Chapters Twelve years later Somber became a grown stallion, he wore the Royal Armor of The West. A Red robe with a metal chest piece and the metal greaves around his hooves. He walked into the room of the king's chamber and looked at the king on his death bed. The sickness has got the final stage and Somber stared at him with the stare of a thousand warriors with anger in his eyes.
"All these years, not once you treated me like a son, but you treated me as a pet and a servant. You paid others to spend time with me and I grew up hating you and I always waited for this day, you are nothing but a old man and now when your gone, I will be king and their is nothing you and your pathetic guards could do about it!"
The king weakly grabbed Somber by the neck and pulled him too his face
"I have taught you well. I taught you to hate your enemy and I was your enemy and now you won the battle and now you earned my kingdom, your darkness will shade over this world and bring all ponies too your hooves. You know what too do."
Somber grew angry and took his horn and slit the king's neck up large enough for his tongue to hang out and he kept slicing him until a guard grabbed him, Somber quickly turned into the Smog and overcame the kingdom turning all his ponies into slaves. He brought the crown of the king to his eyes, and put it on and with a loud demanding voice.
"I am your new king, now bow before me or you will perish before me."
All the ponies bowed and dropped there heads too the ground and so did all the warriors of the kingdom.
"You will build the walls of my kingdom out and higher than before, you will make your own bricks and will not be provided food, you will earn your own food by hunting in the wasteland or growing in the land. You will not get any water until you have earned it, and you will bow before me because I am King Somber!"
After hours of being unconscious Somber and Vivid woke up in a strange place, it looked like they were flying but there were being help up be a spell that look like a thin aqua blue sight holding them up. Vivid was looking around while, Somber was fighting it. Two lights arose from the distance blinding both of them and when the bright like dimmed, they looked forward and saw an Anicorn bigger than the land both kingdoms fight on. It's wings flapped it wings so hard it could destroy any building ever made by any pony, it's eyes were nothing but white and very bright and it had a unknown form of reddish armor that made the money look like a God. Somber was just as shocked as Vivid was but the Anicorn started to talk with a heavy royal voice that was so loud and so smooth.
"You Somber have erupted the universe and caused the land to be in too war and hate and vivid you have not set balance to the world, you two are soppose to rule together but you ignored my message."
Somber still surprised at what is going on, vivid started to reply.
"What message, I havn't receive a message from you?"
"The message was that I sent you too separate kingdoms that were at war to set balance to the world. The world was in the land of hate and now their is only one thing I can do too set this world to where it is soppose to be. I shall transfer you Vivid into the land, the sky, the water, and the life that lives in it. You will become the life and beauty of the land, and you Somber you shall set balance and fear into the world. I shall call this land Equestria and give birth too The Day and The Night. They will rule over the land together. Somber you will rule a city but you will be defeated by the day and the night will rise against you as well and you will be banished from the land."
With a blow of the Anicorns breath, they returned to their land as they were put. Vivid became the Earth and Somber became the fear in everyone's eyes. All form of life was erased and started over with the Earth Ponies, Pegasus, and the Unicorns fighting and after years of fighting they came together and form the land Equestria together. Making it's capital Canterlot.
A day of shadow and misery, a day where hell was just a petty place of the world. Jet black skies filled the sky and the heavens were on fire. The Ground was gray and the rocks were black from the ash and lined with red blood from the battles. A blood girdling howled in the distance. A wasteland no resources of any kind, the water was dry and the tree were all burnt down, and barely no oxygen from all the pollution of the fire of the trees. A set of twin unicorns were born on the tallest mountain in the cave. A black unicorn and a white unicorn. The universe named the White Unicorn,"Vivid" and the Black Unicorn,"Somber." They were to rule the world together. Vivid was the pony of love and peace and was to set the world to a kind place while her rival was to set war and hatred to the world but the universe wanted both.
"A world of hate is a world of misery but a world of love is blind."
They were to rule together as one but was separated at birth after warriors and high priest made there way up too the war zone to pick up the dead. The warriors were decorated with black and orange armor and on the Right side of the outfit they wore a belt that wrapped around and it had the emblem of the Earth Ponies and the High Priest had brown robes with shaved manes and on their right leg was tattooed of the Unicorns of the West. The Earth ponies took Somber and the High Priest took Vivid. The ponies were separated and put in the tribes of both kingdoms.
The Warriors took Somber to there king and bowed before them and the king was interested in the pony. He had a dark pattern mane with red and green eyes as the king saw and the child never cried. When he demanded something he gave a angry snare that was noticeable a mile away because of the purple flames that came out the corners of the eyes. The king raised the pony to the skies and said with this unicorn we shall win the war against the darkness.
Vivid on the other hand was put into a tribe nursery right when she reached her destination. The high priest set her down in a crib and walked away to get the nurses. The nurse looked down at the pony and saw she had beautiful color in all her mane and a bright blue eyes. Just as blue as the sky before the war. She looked at the pony and held it on her back.
"You are now my child and I will care for you as if you were my own." The pony said.

