I did not.” Big Mac retorted angrily, then Rainbow Dash and appeared from behind one of the bushes laughing.
Rainbow Dash said “Oh, you should see the looks on your faces.” You look at her disapprovingly, she notices that you obviously aren’t pleased with her at the moment “Look, I’m sorry, I just thought it would be funny causing an argument for no reason.” She pleads.
Sighing “alright, but you need to learn that some pranks can be quite bothersome.” You tell them, them knowing that you are already late for work, they apologize to you and each other allowing you to get to work and make up for lost time.
At work, Pinkie Pie comes in “Hey, Thanks for working so much harder today to make up for lost time the customers were starting to get a little angry, you know, but with as hard as you’ve worked you deserve a paid week off.” She said
“Oh, you don’t have to, but thank you anyway.” You reply, modestly accepting her generous offer. After getting off of work that day, you go into the library, landing on the couch with a disgruntled sigh. Twilight walks in seeing you lying on the couch “Tough day?”
“Yeah, first I was late to work, due to an argument between Applejack and Big Mac caused by Rainbow Dash.” You reply bluntly
“Hey, if it isn’t any trouble, I was going to ask you to help Spike later on this week with preparing for a party.” Asks Twilight “yeah, it’s the least I can do.” You say stressed as you turn over closing your eyes. Waking up at night you notice a sound coming from the room, to your surprise, it was Spike groaning restlessly, trying to get comfortable noticing that he wasn’t covered by his usual blanket, realizing this, you look around the room to find his blanket hanging on the door for some odd reason you take it down and turn around to find Twilight calling you to bed, you tell her.
“Just let me get Spike covered.” You retire to bed, and she says “I knew you would get up to come to bed.” She kisses you on the lips and lies down “I just figured I would wait for you to come to bed to actually sleep.”
“Well, that said lets hit the hay.”
She looks at you angrily “Jeez, I was just kidding what it means is, let’s get some sleep.” You say making her happy as you both lie down embracing each other with one final kiss, “Night Twilight.” You say.
“Night.” She responds as you fall asleep in each other’s embrace.

it really was a lot of work to get this far, i wrote a lot without even sending it in so that i could get shorter chapters in so i just went with it
Waking with Twilight lying her head on your chest, you lightly sigh realizing just how much you love her, so you decide to lie there, on your first day off, until she wakes up and gets up herself.
After an hour, Twilight wakes up, you look down into her misty, beautiful, violet eyes, running your hand through her silky mane, kissing her before getting out of bed to get dressed. Once down in the lobby you catch the scent of pancakes and hay fries, which oddly enough taste good to you, you see Spike in the kitchen preparing breakfast. “Hey Spike.” You call out to him, he looks back and replies “hey.” Once Twilight enters the lobby, Spike enters the room placing each plate in its respective place
“I had planned on going to Zecora’s today, I was just wondering if you’d like to go with me?” she asked, as if on cue you reply
“Like to? I’d love to go with you.”
Taking her by surprise with your enthusiasm “Well you certainly are pepped up today.” She says to you happily. Walking through the Everfree forest, you keep your wits about you as you know the dangers of walking through the forest but the tension fades when you reach a hut in the middle of the forest, inside the hut, you see a zebra who seems to be working on a very important recipe for some sort of potion that she was explaining to Twilight, observing you decide to take notes as well, then you hear a voice in front of you.
Looking away from your notes, you see the zebra standing in front of you and she says “Well you seem to be just as studious as Twilight, taking in what knowledge you can to make your future bright.”
“Um, yeah, it comes natural.” You reply “You must be Zecora, I presume?” you ask in a formal tone, as soon as you ask Zecora says “I am.” You introduce yourself formally; Zecora then continues her lesson as you resume taking your own notes.
Heading out of the Everfree forest with Twilight you see something off in the distance and then notice the smoke rising from the area to see that there is a mountain in the distance, you look at Twilight and ask “I’m guessing there’s a dragon over there but look where the smoke is going, right… over… Ponyville. We have to hurry!”
