One was that he was very strong. Another was because he was durable and took on her frustration and tantrums pretty well. And last was because he was able to calm her soul, bringing her peace. As Empress, she loved spending time with her subjects in the Mega Empire. Every moment she had spent with her subjects was to improve their way of life, and to sooth all their pain and troubles. She tried to save her empire from utter annihilation in "The War of the Mighty" but sacrificed herself in the process. She and her husband met their fate to a unknown draconequus. They were able to stay long enough to have most of the inhabitants leave the battlefield. She died especially to save her only child. Before Her Transformation Emperor Astrim Emperor Astrim, or Star/Constellation is the bringer of the moon, and stars. He controls the rotation of comets, meteors, and could sense a threat from great distance. He was Emperor of The Celestial Empire. He ruled the earth alongside his wife Lucena. He was a great father up until he was enshrouded by "The Great Shadow's" darkness. His entire body resembled the stars of the universe. His mane, wings, and tail were transparent. His gray crown and necklace were made from the materials of the moon, and was also designed and crafted by the hoofs of King Vulganaris. He was a great father. He taught Celestia and Luna magic with his wife Lucena, and trained but did not successfully teach Luna how to raise the moon for she was still rather young. Astrim alongside Lucena, and the other allicorn families did their best in protecting the lands of Equestria. He also tried making the night sky more beautiful every night for all who saw it. Not long after the darkness controlled his greed did he become the most important pawn of "The Great Shadow's" army. He couldn't control himself and asked for his death after all the innocent lives he has taken even though he wasn't in control of his body. He was killed by the hooves of Empress Lucena his own wife. He trained these ponies to quick and as almost as swift as light itself. He was extremely quick himself, and flew through skies like second nature. He flies so quickly through the skies that it was written, that he was nearly omnipotent in all open areas. He always did his best like all royal leaders to make sure his subjects lived comfortable lives. He made sure most pegasi were trained in how to clear the skies and how to make rainbows by starting up factories. He was quite an inventing stallion. He was a very strong stallion, able to successfully do the jobs of both parents which were to control tectonic plates, keep volcanoes from erupting. He had also his own power to move through the starry heavens as a comet. He had a black flowing mane and tail that would brighten when he becomes excited or angry. His crown was made by his father and the necklace was made by his mother. All his ornaments were with made with great love and care. He was a very nice unicorn colt, but could be easily angered at times. He always loved and respected his parents in high regard. He listened to their every saying, and was mostly obedient. Although he was obedient to them, he could be easily influenced by any pony who has as they say “a way with words.” He used to run about the Celestial Empire and play many childhood games with Celestia, Luna, and other friends. He had a crush on Princess Celestia, but never told her that he did. That was always a secret… His childhood went well for him until his parents death in about 4,000 B.B. which was said to be “The War of the Mighty”. It was oddly a beautiful day in the Mega Empire, everypony living their lives. But suddenly darkness filled the skies of all the lands, and an elder dragon came down as a giant lightning bolt upon their empire. All the villagers were horrified by the giant elder dragon. It didn’t speak but had glared down at all the inhabitants of the empire. It then breathed its fire of wrath upon the equines of the empire. Prince Surtas’s Father flew out to confront the great beast. His mother took him to the “The chamber of origins” and said her farewells to him before leaving to help Emperor Vulganaris. Prince Surtas couldn’t stay in one place, so he teleported into the highest tower and watched the great battle from afar. He felt the power from his parents slip away fast. He looked out into the distance and saw that the elder dragon had disappeared from the empire, and only a large smoke remained. He watched closely at the draconequus crushing the bones of his mother. His father laid dead with a spear in his back. He teleported to save his mother but was too late. He couldn’t save his mother, at all… The beast towered over him and tried to crush him as well. Lucena has done many things and had also been through alot as the Empress. She was one of the founding members for “The Equestrian Alliance”. Every decision that was made for the world was discussed and agreed upon with her husband. She help her brothers and sisters become or transform into alicorns. She has conquered in many wars, and had defeated many foes. She was friendly to all her fellow alicorns, and over centuries has gained the trust and friendship of the other races. Although there she had a strong friendship with many kingdoms, she and other alicorns couldn't get along at all with the Diamond Dog Empire. Empress Lucena met her fate upon confronting "The Great Dark Shadow" in "The War of the Mighty"... Her mane and tail resembled the many beautiful plants and trees that were spread about the world. Her wings and body resembled the earth and of how pure it was for it was soft to the touch and alive. Her crown, necklace, and shoes were carefully crafted by the hooves of King Vulganaris. The designs however were decided by her. She was great friends with Empress Tetanus. She was usually shy and scared of venturing to places she didn’t know too well. She usually stayed in the The Grand Forest, and kept the little animals of the forest company. She also enjoyed visiting and discovering other forest around the world. She also created and have grown plants that were able to heal and quicken the bodies of those who were weak, but they vanished after a time... A forest she favored the most was "The Forest of Harmony". She would love to go there just to relax and talk with all the lovely animals of the forest. At all the forest she loved this one the most, and she helped grow the "The Tree of Harmony". She took care of most of the forests but couldn't watch over them after "The War of the Mighty".