After eight years of birth Somber was a child in the East Kingdom. The war of the Earth Ponies and Unicorns were still in play. Somber was never accepted into anything because he was a unicorn himself. He sat by himself in the East Wing of the castle reading his books. He was dressed in a purple and red robe which meant royalty in the kingdom. He wore a bracket around his left hoove which was the mark of The Warrior. He did most his time in his studies in the East Wing and if he wasn't studying he was training with the king's personal trainers in fighting. He rarely saw the king and when he did it was for an occasion, but lately the king has been sick and coughing from the polluted air. It isn't bad according to the doctors but Somber knew better. He knew he wouldn't make it much longer that ten more years but Somber didn't have a care in the world, he continued his studies. Somber was taught many things living at the kingdom conquering, invading, war, fighting, and dark magic. Somber found no interest in any of it, he liked to study music, and learned how to play and read music.
One day sitting in the West Wing the Royal Guards ran too the door of Somber's study and kicked it opened and grabbed the child and ran out of the door. Once he ran outside a great fire breathing dragon was attacking the kingdom. While warriors were preparing for a battle, The Royal Guard ran too the gates of the kingdom to get the child to a safer place but the dragon destroyed the from gate and blocking the path too the outside of the castle walls, while somber looked up, the dragon blew a wailing jade fire on too the Royal Guard, turning into a dust. Somber saved hiself by quickly rolling out of the guards back and falling too the ground. This grew Somber angry at the dragon. While the dragon roared to the heaven, Somber grew into a great smog that took over the kingdom and turned the kingdom into black crystals. The dragon was so afraid of the sight but blew fire into the smog trying to destroy Somber. Somber laughed and consumed the dragon in the smog and turning it into a black crystals. The pony grew to it's regular size again and felt stronger than ever. He felt the power he could hold.
Vivid was a beautiful mare she had everything and she was treated as if she was higher than the highest priest. She had beautiful white and light gray mare going down her body and her eyes sparkled with sky blue eyes. She was the sunshine of the East Tribe. She was the mark of beauty and no male unicorn could resist her beauty. She had no cutie mark but she did have a mark on her neck, a unusual mark, only a mark a God would give to their children. The high priest knew she was a blessing of the Gods and the symbol of peace.
The hut where her foster mother held her and cared for her. The same hut where she claimed Vivid as her child. Vivid had a amazing relationship with her and she would spend as much time with her as possible and went every where with her but she just wasn't allowed to cross the river over to the East and no pony was allowed either. The only ones who crossed were the tribe armies and the high priest to retrieve the fallen warriors. The High Priest always made it back but the warriors only time they made it back was when they won a battle. They never surrender and they never stopped fighting and wouldn't give up to the Earth Ponies. They weren't as armored as the Earth Ponies either, they went into battle with ragged robes with patches but they had pride.
One day Vivid walked into the hut to speak to her foster mother.
"Mother, why is are we fighting the Earth ponies why aren't we making peace with them?"
As she sighed she looked at Vivid and replied
"It was 53 years ago when I was a child, King Helisa father of King Limopia who raised Prince Somber, He started this war when he saw us, Unicorns. He wanted to take us and use us as slaves to take over the land and the High Priest would have received a small portion of gold and silver. Our High Priest Sodura refused and this made Helisa very angry. Helisa gave Sodura three days to apply to his demands or he would take it by force. Then Sodura turned and walked away and we already tried to make peace with them but they are so suborned and prideful that they didn't listen. After Helisa died, King Limopia took power and is blind what he is fighting for."
"You mentioned a prince of their kingdom, do you know if he could be the key to peace between our kingdoms?"
"I do not have the slight of clue, all I know is he was born the same day you were in the same place in the middle of the war zone."
Vivid bowed her head and gave thanks and walked out, and looked East seeing the black smog in the distance covering the East Kingdom.
Vivid woke from her slumber in her hut and walked outside, she noticed that the Eastern Kingdom was expanding a lot larger than usual, later one of the scouts came up and shouted to the people.
"The king of the East is dead!"
People start to shout with joy and praise but Vivid looked at the people and said, this is the time we can make peace with them and we can now live as one nation. The ponies all cheered excited that this war is almost over. Vivid gathered many of the people of the tribe and was about to set out too the kingdom. She gathered hundred ponies, twenty five warriors, and three priest. She then started her journey to the castle gates of the kingdom.
After hours she has left she was about a mile and a half away from the kingdom, a fog started to cover the land around her and you heard was the sound of ponies being killed in the fog. Once the fog was cleared there was no pony left, nothing but blood and bits and pieces of the ponies. All their offering were stolen and the scrolls as well and up ahead was a smog. The Great King Somber walked out of it and looked at Vivid, while Vivid was surprised and scared she still was able to bring out these words.
"Who are you?"
The King laughed and told Vivid
"I am the Darkness of the West and the Conquer of the East, I am King Somber and you must be the high priest God Vivid." King Somber answer.
Vivid was shocked and tried to run away before it was too late.
Somber teleported in front of her and replied.
"You are a weak God aren't you, you have no power in this land, you have no powers here but you wouldn't know that because your nothing but a stupid God."
Stepping forward to her while she is backing up
"I am your king and you are to bow before me or I will kill your people, I will not offer you gold or silver and you and your people will work for me and if you refuse." Somber yelled but Vivid quickly interrupted, "What will you do?"
"Let's say I never killed a God before." Somber looked at her with his green and red eyes. The purple flames showed up again and brought more fear to Vivid.
"No, answer, then well then let me answer for you" Somber yelled swinging his horn with a dark spell on to Vivid head.