With that, the two of you hurry into town to gather the rest of the friends to be-rid of the dragon residing in the mountain, once every one had arrived you say knowingly “Alright, as you can see, there is a dragon nearby resting in its den, we need to convince it to leave so that we can avoid breathing in the dragons smoke, once we can convince the dragon to leave, we can return to our daily lives, if not then we will have to take more drastic measures to ensure Equestria's safety, is this clear to you all, and just so you know, I know about the Elements of Harmony. They exist in a different form where I came from the six were carried by individuals who set aside their differences for only that time but after the task was done we went our separate ways, but I also carry another, you do not yet know of it there is a seventh, passion, I also carried the element of magic, but that was taken from me when the other five were defeated. The evils I faced are much different from what you face, I am the embodiment of passion, but have been dormant in the many years that I had not been called upon since it was the only element I had not lost. And know I think I know why I am here, it is the element I carry.” You show them the necklace that appears to be a normal dog-tag used in the military “You see, the world I was in had been engaged in bloody conflict and the six elements there that you carry now were defeated. But now that you have the seventh element, your ability to defend Equestria has significantly increased.” You show them the heart engraved in the tags “This is how the elements were identified where I am from. I was just afraid to let that information out into public, but I’m sure Princess Celestia will find out.”
With that said you begin your journey along with the mane six. After hours of walking and climbing you reach a chasm with a bridge that seems to have lost its supports and now hangs into the chasm, Rainbow Dash goes into the chasm retrieving the other end of the bridge and goes to tie it off, realizing how unstable it was you cross one after another with the exception of Fluttershy who assisted Rainbow Dash. Once across the bridge they encounter the entrance to the den, Twilight says “Let me be the first to try.” She goes in, trying to reason with the dragon, but that doesn’t end well as she runs out some of her fur singed by the dragons fire.
Then you step up but before you enter Rainbow Dash flies in Trying to force the dragon out, also resulting in an unpleasant outcome then you enter and begin to attempt to calm the dragon as you call Fluttershy in, with Fluttershy at your side you begin with “Tell us, what is it that has brought you here?” the dragon then sat and said
“To get away from the other dragons, they… they reject me as if I don’t even exist.”
Then Fluttershy said to the dragon “Aww, they’re nothing but a bunch of bullies. They just want to look better than everyone else, but in all honesty they are no better than any of the ponies that have bullied me.”
“Yeah, same here. You know you are loved; you just have to wait for that special someone. But your smoke is causing a lot of trouble where we live and I will make sure that Rainbow Dash apologizes to you right away.” You call Rainbow Dash into the den “I believe you owe this dragon an apology.” You tell her; reluctantly the next words out of her muzzle were “I’m sorry.”
Seeing that the dragon was feeling better he says “I’m sorry I caused so much trouble, I’ll go somewhere else to rest so that I won’t cause any harm to anyone.” “You can call us here anytime you want to visit so that you don’t scare the rest of the ponies, just write to us. Okay?” you tell the dragon and with that the dragon flies off happily you tell them all “Passion and kindness, can prevail together when it comes to comforting others, now let’s go home and rest.
As you reach the library Zecora, as unusual as it is, comes running to you saying “This potion will change your form, though it will seem at first like a storm, you will see the world as we see it, I insist that you consume it for your benefit. Although the effect is permanent” You think to yourself “well, if I really want to understand the way they live, I’ll have to. Well, bottoms up.”
As you down the potion and the changes begin to take effect you feel your black hair grow into a long mane, and you suddenly feel a tail of the same color as you mane, protrude from your backside, and your face suddenly gains in length and your eyes move slightly to the left and right to conform to the changes, and your feet become hooves, but your hands remain. Though embarrassing at first, it wasn’t painful. The only thing that made it better is the fact that you know that you can’t go back now knowing that the effect is permanent. And you look at the ground to see what were your clothes, on the ground ripped to shreds, “Luckily nopony was really out on the street when this happened.” you thought with a sigh of relief, then headed into the library you still felt something that made you exhausted and you went straight to bed.
The next day you wake with a migraine, as you rub your temples you run your hand across your forehead to find a horn there, and you then hear Twilight calling to you as you stand in your new form, staggering a bit, you make your way down into the lobby of the library “oh.” Twilight gasps, looking at the horn that wasn’t there last night.
“I guess, you were to tense for the potion to finish taking its effect and finally finished when you were in a relaxed state the final change happened at random meaning it decided to give you horns and something else, look in the mirror.” You look into a mirror that Twilight placed in front of you to notice the wings as well. Your coat was a deep blue, not like Princess Luna’s, with a crescent moon with three stars in the middle as a cutie mark since it was the only tattoo you had on your body, resembling the one thing you did best in, which was astronomy, but knowing nothing of the stars here in Equestria, you call for Spike, who knows nothing of your new form, he enters and looks at you with shock and awe, to see you in this form left him speechless, you tell him “I want you to go with me to get the supplies to build a complete observatory.”
Spike just nods. After a long trip in the market you find a location in the open field to build your observatory and training room and with the help of those able in the Apple family and the rest of Ponyville the observatory was built rather quickly and everything was in place, a road had been paved from the observatory into town. After the construction was finished, you retire to bed with Twilight who you plan to propose to. In bed you pull Twilight into a deep, passionate kiss, Twilight delightedly returns the kiss, and the two of you fall asleep in the embrace of the other. Waking up in an empty bed, you assume that Twilight is already awake, as you sit up on the bed you stretch your arms and wings out to loosen the muscles before getting up to head into the lobby, in the lobby you see a plate of your favorite meal, pancakes and hayfries on the table and on the table across from it, a book with your name all over it.
The title read ‘Magic, the Essence of Supernatural Power’, sighing you quickly finish your breakfast and begin to walk over to the table of books, as you approach the book Twilight enters the room saying “Ready for your first lesson in magic?”
“Yeah.” Is all you could manage to mutter due to the little bit of restlessness you’d encountered last night.
“Okay the first spell you are going to learn is levitation spells.” Twilight inquires, showing you by using her magic to lift a flower pot and move it to the table you were sitting at then said “Move it back to its original place in the window.”
With a bit of hesitation and struggle, the flower pot takes on an reddish orange glow and lifts off of the table, you manage to place the flower pot in its original place carefully.
“Wow, that was a bit of work but I might get it down and perfect it with practice, so what’s next?” you ask.
“Teleportation.” As you take on a pink glow you feel extremely lightweight, then with a flash you appear at the door to the bedroom, then she turns to you saying “Remember where you were just standing and teleport to that location.” As you focus your magic and try to remember where you were, you lose track of where you were for a second and teleport to the kitchen, then you focus your magic again this time teleporting back to the table you were originally at. “Done, a little shaky, I know I need some work with that one.” You positively state as Twilight comes over to you.
“That you do, my trusted student.”
With that you ask “is there anything else you are going to be teaching me?”
“No that is all for today. Now that you have a training room within your observatory, you will be expected to use that room to practice your spells and to help you learn other spells when you are ready. I have an extra copy of my big book of spells that I was hoping to be able to pass down to someone.” She answers “Now, I believe we are expecting company soon so if you would like to clean up a bit before she arrives you can hit the shower, that is, if you want to?”
After taking a shower, you see Rainbow Dash and she hasn’t noticed you yet, you walk up behind her and say “Hey, what’s up?” earning a surprised yelp from her, causing you to involuntarily ruffle your wings with excitement, Rainbow Dash looks at you with a suspicious grin “Here to offer flying lessons?” you ask.
With that she responds “Well, now that I’ve seen your wings, yes. Since there are no weather situations I’ll go easy on ya.”
“When do we start?” you ask her, she responds “right now.” The three of you go to your training room complete with an indoor track, weight lifting equipment and a basketball court on the other side.
“Looks like you planned ahead, didn’t ya?” Rainbow Dash asked.
“Yeah, but I think I should get some suitable exercise clothes for when I work out and train here.”
“Already done.” Twilight hands you a white t-shirt with holes in the back for your wings, and a pair of well fitted basketball shorts with a hole for the tail to rest into while still being allowed to flow freely, you hand the shirt back knowing that you will be flying today and that the shirt will hinder your flying, they allow you to go to the changing room. After changing into your shorts they notice how fit you are “they come up to you like they just saw the sexiest stallion ever, running their hands over your stomach and chest admiring your level of physique, not too bulky, not too flabby, fairly toned with a fairly visible six pack
“Oh yeah, comes natural with being what I did when I was human I was fairly toned then so here I am now, same physique.” You say “okay, can we get to training?”
“Oh right, well then let’s start with hovering for one minute, Twilight this would be a perfect time to get better so I’d recommend getting up there with him and training with him so that you can have an easier pace than what you did when having to perform in your first tornado.” Rainbow Dash said as Twilight joined you as you hovered in mid-air without even the slightest difficulty. Twilight asks you “How are you getting it so easily?”
“Easy, I just look into the trainers eyes to look for the details, then I use what I see and it comes out perfectly, although with magic it was a little harder to look into your eyes because I had to focus on objects that prevented me from looking into your eyes.” You answer her question “the only problem is I will get easily fatigued if I hold it too long, being that it is my first time.”
“And land.” Rainbow Dash commands. “Wow that was amazing work there, handsome. Keep it up and you just might be my protégé, maybe even my equal, you are learning a little faster than I had expected.” She complimented
“Well thank you, it happens when you are an ace student throughout all of your years in school.” You tell her, then she says “get to the starting line, we’re going to move on to moving while flying, you are going to get a running start then take off with your wings, now let’s see it happen.” Rainbow Dash commands, then blows her whistle.
You take off in a sprint leaning forward you unfurl your wings from your sides and take to the air a bit wobbly then quickly recover for a clean flight rounding the corner you decide to give it all you’ve got and blast around the next corner with amazing speed and precision the wind speed meter counting your speed at an amazing 9.8.
“Not bad.” Rainbow Dash says, you slow down for a perfect landing. “You got everything in just one days training, how’d you do it?” she asks.
“Oh easy, I looked into your eyes collected every detail, then challenged myself to go all out.” You said, covered in a fine sheen of sweat from training “I just needed help unlocking the ability.” “So Dashie, Wanna race Just to see if I can keep up?”
“Is that a challenge?” Rainbow Dash said laughingly “let’s go then.”
On the starting line of the most dangerous chasm in Equestria, you and Rainbow Dash Take off full speed ahead in a friendly race to cross the finish line, after hours of flying the finish comes in sight you and Rainbow Dash are neck and neck and cross the line in a tie “your faster than I expected.” Rainbow Dash said. You laugh lightly at the compliment saying
“Thanks, you almost had me a few times. I thought you’d leave me in the dust when we took off.”
“Yeah, me too.” said Rainbow Dash.
After a day of training and racing you find yourself lying on the bed that you and Twilight share, waiting for her to come to bed you just lie there thinking “What a day this has been, I’m learning magic, and flying like a pro already, I’m an alicorn and I’m not even of royal decent, and all I did was drink a potion. I’ll have to write about this to the Princess.” Just as you finish thinking Twilight slides into bed and plants a passionate kiss on your lips, you return the kiss holding it for a minute before breaking the kiss and saying good night and laying your arm over her and her hands resting on yours, then falling into a restful sleep.
You wake up to find Twilight still asleep you find that Spike had left a diamond ring in your half of the closet that Twilight had never noticed, to go to retrieve the ring and find the case right next to it placing the ring in the case neatly and closing the case, you walk over to Twilight's side of the bed knowing that you had been dating her for some time now, you wake her and as she stands in her pajamas you go to one knee and ask her “Twilight Sparkle, will you marry me?” as you open the case with the ring in it she begins to shed tears of joy and says “yes.”
As she embraces you tightly, you return her embrace careful not to overdo it, after breaking the embrace you place the ring on her ring finger. With that you say “Spike, write a letter to Princess Celestia, tell her that we are getting married. But before you send it we will need to decide on the date, Twilight dear, what do you say?”
“Today!” Twilight says excitedly, with that you tell Spike “tell her that the wedding will be here in Ponyville, in town hall, we will apply our signatures.” As you and Twilight sign the letter, “Okay, that letter is on its way to Canterlot now, soon after sending the letter, Spike lets forth an spew of green flames releasing a letter into Spikes hands, it reads:
Dear Twilight Sparkle and Midnight Star,
I am proud to be able to be the first to be informed of this occurrence first hand, I will inform the rest of the ponies in Ponyville and will be making a personal appearance myself to see to it that this wedding goes well. I wish to congratulate the two of you. Midnight Star, I know that you carry the seventh element of harmony, but it was never introduced until the six created this element with their love and compassion for each other as friends, the same connection you never knew you had before you came to Equestria, that element though was never found until you came along.

You embrace Twilight Tightly with knowing that your wedding is confirmed and you release her and you both rush to the Carousel Boutique to inform Rarity of the wedding later that day and she begins working immediately on the best wedding attire she can possibly make, after two hours the attire is ready and everypony is already waiting in town hall, although the wedding isn’t in Canterlot, Princess Celestia takes It upon herself to be-wed the two of you and with that Spike presents the rings to each of them and after each of you had said your vows and the pronunciation of your bond in matrimony you place the ring in your hand on her finger, and she does the same, the two of you kiss passionately in front of everypony.
After the wedding reception, you carry Twilight Sparkle to your home that you now share forever with her. You lay her down on the bed, then you see a flash of soft golden light behind you and there you see Princess Celestia and she asks “What have you learned about friendship?” addressing you with your name.
“Well, finding friends can be easy at times, and at times it can be difficult, and after being brought here I was able to find my friends here starting with my wife, Twilight, whom I will treasure forever, then her friends who I get along with very well, it started with just the six of them then once I was transformed the other ponies didn’t see me as much of a freak as they did when I was human, and when they saw my cutie mark, that is when they started calling me Midnight Star, so I let it stick. Now, how I became an alicorn was due to a potion that was practically harmless, created by Zecora little did I know that the potion would see my desire to use magic and my desire to fly and I was warned that the effect was permanent. Knowing the risks and consequences, I accepted this change and change is part of friendship as well.”
Once again using your name she says “well done, and do you want to know something else, you just found the answers you were looking for, they were in love, friendship, and commitment, but you couldn’t see it at first, could you?”
“No, your highness, I did not.” You say with light laughter joined by Princess Celestia.
“Now, I know you were going to get to something that mostly only married ponies would do, now weren’t you.” You nod and she says “well don’t let me keep you from your love making now, and again congratulations.” With that Princess Celestia disappeared with a soft flash of golden light.
The night was filled with moans and screams of pleasure and ecstasy as the two of you made sweet, passionate love to one another.

Ten years later, working fulltime at Sugarcube Corner and undercover, you return home from work, to your wife, Twilight, and son, Star Shimmer Sparkle, an off colored violet colt with a shining star as his cutie mark, “Daddy!” Star Shimmer runs up to you, hugging you playfully, returning the gentle embrace with a smile on your face, you break the hug and Twilight walks out of the bedroom looking down at you happy to see you home from work, she comes down and wraps her arms gracefully around you and pulls you into a passionate kiss.
“How was work, today?” she asked “well, it was actually a pretty busy day, having to work the store on my own today but I was able to manage.” As you, Twilight and Star Shimmer sat together laughing lightly. Then when it was time for everyone to go to bed, since Star Shimmer starts the sixth grade tomorrow, he was sent to bed early, you and Twilight spent some of the night just hugging and kissing and sharing the days experiences before finally falling asleep.

i worked so hard as i was starting to run out of ideas for an ending but then i just made it up with the help of combining some of the ideas.
